My husband and I were restoring an old broken down swan neck rocking chair, and the original internal upholstery was eight way tied springs onto web strapping with wood wool. We wanted to use as much of that "old" technique as possible and we got as far as getting the springs tied on ourselves but were at a loss as to how to proceed from there. Finding anyone who was familiar with this method, and willing to use it, was difficult and I was feeling defeated, but I just kept expanding my search area and I'm so glad I did!
