That lady who we think owns the place was real fun to get to know and we all share the same common memories of Portland in the 90s. As with any shop like this i would think the selection of stuff is subjective and changes often. Today we were impressed by good amount of records, fun cassettes and some great old clothing with some advertising places long gone like the city nightclub. Looking forward to future visits here to waste a few hours.

The temperature in the back area was cold, compared to the main entrance which appeared to be warmer. If you know the significance of cold rooms regarding paranormal activity, you know what I'm talking about. There were a lot of interesting displays and fun things to read. They have everything from motivational/call to action buttons, kids toys, cute clothes, retro items, lovely hand creams, candles and soaps, to gag gifts, unique personality gifts, souvenirs, postcards from places you know and vintage photos of people you don't! The 80's teen in me gravitated to the oodles and oodles of small pins either a pic of a music icon, or a statement of personal belief. They also have a LOT of locally crafted items and I found a great pair of simple, cute, affordable earrings. Hubs picked up a few stickers and post cards. They sell furniture, beautiful glasses and bar supplies, and have a huge selection of vermouth from around the world. Wasn't even going to go in, there was a small sign that says PDX Vermouths and I assumed it would be Vermouth made here. My partner wanted to go inside so we did and kapow! wow! I was blown away by the mind boggling selection of vermouths and such. And... what a selection of beautiful bar ware varying in price but none cheap. A beautiful curated selection it is. Trent, Kabinett's purveyor was very friendly, such a bastion of knowledge and quite chill. They also carry some furniture pieces. Trent turned me on to a sweet vermouth for mixing that I wasn't not acquainted with and boy is it wonderful. I would say his prices seemed very fair.
