We visited Cabo for our nephew's wedding and planned to do some deep sea fishing. We had the fortune to have a skipper that, like us, wanted to go for a big fish since his last big catch was ten days prior. We venture out, and after more than two hours of uneventful activity, we catch a big fish, a marlin! After going through all the excitement of the catch, we asked the skipper for advice to take the fish to have them prepare it for us. Captain mentioned this place, and it was the right choice. We had all-you-can-eat marlin sashimi, rolls, fried, and the meal was delicious! I will recommend this place; our family and friends were happy with how the marlin turned out! One word....EXPENSIVE! Not Cabo prices. And check your bill! Good spot to people watch on the marina. Easy parking lot next door if needed. It was super hot last night, so maybe with cooler weather we would have liked it more. As any restaurant on the marina you have the employees urging folks to sit and eat.... not great if you're already there. But i get the deal. Food... Deb had sashimi which was spicy for her and my crunchy roll was huge and good. I'd stay rolls in warm weather. Tempura was good, shrimp was better cooked than everything but the onion rings which rocked. Wine list ok. There's plenty of places to chose from where your in Cabo. Plenty of Mexican restaurant to crave your satisfaction and then there's the occasional sushi restaurant here and there. Beside the main hot spot, Nobu you can randomly find places here and there. We didn't really know what we were craving and just wandered along the marina boardwalk. The tourist trap if you haven't seen one with everyone trying to entice you to their restaurant. Last place we walked by and just ended up going for it. It looked busy with people sitting outside along the boardwalk, but inside was pretty empty. There was live music from a restaurant 2 doors down which was nice. Menu, you do have your middle dish, sushi roll, poke bowl and so on. Sushi of course. What we ordered did the trick. The tempura which was a good amount. Loads of veggies and dipping sauce. Sushi combo, chief choice so you don't know what your getting and the poke bowl and a crab ceviche of sort. It did the trick for sushi. Overall, it was good. Not fantastic but did the trick. Service was good, everyone was friendly. It is a tourist trap as it's right on the boardwalk. read more

The food is certainly above average here, but the prices are expensive. I came here on the Cabo passport which is a credit card that for $90 get you two for one deals around town at about 20 good restaurants. The waiters will try to overcharge you and they ended up bringing out an extra roll that we didn't order with no apologies or offer to take it back. It's no different from any other place in Cabo that always tries to take advantage of dumb Americans so just make sure to double check your order. read more

By far the best sushi I've had in awhile Covid has taken away a lot of things for me. But when I was walking the boardwalk and saw sushi I wanted some. It overlooks the marina and we got a table right on the edge of inside. I order my normal tuna roll and spicy edamame. The tuna was so FRESH!! I wanted more and I ordered another roll. My husband like the edamame the sauce was so good. I kept dipping everything into it. Just a note that if you go out on a boat and catch something you can bring it here and they will cook / prepare it for you. I had an additional roll but I cannot remember the name of it. My family and I have been coming to Cabo for 20 years. We've had some spectacular food and countless restaurants. Arts and Sushi is absolutely one of the best. We let our server choose the dishes for us, which were all shareable amongst our group of 5. Everything was very delicious. The only thing I'd say if you do the same thing is, you have to tell your server to stop bringing food, because they will keep bringing it...Lol. It can get a little pricey if you don't stop them. I've been here several times and had previously recommended it to people visiting Cabo but will not do so again after todays visit. I've been looking forward to having a fresh Poke Bowl with the Tuna I caught myself in Cabo. Before sitting down I confirmed this was possible at this establishment, the server said it was. He took our fish , handed us menus then never returned to our table until an incredibly rude different gentlemen returned saying our food was ready. All four of us were confused cause we hadn't ordered anything. We said we had wanted to pick what was done with the fish and he said no, it's chefs choice and was incredibly disrespectful, asking who referred us there, saying we had no choice, etc. then my husband who had wanted to order something non-tuna from the menu said that he'd like to order which they said was fine and again didn't return, so he didn't end up getting anything to eat at all. The food was nothing we wanted or ordered. They never asked if we had any preferences, allergies, or if we were okay with getting "whatever". Among our family favorites are the Sushi Cakes with crab, the No Name Roll (the cilantro sauce is delicious), salmon nigiri, Serranito, and fried octopus. I could keep going, but then I'd basically be listing the entire menu. You can't go wrong with your order! Their staff is also amazing. Even on the busiest days, we get our food quickly, empty plates are cleared promptly, and there is always someone to able to refill drinks, add to our order, etc. As someone with severe food allergies, I also really appreciate the attentiveness and thoroughness of the staff when asking questions about specific ingredients in each dish. While there are many things I love about Cabo and wish I could take home with me, Arts and Sushi tops the list. Bill was $105 dollars for some very basic sushi rolls. Granted the location is def a tourist type of place. Expect to pay more than even a decent sushi shop in Los Angeles. The dragon roll was terrible. The seaweed Salad was decent. The manager got us in by offering 20% discount. And 15% gratuity is added automatically, which is odd. We had a great sushi lunch here , right in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the marina. Our service was excellent and the rolls were fresh. However, this is definitely on the pricier side of sushi in Cabo. We had the Cabo Passport which got us 2x1 rolls thankfully (each roll around ~$15). The part we were turned off by was the waiter asking us what drinks we wanted, and as we usually do, ordered a small hot house sake and a large Kirin to share. They didn't mention the price and we didn't notice it listed on the bottom of the menu until later. The small sake was $15 and the large Kirin was almost $15 ... $30 of our $73 lunch bill (including tip, 2 rolls with one free and a spicy edamame). Not Good.. 1) wrong nigiri, rolls and tempura dishes were brought out. Its like they ignored our order and cooked what they wanted. 2) why is there CURRY and oil in some of your rolls? gross (why isn't this advertised on menu) 3)when we tell you that nothing we ordered was correct, why are you fighting us, insisting it is? We've traveled enough and eaten sushi all over the world. Which brings me to my next point 4) The owner takes my credit card, and enters a 25% tip on the 100 whatever bill. When we finally spoke with the owner, it was no better. We've been to this sushi stop for years. After going this year I think it's fallen off a bit. The fish was good and fresh but I felt it lacked creativity. I also get like the service was annoyingly good so they could turn the table over which ruined my ability to relax. Won't be racing back there. Also, very, very expensive for what you get. read more
