Diagnosing the damages to my fan cover and testing the electric components on my water heater.
    Ken G.

Max came to help me with my RV water heater. He was very professional and even came a little bit early for our appointment which I was very lucky to have been able to make for the same day of my problem! That was definitely a stroke of luck. He came out to my van and diagnosed the problem fairly quickly within about 20 minutes he got it to start working again. He tested it for about another 20 minutes and discovered there was another issue with the water heater leaking small amounts of water from the pressure valve. So that probably saved me a huge expense down the road if that water would have started corroding things. Lastly I had a problem with my cover on one of my ventilation fans and he was nice enough to photograph them for me so I could present them to the manufacturer for warranty repairs. He also told me that if I wanted to replace the part that was stuck on my water heater, I would just have to pay the mobile visit fee and the $18 for the part not the entire diagnostic and mobile visit all over again which was nice to hear that if I was to follow through with the replacement of that part, he wouldn't charge me double. Overall they were very nice and answered all my questions as they were repairing the RV water heater. I will definitely use them again for all my RV repair needs and I highly recommend their services.

It had been a very busy year and I still had many demands on my time that were not related to the trip, and I was stressed. I asked them to do routine engine maintenance and to find out why the dashboard AC had stopped working. They did as I asked and found and fixed the problem with the AC right away. I wanted new tires plus a spare for the trip. Savio referred me to Ramon's and they did a wonderful job with the tires, including locating a rim for the spare. The Solis has no space for a spare. I ordered a mounted from Landed Gear and had it shipped to Leales and Leales followed the instructions for the installation so that the spare stayed put even when we drove the famously rough Alcan Highway there and back. The road is built on permafrost and its reputation has not been exaggerated - we encountered one car with two flat tires - but with good tires and slow driving, we never needed our spare. We also did not experience the problems I've read people have with other brands or improperly installed back door mounted spare tire racks: broken window or warping of the metal doors.

AVOID LEALE'S RV -- Misleading, Frustrating, and Unprofessional…read more I had a really frustrating experience with Leale's RV, particularly with Michael in their service department. I brought in my 2024 Thor motorhome for a battery-related issue. Michael incorrectly told me that my coach does not support Group 31 AGM batteries and insisted I would need to spend nearly $2,000 to upgrade to lithium. He was adamant, repeatedly citing his past experience working at Thor (from years ago) as the basis for his claims--even though the coach came from the factory with Group 31s. He had a condescending attitude and loves to talk on the phone explaining how experienced he was. Meanwhile, he keeps sending me photos of their posted $239/hr labor rate as if that justified the misdiagnosis or poor service, rather than addressing the actual issue. It felt like a deflection rather than a solution. Thankfully, Savio his manager was able to step in, confirm the unit was indeed compatible with Group 31 batteries, and help me get the right battery installed immediately. I bought the battery myself and dropped it off for a quick, proper install--something that should've happened from the beginning. Although I'm having to pay for the diagnostics even though they have the authorization from the manufacturer to cover the diagnostics! To make matters worse, I was told they wouldn't cash the reimbursement check from the manufacturer (Thor), but they cashed it anyway, leaving me out $700 and damaging my relationship with Thor. I had to chase down Thor myself for clarification and deal with the fallout. Despite talking to them on June 26 and then explaining that they closed the case and zero checks would be cashed. July 16 and Thor confirms the check was indeed cashed. This whole experience left me feeling deceived, ignored, and frustrated. Between the incorrect technical advice, the lack of accountability, and the poor communication, I cannot recommend Leale's RV to anyone looking for honest, competent service. I'm just glad that I did not pay for them to upgrade my batteries at $1,800 because the coach already supports lithium batteries.

One of my trucks broke down so i called this guy to see if he can assist me. the air bleeder valve broke off my air tank, so it wasn't holding air, So we needed a new one. Considering it was a road call i figured it'll be 200-300 at most for a $20 dollar part that should take 5 min to put on. he told me he'll be there in 45 mins. OfCourse, he showed up late and my driver even assist him out so he can get back on the road quicker. he didn't have the correct tools on hand and to top it off he didn't have the correct valve. he did state that the valve I needed for my truck was a dealer item. So we agreed on just putting a bolt to seal the air. After he was done i asked him for the total he told me $550.00. I told him that he's over charging for a job that he didn't have the correct tool or a simple part for that's not right at all. He told me he gave me a discount and he normally charge more. So with guys like this they like to take advantage of small owner opps he not there to help just there to over charged you. I ended paying him cause we wanted to get out of there. But i will never use this guy again.

Re-written to fix typos from autocorrect on my phone:…read more C&E Trucking is a family-owned auto repair shop that handles big trucks--and they're exceptional. I had a check engine light on my brand-new Ford E350 Motorhome. I initially returned the RV to Camping World, where I purchased it, but they told me it was a "Ford problem" and that they were backed up for months. I then tried Fremont Ford, Sunnyvale Ford, and Mission Ford, but none of them could figure out the issue, despite the Engine Code PO453 indicating an evap leak. I was also hesitant to take my motorhome to a non-Ford repair shop because of warranty concerns. As an RV owner, I couldn't in good conscience take my family on long trips with the check engine light on. At C&E's recommendation, I contacted Ford Warranties and was informed that only Fairfield Ford could work on my motorhome, but they were also backed up for months. Frustrated, I filed a claim to have the vehicle repaired at a non-Ford location, which led me to C&E Trucking. C&E correctly diagnosed the issue as a faulty evap sensor. Unfortunately, the sensor was tied to the fuel system, which required a more extensive repair. They completed the work, and after two years of driving with a check engine light, the problem was finally resolved. This experience taught me an important lesson: big corporations like Ford lack the "local, family-owned business touch" that makes a difference. Their large-scale operations and mass hiring practices often mean their mechanics aren't as skilled or attentive as those at smaller shops. In fact, even Ford employees couldn't direct me to the right place to get my vehicle fixed. C&E Trucking, on the other hand, exceeded all expectations. Liz and her father own the shop, and their dedication to quality service shines through in every interaction. You can feel the pride and care of a family-owned business in the way their employees operate. C&E is hands-down one of the best auto repair shops in the Bay Area. Highly recommend--5 stars!

Too many other good shops.
