We made an appointment ahead of time and as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely woman who spent good time explaining to us just how to safely work with glass, and not get cut or hurt in any way. The instructions are very in depth but necessary. When is was time to start the creative process, my granddaughter knew just what she wanted to create and loved selecting all the parts to make it just as she wanted. Start to finish was about 190 minutes, but it could be faster or slower, depending on how your creative juices flow. In the end she was thrilled with her project and we sprayed it to keep it in position for the transfer to the kilns. In 7-10 days I will return and pick up the final project. Our final cost for a 6" square art piece came to $40. We can't wait! The cost is not super cheap, but you know exactly what you are paying before you start. The supplies are endless and we plan to return for other activities as soon as possible. We saw entire families enjoying themselves, and this is a great activity to do with all ages, young children to adults. The options for art projects are: Paint Your Own Pottery, Glass Fusing, Acrylic Paint Projects and Board Art. The Clay Hand Building is now offered only in a class session. Stop in and take look. We decided on Christmas tree ornaments. Morgan got all our working tools and was very thorough in explaining how to cut the glass and told us if we needed any further help she would be happy to help. We then were able to create at our own will and speed. It was a Friday night at the end of the day and we were told to take our time and not feel rushed. You can order drinks to enjoy. The atmosphere was so comfortable and warm. You could paint or do pottery. So many things. I think we just started our new tradition to make a new ornament yearly. We had booked some open creating time. But you can register for any of the classes they offer as well. We will definitely be back. Everyone was helpful and kind. Can't say enough good things about the whole process from start to finish. Took about 7 days to have the project fired and ready for us to pick up. Our ornaments are beautiful on our tree.

I recently went to Arte in Wauwatosa for a canvas painting class and had an awesome experience…read more(this was my first), so when we booked a group night to paint wine glasses, I was expecting the same type of business. Friendly, funny, interactive, and most of all helpful. This experience was anything but that. We were with a group of 13 women, ranging from 22 to about 80 for an after wedding shower party. We all sat down, and the "instructor" had set out pictures of examples and told us to go ahead when we were ready. She gave us zero instruction. As we all thought we were going to be following a step by step, which would be great because 99% of us had never done this before and had no idea what we were doing. The instructor said if we need help to ask. She didn't walk around and offer suggestions, her and her other partner barely interacted with us. If I would have known this was going to be the case, I would have hosted the party in my living room and saved us all $35. When we sit down with freelance to do whatever we wanted, no help or instruction, it seemed pointless to be there. Sorry, but this was a joke of a business. I will definitely not be returning.

The bar service was very slow and no apology or anything for the 10 minute wait for a glass of wine. The food was okay but a little underdone on the tots. However, you could tell he was trying and hustling to get things out. The place felt warm and balmy and it just doesn't seem worth the prices they have to hang out here for more than an hour or two. I'm in no hurry to go back, but maybe would check out one of the other event nights and see if it's a bit less busy.

They were so busy that it felt like our group was an afterthought. We received basic instructions and then we were left on our own until we flagged someone down to tell them we were finished. Half of the epoxy cured in the cup so it was wasted. They didn't warn us this could happen. Instead of giving us more, they said they would fix it. Then, the our finished projects were atrocious! The hardware quality on the river boards was subpar. They used screws with little grooves making it questionably food safe. The wood was cracked on one of them. The coasters were uneven and incredibly thick making them unusable as coasters. The lazy Susan looked unfinished. The epoxy wasn't trimmed around the edges and the hardware is visible under the epoxy. So, we asked them to fix it and they kindly agreed. We received a refund for 2 of the coasters. Then, it took well over a month to receive the fixed products during which we had to follow up a few times. The final products are better-ish, but they are full of visible brush strokes of clear epoxy (apparently this is the solution to epoxy that cured before we could use it). All in all, we had a lot of fun together but the service is subpar and the products are not what I would expect for the price. I will not be back nor would I recommend Fisk as the destination for this experience.

Since we had international team members, some of the games were mostly centered around American culture, so it made for an interesting game! The game show host was really good!
