A05 gallery features work from a variety of artists in so many mediums. Dr. Seuss collection is one of their consistently highlighted pieces. In addition, they also have a Disney section. The key thing I like most about this art gallery is the uniqueness of the pieces - from African inspired pieces to Austin-centric pieces. There are works of art portrait-like to many items that are abstract, my personal favorite pieces of art. Today, I wanted to see if they had any lacquered pieces. The ones on display were of Marilyn Monroe and Madonna. Not sure I want to view these ladies every day... Smile. It was great to see Todd again, the manager of the store. He reminded me that they were open 7 days a week and that they had more pieces online. Todd is always so pleasant to talk to. Another joyful aspect of visiting A05 gallery is that you do not have any high-pressure salespeople putting you in a chokehold trying to sell you something. Some of their art pieces are quite pricey, and some very affordable. Net, net, I love frequenting this gallery.

We did a 12 person team bonding event here for my daughter's club volleyball team. It was perfect! The owner was kind and helpful throughout the process. We had the room that was part of the expansion and could bring in our own snacks. The girls picked the item of their choice to paint and then I picked them all up a few days later. I highly recommend supporting local and booking an event here!

It's a bit challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's incredibly fun and even a little therapeutic. The class was paced perfectly, so I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to practice. The atmosphere was another big plus. Everyone was friendly, and it felt more like a relaxed, creative hangout than a formal class. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It seems as though the other art rotates. Admission is free and their only request is that you sign the guest book with your zip code so they can track where visitors come from. The space is open late (until 8 pm) on Wednesdays, so it was an easy stop-by for me after work that day. There is ample free parking in downtown Round Rock that is convenient to the gallery space.

It's the kind of place where you can slowly wander around and keep noticing new details in each piece. I never made it to their original location, but this new space is big and spacious, which makes it easy to take everything in. It feels open, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out. After seeing everything, I'm definitely interested in coming back to try one of their workshops at some point. It seems like such a cool, hands-on experience.
