Oatmeal was great and had a delicious pecan mix on the side.

Obsessed with this hotel! If the model town in Beetlejuice had an Austin version, this hotel would be in it. It has a unique, Texas retro, mildly quirky Austin vibe, smack in the middle of the Domain shopping area. It's located across from Maggionos and Dillards but walkable to lots more. The office, rooms and toiletries smell wonderful! I purchased one of their room sprays this time. The AC work even on the hottest Texas days. Wonderful shower head and spacious shower. Rooms and bathrooms aren't crowded have always been remarkably clean with comfortable beds. I didn't eat at the restaurant this time but did order the cheese tray and room service. My room service arrived 12 minutes ahead of schedule and was cooked perfectly. I always fear it will be noisy with traffic and people within the courtyard but I am always pleasantly surprised. I have never had an interaction with the staff that wasn't above average. On this trip, I found Andrew especially helpful.

It's not too warm but the sun is just right to relax today

2025!!! I finally made it back - As I sit in my porch balcony rocking chair, it is 9:15 AM, it's beautiful out and I have to check out today. I really love this hotel. I love the rooms. I love the staff. I love the grounds, love what they've done here, this to me is a real vacation, a time to unwind and destress, the pool, outside bar, the fire pits, place to lounge. Food trucks in the parking lot, restaurant with live music, a great weekend getaway. Important facts, the fridge is stocked with beverages. These are chargeable. On the coffee table is a tub of snacks. These are chargeable. parking in the lot out front you have to pay for via an app. (I believe it's for the city not for the hotel.) I used the shampoo and conditioner and my hair is super dry right now, I don't know if it's from the product or from the water and just I know I have a lot of problems with my hair so I typically try to only use the products that I bring but every once in a while, I feel adventurous. There's a nice closet inside the room, there's a coffee maker and some coffee supplies in there. there's also an umbrella which came in handy and I was sure to return back to its natural state. It doesn't look like it's the newest so I don't want to get charged an exorbitant fee for using an umbrella one time. If you use the rear exit of the hotel when you drive out, circle all the way to the back drive all the way straight until you can't go anymore and then you hook a right there's a Cavender's boots and a Dairy Queen RESTAURANT. This might not seem interesting to people who live in Texas and have these things, but as a tourist, I was super excited . Additionally, staying here, a little outside of the downtown area, means that you are that much closer to Round Rock Donuts, which are in my opinion, the best. 20 minute drive to downtown. Con- no microwave in the room. Leftovers are eaten cold.

Repeat visitor I stayed at LSC last year and was back to Austin again this week. I live the potential, but this visit just fell short. On check in I noticed the toilet was running but figured I'd give it a few flushes to see if it stopped. It didn't. On night two I found a few cockroaches in the room so I called the front office and also mentioned the toilet. They told me they'd give me a room credit and fix the toilet. Day 3, toilet is still running. Got my email receipt after checkout, no room credit. Love the atmosphere and location of the property but it seems to need some better upkeeping for the rate charged.

Lone Star Court was such a fun and relaxing stay. The courtyard and pool area are beautiful and feel like a little oasis in the middle of the Domain. Staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet at night. Great location for walking to shops and restaurants--would definitely stay here again.

What a fine find! This is tucked in to The Domain area and you almost can walk right by it without knowing it's a hotel. We loved our stay (which was too short). We had 7 rooms booked for a quick family get-together. This was the perfect place for this. There are many outdoor seating areas and you can always pull the rockers (outside each room) for more outdoor seating. We were there on a Sunday night so it was quiet. Gas fire pits are lit at dusk and there are many wood fire pits around that could be lit when the weather and conditions allow. Check in was super easy (and make sure you ask for a complimentary Maine Root root beer). The rooms are spacious but have a minimalist vibe (maybe because of the concreate floors). I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MINI BAR LIKE THIS! It's a full retro fridge stocked with everything and anything you might want. The same is true of the snacks available. Complimentary coffee is available in the mornings in the restaurant area. This is a very dog friendly location! I would love to return to explore The Domain area more and to just to continue to veg. Parking was easy and there's one generic EV charger.

    Awesome signage.

The hotel is located on the skirts of an upscale mall (the Domain) but it's absolutely charming. I guess you could call it a "boutique" hotel, whatever that means. When you first check in, you get a free beer or a free root beer. That's right. After you check in, they offer you a free beer (Lone Star, sadly), root beer, or other beverage. That's super smart customer service. The room decor is retro funky and very cute. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and far nicer than you get in a chain hotel or motel. The room and bathroom are both spacious, as is the shower. The shower was, in fact, great. There's a full-size fridge in the room, stocked with booze, so don't take anything unless you are willing to pay. There are also snacks in a basket in the room, but they aren't free so word to the wise. There's a smallish swimming pool on the property although it wasn't heated during our visit and the water was really too cold to enjoy. They have a nice restaurant on site with live music on Friday and Saturday nights (check the online schedule). We really enjoyed the music. There are two rocking chairs outside each room door. Parking is free. Rates were reasonable. It's located about 20 minutes north of downtown Austin and I would absolutely stay here again. It's a unique, funky, comfortable hotel that is a far cry from the usual cookie cutter properties.

BEAUTIFUL property and funny its a busy location but doesn't feel like you're in the middle of the Domain once you check in. The grounds felt very private and a cute 50s/60s theme throughout. There's lots of trees which helps it feel quiet and almost like a camp cabin. The check in was seamless and friendly with free beer and water offered at the front desk. The service at the bar /restaurant was also top notch. The room was clean, spacious, and the fridge is stocked with everything you could think of for almost a full bar. The amenities are well maintained and plenty of towels available on either end of the pool.

    Seen better with a flash.

Lone Star court is a unique hotel/motel. I guess you would think motel because the doors open to the outside courtyard. The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very clean. Full mini bar and stocked fridge at somewhat reasonable prices. The decoration is cool but the one thing we hated about the place is the huge metal bed frames that dominate the room. They look harmless at first however the frames are larger than the mattresses and the heavy mattresses are attached against the headboard leaving the metal frame jutting out into the room. The steel frames dark color, in the dark room is an absolute trip hazard. Also just as bad is that the leg of the frame is right on the corner as opposed to 10-12 inches under the bed. I was walking by the bed toward the door and I clipped the frame with my shin. The steel frame broke the skin under my jeans and I fell and face planted on the mattress. WTF Didn't see that coming! Minutes later my wife almost tripped over it too. (No we weren't drunk, just checked in lol) We were only there for a night and didn't want to mess with moving, but sure as heck didn't want to hit that darn frame again, so we stuck the provided robes and towels over the corners and used the trash cans as a barrier to avoid tripping or breaking a toe during the night. Other than some drunk noisy neighbors that decided to have a loud conversation outside our door at 2 am everything else was fine. (They quickly went inside and were quiet after my wive opened the door and let them know it was 2am) Overall I gave an average rating because the place really does have potential, and the staff was super nice. Just please do something about the bed frames!

To admit- on my own, I probably wouldn't have picked this place since I usually stick to the brand hotels, so kudos to my daughter for claiming this hotel, with a glamping (no tent) vibe. Yes, think glammed up camping cabin. It feels kinda rustic but there's also comfy robes, a spacy bathroom & shower, a full-size, retro, stocked fridge, comfy beds and couch. There's no carpet, so cold feet could be a thing - always pack slippers! Outside, there's firepits to wind down after an evening out (pick-up a s'mores kit in the shop).  There's also a pool, but that didn't fit into my plans this trip. I was working while on this trip, and day 1 spent most of my work day in the restaurant. Because, during the day it's relatively empty, it's quiet, there's food & WiFi - and at 4pm, happy hour kicks off - what more could I ask for in a work-away-from-home arrangement? Late night, there's live music. It's located in The Domain, so convenient to lots of shopping & food, and just - space. This place is cozy, it's in a great location, and a bit quirky, in a fun way. I'll be looking for an excuse to go back

I've been DYING to go back ever sense. I don't think I can even explain to you how addictive and all consuming the joy of playing these games are. Bonus, it's for sure a work out. If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I was practically BEGGING them to give me a membership, but they don't do those... Yet? There was some discussion of some locations offering memberships as a trial run, and that it might become a thing nationwide. *fingers crossed* GO!

Loved the variety of room, didn't love the wait time that counted against your total time if you weren't in a room. Not sure how it would be possibly, but having your minutes tick away while you waited for the groups in front of you to finish with a room was irritating. Our family of five did have a boatload of fun though at 8, 11, 14 and 42. Lots of skills levels so it was good to be able to pick a variety of games. Note to anyone with shorter kids - maybe skip the basketball room as our 8 year old took a rebounding ball right to the face because he was the perfect height. Also, sometimes the rooms don't work. We wasted time in one room because it stopped working and we didn't know. It let us do two full rounds with literally nothing happening. They do fix them fairly quickly, but your time is gone already and you don't get it back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This would be great on a weekday where I assume the crowds are smaller. Would do again - we all came out sweaty and smiling.

A sleek bar lines one side of the space, while comfortable modern living room furniture occupies the center of the room. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between chic sophistication and laid-back fun, with clean architectural lines, modern décor, and dim lighting that creates an inviting ambiance. During our visit, we learned that the longtime bartender had recently moved on and been replaced by Sydney, who was absolutely delightful. When she discovered we were celebrating my friend's birthday, she rallied everyone at the bar and throughout the lounge area to sing "Happy Birthday." The gesture was unexpected, heartfelt, and instantly made the evening feel special. As fate would have it, another guest was celebrating a birthday as well, so the entire group enthusiastically sang for her too. The bar clearly has a loyal following, as several regulars were gathered throughout the evening...a testament to the welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. Syndey crafted custom cocktails for both my friend and me, working with only two instructions: tequila for her and vodka for me. The results were refreshing, creative, and expertly crafted. What could have been just another night out became a memorable birthday celebration thanks to the warmth, hospitality, and personal touches at W XYZ Bar. For that, I'm truly grateful.
