Huge! This mall is vast. I love the interior design especially the Egyptian displays. There is a good collection of stores here. Burlington Coat Factory, T.J. Maxx, Old Navy, etc. are some of my usual stops. They do not have a Macy's though. Once I looked all over the mall for Macy's only to find out it wasn't there. Be prepared to walk a lot and wear comfortable shoes. Prices are reasonable. My family and I have gotten some great deals here. Been shopping here since high school! read more

Gihugic outlet mall in Hanover, MD GREAT selection of stores. Great place to bring the kids to shop for back to school/college. We shop at the Costco and Bass Pro Shops regularly coming from our home in Annapolis. I am not a huge fan of large, outlet style malls but you CAN find good deals and it has a GREAT variety of stores. This place is whack. It's where people walk around after school with mediocre shops. I wasn't blown away, and it's not like they have these special shops. You've seen them all before. It's also attached/close to the very popular casino. I was in the area visiting, and this was the only thing nearby that seemed social. Then as I explored, I realized that all these places are the same stores in San Diego. Nothing special. I didn't want to purchase anything that would take up luggage space. I think this mall is overrated. The layout: one floor, the size of the mall: HUGE. I feel like this is more of a track, rather than a mall. You walk ages just to get from one store to another... if you're a shopaholic and trying to make a stop off at each and every store. I also find the store's to be lackluster and I've found better deals at actual retail stores than if they were a part of this mall. Would like to say that having the casino, the movie theater, Medieval Times and tons of restaurants is what makes this mall appealing. But it's also important to point out that there is so much crime at this mall because of the casino and the area it's located in. read more

The mall isn't that bad - everytime I come here, there's always good deals... but it's always crowded (then again it's a mall, what do you expect). However, Arundel Mills is way better than Potomac Mills. Food court is a lot bigger, the entrance for each store looks more inviting than Potomac Mills (aesthetically speaking), and I can find things I shop for. Also, they have a vans store which is a plus for me. Not to mention a huge theater, a Dave and Busters, and a Medieval Times... so there's a lot to do over there than Potomac Mills (they have IKEA and a chain of other stores around the area).. that's just my opinion. If you want to avoid the traffic on I-95S, either go at a good time, or check at Arundel Mills once.. read more

This mall has everything for everyone in my opinion. Stores and attractions for people of all ages. Nice and clean environment. They were renovating some parts of the food court at the time I visited so I can't really judge it at this time. But plenty of choices outside around the area and they have a Dave and Busters and Medieval Times, so you could also do that. Overall one of the best malls I have been to lately. Not good... Parking is abysmal, and because there is one road in and out you can expect to sit in line waiting to leave for a truly unreasonable amount of time. Once you are inside it's not bad, your basic mall really. The parking and infrastructure around the place just ruins it. Don't go here until they fix the problem. read more

During the week this is a pleasant mall to walk around in and shop. On the weekends it is crazy busy and not worth the trip. They have a good theater and fun restaurants. The parking is a bit nuts now that the casino is next door. read more

Favorite mall! I absolutely love Zumies, Tilly's, PacSun, Hot topic, Spencer's, Vans, Rue 21, Journey and Oakley Vault! All the workers are nice, cute and helpful! Plus their movie theater is amazing! The workers are so nice and the place is really clean. Buffalo Wild Wings is amazing, and so are the rest of the restaurants. Plus they have tones of kid areas. The mall is really long, wish they would have made it two stories instead of just one, but I love this mall. It's just amazing and perfect, better than the one where I use to live and in my opinion the best in Maryland. The parking is defiantly an issue due to the casino but its still a great mall! read more

I am so confused with the 5-star reviews on here. I have been shopping at this mall since it opened. Over the years, it's gone further and further downhill. I actually will drive further away to go to the same stores that are here (even though this mall is 15 minutes from my house) because I can't stand it. The good: The "outlets" in the mall range from great to not-so-much. If I were judging based on variety of stores alone, I would give 5 stars. There are some cool stores like the Last Call and Off Saks 5th Ave. The mall is really big and you can get a great workout walking around.. Especially if you are carrying lots of bags. Watch out for wheelchairs and motor scooters! You can get run over if you arent careful. The movie theater is huge! Good variety of restaurants. The bad: *Too many people. This mall gets crazy on the weekends and holidays. Walking around is a chore. Forget about trying to find a table at the food court. You want to get movie theater tickets? Wait in line for a while because the kiosk probably isn't working. You need to get there at least a half an hour early to get a good seat. All of the surrounding buildup to the mall just makes it even worse. Too many stores and things going on in such a tiny area. *The crime. I actually am nervous to go here alone during any time of day. It wasn't always like that, but I definitely wouldn't be here past 5 or 6. *The traffic. Driving around this place takes forever. People cut you off and practically side-swipe your car to get around. This development has caused major traffic problems for the highways nearby. *The parking. There is NOT enough parking. On Saturday we drove around for 20 minutes and then left because we couldn't get a spot. One night, we were an hour early for a movie and spent the entire time driving around looking for a spot. I had to eventually cancel my tickets because we missed the showtime. The mall used to only have valet parking in front of the movie theater and only on weekend nights. Now, they've blocked off more spots and made it during the day too.. All to make a quick buck and rip off the customers. It's even worse because of the casino. There is less parking now because of construction and when it's finished, I am sure parking won't be any better because more people will be there because of the casino. It's really not worth the headache. Something needs to be done to fix their driving and parking issues.. It's a nightmare right now. Go to Annapolis mall for regular shopping or Queenstown outlets for similar selections. No stress and a better environment all around. read more

What once started out as an "Outlet Mall" to compete as Maryland's Potomac MIlls...has now become a huge shopping complex. It's like a supermall...the only thing is parking and driving around this beast is annoying---the mall outgrew its land and people around here drive like morons and lemmings. read more

This is a fantastic mall. Has great stores and restraunts. Pretty much everything I look for in a mall. The only draw back is walking with my wife she wants to look at everything, but just go by Orange Julius and get a smoothy so you have something tasty while you are walking around. read more

My family of 5 has the executive membership where you earn 5% back on purchases. So we make sure to shop at Costco for all purchases, and last year we got a rebate of $150. The produce and meats are always fresh as well as the delicious cheese that they sell. For my family it just make more sense to shop at Costco than Walmart or safeway. read more

I just had one of the worst experiences at the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover MD. Can I say that a Saturday evening is one of the worst time to go to this place if you are just trying to get in and out. It is absolutely wretched! Placed an order for to go and all I did was wanting to do a simple pick up. Unfortunately they just don't want people to just shop, eat and gamble. They tend to have "events" like a horrible talent show/search where people have the completely unrealistic aspect to think they are going to be the next Jay-Z, Heidi Klum or Katy Perry. The sound was extremely loud and over bearing and the person inside the mall restaurant couldn't hear me or me hear them. This is typical of this mall as they tend to want to fill up every space and moment with sound. As Chili reconstructed my order for me and my co-workers (who were waiting back at the office), that booming noise from the "talent search" was making me nauseous, sweat and shake uncontrollably because the noise level was so loud that it hurt. I will NEVER go back there on a Friday or Saturday ever again. Ever. There is no one in charge, it was just unrelenting chaos. The other days are much better, but this mall is slowly spiralling out of control to madness! read more

This is a GREAT mall with a good variety of store selection...but BEWARE of carts or kiosks(?) vendors. They frequently will not refund or exchange merchandise and are unscrupulous liars to push merchandise they will not stand behind. Case in point, my son purchased a small toy from a vendor outside of the LEGO store and the product did not perform as described (those plastic water-filled stick-to-the-wall things) and was leaking by the time we got home. When I tried to return this item, I was told no refunds. They wouldn't even exchange the product for a new one. My bad, I guess I made the mistake to buy their toys. BUT what really got me (and my son) is how they blatantly lied to us about how the product would last over a month and that we didn't buy it from him--which is an outright fib. This toy vendor (to children no less) went so far as to claim that he remembers all his customers and we weren't one of them. To get rid of us, he even threatened to call security--Nice customer service. IN THE END, those kiosks vendors aren't cheap, so save yourself the anguish and purchase toys from a reputable retail store in the mall. Caveat emptor!! read more

I like the shopping inside the mall itself, but I hate trying to find parking here. When I come here again, I'll try to go on a weekday in the fall or winter. The mall has a good amount of stores and outlets, as well as entertainment and food options. I've been to Medieval Times which was a lot of fun. I love the Mills. It's definitely become a staple in the area. I'm not sure it's lived up to the hype that surrounded it when it first opened though. It's a huge mall with tons of parking (including valet). EATS - There are many restaurants, food stands, and a food court. A big selection so no real complaints here. Chili's, Sbarro, Auntie Anne's... It's pretty standard stuff. SHOPS - AM is called an "outlet" mall. Yet, the store prices do not differ from regular, other mall same store prices. I don't really get it. I guess because there's a wide variety of stores that sell stuff you don't normally see in a mall; like a Nine West store. I'm not sure. But the prices are all just about what you'd see anywhere else. ATMOSPHERE - Around the holidays this place gets BUSY. I would recommend going on off-hours (early morning, later at night) if possible. Last year there were many reports of people being robbed in the parking lots. Pretty sad. Alas, I still was there frequently on my lunch break or to shop. I was always safe. Just lucky I guess. I think it could be cleaner. It just doesn't seem like the upkeep has been up kept! From time to time there are creepy people lurking. One time someone asked for change in a store. Then there might be a strange dude just kind of wandering. Some people walk the Mills for exercise, but this guy doesn't really look like he's doing that; wandering slowly, without shopping bags. Who knows, maybe I'm just paranoid. But really, that's infrequent and shouldn't deter you from going. It's a nice place and they have security. I love the girls clothes stores like Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, Papaya, etc. I am drawn in and forced to spend my money! Terrible! :) ATTRACTIONS: Muvico (now Cinemark Egyptian 24) is a state of the art theater, I suggest here over anywhere else to see one if you're in the area. Massive, awesome looking theater with tons of selections. Check it out! Dave & Busters is fun for interactive video games and to have a couple beverages. The food is decent. Nothing to write home about, but if you have some extra $ and are looking to get a little silly with some friends check out D&B. They even have a bowling alley in there (with a bar!). Overall, it's a nice mall and definitely worth exploring. read more

I am LITERALLY BLOWN AWAY. Don't you hate when people say LITERALLY when it clearly doesn't make sense!?? Well, I don't care because I am. This place is ginormous and awesome. It kind of feels like an amusement park, or maybe I just felt that way after running around all morning with a two year old. Either way, we both had a great time. I wanted to do a lot more shopping but the little nugget was slowing me down. Just an incredible amount of stores: kids stores, places to eat, BARS, a movie theater, salons, furniture stores. I'd venture to say you could pretty much find anything you EVER wanted in this crazy, crazy place. There was also all kinds of stuff for the little one to climb on which made it way more fun for her. Grew up with Arundel Mills Mall since it first started construction back in the day, you can call it sentimental attachment. I guess if you go at the right time, it's a stop worth making when people are in town and want to tour the area for the first time. I have been here a few times! Easy access. Its near the airport and I have spent time here before a flight to get the legs moving before a cross country flight. My go to stores are the Best Buy, Foot Locker, and the Nike Factory. Its spacious and plenty of room. There is ample parking. read more

I have been going to this outlet mall since an year and I am never disappointed with deals. It is well maintained and always clean.

There seems to be an increasing criminal element at this mall. There's little to no security at this mall. I've seen young teens in groups shoplifting in the open. I've also seen young teens try to steal fountain drinks at the food court. It was an OK mall, but the petty crime and horrible parking make me stay away from this mall. read more

A little difficult to maneuver IMO because of the circle layout. They could deffff use more maps scattered around the mall because I got lost quite a few times. Good selection of stores. Apparently this mall houses a bomb-diggity movie theater but I didn't get a chance to check it out. I walked in and felt like I was in shopping heaven! Reminds me of Discover Mills Mall here in Metro Atlanta, so many stores so little time!

Went here to check it out since I was nearby. It was extremely crowded. It took me at least 20 minutes just to find parking. There was a different range of stores...I didn't find any good deals though. The stores that looked "cheap" were actually more expensive than I thought it would have been. The food court looked decent. I guess the biggest thing was there was not a particular flow of this mall. There was a huge range whether you're looking for a sexy body con type dress or a motherly Loft cardigan. read more

I really like this mall! It's pretty big and has a wide variety of stores and restaurants. They have a Dave & Busters and Mid-evil times which are both a lot of fun. The parking wasn't bad any of the times that I have gone. We always park at Bass pro shops for some reason and there's usually a lot of spots in the front. My only complaint is that the place is one story. So if you want to get to a store, you have to walk around the whole mall pretty much to get to it. read more
