This mall has upgraded the food court and it is better than ever. Finally has a Ralph Lauren Polo Store! I use to live in the area of this mall a few years ago and it has up graded a great deal. Casino, restaurants, great shopping options and now with the hotel being available its even better. Very busy mall on the weekends and around the holiday time. Whatever you do go straight to the parking garage attached to the casino on weekends! If you don't you will find yourself driving around this mall parking lot for at least 30 minutes before finding a space. I now live about 45 mins from this mall without traffic and don't mind traveling to come to this outlet mall at all. read more

I wish I could love this mall, but I cant. When I first moved to MD and was unemployed, I would come here during the week and it was OK. Then I got a job (ugh...lol). The first time I went here on a weekend, that was it. You've got to be ready to shank a mofo just for a parking spot, and if you're lucky enough to find one, try not to get robbed/car jacked walking into the mall. This place is NOT safe. Droves of thieves come here from the city to get their steal on. Be safe and head to the Annapolis Mall instead. During the holidays, I don't even drive in the vicinity of this place. I always stop by Arundel Mills when visiting the DMV (DC, MD, & VA- Northern for out of towners) area. This is one of my favorite malls. There's a great selection of stores for customers. Stores range from high-end to normal department stores. The food court has a variety of food spots to fulfill your hunger. It's chain restaurants around the mall as well for those who don't want food court meals. Live Casino and Dave & Busters is attached to the mall. Arundel Mills is well maintained and clean inside. There plenty of parking surrounding the mall and a parking deck. Arundel Mills is a great choice for shopping. read more

I thought the reviews about parking were exaggerations. They're not. My four year old sat in the back of the car like a sedated angel for the 45 minute drive today because I promised her that we would go to Dave and Busters. We rode around the mall parking lot for 25 minutes looking for a space before she finally begged me to go home and let her play with my iPhone. I've never seen anything like that at a mall. Not during Christmas. Not on Black Friday. I'm not going back. read more

If I could give zero stars to an establishment, I would. This is not a safe place-- thieves broke into my car and stole my computer as I shopped. Mall security hasn't helped me. Casino security hasn't helped me. And it turns out that this happens a lot. Stores and cars are broken into on a regular basis. Do yourself and your belongings a favor and stay far away. read more

This place is literally my equivalent of the bowels of hell. My husband and I live nearby and have run to here a couple of times out of sheer lack of time or desperation. First and foremost, the place is not safe. Cars are broken in to reliably, large groups of teens congregate and love to yell obscenities at women, etc. The casino being next door gives the added bonus of drunks occasionally being passed out in various fun places (you could play a Where's Waldo grown-up version and see where you spot 'em) or creating a scene as one did while I was in line in the food court b/c he was angry his wife didn't order him fries. The stores are largely outlets and I think actual outlet centers are in general nicer, cleaner, and have better deals than what I found here. The movie theatre is fine and I know kids like the Medieval Times. Parking is atrocious. Depending on the day and time of day you may have to park near the theatre and walk to the doors that are in front. read more

The last time I was here I swore I wouldn't come back, but unfortunately I broke that promise to myself today. It's overrated, crowded, and parking is a bitch. I do prefer the indoor outlet mall over an outdoor one, but most of the outdoor ones I frequent have better stores and a better variety of merchandise inside said stores. I do agree the setup is better than most Mills malls. I did find some good deals (like $20 Tommy Hilfiger polos) but I'd almost rather pay more and not deal with all the people in this place. I definitely agree with the Yelper who said not to come here expecting a nice mall experience. And if you come here at Christmas time, you should be willing to fight for everything... from a parking spot to whatever item you're eyeing. Fun times... read more

This mall is ok, its always over crowded to me, unless u come at exactly the time it opens then you are fine. Parking sucks here unless you like to park the farthest you are fine...lol, If not Valet is an option. One wing of the mall seemed to be underconstuction & looks like they are making changes to the food court. This mall is huge, so you should find something here, oh and wear comfy shoes. read more

If your situation is anywhere within 10 miles of Iverson Mall, Forestville Mall, Or The Mall At Prince Georges (P.G. Plaza) then be honest with yourself Arundel Mills is a upgrade indeed. I have been coming here for years, and have yet to see a fight break out. I don't fear for my life or have to ride 50 deep just to go get the new John Madden or some J's, and I don't have to worry about getting robbed in some suspect over pass that leads to the metro. Now i will say that it would be nicer if Arundel Mills smelled like fresh baked cookies inside, and Bojangles chicken in the parking lot, but it's got a casino on site, and I've only been approached once in all my time there to purchase a mixtape from some random local rapper. Don't get it twisted, I don't mind going to any of the malls i have mentioned, But the majority of people not living inside of P.G. County are not driving past Arundel Mills to shop at a mall in District Heights. Arundel Mills is a destination mall, meaning that people from all over come there to shop, eat or whatever. Parking is horrible, but you cant really blame that on a lack of parking spots. The food court is kind of average, but there are so many places to eat within 5 miles of the mall it's ridiculous. Overall there is probably only so many times you can go to this mall before the novelty wears off, but where else are you really going to go...Annapolis? St. Charles? Glen Burnie? If you don't like this mall then you will hate any of the other ones. Arundel Mills wins by default. read more

I haven't been to Arundel Mills Mall in years. I moved out of state and it has been about 8 years since I've been here. They really have stepped their game up. There was a nice variety of stores and parking was fairly simple. Next time I'll have to check out the Casino. read more

When Arundel Mills Mall opened in 2000, I remember being in school and people kept telling me how great the Arundel Mills was. I really didn't care: I had Towson Town Mall. Years later, people still kept coming up to me raving about how this mall was like the greatest thing since the George Foreman Grill. I did, finally, manage to come to Arundel Mills Mall since I was close in the area. Just like previous Yelpers have mentioned, Arundel Mills is pretty big. As a matter of fact, the mall kind of reminds me of Dolphin Mall in Miami, FL: a big doughnut. It took me some time to maneuver around and search for clothing stores. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including Sbarro, Chili's Too (Chili's To Go), Chevys, Johnny Rockets, and Great Steak & Potato Company just to name a few. I've only been to one of the restaurants, but places like Chevys seems to be pretty busy on the weekends. In any case, you should be able to find at least one place to munch on some good food while you walk through the mall. Oh, and parking is a hassle most of the time, but you should already know this. It's free and it's a mall. Just don't be the one doing 55 in a congested parking lot; those mall cops are out there waiting for you. I know that a lot of people, especially kids, love the train that runs through the mall on occasion. Honestly, I hate it; especially for the fact that I was nearly ran over by the train, twice. It is what it is. Don't forget about Dave & Busters, Medieval Times, and Cinemark Egyptian 24 that are connected to this establishment. I do expect in the future for Arundel Mills Mall to attract more patrons (for better or worse) due to the recently-approved slots parlor that will be built near the mall. Let's see how Arundel Mills holds up. read more

I remember coming here maybe 7+ years ago, then it was just a lonely island of an outlet mall with a Medieval times. Now it's grown, it's ginormous! There's an Olive Garden, Wendy's, Chick Fil'A, Cheesecake Factory, and all the great restaurant chains surrounding the island. A huge movie theater is inside along with a Dave & Busters. I found some great sales on July 4th weekend. The bonus was it was nice and cool because it was sooo hot out! Also directly across from the food court, is a new Casino called Maryland Live! Um..talk about having something for everyone. Husbands this is your calling, go gamble while the wives shop. read more

Fair to middlin' outlet mall. Parking can be a bit of a circus but we found covered parking in the casino with no problems. The mall is a typical mills circular layout. I found the selection of stores okay--pretty much the usual suspects but as other reviewers mentioned there is an underlying sketchiness to this place that was a turn off. read more

I am from out of town (VA Beach) and came here while waiting for my friend to get in from her flight from BWI since it's so close by. I figured it would be great to kill some time and maybe some money. Wrong. This place is beyond sketchy. I saw multiple groups of people just lurking in the corners of the stores and closed off areas of the mall. I felt like even the lighting in the mall was very dim, and felt kind of gloomy. The selection of stores is great but I feel as if their inventory is outdated (not including the outlet stores I know their stuff is "past season"). I didn't stay too long because honestly I was a little worried about my safety. I went around 3:30 pm on a Tuesday so I would hate to see what it's like at night. Parking wasn't too bad but honestly just save your time and go to Columbia mall or even further north to Towson Town Center. read more

I have to agree with Jade R. that Arundel Mills' layout is much better than Potomac Mills. For overall shopping, though, I'm sticking with Potomac Mills. The deals and selection at Last Call Neiman Marcus are nowhere close to those at Nordstrom Rack at Potomac Mills. Like many outlet stores, watch out for lower quality to go along with those lower prices (ahem, Banana Republic outlet). Also some stores, like Ann Taylor Loft, aren't even outlet stores. read more

I have shopped at Simon malls all over the country (mostly at Franklin Mills in Philadelphia though) and I have to say that although this one's pyramid/egyptian theme is pretty cool, the mall overall was smaller than I'm used to, and lacking. The restaurants were good and conveniently located on a positive note. Did not seem like much of an outlet mall as far as prices go. Parking was pretty crowded. read more

This place used to be 4 stars... Before the casino, back when they had Jillians and before every crappy chain restaurant known to man popped up around it. Parking and traffic during the weekend is like Manhattan on a friday night. Ive personally witnessed a woman get her purse stolen in the parking lot. This mall is not a safe place on the weekend, you should be aware of your surroundings at all times....and bring some pepper spray/taser. The stores are nothing special and the food court offerings are bland and more expensive then you would find up the road. We are local and usually go to columbia/annapolis mall. That casino really ruined this area....damn shame. read more

Great mall! It now has all my favorite stores. I can shop for myself, baby and hubby all in one place! It's also surrounded by many more great shopping centers and restaurants! A great variety of different food options within the mall and outside of it. We also come to the movie theatre here, which is pretty decent. It's clean and not noisy. There's a casino and Dave & Buster's! This place pretty much has everything! Low end to high end! Love it! read more

We visit Maryland often and we generally stay in Hannover and at the Residence Inn across from Arundel Mills Mall. Great to spend a day walking the shops, clean and friendly. Plenty of things to do, eat, drink, shop and watch a movie or Med Evil Times Show. They now also have a casio, haven't tried this out yet but will on next visit. Well worth the visit and since it is close to hotels you can run in and out whenever you like. read more

If you want name brands for a fraction of the cost this is considered an outlet mall. Customer service is not consistent throughout however and on the weekends it's even worse. No parking late night or on weekends since the casino is so close by. The stars are for the value only. read more

Despite having lived in Maryland for six years, I only managed to visit Arundel Mills once. All I can say is, it may well be the most impressive single-story mall I have ever been to, and that one visit was quite an experience! Filled with a variety of shops, to a first-time visitor it seems there is always another surprise around the corner, whether it is the Medieval Times restaurant/theater connected directly to the mall or the also-mall-attached enormous Egyptian-themed cinema (the most profitable, I believe, in the country) this is a huge circular mall as much shopping destination as entertainment destination--and I think it excels in both roles. Very colorful and filled with shops catering to practically every conceivable age and price range. read more

It's a mall, much like Potomac Mills or the other Mills malls I've been to. I swear other than the 29 theater movies and the Chevy's it's exactly like Potomac. Oh no I take it back, it's cleaner than Potomac Mills with fewer teenagers, but it's possible it was just today. It was ok, but honestly I didn't think it was any better than shopping local. It had "sales" which was the regular racket of the store marking the items up, so that they can then post "sale stickers" to make you think that this $30 black t-shirt was a steal at $9.99. When you face the fact that it's a black t-shirt, and if you cut out the tag no one will know whether you got it at Anne Taylor or Target, then $9.99 is the actual price, I mean who buys a $30 t-shirt. read more

Mall security is super rude, and the place is way too crowded. I type this as I am stuck on the parking structure top level in SNOW, because it is way too crowded. This mall pretends to be an outlet mall, but the prices are exhorbitant. Parking is nearly impossible to obtain. The only store that I purchased anything from was the Eddie Bauer Outlet, they actually have a decent outlet store at that location. I found a BCBG shirt on "sale" for $197 at the BCBG outlet. It caught my attention since I bought the exact same shirt for $35 at a TJ Maxx while vacationing in Florida. I highly recommend visiting legitimate stores at different locations since this location is overcrowded, overpriced, and hard to navigate. I greatly prefer the outlet on the other side of the bay bridge for securing bargain merchandise. My husband wants to check out the casino so we can review it, even though we are not the gambling types. read more

I believe this place holds a world record for the number of shoe stores in one place. It must also hold the record for the least amount of parking per square foot of shopping space. Awesome place to go if you need your car broken into or if it's been a while since you've been mugged. This place really keeps the Anne Arundel County Police on their toes. If you absolutely must get something from here go right when they open on a weekday. At that time their typical customer is still asleep, and the thieves are tired from robbing the casino patrons all night. read more

This review is for the mother baby comfort station. Best idea ever! Super comfy gliders, magazines and a changing table. There is definitely room for a couple of adults and a couple of kids. Nursing or bottle feeding this was a quiet clean environment to do it in. I don't know if there's more than one, but this one was near the food court. If there isn't more than one, they should totally put one in on the other side of the mall! Currently half the food court is under construction, hoping it's completed soon! read more

As far as outlet malls go, this is decent at best. I've been to Potomac Mills in Virginia and Sawgrass Mills in Florida, and this place comes in a distant third. If you don't feel like going into Baltimore and getting robbed, Arundel Mills is a good choice. The Muvico movie theater is pretty nice. They have all the stores one would expect at an outlet mall and during holidays, they have some pretty sweet sales. read more

Parking is always a nightmare here, but at least now with the casino there's a parking garage you are guaranteed to find at least one corner spot on the roof waiting for you. This Mall is Great for me. Having just Recently Retired, I need to still get in my steps each day. So I don't mind having to park far away sometimes , due to the heavy traffic an hectic parking at the Mall mainly on the Weekends. This place is a Great way to unwind an spend part of your day Shopping or just eating out at a Restaurant inside the Mall or outside the Mall. There are plenty of great places to eat an dine at. There's also an extremely large Movie theater ,and a Dave an Busters that I frequently visit. read more

This place is a bit overrated. It's not the best outlet. It is difficult to navigate. Many of the stores sell products made for the outlet so you're not getting the same product you'd have found in the main stores a season or three beforehand. read more
