This mall is OK. The only thing we tend to go for is the Bass Pro Outdoor Store. The Talbots is an Outlet and carries a lower quality of clothing than their regular stores. BTW almost any outlet store is selling a lower quality of product than their main store. Most of the stuff is bought for the outlet and not transferred from a regular store. As an example you might get a shirt with two rows of stitching at a regular store and one at the outlet - looks the same, different shirt. The only real 'outlet' I'm aware of is Nordstrom Rack which sells stuff from their main stores - change of seasons, odd sizes, low inventory, and such. read more

This mall used to be better. The last time I was here it seemed they were renovating and many stores were closed or out of business. I'm not sure what's going on but I haven't felt inclined to spend an afternoon here in some time which is likely for the best, anyhow. Nice indoor mall located near Live! Casino. Easy access from the interstate when traveling north or south. There's lots of walking for those who may want to get the steps in for the day or for those who may not be able to do a lot of walking. There's a wide variety of stores. There's a small food court inside as well as various places such as Jamba Juice as well as some other places to get a snack or meal. There's a wide variety of stores that include anything from clothing, shoes, etc. There's also various vendor stands. Clarke's, Footlocker, Finish Line, H&M, Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx, Victoria Secret, Rack Room, Skechers, Crocs, Merrell, Bass Pro Shops, etc. I would have liked to see more food options inside the mall, but there are other food options outside of the mall such as McDonald's, Chick Fil A, Wendy's, Starbucks, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc. There's also a Costco outside of the mall. I'd definitely recommend this mall if you live in the area or you are traveling and need to get something or just want a break from traveling. While it is January and heat is necessary, I found this mall to be extremely hot. I had on a long sleeve shirt, pants, and a lightweight jacket. It was so hot that I felt sick. I'd recommend shorts and t-shirt if you get hot easily when coming here during the winter months. Hopefully, it's not frigid during the summer months. This is so close to where we live. So convenient but does create traffic issues, especially since the area has so many restaurants and shops on location or nearby. The casino definitely draws a great crowd. Bus loads! Often we hear about crimes there mainly because the casino seems to draw a certain crowd, I hear. The complaint I have about it is mainly the traffic, lack of parking, and the mass of people. We love all the bargains we can find in the shops, though. Great to be able to get there just in minutes (not on weekends and holidays) and buy last minute gifts. We especially like the Egyptian Theater. Great for evening or a weekend movie treat. read more

Arundel Mills is an outlet mall located in Hanover MD, It is located across the Maryland live casino. This place is huge!!! How huge you may ask??? Well let me tell you. It's like a huge oval similar to a race track. As you can see I entered at the food court entrance which is located directly across the casino entrance. Parking is uncovered but located around the entire mall. However the casino has a covered parking garage. This mall is all indoors and air conditioned. In the middle section, are all stores from Nike town to coach to various perfume stores, Oakley and many many other stores. The outer stores are stores like you would find at other outlet malls. But I told you this place is huge and what I mean by that is there is a Best Buy, TJ max, a movie theater, Dave and busters, bass pro store and even several restaurants all located within this place. I don't come here often so when I do I make an half day out of it. I always try to leave here before it gets too late/dark or at least have all my bags in the trunk and hidden away before then just to be safe. I like to fuel up at either DuClaws or Chevy's and shopping with a slight buzz can be fun but dangerous. Better have a good shopping buddy with you! Semi annual sales are the best especially in June/July. Winter semi annual sales are okay. This big circle of a mall is full of store options that label themselves as outlets for some reason. I specifically went to Arundel Mills today to get a Champion sweat suit. I've been seeing them around and I think they are cute. I left with a lot more than I thought I would, but I'm happy I got everything on my list checked off. The Champion outlet took me a minute to find because it's not that big of a store. And when I did find it, I was disappointed. It has little to nothing to offer. Champion sweatsuit I ended up getting was from Against All Odds, which opened a few weeks ago. I hate trying to find parking at this mall, but the inside is full of things to do and places to shop. The worst time to go to this mall is the holiday season. They actually have great deals and discounts (many stores had bogo today) but if you're not a crowd person, avoid this mall at all costs. read more

This mall is big. I'm a fitness walker and need to get 5 miles each day to keep up with my routine. If the weather is bad, I venture over to this mall to get my steps. If you don't go in any stores, the walk around the mall is about 2/3 mile. There is only one floor, so no worries about passing a store. The center hallway is a short cut in case you don't want to walk the entire perimeter, but offers no additional store in it. It seems to be bigger than that, but my pedometer doesn't lie. They call it an outlet mall. Please. A majority of the store has products in here that you can find in any mall with about the same price. Give me a break. Now I found some items cheaper than the normal retail stores, but not really. If you don't have that expectations, then this mall is ok. Parking lot is huge, but doesn't seem big enough. I found myself searching for a spot many times. The food court is among the biggest I've seen in a mall, but remember it's mall food. There are a few restaurants attached to the mall and in the parking lots that give you more edible options. There are several aggressive kiosk vendors. I feel like flipping the bird to them, but I ignore them as much as I can. The casino makes parking even harder. They added a huge garage, but that doesn't seem to help. Definitely a lot of stores. I grew up in Woodbridge, and my first job was in Potomac Mills, so I was already familiar with the concept... but visiting Arundel Mills Mall for the first time blew me away! It's HUGE and puts my beloved Potomac Mills to shame.They have it divided into neighborhoods, so everything is easy to find and mapped out. Everything here is bright, shiny, big and in your face. I could see it overwhelming you on your first time as there is just so much to look at. I remember the parking situation being kind of grim once upon a time, but now that they have built Maryland Live and the adjacent parking deck, they seem to have that under control. I may not get out that way all that often, but I really like Arundel Mills. read more

I enjoyed my visit to this mall/casino area. It was VERY crowded last night. Like WOAH. The traffic was absolutely terrible around this little circle of shops and such that lead to the casino. People were doing crazy things and pulling out into the roads in front of other people and such... The mall is huge with tons of stores and outlets as well as a giant movie theater and a bunch of dining options. There were several places I've never heard of before that I want to try and eat at if I ever come back including a Mexican restaurant near the movie theater that smelled really good. read more

Probably the best "mall option" to take family and friends from out of town to impress them. Arundel Mills is very big, has a casino and a quirky design layout. For a local like me though, AM is really nothing special. I like it, but I don't love it. First off, parking is unconstitutional and people will attack for a space. On average, you'll spend about 45 minutes looking for a place to park. If you're coming here for a "quick mall run" and desire to park close to a particular store, it won't happen. Luckily, since the casino has been built, a garage has as well, and you can usually park there without issue (~less than 5min to find a spot). You'll just have to walk a little farther to get inside of the mall. Store options are pretty diverse, but still manage to lack somehow. My favorite stores are here (H&M, Forever 21, Victoria's Secret) but somehow the options at AM don't excite me. It always seems like their inventory isn't up to date. Additionally, the food court here isn't that hot. Subway, Sbarro, Popeyes, four or five Chinese places selling the EXACT same food for different prices...you're better off going to a restaurant in the surrounding area (of which they are plenty). Healthy options are few and far between. AM is a cool mall, but nothing worth traveling far to come to. read more

Arundel Mills is a outlet mall, with all the trappings that come with it. It's a very nice one and has some interesting stuff, but it's still an outlet mall. For the uninitiated, outlet malls target bargain shoppers. Established brands come in with older/poor-selling/cheaper-quality clothing and sell it at a perceived discount, but they still make money. There's nothing wrong with this at all - hell, cheap quality Coach bags are still going to be pretty amazing for what they are - but there's a lot of showmanship about pricing that's simply deceptive. Arundel Mills itself is nice. Clean, freaking HUGE, and filled with virtually every type of store you could want. Some stores (the Neiman Marcus equivalent, for example) feel trashy and a bit overcrowded, while others (J.Crew, etc.) feel a bit better. Imagine the Maryland version of Tyson's Corner - nice, maybe a bit more down-to-earth, and definitely more oriented towards ordinary people. All in all, this is not a bad place to shop - just prepare to search through a lot of racks of junk and weave through a lot of people. read more

Huge, large variety of stores, but the needed maps are far between and when I left after most of the stores were closed (see Du Claw Brewery review) no normal exits were to be found. I had to use an "emergency" exit and follow a winding corridor to the parking lot. And I found the wallet I was looking for at a kiosk rather than any of the stores. Probably would have gone for three *** but the men's room smelled like the rhinoceros cage at the zoo and the towel dispenser was empty. read more

Drove around the mall parking lot for no less than 30 minutes on a regular Saturday afternoon, before I could find a parking spot. You would think they were giving things away for free judging by the magnitude and volume of people here. Seems like going to the mall with the whole family and five kids in tow is a stereotypically suburban super favorite weekend activity here. Became so aggravated as I had to park practically a quarter mile from the entrance I intended to use, and then still had to endure the masses of overbearing people and myriad loud noises actually inside the mall, that I left in about 20 minutes without accomplishing anything I wanted to do there. Lots of stores in the mall and places to eat in the food court though, being visited by half the population of Maryland apparently. Unless its early on a weekday morning, I am not stepping foot into this cauldron of insanity again for any reason. I can only imagine how much worse it is to be here during the winter holiday season. read more

Very good-size mall. If you're from southern California, Arundel Mills will remind you of Ontario Mills Mall. Instead of an anchor store at four or five corners, this mall is a huge oval, with anchor stores on the off of some of the sides. Bass Pro Shops, Medieval Times, Dave and Busters, movie theaters, and the food courts are the main "corners" for this mall. And, like, the Ontario Mills Mall in soCal, the stores in the mall are mostly outlets. Not the most recently updated, but it's fine. Some of my favorite shops: - Disney (I'm a kid at heart) - Coach Outlet (though, I think Macy's is sometimes cheaper, so I never really buy anything from here, but they have such cute things!) - Books-a-million (I'm a bookworm!) Clarks, aerosoles, Crocs, New Balance, etc....so many good shoe stores! They also have all of your major cell phone carriers, so you can come by and shop here (T-mobile, Verizon, AT&T). Anyways, like any mall, it's fun, but I'm sure some will get tired of it if they go too often. Love Arundel Mills it's only 10 mins from home and there's a good variety of shopping and dining as well as live casino literally as soon as you exit the mall so you could try your luck there as well the traffic can be hectic at times and parking used to be a hassle but ever since the casino opened they have a parking garage and you can always park there the mall is clean with the exception of the bathrooms which was my only disappointment I mean I know they're bathrooms but to be smelly and dirty in mid afternoon on a weekday is pretty bad I'd recommend using the restroom in one of the retailers or restaurants read more

Arundel Mills....how I hate you and yet, how I love you. I seriously have a love-hate relationship with Arundel Mills. I would give the place a solid 2.5 out of 5 stars....right down the middle of this rating scale. The good thing about Arundel Mills is that it's pretty much a one-stop shop for EVERYTHING. There are plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Plus, you can even take care of some errands in the process. There's a movie theater, Dave and Busters, Medieval Times, and Maryland Live Casino. Arundel Mills is a mall which consists of mostly outlet stores but they also have a Five Below and Best Buy in there as well. Some of the restaurants include Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, DuClaw's and much more. So yeah, pretty much everything all clustered into one big shopping center. With all that being said...since there is so much to see, do, and eat at Arundel Mills, EVERYONE is there ALL OF THE TIME. Since everyone is there all of the time, parking is a serious beast to be reckoned with and I wish you luck on fighting that battle. I would definitely recommend going to Arundel Mills in the middle of the week. If you go on the weekend, go early. Like, seriously. Go when they first open. I just went here over the weekend and parking was horrible, especially when I went to see a movie on Saturday night. I even had difficulty finding my car afterwards, which is something I'm not going to get into right now to spare me the embarrassment. So yeah, go to Arundel Mills. Shop. Eat. Have fun. But if you have specific plans, try to get there early to have time to park. Also, be mindful of your surroundings in the parking lot. read more

I love this mall. I could spend hours here when I am in town. In the area, though, I like Potomac Mills best (Woodbridge, Virginia). The highlights of this mall for me are Rack Room Shoes, Modell's, Calvin Klein, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Bass Pro Shops, the huge Burlington Coat Factory, Ann Taylor and LOFT outlets, Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Outlet. Definitely check out amazing craft beers at DuClaw (Funk and Sweet Baby Jesus are awesome), Buffalo Wild Wings, Chevy's, Moe's and Salad Creations. The downfall is most definitely the parking and illogical setup of it. It's a nightmare to drive around the general area of the mall. Luckily, we were walking distance so driving wasn't necessary except when I was already out with the car and stopped there. read more

Yup, had much better (like the annapolis mall). This place is large, very large. It has one of my favorite rummage stores - TJMAX, but besides that I was in search of athletic gear and was disappointed with models and all the other stores that claim themselves to be athletic stores. It was more about what high school trend is out for the summer. Adult clothes... don't shop here, go to a real mall. I understand the theater is worth it, ok go to the theater. Want food, yes go to DuClaws, go to Johnny Rockets or the Italian place next to DuClaws, but don't bother shopping here if you care about the quality and variety here. This is a HUGE mall! Tons of stores and restaurants inside as well as a Bass Pro, movie theater, Medieval Times (dinner theater) and a Dave and Busters. The mall is usually pretty crowded but if you are planning on doing a lot of shopping this is the place to be! Parking can be an enormous pain in the butt. Not just trying to find a close spot... I mean trying to find any spot. Finding a spot will almost always take you a while so keep that in mind if you have plans at a specific time. read more

5 stars for visiting on a week day, 2 or 3 stars for attempting to visit on a weekend. What's the difference? Parking. Seems the parking lots, as vast as they may seem, fill completely on weekends. There is good reason for that. This is a big outlet mall with a good mix of stores. Really reminds me of Ontario Mills in California. There are ongoing and seasonal sales and specials, as you would expect of an outlet mall. Be sure to check your hotel or BWI for a flyer or tourist magazine that gives you a free discount book. I didn't come here to shop but to tire my tot out indoors because it is winter and we were staying nearby. We came here almost daily for a couple of hours over the course of a couple of days the week before Xmas. According to the steps on my phone, we did ~2 miles in the mall those days just walking to the play area and to the food court. Parking surprisingly was doable esp if you park near the movie theatre. This mall is really well designed to tire out little kids and provide affordable "cheap thrills". The shopping neighborhoods are numbered and there are big signs which my kid loved to point out. It has rides that you pay a dollar for all around the mall complete with change machines. It has a really extensive kids play area by Medevial Times that the mall even took time to stock with little bumper cars for the kids to push each other around in conveniently situated next to a pretzel snack place. It has several dippin dots vending machines and a dippin dots place. It has quarter candy machines. Bass Pro/Outdoor world basically has a free aquarium. The food court has plenty of high chairs just lying around for you to grab and use. Not only that but the people we met (other parents, shoppers, kids, etc.) were really kind to us and nice to interact with. Should you need to shop, the mall has red mall racer carts for rent all around its entrances for 6 bucks so that you can strap your kid in while you tool around the outlet stores. I was really sad to find that not all malls (e.g. Towson Town Center) have such great amenities for parents with young children. The mall is awesome and close enough for me to re-visit soon to actually check out the stores with my kid in toll. read more

Arundel Mills has a lot great stores. It's only August and most stores were open. When we came in early July seemed like it was good and people were staying apart and people wearing masks. We came back August 22nd and left shortly after we were there. So many people not wearing their masks. They closed the seating area to the restaurants which were previously opened In June or early July. So many people walking around eating without masks. There was a man using a vaping cigarette and blowing smoke out in the open and that when we decided to leave. We will not be back until the end of COVID. read more

When I first moved to Maryland, I thought Arundel Mills was THE place to go. However, after a couple of years I realized that it's overrun with teenagers who have NO consideration for anyone around them, the parking lot is a nightmare, and apparently there are muggings on a somewhat regular basis. Driving around is a day-long event due to the congestion from too many outlying businesses & restaurants, and the roads really weren't designed well for the volume of traffic, especially since the addition of the casino. The mall itself is OK, decent variety of shops and good prices, but be prepared to elbow your way through everything. Especially on a weekend. If you can get away in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, go for it. Otherwise, you're taking your life into your own hands. read more

My friend got numerous Roxy baseball cap for $3 and Roxy T shirt for $2... Not too many high end stores... but you may not be someone that look for high end shoes... Bottom Line: The variety of shops and sales here are good but only worth it if you can avoid parking lot congestion and crime. When Arundel Mills first opened I was so excited and really enjoyed coming here to walk the mall, peruse the stores and soak in the enormity and novelty of this place. However, fast-forward nearly 15 years and I largely associated Arundel Mills with Live! casino, awful parking and crime. The only time I will generally come here is a weekday at lunch or a Monday through Thursday evening after work but before it gets dark. You won't find me here on a weekend because of crowds and you won't find me here after dark thanks to the parking lot having a sketchy reputation. In general, I find the deals here to be good but most of my clothing comes from Nordstrom so maybe my perspective is skewed. I feel like I can always find a good deal at places like Banana Republic and Loft where things always seem to be 40% or 50% off the marked price which is much less than the regular stores to begin with. If you are a dedicated shopper and willing to look at sale racks, I am sure there are some really good deals to be hand. read more

This mall is fine. I'm from the Philadelphia area and it was suggested that I visit this mall. I have no complaints however...in Philadelphia....we have a much more spectacular mall called The King of Prussia Mall which is a top notch shopping experience. In comparison...this mall lacks the extravagance. But it's a fairly basic mall. I have no complaints. And will definitely visit again. I was expecting it to be more high end.
