My first Mills experience was Potomac Mills,and the one in Toronto Canada ..Vaghn Mills. They are all similar, and Arundel Mills is great except for one thing... They no longer have enough PARKING. I love this mall! It's huge and so many great stores. I love Books a Million, FYE, Disney, Dave and Busters Five Below and just so many great stores that Annapolis Mall doesn't have. The mall is also clean and the food court was constantly being swept up and cleaned which was nice. The only downside is it's not as safe especially with the casino so I wouldn't go there at night ever. read more

This mall is fine. I'm from the Philadelphia area and it was suggested that I visit this mall. I have no complaints however...in Philadelphia....we have a much more spectacular mall called The King of Prussia Mall which is a top notch shopping experience. In comparison...this mall lacks the extravagance. But it's a fairly basic mall. I have no complaints. And will definitely visit again. I was expecting it to be more high end. First time at AM was quite impressed with the number of people out shopping. The number of stores was contradicts the media saying that malls were dying and couldn't compete with online shopping. This mall is my " Everyday " mall, you can go out here and find your basics " Wants " it's an outlet mall, with that being so some things you can't get on sale!! This nice mall is located near the interchange of MD-295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) and MD-100. Both of those freeways have an exit for the Arundel Mills Boulevard, which brings people right to the entrance of the mall. Even though the mall itself has only one level, it's quite big and packed with stores on both sides. The path of the mall runs in a circular direction, like a loop. It could take UP to 30 minutes for you to walk through this mall if you don't plan on stopping anywhere to hunt for bargains. As with the Potomac, Franklin, and Jersey Garden Mills, this mall contains a mixture of outlet, regular, and anchor stores. NOT every store is an outlet. Most of the stores here are focused on clothing and shoes, while others are a mixture of stationary, gifts, accessories, beauty, electronics, and more. The anchors here include Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Burlington Coat Factory, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Off 5th Ave, and TJ Maxx. Entertainment venues here are the Egyptian Cinemark, Dave and Busters, and Medieval Times. We stopped here when I was younger with my relatives in Maryland a long time ago, which was fine. For the recent experience, we stopped here on our way back to Central NJ to hunt for some bargains on a weekday. We entered from the Baltimore-Washington Parkway exit. Because it was a weekday morning, there was plentiful parking available. When we walked up to one of the main entrances, the doors were locked, which meant that the mall wasn't open yet. However, the Burlington Coat Factory was open, so we looked around in there first. Then my mom looked through numerous clothing stores to see if anything interested her. One of those stores included the TJ Maxx. She did buy a shirt from one of the stores. We ventured through the Bass Pro Shop, which was a unique outdoor sports store, but will never be as decorative as Cabella's. We didn't need anything there. We didn't walk out of Tommy Hilfiger empty-handed since they were having a sale on some of their clothing articles (reviewed separately). Other notable stores that we ventured through included Books-A-Million, Swarovski, and Best Buy. We didn't need anything at those stores either. The food court consisted of places that sold burgers, sandwiches, salads, fast meals on a plate and more. We decided to eat lunch at the Lotus Express, which served fast Asian entrees. That wasn't bad at all! Plentiful seating was available. The decorations here made this section look like a rail terminal, which was cool. The Egyptian movie theater looked really cool. The restrooms appeared to be clean. Even the mall itself was quite clean too. Just a note that at the time that we were there, country music was playing in the background, which isn't something that I listen to everyday. If you're a hater of this kind of music, just try to ignore it and focus more on the bargain hunting. Overall, a flawless experience. I highly recommend this mall to anyone who's visiting or driving through this area and looking for bargains. read more

Remember my mortification and shame as the large expanse of your halls allowed my escape?! Age: 20. Remember your seasonal Halloween Costume Store? Remember the asshole sales associate in the Freddy costume that chased me out with a butcher knife as I cried and had a panic attack? Remember your patrons laughing uncomfortably and uncontrollably at my fear?! Age: 21. Remember how empty your halls were at 2am after the late night movie? Remember how the security guy let us walk the length of the empty mall so we could get to the car? Remember how my friend tackled me unexpectedly and I skinned my forehead on his shiny knee? Age: 22. Remember all the alcohol? Remember the crazily greasy yet delicious cheese fries you sell at your movie theatre? Remember the puke fest I engaged in in your impressively clean public restroom? My stories get less and less interesting as I get older. Still, I heart you Arundel Mills. I love how it takes an hour to aimlessly walk the length of your floor and browse the grand compilation of shops. I love the huge food court, restaurants, muvico and countless things to do. Despite the crowd getting more and more ghetTO because you decided to implement public access/transportation measures, I still heart you. Potomac Mills, eat your heart out. read more

As far as malls go Arundel Mills is OK. The pricing is on par and in many cases higher then Columbia. For me that is the problem, they bill themselves as an outlet Mall but they have standard to higher prices. The outlet stores are not offering any of the discounts traditionally associated with outlet stores; instead they seem to be interpreting outlet to mean any store that sells to the public. Even if they didn't claim to be an outlet mall I still would not give them another star because so much is wrong. The worst offense of all is the parking and traffic situation. The traffic pattern is so bad they have a continual blockade of cones up in one area, there was about a 30% to 40% shortage in parking spots before they brought in the valet company. The valet company has taken over about 10% (estimated) of the total parking for the Mall. With the addition of Live parking will go from bad to horrendous. The mall itself is large, almost as big as Westfield Annapolis. There are plenty of stores for everyone, and entertainment too. I will say it again if they did not have the word outlet in front of them I would not complain about the pricing. There are plenty of restaurants in and around the mall. So you find almost anything to eat. My last complaint is the shape, most malls of any size have an interesting layout, not Arundel Mills. It is an oval, it is like being a hamster on a wheel. When it opened over ten years ago, it had the potential to be a great place - but in the years since, it has gone down hill. To call it an "outlet" mall is a misnomer, you will not find big deals here, even in the "off the rack" shops for the big department stores. The mall also seems to have a disproportionately large amount of kiosks for a mall this size - they seem to be crammed in to each other tightly in that center aisle. You see the typical handbags, cell phone cases, and knick-knacks, but there are some rather strange (albeit creative) kiosks too: a whole stand dedicated to adhesive rhinestones for your eyelashes and eyebrows, and a "smokeless" and "safe" cigar/cigarette stand, among others. The salespeople at these kiosks can be pretty aggressive too, so if you aren't interested, keep your head down and walk by quickly. The parking lot can be tricky, especially on the weekends. With the new casino on the backside, it will undoubtedly become even more of an issue. The whole area has exploded in the last few years - beyond the mall itself, there are all sorts of big box stores, restaurants, and office buildings. The streets in and around the mall can be a little a challenge to navigate, so bring your GPS along to make sure you get back to the main roads! read more

I would rather have someone shoot me in the foot with a crossbow than have to deal with his parking lot nightmare. And since they added the "casino," traffic and parking has just gotten worse. Yes, I used "casino" in quotes. Deal with it, quote snobs. By the way, it's not an outlet mall people! Have you seen the stores in it? The prices are just as high, if not higher, than going to Columbia or Annapolis Mall. I remember when the place first opened...it was the jewel of malls in the area (not very hard to compete with Marley, Harundale and Glen Burnie). But it's a labyrinth, which I guess is the goal, to have you wander around aimlessly looking for the second GameStop...or are there three GameStops here...I forget. Actually, it's just a giant circle, with a cut out running through the center, that way you only have to walk a semi-circle. Heh, see what I did there? Geometry lesson. To the people who shop here at Christmas season, you need to get your head examined. Are you into S&M, because signs point to yes, if you feel the need to go here from December 1-December 24. And if you do, don't you dare complain about it. You know why? Because you are the idiot that went there! P.S. This place had a high crime rate even before the full casino opened (people killed, raped, robbed, carjacked on a regular basis). Now that the casino is opened, it got even worse--imagine that. Add prostitution to the list now with the casino. I used to work at Arundel Mills and then worked in Ellicott City and Annapolis. If our store had something out of stock, I would suggest Arundel Mills. I can't count the number of times when the customer responded that they don't go there anymore due to the crime and overall atmosphere. This was before the casino. As I said, now it's much, much worse. Just google it and you'll see for yourself. Crime aside, the stores aren't that great (even normally good stores put their low-end stuff there), it's always incredibly crowded, and parking is wholly inadequate. read more

Now this place is an all day adventure. I'm quite sure I killed about 6 hours here! As an out of towner, I found a ton of places I've never heard of! I shopped for shoes, hair stuff, and music. I enjoyed a nice lunch at the jam packed food court. Saw a movie, had some starbucks and ice cream. Even got lost a couple of times. I guess this would be compared to the Great Mall in Milpitas, CA out this way.... I really enjoyed myself. Now, if I can just get to the Mall of America, life will be complete! read more

I love this mall. There are lots of stores packed together. Bed, Bath & Beyond has a great bathroom. You need to ask an employee for the code but the place is clean. Mall parking gets tricky because the casino is next door. I think lots of people going to the casino are parking by the stores closest to the casino. Avoid that entrance if you can. Why Arundel Mills is better than Potomac Mills: 1. There is less traffic going up I-95. 2. You need not travel through the Triple Bypass in Springfield. 3. Less crowds. 4. Fewer loitering teenagers. 5. THE LAYOUT MAKES SENSE! Arundel Mills is basically a large circular mall with a middle divide. Potomac Mills is just a LONG, windy corridor. I hate having to walk from one end of to the other and walk ALL the way back. When I'm at Arundel Mills, I can just cut through the center... Why Arundel Mills isn't better than Potomac Mills: - Medieval Times is listed under their "Restaurant" category. If you don't feel like dealing with the congestion around Springfield and Woodbridge, Arundel Mills is a good alternative. It may not be as larger as Potomac Mills, but they have similar stores. HUGE Outlet Mall. I think it's close to a mile if you walk the complete thing in a circle. The parking is absolutely HORRIBLE, tons of shady people around, especially at night if you go to Dave and Busters (see my review on that dump). Not man restrooms in the main walk ways. So me and my wife went here to enjoy a nice date day/night. When we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. Once we sat down is when it went down hill. We sat down and waited for about 10 to 12 mins for the waitress to come and at least say "hi I'm going to be taking care of you. Once she finally came and did take our drink orders she disappeared for another 15 minutes. When she came back she stated that it was a shift change and that someone else (Ebony) would be taking care of us. Ebony was a really nice person but not a good waitress. She didn't check on us and we had to wait extreme amounts of time to get request in. She didn't come back to the table frequently at all. She only refilled our drinks once. To make a long story shorter my wife didn't like the cheese cake that was recommended by Ebony so the manager (Paul) came and checked on us about the cheesecake. This was the first professional and nice gesture of the evening besides getting seated quickly. We told him about our experience and he immediately offered a resolve. He was really nice and professional because of him alone we may return. But they need to update their customer service a bit before I recommend this place to other. I mean come on, it's Cheesecake Factory who wants a bad experience there?? But I will give it a 3 star ONLY BECAUSE PAUL was so nice and accommodating!! As for the waitress who started us out and the one who picked us up. They need to go back to "waiting table school". Arundel Mills - Shopping Centers Near Me - Hanover, Maryland

A great place for bargain label whores like myself! Very easy to get to from either Baltimore or D.C. They have everthing from Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory, Saks Off 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call (one is supposedly coming to Pittsburgh! YAY!) T.J. MAXX, Finish Line, Foot Locker, Champs Sports and much much more! They have tons of food options as with evrything from Burger King and Popeye's to REMOMO Cafe Italia. This place is huge! You'll need atleast four to five hours to hit up all the stores. There is plenty of parking as well. I love the fact that the whole mall is one big circle, perfect for the early morning mall walkers. read more

I love this mall a lot... I wish it was closer to where I live. This mall is located right next to Maryland Live Casino, in fact, I think it was there way way before the casino opened. The mall has huge parking lot, literally, so finding parking shouldn't be a problem at all. I usually come to this mall whenever someone want to go to the casino, I just tag along so I can visit this mall. This mall is huge and it has many great restaurants in here. I recently visited this place again this past weekend and I was amazed by the stores they have. They finally added forever 21 store in it, the store itself is big but they rarely have anything compared Fairoaks Forever 21. They have many great restaurants around this mall, for example, dave and buster, buffalo wild wings, chevy's, etc. The food court is decent, I wouldn't say its huge or have many choices compare to how big the mall itself. Please do visit this mall if you happen to be around or want to visit both the casino and the mall. This mall will give you a great workout since I was so sore after walking two laps around the whole mall. read more

Arundel Mills is a great! I love how it loops in a circle, allowing you to not miss a single store. I also love the handful of outlet stores in there (Saks, Nieman Marcus, J. Crew, Banana, Ann Taylor), but they also have stores like H&M, Champs, Charlotte Russe, TJ Maxx, Victoria's Secret). You could seriously spend hours at this mall--I know I did. As for food, there's a Popeyes, Pretzels, Bubble Tea, Chevys, Johnny Rocket, Burger King, and much more. When you're done with that, you can go to Dave & Busters or the Cinema. There's really way to much to buy, do, and see here! Overall, this mall puts all the other malls in the area to shame. But I do have one complaint--the toilet paper in the bathrooms is the cheapest, most low-quality toilet paper to ever exist. One gentle pull, and the TP tears to a tiny piece. It's thin and fragile, and impossible to roll. How toilet paper could suck so bad--I do not know!! You have to check it out for yourself to witness the world's worst TP. read more

More trouble than it's worth! I used to really like coming here to a few of the outlet stores like the Loft and Banana Republic. Now, the parking situation is worse than ever even with the addition of the huge garage for the casino. Traffic getting in and out is a hassle. There is a lot of casino traffic and in the past few years the area around the mall has added a lot of stores and restaurants making things more congested. The mall has always confused me because some stores are regular stores and others are outlets and it's difficult to keep them straight. Not to mention the terrible layout! I should've worn a pedometer this morning I walked so much! There is no quick way to get anywhere in this mall! It must be a ploy to make us all walk by each store 3 times. There are limited directories and the "neighborhoods" are not helping. I went to the Merrell store this morning and looked it up beforehand so I could figure out where to park. Well that was a complete fail....the web site said neighborhood 2, but the web sites's map had sections of the mall categorized by alphabetical letters, and then at the mall there are no neighborhood signs in the parking areas as far as I could tell. I will pretty much avoid this mall like the plague unless I need something at a specific store or can manage to come during slow hours. read more

I LOVE that this outlet mall is a reasonable driving distance from Baltimore. I'm used to the outlets outside of LA that are like 1-2 hours away. While my hubby watches the game at Dave&Busters, I can take my time perusing the many many stores. What a really like about this place is the variety of shops. There are outlets (duh) but also full retail branches. They range from the trendy (Charlotte Russe, H&M) to mid-price (Banana, Kenneth Cole, BCBG) to the designer (Saks, Neiman Marcus Last Call). There is a massive food court, as well as a movie theater and Best Buy. There really is something for everyone. The layout is nice. It's just one big circle, so it's easy and efficient. And make sure you stop by the customer service for your coupon book if you're AAA. read more

Why is Arundel Mills better than Potomac? One word: MUVICO! That's right, Muvico Egyptian 24 Theater - I love this movie theater...24 screens, a daycare center (for those with kiddies), AND they serve REAL food - not just popcorn...more like popcorn shrimp! AND although I may be slightly winded after walking this entire mall (Arundel Mills) - It's better than feeling like wanting to PASS OUT...which is exactly how I feel after walking through just HALF of Potomac Mills! I can honestly say that I have never fully walked through Potomac Mills. This place is hell on earth. I have both worked and shopped here and it is the absolute worst. This mall has almost always been unsafe, and with the addition of the casino, it's even worse. The mall and parking lot are dangerous, especially for women walking alone, and especially at night. Mall security does absolutely nothing to ensure safety. When I worked here, I always carried pepper spray with me. There are some okay stores in the mall, but I'd only recommend going midday on a weekday if you want to stay relatively safe and avoid large groups of unruly teenagers. Also, if you're a lady, make sure you keep an eye out for some of the mall security guys. At least one of them is a total creep who ogles female shoppers' assets (if you know what I mean). I made some great friends working at this mall, but it really is a steaming pile of poo. read more

What?!?!? No reviews for Arundel Mills?!?! Ok, I see some reviews for individual stores and restaurants but not of the whole place. I guess I'll go first. Arundel Mills is one big place to go and shop to your heart's content. That is if your feet doesn't get tired on you. So, wear your best tennis shoes. And no, don't even think about wearing flip-flops if you plan to do some serious shopping. The only place bigger than Arundel is Potomac Mills. (I've yet to be able to go through the entire Potomac Mills before getting tired. That's how many stores Potomac has!) The thing about Arundel is that you'll either be lucky and find some good stuff at good prices or you'll find absolutely nothing at all. So, it could be a treasure hunt or a waste of time. I love how there are different mini-themes throughout the mall. It's enough to get kids' attention and for adults to appreciate. Although, I think some of these themes need to be changed every now and then or else it's just boring. Come back every now and then and you'll see some new stores. The problem is that some stores that were closed for the new ones just might have been your favorites. Dagnabit! Don't just limit your shopping at the big mall. There are plenty of stores and restaurants across the streets. Check them out as well! read more

Alright, I'll write a review for this place cuz I'm there almost every week. It's huge, has a great variety of stores, and is located next to a Costco and across the street from Safeway. Stores we frequent: Best Buy, the movie theater, Bed Bath and Beyond, DuClaws (some pretty good beer), Orange Julius/DQ, Cinnabon, FiveBelow, H&M, BananaRepublic Factory Store, Kenneth Cole, Eddie Bauer, GameStop. You get the idea. There are so many stores that you probably won't even get around the entire mall. Chances are if you're looking for a particular store, you'll either find it or a comparable substitute at Arundel Mills. However, if you're a fan of Project Runway and are looking for SJP's collection at Steve & Barry's, you're out of luck there. #1 best thing about Arundel Mills: people-watching. This ain't no downtown B'more or DC. This is suburban, overfed, under-exercised America. It is enough motivation for me to hit the gym. And like all malls, plenty of goth-wannabe teens abound. Didn't the goth look come and go in 1995? Parking can be difficult on Friday nights. Don't try parking at the theater, instead park near the huge sporting goods store. read more

This mall is pretty awesome! I come here quite often because they seem to have all the right stores that I need. They also have a movie theatre, BW3's, Chilis, Best Buy, Mideivel Times, and several pretzel spots, which I am certainly happy about. It is a huge mall. It takes forever to walk around the whole thing. The stores are always having good sales and you can usually find a bargain or two in just about one of the million stores. Parking can be a little hectic on the weekends, but I think that goes for most malls. The new casino opened up, so there is a bit more trafiic as well. I used to take my daughters here, and they loved to ride on the little train by the movie theatre. They also have those rental stroller things, i believe they are around 5 bucks to rent for the one seater and 7 for the big red fire truck two seater. I recommend this place if you are looking for a bargain and you are looking to work out your legs. My advice is to buy a pretzel and cruise the mall! read more

Good god has this place turned into a cluster-$&@?# since the casino opened! Ok, to be completely fair it was a Saturday night and every Marylander with a pickup was out for the night looking to shop or gamble. But the roads in and out were like going to a major sporting event. The entire parking situation is about as orderly as FedEx Field. That is to say it is total chaos. The mall has been here for years and so the traffic pattern was set long ago. Now that the casino has been added things are out of control. You move around a two lane road that circles a giant one level mall. Then, you make your way to where the casino is, and there is a giant 7 story garage. But much of the actual garage is taken up by a ramp in the center that is 3 lanes in each direction. On this Saturday night it was jam packed. I felt lucky to get a spot on the roof. The elevators were jam packed, and so far as I could see there were only 4. I had to wait to go down, and when we were going back there was a giant line, like waiting to get on an elevator at the Empire State Building. I will never go back. . read more

Arundel Mills is a outlet mall. Meaning, the clothing is 1-2 years old and the quality poor, as they are the rejects. The shopping is good and you can find some great deal. SAFETY: I have been going to Arundel Mills for almost eight years and I have neither been mugged nor has my vehicle been broken into, and I drive a luxury vehicle. Additionally, I rarely lock my car, because I hate being locked out of my car. However the crowd consists of trailer trash and ghetto types. read more

This is a HUGE outlet mall and they have literally everything you could ever need/want (even things you didn't even know existed) in one place. It was a little bit overwhelming to say the least, but if you have an entire day to kill, this would be a good place to do it. Pros: TONS of shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, casino, LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU NEED Cons: Pushy mall kiosks (like most malls), parking is impossible, traffic sucks I would say come on a week day, it will definitely be less busy, but depending on where you're driving from make sure you pay attention to your time! It took us about 80 minutes to drive there from Northern Virginia, but getting back home took about 4 hours because we left at 3 and ended up hitting DC rush hour. read more

Not my favorite malls in the area...I think its the clientele and the location of the mall. I have heard reports of crime and vandalism near/around/in the mall. Not somewhere I would shop regularly.... If you are looking for cute, hoity toity and high end this is not a good place for it....it kind of reminds me of Gurnee Mills in IL near Chicago. It is a mix of regular stores and outlet stores. Some of my favorite stores include Bass Pro, Off Saks 5th Ave and Niemann Marcus Last Call. BCBG is also a favorite in there. But that's about it for stores. I do like Du Claws and Chevy's for food. But I am not a fan of being there on the weekends....it is just way too crowded. Medival Times is also there so it is kind of nice to shop before you see a show. The mall is pretty convenient to 295 and 100. When I was a teenager, this was the place to be. New, clean, and luxury. Many weekends were spent here, going to the movies and browsing the shops. But nowadays, this place is overrun. Parking is next to impossible, and it's so crowded it feels claustrophobic. When they first put in the Medieval Times, we thought it was the big time. Then the casino came, and it doubled the amount of people coming, but with that also double the uncleanliness and crowdedness. It really is a shell of what it used to be; maybe it's my early 2000s nostalgia, but this place really isn't what it once was. The Muvico theater is now a Cinemark. The Jillian's is now a Dave and Buster's. The FYE was demoted to a small storefront and had their gigantic glass showroom replaced by a Forever 21. I can go on about the changes, but it's just not the same. I will say that I do like the food selection; Chevy's has always been a favorite of mine whilst hanging out at the mall. But that's not enough to make me want to hang out at the mall. It might be a place I'll return to here or there, but I just can't get over how different it is now, in a bad way. read more

This is the closest "outlet" mall to my house, and it's worth coming here every now and then for some good prices on brands that I might not be interested in otherwise. It's certainly not on par with some outlets that I have been to such as Queenstown Premium, but it's not bad and they have a good selection of stores such as Burlington Coat Factory, Tommy Hilfiger, Nine West, Wilsons Leather and others. The prices are decent and it's well worth coming here for an afternoon, even if it's just to window-shop. There truly is something here for almost everyone. A few points off for the following: - Obviously, the parking situation sucks, as is evidenced from previous reviews. Avoid this place on the weekends and holidays at all costs - you will not find a parking spot even in the outlying areas, and people literally stalk the few spots that suddenly open up. The presence of the casino actually exacerbates the problem. Not worth the road rage, to be honest. - Food court options are actually pretty dismal for a mall this size. Very little in the way of "healthy" options other than a Subway and a little salad place. There's the sit-down restaurants, of course, but not everyone wants to do that. - This place can get hellishly crowded on the very times I said to avoid - weekends and holidays! Other than that, however, it's worth a stop to check it out, and the shopping options are a lot better than surrounding malls such as Marley or Glen Burnie. read more
