Tony came out for a free estimate to remove a tree that had a root dangerously close to our foundation, gave me an incredibly great price for the removal of the tree and all roots, as well as a quick trim of a second tree, and his team able to come out next day and take care of everything! This company uses spikes to climb the tree. I have never hired a company that left holes in my palm's trunk before. I had to google it to figure this out. Apparently not a good thing. I had a great experience working with Tony at Ace Tree Services. I reached out for a quote, and Tony came out the same day to walk the property. He provided a very competitive estimate for removing a couple of trees, installing mulch, and putting in a new grass area. I let him know I had a few other companies coming out to provide estimates as well, and after comparing four different bids, Tony's was not only the most competitive but he was also by far the easiest to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and never made me feel pressured. The project went smoothly overall. There was one minor hiccup when a sprinkler head was accidentally damaged during the work, but Tony immediately took ownership of the issue. I do not recommend this company at all for service! When I originally phoned them for an estimate, Antonio referred me to his brother "Jay." . Jay had come out to our home and given us a fair estimate for the work that was to be done. On 6-15 Jay and his crew came out and removed several trees along with stump removal on many of them. Fast forward to beginning of August when I noticed that on one of the trees we paid for stump removal on, the tree were sprouting and had visible roots showing around the entire circumference of the previous tree. Being I wasn't able to locate Jay's phone number at the time, I phoned A's business number and reached Antonio. When I asked for Jay, he seemed confused and acted as if he didn't know who Jay was? He also told me at one point that I had the wrong number! I persisted in that he was the one who referred me to Jay originally for the quote. Finally, Antonio admitted that he does know Jay-who is his brother apparently-but Jay no longer works for him. I explained to Antonio that we had one Sagal Palm that was sprouting and the roots were still showing. I made it clear that I wanted him to come out and remove the rest of the stump/roots as that's what we originally paid his company to do! He said he would do that. I also asked for a final invoice on the amount that we paid for the work. After asking Jay three separate times we never received it! Every time Jay said he would send it- but, he never did. Poor follow through! Anyway, I made an appointment with Anotonio/Tony to come out to clean up the rest of the stump/roots which he agreed to do as well as bring our final invoice of payment for us- on August 3rd at 1pm. So, August 3rd comes and 1pm comes and Antonio was a no show! When I texted him to ask if he is coming, he tells me that he had a family emergency. He said he'd take care of it the following day on August 4th. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we agreed on a 2.30 pm time the following day. Again, August 4th at 2.30 comes and again Antonio is a no show! I called him and he didn't even have the professionalism to pick up my call! I left a message asking him if he was a man of integrity and a man of his word? Apparently not, as he never showed up, never called me back-NOTHING! In my opinion, this company does not stand behind their work. They can't even give a receipt for payment! The work is substandard, as they can't fully even removed the stumps! Update- we now have two trees that have roots and sprouts coming back up! Antonio does not keep his word-flakes-states he will make things right and does not! Save your hard earned money and go with a more reputable company. A company that has integrity and is professional. Remember-you get what you pay for! 0 stars for A's tree tree service because they can't do the job correctly or even provide a receipt of payment! read more
