Asads 3 2x Tenders With Fries
    Rick M.

Location is easily accessible- in site parking. I called my order in ahead- was told 10-15 minute until ready. Pulled up 20 minutes later- was a Saturday evening and was a next to no line wait. Food was ready upon arrival. Chicken tender was fresh and seasoned well and hot- lots of flavor. The fries were seasoned and on point as well. Can tell that all the ingredients were fresh and not just thrown together. The show stopper was the banana pudding- beyond amazing!! Overall for this to be a pull up and fast food style franchise spot the food was above what I expected. Service was as it should be. If I'm ever in town again can see myself coming back

Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time! I was able to order on a kiosk, and my food came within five minutes. The store wasn't busy and was exceptionally clean. Parking was also super easy to get to the restaurant. I wish they had options that weren't fried like a grilled sandwich or some side dish. That's not fried. The banana pudding was pretty good, but it was such a small portion for $5 and way too sweet. The mild chicken was well seasoned but if you're a lightweight like me, I highly recommend mild spice.

Just stopped by Asad's for the first time tonight. We ordered two #4s which come with a slider, a tender, and fries. I inquired about the spice level after trying Baba's in Audubon recently and getting completely dominated by one of the levels that wasn't supposed to be anything crazy. The girl at the counter said I should be able to handle "hot" if I like spicy food, they had 2 levels above that. She also told us that we could get different levels of spice for each item in our order, so I got hot honey for my slider and mild for my tender. I do wish she would've informed me that the honey would cost me an extra $1. The food came out pretty fast. The portions were huge. My boyfriend and I probably could've split the meal that comes with two sliders. The chicken was delicious, very juicy and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. We had to ask the counter for ketchup (they gave us a measly 4 packets) and extra napkins. We both finished our sliders (which were pretty large) and chicken tenders and came home with half our fries. The chocolate milkshake was very rich and delicious. The whipped cream seemed like real cream, not out of a can, but again I wish she conveyed that it would cost me extra. Maybe I missed it somewhere on the menu, idk. Many dudes were coming in and out, most leaving with takeout. The restaurant was clean with fun decor, but the AC was pumping to the point where I was freezing. I guess that's better than sweating while you eat hot chicken lol. Overall the meal was delicious, a bit expensive, but maybe not if you share. The family next to us was sharing 2 portions of loaded fries and it looked like plenty.

We had Asad's last summer at a food festival but did not try jt in the restaurant. We decided to do so today. Ordered one 2 sliders with regular fries, another one with cheese fries and mango lassi. Service was fast even though it was busy. We used the order station and it was quick and with no issues. The chicken was well cooked, juicy and tender. The fries were crunchy and tasty with the cheese. The restaurant has many tables to sit in and enjoy your meal. The place was quiet even though it was busy. Will definitely come back again when we're in the area.

Dropped into this location noon on a Sunday. Placed order when arriving for 3 sliders and fries with one milkshake. Things became busy quickly given the time of day. We waited, maybe , 15 minutes. Door Dashers came and went. Calling out your number was the alert but it did seem a little confusing. The chicken is really good, hot in this instance. The hot is just a touch of heat. It's juicy and well cooked. I'd say it's a great chicken sandwich that is not tremendously discernible from others. I'd certainly get it again but I'd have to be close by, there are none within 30 minutes for me in Delco.

Damn. Asad's has done it. They are now our go to "I want comfort food" dinner. We ordered via Uber Eats and it was delivered with a great presentation. Solid two meals for under $40. What we snagged: -Chicken Sliders with Fries (WOW. Two huge sandwiches. Could only eat one.) -Two tenders with Fries. The portions are HUGE. You don't need to worry about ordering more than you think. The chicken was tender and the add one weren't too over powerful. Highly recommend for any meal. We didn't get HOT or above that. We will next time. Mild isn't spicy at all.

    ASADS #6 (LOADED FRIES)

I've been a handful of times when I'm craving spice. You should order at least Hot for your spice. I don't think it's worth the price for "mild" and lower. You're better off getting a not so spicy sandwich from somewhere else. Hot isn't too overbearing either. Food has always been well cooked and seasoned. I can agree the fries can be salty but for me they're perfect since I tend to prefer overly seasoned foods. My go-to would be the loaded fries, I think for the price it's the most worth it. The sandwich and tender was okay but just didn't really do it for me. One thing about the fries though, it can be inconsistent. I was given a lot of chicken but my boyfriend barely had any chicken on his when he went on a separate occasion. I guess that's why they don't specify what's in it on the menu they probably just toss what they have on hand. The menu says "Order to find out..." Service is average and wait time was average. No praise or complaints there. Interior is like any fast food spot, not abundant seating but enough. Seems like most just take it to-go.

I would rate this 3.75/5, I ordered online, and it was ready in 30 minutes on a weekday around dinner time. They are made to order which is why it takes longer compared to other chains. Like others, I always saw the ads for the Philly location but was not willing to go into the city for a chicken sandwich so it's really nice they have a location in the suburbs. My friends and I got the #1 (1 slider and fries) and #2 (2 sliders with fries) and confirm they are the same size burgers so the #2 can be easily split making the total around $7/person making it affordable. The regular fries are heavily seasoned making it a bit too salty for my preference, but the sandwich is solid. I don't think it's anything too special and is overhyped but I would get it again because of the convenience and cost.

I am updating my review and lowering it to 2 stars based on my 2nd time ordering. I ordered the EXTRA HOT one slider, one chicken strip platter and made my fries loaded. My biggest problem with Asad's is (as a person who loves spicy food) if you ask for spicy all they do is add more of the powder which makes the chicken unbearably salty and powdery. Nobody wants to bite it into some powdery chicken. THE NEXT DAY I GAINED 7LBS DUE TO THE SODUIM CONTENT!! My body puffed up including my legs, hands and feet and my blood pressure shot through the roof. I knew the food wasn't the most healthiest however it almost landed me in the hospital. ASAD'S SHOULD USE DIFFERENT SPICE SHAKERS FOR SPICINESS LEVELS TO REDUCE SODIUM NOT ADD AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF THE SAME SEASONING. The seasoning is absolutely delicious, but the salt level needs to be adjusted for each spiciness level ordered.

Order the loaded fries, a milkshake and a strawberry banana smoothly for $33. There app was not working so I waited over 35 mins for something for something that should have taken 5. When I went inside and spoke to the women off at the counter she pulled it off a shelf. I asked how long it had been sitting there and should her there app that said the food was still being prepared and she said 10 mins on so. I opened the bag and the food was cold. I told her the food was cold and she shrugged her shoulders as if to say oh well. She was dismissive. I told her I'd keep the drinks but asked to be refunded to the food. Another gentleman came out from the back and after I explained what happened he notified me that they do not update the app when they are busy. The store only had 2 customers so I don't understand the busy part however, he did have the kitchen make my food again. Overall the food was okay but I was not happy with the service.

Ok... let me make this quick. I went to the location on the boulevard, two different times only to leave after waiting in the line for a half an hour and not even being able to order. So I was excited to find out about this new location which I hoped would be able to provide service and a reasonable amount of time. I was able to walk into the place and order. However, it took an hour for my chicken sandwich to be ready. This is too long. ASAD's DO BETTER. There is no discernible difference between the sandwich you get it Asad's and the spicy chicken sandwich that you would get at Popeyes. The only difference is that you wait for five minutes at Popeyes and for an hour at ASAD's. Why? It's possible the reason for this is that because the restaurant is almost entirely staffed by teenagers wearing crocs . I spoke with a woman who seems to be the manager, and while she was pleasant and understanding of my issue, she did very little to help. Here is another thing, they are calling the sandwiches sliders, and they are not sliders. By anyone's definition, a slider is a small sandwich. These are not small I couldn't eat the second one. Maybe the service would be faster if you only cooked one sandwich for everyone instead of two for absolutely no reason. To be fair, the sandwich was good, but again it wasn't good enough to justify the hour wait when you could get almost exactly the same thing from a Popeyes immediately and a very close approximation at Chick-fil-A as well. An HOUR for a chicken sandwich. They only sell two products out of the store, one is fried chicken and one is french fries. I happen to know that a commercial deep fryer cost about $400. I don't understand why they wouldn't have a few more back there full of chicken so the customers can get their food in a reasonable amount of time. At the end of the meal unfortunately, I noticed that there was hair inside my container. (See photos). I didn't bother to bring this up to anyone because I didn't have another hour to wait for another sandwich. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:30, received our sandwiches at 9:30. That's pretty late to be eating a spicy sandwich and I had savage heartburn for the rest of the night. Please consider my experience and use caution when deciding to go to Asad's. It's not like the food that they make there is good for you, so seriously just save your time and go to Popeyes. I really wanted this place to be good. Super letdown.
