I have used this location for a number of years. Last month, I had some work done and presented my Care Credit card to pay for it. I just got off the phone with them telling me I have a balance due because they decided not to use the card that I provided. I presented the card on the date of service and they made note of it. I went to ASAP dental care in January 2026 as a new patient since I just moved to the Jacksonville area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I arrived they ran my insurance, saw I was out of network and proceeded to say NOTHING.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If I had been made aware I would have sought treatment elsewhere but I never got the chance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was met with a nasty surprise a few weeks later. 2 out of network claims totaling $518 in addition to the $150 I already paid for a gingivitis cleaning. Thankfully my insurance company would only allow $58. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I contacted the office to discuss this, Jeremy was incredibly rude. He told me that this was all my fault and it is not their problem or responsibility to inform their patients if not in network.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Talk about terrible customer service, blame the customer after you scammed them and then show zero compassion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He also informed me that only 2% of his patients have ever complained about this. That's strange because they have a 2.9 star rating on Yelp and have several many reviews where people have claimed the exact same thing I am. I doubt the Jacksonville Jaguars withhold pertinent information in order to force their fans into a corner and pay them the way the "official dentists of the jaguars" do. Maybe if the Jaguars knew, they'd denounce the company and refuse to host an ad for this company. Avoid this place like the plague, they are completely committed to this deceptive scheme of billing you as much as they possibly can after purposely withholding your network status at the front desk. We were botched, then had to files claims against Cherry, Bank of America, and ASAP dental. Neither Cherry, nor ASAP will refund you, so I encourage anyone who's having issues and used a payment plan, to PLEASE REPORT TO THE PAYMENT PLAN. ASAP does not follow nor honor their contracts with their payment plan providers, so the payment plan providers need to be made aware of issues. I will never ever go back to ASAP Dental again. They weren't professional. They charged me $102 dollars just to be seen. #1. They didn't do a cast of mouth, to make sure my partial fit perfectly. #2. I had this tooth to come off before, and the Dental I used, they replaced the Tooth within 1 hour. ASAP said they had a Lab, but I had to leave my partial overnight. #3. Next day, I put the partial in, the tooth was uneven.Because they didn't do a cast of my mouth. #4. The Dentist sand down the tooth, but did polished the tooth, my tongue could feel the rough surface of the tooth. I still feel a little roughness on the Tooth now, even though his assistant tried to smooth the Tooth out. read more

Do not be fooled by the glowing reviews you read about ASAP on here. $28,000 (paid $15,000 down, put the rest on my credit card) for a four on post. The local anesthesia the used did not work well. Ended up being awake the entire procedure. We went back 3 or 4 times because the bite was incorrect. After reshaping, the bite was never quite right. After a few months one of the teeth broke (zirconium) and had to get it fixed. $200 no warranty. After 12 months the lower denture cracked. Again, no warranty, cost me another $430 to get it fixed. about 6 months ago, the bottom piece is cracked again and the tooth they fixed fell off. This time, we had 2 different dental clinics examine the bottom plate. Instead of a metal core, ASAP used mesh. The also told us the teeth are already worn down from the bite being incorrect. Both places told us the bottom is beyond repair due to shoddy workmanship and the mesh ASAP used. So, now we are fixing to pay $3,000 (financed) for a new bottom plate using a metal core from another provider (with a warranty!). I feel extremely disappointed and let down by my experience there. The people there are extremely nice, but this was a very expensive lesson to be more diligent. Looking back, I honestly feel like we could have went to the clinic in Mexico for better care and a better product for 1/4 the cost. read more

Went in for my free exam and cleaning. Tried to charge me over $700 for a deep cleaning brace of some stains. Always complimented on my teeth so I mean definitely nothing major. They pulled a tooth a few months ago and then quoted around 7600 for all the work, well within those few months I apparently got way worse because now they told me I need over $32,000...I'm in sales and I could see it happening as they were inspecting me, all the things they don't scare you, but the bait and switch is just the worst thing a business can do while trying to earn my business. I have an extreme fear of dentists due to a visit many years ago (elsewhere). I ended up with a dental emergency, and chose asap on 103rd in Jacksonville. I was honest about the last time I had seen a dentist and my reasoning why. Dr. Imani, as well as the team that was with me, were very wonderful, understanding, kind, and patient. I never thought I'd feel comfortable being in any dental setting ever again, but this visit genuinely eased my fears and anxieties. Update to previous review. Yes Paul is arrogant and rude as heck. He isn't customer service friendly even though he bragged about being the "head of surgery" up front with that other person. This place doesn't care at all about service only money. When seeing if they accepted insurance they simply stated "that will take too long". All they care about is pushing own agenda and money. They charge hundred of dollars for deep cleaning even with their insurance (700 per quadrant). If you decide not to go with them for cleaning they get rude and imply you don't have money to pay. Emergency or standard care pass on this place. There are other emergency dentist places or better regular dentist for regular exams/ cleaning. Plus it is cheaper for same cleaning. They also apparently recommend things you don't need. I already scheduled an appointment with another place for cleaning after exam and service was way better. 0 out of 5 all around here. read more

I called this practice and was told to come in,, I had done similar before with the other front tooth, so I figured a quick bonding. I went to them today for a wisdom tooth extraction. It was my first extraction since I was like 18 and I was super nervous. If you could imagine a 31 year old being dramatic-- that was me. Very fast and efficient. Nothing fancy, but they seem to have all the necessary and latest equipment. I had a jaw tooth extraction and have had no pain or complications. They fitted me for a bridge, $1,600 before the extraction healed and I can't wear it. I will eventually have it adjusted so hopefully I can wear it. I am very disappointed in the way my son's treatment was handled in this office. He is a college student in Jacksonville and needed emergency dental treatment. He called this office and explained his dental insurance (Solstice) would not be in effect until August 1st, but he was in pain, and would pay for X-rays, out of pocket to expedite the process. He was scheduled for tooth extraction today. When he called in, to provide his insurance information he was informed that the office does not take Solstice HMO, only PPO. NO ONE in the office told him that. In trying to find another dentist, he was told they could not use an X-ray from another office, so he attempted to call ASAP Dental back to ask for a refund, since no one told him that they did not accept his insurance. Lindsey (office manager) said it is "usual procedure" to advise they take most Solstice PPO plans, but not HMO. She said she would listen to the phone calls to see if that was the case. When asked if she would refund his money if they did not advise him they couldn't take his insurance, she said they still would not be able to do that. I feel this is really unethical on the part of this office, and they are taking advantage of college students in the area, at least they did with this one. read more
