I was referred to a painter, who I did hire,( although a paint choice by designer for one room clashed drastically with existing trim-we had discussed this prior-and I had to eat the cost and have it repainted.) After leaving several messages with the design assistant to schedule follow-up for product selection and layout, my calls were never returned and I never received the promised design plan or follow-up meeting. I needed a few fill in items for some shelves and a centerpiece for a table. I wasn't dressed in fancy attire because I'd been decorating and putting finishing touches on my new home. I was finally approached by a lady who acted as though they were bothered I was even there. I went to my car to get the pillows from my chair and sofa to match the items. The two older ladies were INCREDIBLY RUDE. Not wanting to have a thing to do with me until it was almost time to close, then they treated me as if they just wanted me gone. I went up front and asked an extremely nice young lady if she'd mind helping me find the items I was looking for because I'd looked all over the store for them and couldn't find them.  A couple came in while I was there and one of the ladies greeted them, treated them wonderfully showed them all over the store and guess what? They didn't buy a single thing. I, on the other hand was looking for specific things spent over $600 and was treated like I didn't exist. The young lady who had been behind the register earlier would have gotten five stars from me, however because the other two were so horrible they ruined that for her. This is the second experience I've had at one of these locations. The other was at the east Cobb location. I walked out and did not buy a thing there because I walked by three staff members and was never greeted, however, they greeted every other person that walked in the door while I was there. I was also in yoga pants that day. I swore I'd never go back in one of your stores again. You need to understand that every person that walks in is a potential client. It's too bad that you stereotype that way. I'm a 7th generation native of Marietta and our family is pretty well known in the area. I professionally organize, stage and decorate homes.
