This gem offers wonderful craft coffee and plenty of snacks for a quick grab and go. I was really impressed with the Lavender Latte. I picked up two tacos for breakfast before heading to work and found those to be pretty good as well. The only reason it's not a 1 star: the food is delicious. Here are the issues in overall satisfaction this morning: 1) order for pickup via DoorDash at 9:26 2) for pickup the order promise time was 9:44-9:59 (15 min for 2 lattes, breakfast sandwich, and everything bagel with cream cheese). I could possibly believe (maybe) 15 minutes order prep for in store order if very crowded. 3) arrived at location, no line at register. 4) 5 staff members standing around not helping with customer orders. 5) sandwich was made separate from bagel and had to ask if bagel was being prepared at 9:51, 25 minutes after order was made. Why offer online ordering when it does nothing but triple your wait time. 7 customers walked up, ordered and received said order in the time we showed up to served. Parking is terrible. Had to risk getting a ticket from the business next door just to pick up my coffee. Service was friendly and atmosphere was nice but practically wasted $7 on the mushroom drink since the spice was so overbearing I couldn't force myself to drink it. Honestly a pretty terrible experience. I'm in town for business and just wanted to stop and grab a quick coffee and bagel. I walked in, no one in line, stood at the counter for almost 10 mins before any of the girls working even acknowledged I was there. Finally got my order in. Simple latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The coffee took 20 mins and the bagel another 10 to come out. I'm sorry but that's crazy. I recently visited this coffee shop and really loved it. The inside was nice and spacious despite it being a rather small coffee shop. The interior design is a kind of industrial, rustic look with cute succulent touches. The coffee is average priced coffee but it's quality coffee in my opinion. I had a caramel iced latte that was not all sugar. It was very good. I had no problems with the customer service. In fact the employees were very nice in my opinion. It was quiet enough to read and not be distracted in the shop. I cannot wait to come back! (Excuse my book of choice lol, I work at an elementary school.) read more

Another great find on Yelp. I was staying at a nearby hotel and in search of non-Starbucks coffee - 84 Point is great! It's tucked in the ground floor of a high rise near the entrance to Greenhill School, which could be tricky to spot, but Waze got you right to the front door. At 7:15 on a Friday morning there are a lot of parents taking kids in before DropOff, but they moved everyone through the line in a friendly and super fast way. I ordered a latte and breakfast tacos to go, but they have a large seating area and wi-fi if you want to stay and enjoy. The breakfast tacos - I ordered one veggie and one bacon - were delicious, as was the salsa; the veggie was my favorite (and it wasn't potato, but chopped up bell peppers). The latte was also good (and not bitter like Starbucks!), and prices were excellent. Would definitely recommend! read more

When I think of Dallas and the AMAZING CITY that it is, I think of the atmosphere of this coffee shop. Everything about it just screams all of the things that I love about Dallas. The furniture, lighting, and overall ambiance of the inside are all great. The red cups bring out the much needed color contrast of the walls and tables. The bags of Ascension coffee beans on the walls bring out the fact that these guys are serious about what they do. Imma just say this as a disclaimer: when I try a new coffee shop I disregard the prices usually, a good if not great latte should be between $5-$6 (or more i guess but im a broke college student). And I also try the most popular latte on my first visit. Today I got the Honey Lavender Latte. It was smooth, the coffee was live, but but but it was wayyyyyy too sweet. This is my favorite coffeeshop ever! I am a regular and I like to sit and do work. Great atmosphere and seating inside and outside! Employees are very kind and take COVID precautions seriously. At some other coffee shops or restaurants I've seen employees take masks off while preparing my food, but this location would never! Furthermore, they have distanced the tables so some spaces are reserved. There have been times where guests sit at the reserved tables too close to me and do not adhere with distancing, but the employees always promptly (and very nicely!) direct them to other spots. I have been going to this location for the past year. Everything is high-quality. My go-to coffee is a flat white. But their drinking chocolate (hot-chocolate-but-better and I add a shot of espresso) and the matcha lattes are so rich and amazing. A lot of coffee shops (like Native and Starbucks) make their matcha from mixes that are too sweet. Here, I can tell it is high quality matcha. Breakfast-wise, I recommend the Australian hand pie (puff pastry with egg and sausage) or freshly baked croissants. I also love the Kale salad. Overall, all the food and drink options are great. This was definitely a drug made with love. I ordered an almond croissant and an iced latte with almond milk. It was amazingly delicious. I was able to sit and study for 2 hours with no distractions. As busy as it was inside, people actually used their inside voices haha. This place was quite interesting, for many reasons. I stopped in with the singular purpose of completing some work. First thing I noticed - it wasn't quite like the photos. They have booths that are slightly padded, ans chairs with old wooden seats. Aesthetically, it was pretty cool. Comfort wise - not so much. Now, I must say - my pet peeve is when coffee shops ans restaurants that try to make that "third space/place" vibe thing happen but are skimpy on the electrical outlets. Obviously, this place is meant to be a place where you can sit, enjoy a cup, and do some work on the old tablet computer. Noooot so much here. My companion and I struggled to find a spot near a plug. When we did, it was not convenient. Anytime another one opened that had a closer one to a table, it was either on all wood seats or was pounced on by EVERYONE else that was awaiting a plug to open. If you are stopping in, or aren't worried about having to place your computer settings on "dark as night" while you work to save battery, the coffee is certainly worth a few swigs. I always take mine black, and it was very satisfying. The bathroom is unisex, and looks like a closet. They have small cups, water, sweetner and creamer in the very back when you walk in. Salads, sandwiches, canned colas and teas are in the cooler. They have mexican coke and diet coke. It's free wifi (shoutout to that awesome third space/place facet) and the code is written on the wall in chalk by the water station. The construction is warm rustic decor, concrete floors and a black industrial ceiling. As one might imagine, that creates a loud environment. I was there from 9 until 4, and my companion and I had to sit very close and speak loudly to see one another. Overall, the place had a cool vibe, was clean, and did the job for the day (granted I did get a plug). I am not in Addison often, so I don't know if I will return, but it sure was a good cup of coffee. read more

Loved the barista crew active on 10-08-2021 at noon time! I came in and was greeted by good natured welcomes and most importantly, I left with the best cup of iced cold brew in my hand. SECRET TREASURE of this joint--Cold Brew + Cardamom syrup. The unique sweetness of cardamom balances out the sour acidity of the iced coffee like bread and butter. No half and half or milk or creamers. Although my food was pretty good, my coffee order got jacked up which was NOT ok, as I found the lady working the counter VERY pushy. I was barely in the front door when she started hounding me to order. Having never been to this place before, I needed a minute to get my bearings and see what they were offering. So instead of getting an extra hot coffee with 4 shots total for HERE (I'm not local and I'm here on business, just wanted one nice morning where I could drink out of a real cup) I received a lukewarm latte with the bare minimum shots in a to-go cup. The lady and the barista guy were too busy chatting each other up that I couldn't even get their attention to ask if it was my latte on the bar. I know they saw/heard me, and after a while she looked over again and shouted "Yeah! That's yours!" And went back to chatting. Ok, tattoo lady. Rude. I really really wanted to like this place, I need a Starbucks alternative when on business in Dallas. This place is NOT it.
