My appointment was confirmed at 4:30 PM. Drove 1 hr for this appt. to be told that Dr. Gabor had called off & they had to reschedule. They said they called me but my home phone had no message & my cell phone had no message. I asked if I could see the P.A., but denied. I am not going back to this office. Beware & go elsewhere.

I recently was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and have started a medical regimen with Methotrexate. Dr. Kim was extremely kind and helpful, he patiently answered all my questions and is slowly ramping me up on the medication. It's an immuno-suppressant so you get monthly blood tests to make sure your system can take the medication. The pain seems to have died down except for occasional twinges. Brand new offices and great parking with a small but friendly staff.

I had waited 5 weeks from my first appointment for some updates and not received any. This office was very rude and arrogant. They hollered and screamed at me for no apparent reason. I've never seen anything like it before in my life. There was no professionalism at this office. The main receptionist literally yelled at me to leave, screaming on top of her lungs, "GET OUT- GET OUT!! I was mortified. I left and had to calm down for a moment due to this verbal attack. My thoughts were to speak to the manager. I quietly went back in and the manager, Mr's Ho came to speak with me, respectfully. I explained the situation one more time, and she assured that the next appointment I have will be for a signature and to speak to the doctor and everything will work out o.k. When the two day past, I showed up for my appointment and I was met with another violent uproar from the same receptionist, hollering again. She was accusing me of allegedly threatening the office. They refused services for me. I have never been treated badly or had any experience in a professional office like this before. I am truly mortified!! p.s. After getting my allergy testing from the initial appointment, they neglected to give me an antiserum for any outbreaks that I would get. Which I Did, hours after I left and had to go to Centra Care in the evening, to be seen for my extreme discomfort all over my face form forehead to chin. My eyes were also severely swollen. They immediately administered a shot in my arm for the reaction from the testing. They also proscribed 5 days of Predizone. Lets not forget my co-pay too!

Nothing was said to me about coming back the next day after fasting. I have a job! Why not tell me to fast before my appt? I needed an ekg that they were supposed to do 2 other times abd forgot. It was laying out on the table but then she tells me she's probably not going to do it because you're not having chest pains . The medication I'm on can kill me I am supposed to be getting it done. I have been going out to Darien until I lost the doctor out there after losing the doctor at Shoppers way that I really liked . The constant changing of doctors is a problem . Because that was her response this is a different doctor she doesn't know you that is what notes are for did you even check Darien's notes!? If a patient want something done why can't you just do it if it can be done. I will not be back there . I will be finding a doctor that I can see every time I go same doctor . I needed to switch primary doctors as mine moved to another facility further away and I had been…read morewanting to go to a center closer to home anyway. While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.
