    Beautiful bar area

Loved it. After the the Philharmonic concert, we were just looking for a quick drink and a little comfort food. We didn't expect much when we randomly walked into this place, but it turned out to be a fantastic spot for cocktails and light bar bites. The amazing bartender, Rey with rocking a cool K-pop-inspired hairstyle was friendly, efficient, and welcoming, and he made some awesome drinks. It ended up being the perfect nightcap!

My company's holiday party was held here. It's a nice spacious venue with a new view overlooking central park. The appetizers were nice especially the mac and cheese balls and truffle sliders. The main course was a buffet of hanger steak, salmon, rice, and greek salad which was tasty. We had limited open bar of just wine and beer. I would have liked to try their special cocktails.

i had my company holiday party here and it was a nice, swanky venue. the views of the columbus circle were very nice as this is on the 4th floor. the bar service was good and the bartenders were quite friendly. i will say that the drinks were extremely watered down.

Very nice lounge in Columbus circle. It's on the 4th floor so I have to disagree with all the "great views" comments, especially if you come at night. Drinks were good but pricey, lots of edible glitter, smoke, the works. They have some light snacks, I enjoyed the tater tots. Service could have been better, we came on a Monday night and the waiter disappeared for a while even though it was pretty empty.

The food was absolutely amazing, the service was attentive and professional, and the view added a beautiful touch to the entire experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Ascent bar and lounge was an absolute vibe. It is on the 4th floor of the Columbus Circle mall, which provides a beautiful view of Columbus Circle and some of the park. It's dark, elegant, the bar is beautiful with an incredible amount of options. We did not try the food menu as we had just eaten, but our cocktails were delicious and the service was outstanding. We actually ended up moving to what is called the Center Bar (it is a part of Ascent Lounge but located right next to the front door) so that we could enjoy the Holiday Lights in the mall. As you can see our view of them was spectacular. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends, they could certainly accommodate groups of larger sizes as it is so spacious in there. We will definitely be back to Ascent.

Finally made it here to try food & lounge! I came for a networking event & stayed after for food. The view is so awesome here & the ambiance is perfectly upscale & flattering. The hostesses took great care of me. The menu item I wanted, saw online, they sadly didn't have that day. Huge bummer but I hate thinking about where to eat after I settle on a place so I stayed & ordered the chicken sliders. They were different. The slaw on them made me think of an Asian twist to a chicken slider. They were good. I think I could've done with more flavor from a sauce but no real complaint. I definitely want to return here & maybe host my group here! Go, enjoy!

If you are looking for great views and good cocktails on UWS, look no further. The service was great, with multiple waitresses checking in several times. The cocktails were not cheap...but the views were completely worth it. Poison pear margarita and the Rosemarys Basil are highly recommended! Both refreshing and delicious. Ambience is also great - - perfect for a date night or catching up with a friend. The only con is that you are entering into a beautiful lounge but through the Columbus shops mall. That ruins the vibe a bit and wish they had an exterior entrance

This is a well decorated beautiful lounge. The bar is gorgeous and the service was incredible. We had our networking event there with about 100 people and they treated us very well. The drinks and food were fantastic as well. We will be going back.

Just a stunning lounge to visit. It's romantic, beautiful, intimate, all rolled into one. It's probably at one of the best locations in the world. Yes, you heard that right. The world! Overseeing billionaire's row, the views are stunning. The upbeat background music helps set the tone for the evening. All of this comes with a price, of course. Couple of drinks, couple of very small appetizers and you're in for $100. Not cheap. But, expected given the uniqueness of it all.

Came here for a friend's birthday party as they reserved a space by the dj. The space itself is super nice and comfortable to chill in. We got the below drink and the wagyu beef sliders. The drinks are definitely the star of the show, they have a wide selection that you can choose from. The small bites on the other hand are good but not the best bang for your buck, so just something to keep in mind. Also has a great view of Columbus circle if you sit by the windows. Definitely recommend if you have a big party or are looking for a birthday space in midtown.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

Dim lighting, plush seating, rich wood + wallpaper details, and that lounge-library vibe make the place feel like a secret hideout right in the middle of Midtown. It's moody, cozy, and effortlessly intimate -- perfect for a date night, a chill catch-up, or just a night out with good drinks. Nice service, too! However: be ready for the price tag. The cocktails are absolutely beautiful -- well crafted, creative, and flavorful -- but each one will remind you that you're not exactly paying dive-bar prices. It's worthwhile, but the "overpriced drinks" vibe absolutely hits. That said: the interior design and ambience are amazing. My only two gripes with the spot were - they didn't acknowledge my birthday, even with a happy birthday from my server or the hostess. I am not sure why Resy prompted me to indicate the occasion if it wouldn't even be acknowledged or looked at. It obviously feels good to feel celebrated, so they dropped the ball in this regard. The second issue is it got sickeningly loud inside. This was a sunday night, and I ended up having to shout just to be heard by the girl right next to me. Everything else was good! Though there wasn't a dish that just blew my mind, everything was consistently really good and enjoyable. I recommended ordering a handful of dishes and sharing with a group. The cornstar martini was fun (and the popcorn was great!), the vodka pasta, caesar salad, and truff fries were enjoyable as well. The cute matchboxes were a cherry on top as we were leaving!
