Location: Nees and N First St Date: August 15, 2025 Service: Dental Care It is Friday and earlier today I took my son to his first cavity appointment here in the Central Valley area. My son was Nessa as being special-needs and going to a dental appointment to have a cavity repaired, which was a lot with getting prepared to do this appointment. Once we arrive. There was plenty of parking since it was early. The only issue we encounter is that we were told that we're waiting on the doctor to perform the surgery. The doctor wasn't even there yet so the doctor was on the way. Otherwise we had an overall great experience. The doctor actually communicated with my child to ensure everything was fine and it's gonna be OK during the process of repairing the cavity. My child listened to the doctor and was able to calm their body and able to get the cavity repair work done Under an hour so overall a great day. And as we were walking out, we saw another parent walking in with her to chill small children to their dental appointment so this place is definitely kid friendly. That's great news especially a lot of Dentist will not work with kids so it's all about being patient and communicating with your clients. Astray Dental Group did an excellent job with their customers today to communicate and share any updates was awesome. read more

This office is always behind schedule and never call to let you know or reschedule. Once, they told me my insurance wouldn't cover two cleanings in one year but I hadn't had a cleaning that year. Other than that, Dr. Kaur is great. read more

I love how the dentist and all of her assistants explain everything in details before and during the procedures so you know what's going on inside your mouth :-) Not too many dentists take their time to do that so I really appreciate their professionalism! I also love the fact that I didn't have to sit and wait in the waiting room much at all. As soon as I came in , the receptionist lady asked me for my insurance card and my ID , signed some stuff on their iPad and maybe waited for a few minutes then I was called in. Super fast compared to other places. I really appreciate that since waiting is hard for me with my ADHD. The dentist lady is very nice, professional, efficient but still took her time with me. She looks so young and I was worried about her experience but she's very knowledgeable and detailed. All of her assistants are very nice, detailed and professional as well. Disturbing and disgusting behavior from Dr. Kaur and her assistant, Desiree. Completely unacceptable behavior from any working professional!! Poor communication and an embarrassing level of customer service from Dr. Kaur. Office Staff overall seems unorganized and unhappy.... The entire practice seems to be under extreme pressure. Im sure internal issue at Ashford Dental will continue to ruin the experience for patients!! If you care about the quality of your dental care, please keep looking! Racism at an all time high! Was very open and direct with the doctor before coming in letting her know that I have very minimal experience in the back and will need to be trained. She still brings me into the interview to question me and tell me that I don't have enough skills when I specifically said I need training in the back office because I'm new out of school And I've been working front office mainly at my externship site older office older Dr with low patient flow!!!! She then explains she interviews 5 people a day daily and that I'm new in the field and will interview a lot before it's fruitful! Thanks for the advice ! Not a African American employee in sight! Which let me know it has nothing to do with me not knowing specifics in dentistry that can be trained if I wasn't African American! I don't fit in by how I look not my personality! I was having an entire conversation with a patient in the lobby! Customer service skills and being pleasant is who I am!!! Can't change my nationality to fit into your office!!! At the end of the interview she tries to hand me a resume back she printed for her own personal review! Very unprofessional Dr! We came in here as first time patient as well as last minute thing that my husband had to take care of which had to have one of his tooth extracted. Keep in mind We have no dental insurance we had to pay everything out of pocket. Dr. Sidhu and his staff was very professional and knowledgeable. We were in and out in less than 45mins. I broke a molar on Thursday, Dec 7, 2023, Ash Tree Dental was the closest to me that could get me in the same day, took my insurance, and did extractions. I read the Yelp reviews and did not see anything horrible so unknowingly off I went to the unknown. The entire visit was over 3 hours between the CT scans, physical inspection, more x-rays, and finally the extraction. Dr. Grewal did not explain anything during the procedure that took over 35 minutes from when he first started grinding my tooth into sections, to finally removing the last piece that he worked on for at least 25 minutes. He cut the tooth and broke it at least 4 times. The only words he spoke were "It's loose, I don't know why it won't come out" multiple times. Packed the hole with bone for a stud at a later date and attached some type of barrier over the hole with stitches (that came loose 3 days later). THEY DID NOT SEND ME HOME WITH ANY CARE INSTRUCTIONS OR MEDS. Needless to say, I ended up in the ER that night with crazy unbearable pain. ER did a nerve block for temp relief and sent a prescription for a few days worth of Norco. I went back to Ash Tree Dental on Friday to try to get some pain meds; they gave me a script for a few days of 800 mg Ibuprofen. What a joke that was, now my jaw looks like it has a golf ball in it and hurts like Hell!!! They gave me a script for Tylenol/codeine tablets and an antibiotic but refused to communicate with my pharmacy sent several faxes for over 2 days when they did not write down the number of tablets properly on the script. Today is day 5, and I still hurt very bad, I went to them to ask for something stronger and they denied it, he told me to go back to ER/urgent care. We had some words and he walked away. I know this is long but if you are considering extractions at Ash Tree Dentistry, just be aware that Ibuprofen is all you will get regardless of pain level!!!! I also thought they were not very organized between the dentist having to call out for tools while attempting the extraction and not being sent home with aftercare instructions and meds. IMO, you are rolling the dice, be prepared for the outcome. read more

We moved to Fresno 2 year ago and I was going back to Bay Area for dental appointment because I am very picky with my Doctor and my wife did not like going back to Bay Area. All of my wisdom teeth were in bad shape. I had fractured one of my lower wisdom teeth in Fresno and I was in bad pain. I was referred to Dr. Bhatia by a friend. I called them that same day to make an appointment and they squeezed me in for 2 PM appointment. I was quite nervous because I didn't want to be in pain and I was trying new Doctor. Dr. Bhatia did quick preliminary examination and took X-Ray. After that Dr. Bhatia explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions. I decided to take out my two wisdom teeth. I was impressed by his work as it was so painless and effortless procedure. He's so nice and very friendly and makes sure everything is comfortable during my procedure. After extraction I decided to stop going back to my old Dentist in Bay Area. Today, I got my two filling done and after that two right side wisdom teeth extraction. I love Dr. Bhatia work ethics, knowledge and passion for his patients. I love this office and staff but most importantly I liked this work done on my all four wisdom teeth.
