AWESOME VET!!!!! We went there for a very in depth knee surgery some time ago and was so impressed with the doctor and the workers. They were so good with our girl and she is doing fantastic since surgery which was half the price of the specialist. I read the post by Sandy C. and have to say that it seems weird because this does NOT sound like even remotely the same place. Being in the medical field myself, unfortunately many people think they know things and push blame around with no education, experience, or proof. Honestly, if the urethra of a dog, cat, or human was "severely lacerated", walking out of there would be impossible and urine would be pouring out of the dog or person which would be an improvement because she also posted everywhere that her dog was not able to pee so it is obvious her post is either just plain ignorance or she is trying to take advantage of this place. Not being able to pee and a UTI are very different problems and coming from a truly educated medical person, the story she tells is not only impossible to happen that way medically, but her time is useless enough that she has tried to bash this hospital all over facebook, and other sites which shows immaturity and the inability to properly handle these kind of situations. It is real easy to run your mouth hidden behind a keyboard. I am defending this vet because they were and are superb with all of my animals and all of our community loves this place which is again another unproven accusation of the Sandy lady. They spayed my other pets, all with laser surgery which was so fabulous they were healed in no time. We HIGHLY recommend to try them out!! I have to tell you, Ash Veterinary Clinic has heard the people. The management team was horrible. The front desk was rude and the practice manager was incompetent but the new people handling those jobs are amazing. It takes a real owner to listen to complaints and make changes. I can't get over how different everything is there. The new receptionist is so sweet and kind. If she doesn't have the answers she gets them. The documents are high level professional, the staff is kind, supportive and understanding. The new manager is unbelievable. She is an excellent conversationalist, she is highly intelligent and she actually cares about the client as well as their pet. She is respectful and full of compassion. You can tell she loves her job. Dr. B is an owner who listened to people and made changes and I love a business like that. Dr. B's care of my pets has always been top notch but dealing with her staff never was. It is now an all around over the top excellent experience. Dr. Broschay has been my vet for more than 20 years now. She is a brilliant surgeon and diagnostician, providing excellent care. When she left a practice in Dearborn to take over Ash, I didn't hesitate to drive 30 minutes so my dogs got the very best care and attention. My dogs have had everything from Cushing's to cancer to urinary issues, and the care received was top-notch. When my one dog had a tumor on her leg and Dr. Broschay did extensive surgery. She was so stitched that I called her my Franken-dog. Considering what the leg looked like and how much work was involved, I don't doubt that another vet would have opted to amputate. Not only did she help my dogs, she helped me to understand what the diseases were and how best to care for them. Even with the health challenges, the excellent care resulted in them reaching an almost normal lifespan - which was a gift. Dr. Broschay and her excellent team will be my vet of choice for as long as she practices. read more

Dr. Broshcay and the team at Ash Veterinary Clinic truly saved my Callie's life! When my regular vet, whom I've trusted for years, couldn't fit us in despite the emergency, Ash Clinic stepped up! They immediately accommodated us, and everyone was genuinely concerned about my girl. Very early the following morning, Dr made the critical decision to proceed with surgery, and thankfully, my baby is doing great. The compassion and professionalism shown by the entire staff was remarkable. The front desk team was particularly wonderful, making my decision to switch vets an easy one. I have used Ash for almost 12 years. I have tried others as backup but they aren't as thorough as the staff at Ash. They have gotten one of our dogs through cancer, found a severe heart condition in another dog (that two other vets missed), and when it comes to surgery they are the best. One of my little guys managed to rip his side open and hid it for a few days. When I found it there was a need to do more than just stitch it closed. You can't even tell that he had an injury - the work was so good. Having been a walk in emergency on more than one occasion I fully understand if I have to wait past my scheduled appointment time (which has happened on occasion) because of an emergency. I would expect the same care given my animals to be given to any animal that comes into the practice. They are the best. read more

I am a man and I don't write reviews, but my experience was EPIC. This place is like a country vet in a little city. Kind of like Maybury on the Andy Griffith show. She is kind, she loves these animals like they are her own and she cares. It is hard to have all three of those in one person. I took my dog and cat to a different vet before I found this one. They always seemed to need more and more stuff. It was never ending and I began to feel like they were making things up. THIS VET GIVES YOU WHAT YOU NEED ALL LAID OUT AND THERE ARE NEVER ADD ONS WHEN YOU COME BACK. They also provide grooming which most places don't do. I say anyone who goes somewhere else is a fool. Take your pet to someone who loves them, I DO. Keep up the good work Ash Veterinary, I LOVE it here. read more

He was my best friend and an incredible dog. I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the things Ash has done for him over the years (since 2007). We were blessed to meet Dr Broschay and blessed that she was able to save our sweet dogs life that no one else could diagnose. Then we were told only a specialist does such a complicated surgery. My friend told me to check with her and her love, care, stayed with our dog all night after surgery proved to us what a great place this is. Yelp really needs to put up current reviews. Not 5-10 years old of people who can't spell or form proper sentences. Most reviews are not believable but I would never take my dogs anywhere else. Go to other places and you will see what I mean. I brought our dear cat, Isabelle, here as she was very ill. We were treated with respect as pet owners as well as Isabelle. Isabelle never liked strangers so it was difficult to treat her at times without having to hold her down. This vet did everything she could for Isabelle. We had to face eventually that she was not going to make it. We never had a problem with anyone there. When she began to really suffer due to cancer they got us in right away to take care of here suffering. Unfortunately, she passed on the way there. I am currently looking for another pet, and I will take that pet there for all of its care. read more

GREAT STAFF! I've taken my pet to other clinics in the area and haven't gotten the same service that I've gotten at Ash. From the girls at the front desk to the vet, I feel that they truly care about my dog. They greet her by name as she comes in the door and everyone stops to give her a pat. I know that she can be a handful, but the staff never make me feel bad about this. I know sometimes there may be a wait, but I know that the doctor is spending the same time with another pet that she does with mine. Highly recommend Ash Veterinary Clinic! read more

Great doctor. Goes above and beyond. Great staff. My dog loves all of them. Honest and trustworthy. Any of the recent posts are from friends of an individual that was not qualified for a job and had all 5 of her friends post bad things to make herself feel better (and that was confirmed). This veterinarian is got to be the smartest vet I have ever met. She does the newest procedures with laser and creates a better healing for my fur baby. Her staff is so friendly and they instantly love your animal. She and her staff are compassionate and loving. I would trust her with my real baby quite honestly ... she's that good. If you don't take your animal here then you probably don't really love them enough. read more

I've been taking my lab to a very expensive veterinarian over an hour away. I stumbled upon Ash and Dr. B. and cannot believe my luck. My dog has never received such great care. I can't believe the price difference. At the other place, I felt like cash sitting in a chair, now I feel as though they really care about my dog and my finances. I have been using Ash Vet Clinic for years. I see a lot of negative reviews here and I can't understand it. My pets have always had the best care. They treat us and them like family. I recommend Ash Vet Clinic to everyone. The doctor has saved the life of several of my cats. Always with full recoveries. More than I have the right to expect. I do not recommend this clinic, not only because the incompetent people that work there , but mainly because of the insensitive, arrogant and HORRIBLE veterinarian that owns this clinic. Do your fur babies a huge favor and find a better veterinary clinic, there are so many more to choose from that are so much better for your pet. Any place is better than this dive. read more

My husband and I have been taking our 3 dogs, 4 house cats, and all of our barn cats to Ash for over 12 years and everyone has always been absolutely wonderful. I had an emergency with my dog and they were able to fit me in right away. The doctor was in surgery, so there was a bit of a wait when I got there. Even though it took a while, they were able to get me in and help me get my dog's ear infection under control. He feels so much better now! read more

I'm surprised at reading all the bad reviews for Ash. I've been taking my pets here for years and have never had an issue. They are definitely not the cheapest vet around, so I sometimes use the traveling vet for vaccinations, but I will always bring my pet here in case of an emergency. read more
