I only choose to go to Ashe and nowhere else. I've been coming here for over two years and visit at least twice a week, sometimes more. As of today, I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Lately, the exit entrance has been blocked off with cones. In the past, I've entered through there without any issues, and the security staff have always been polite and welcoming. Tonight, around 8:30 PM, a security guard shined a flashlight at me after I parked and told me to leave. It wasn't busy at all either so I'm not sure what his problem was. I explained that I've been coming here regularly for years and that no one had ever given me a problem before. Instead of handling the situation professionally, I felt singled out and treated like I was doing something wrong. Consistency and customer service matter, especially for loyal customers who visit multiple times a week. I've seen many people do this all the time and there has never been an issue. I am a regular at this dispensary and today I was very disappointed. I was helped today by Danielle and the interaction was good until payment time. She rang me up, had me pay and then backtracked and had to charge me an extra $4 for the computer not pricing one of the live resin carts correctly and i was charged TWICE for a credit card fee and I don't think that's right because it was on her and the computer system that I had to be charged twice. Why am I paying the credit fee again because of your mistake? Very disappointed. She wasn't up front about the charge either. Felt very sneaky and I think I'll stay away for a while. Go here if you want to get charged more that the actual total, with a bunch of made up fees, Bait and switch, no prices listed on any products on the shelves, a $4 round up fee, a $3 atm fee, + $3 ATM bank fee $10 extra in undisclosed fees made to confuse you at checkout, they dont sell the items for the price advertised, bro was like oh we just put that price to advertise our specials, why then dont you put the correct price. There was 2 girls at the front desk when checking in, but the bigger chick was rude. When I checked in it felt like I was buggin their conversation and when I got my ID back I was wondering if I had to wait or if they were gonna have someone available. And the bigger chick rudely told me to just take a seat when I asked her if I should wait. And when the guy behind me checked in, he also had the same question and she gave him the same attitude. First time customer and was helped by Brian. While he was friendly I didn't appreciate him making up prices that were different to what was posted on the website. As I was getting a first time 'discount' I didn't call him out because .. Once I went to pay I did the math in my head and he was asking for about $20-25 more than should have been charged factoring in website listed prices, applicable state taxes plus the first time 'discount' - I wanted to see if he would give me the paper receipt ... predictably he didn't. My guess is he saw a new customer who (he thinks) wouldn't know the online prices and is trying to pocket some extra cash. I know times are tough so I didn't say anything and let him keep the extra $20-25. It was a small price to pay to see an employee and a business show their true color. For a business where customers could potentially spends thousands every year, I don't think $20 is worth risking losing a customer - but that's what happened. This is my favorite go-to dispensary! A huge shoutout to Darieus for helping us out on 7/14/24 -- he answered all of our questions to the best of his ability (I unintentionally threw some hard questions at him like preferences on certain gummies!). Darieus was friendly and helpful all throughout! :) When you walk in, everything looks super nice, clean, and is decorated in a modern aesthetic. They check you in at the front desk and a budtender is assigned to help you. What I love about this place is that the prices are relatively low compared to other places. I also love their delivery system and used to order to have it delivered home a lot because I worked from home at the time and it was more convenient. I've noticed that 85% of the time, I'd have really great interactions with whoever I called at the store to order from as well as my delivery driver! They're super kind and happy to help, and my delivery driver always gives me real-time updates about when they'll arrive. 15% of the time I unfortunately have not the greatest interactions with who I believe is the same guy who rushes me through my order and doesn't sound happy to help. He usually sounds annoyed right off the bat and rushes me to finish my call order, sometimes almost missing a thing before I finish my order. Despite that, everyone else has been super amazing. I really recommend this store! It's a great place to save while getting quality service and using safe, trustworthy products! read more

Not what it used to be. I'm not sure what's happening here but in 2024 this place has gone downhill. I've stopped paying with card, because sometimes they give you your cash back other times I guess they just steal it? I was supposed to get $3 back on my last purchase & didnt- I usually put it in the tip jar anyway, but it's nice to feel like you're not being robbed. CUSTOMER SERVICE is non-existent (unless you happen to get one of their OG budtenders) I swear the women they hire are either haters of other women or so lacking in knowledge and common sense it hurts. For example: The girl put the wrong flower in the bag- we drive from Aliso Viejo to support this place, and they said we couldn't return it if we didn't come back today... it's freaking after 5 and rush hour. I've come in fairly regularly now because of the good deals I see through Weedmaps. The PNP pods don't burn through too fast which is why I keep coming back. Most other places I've tried, the pods seem to melt out of itself. It would cause such a sticky situation that would really annoy me. When I tried them here, my issues completely stopped. I didn't say much about how the battery was actually defective before bc I didn't want it to seem like I was just making stuff up after the manager refused to exchange it (even though they were out of stock of the color I ordered and didn't inform me they gave a substitute), but I want to mention more now bc my experience has been aggravatingly infuriating not only do my partner and I get straight WHIFFS 90% of the time we try to hit the pen (like can you imagine the frustration of an empty hit each time when literally the $5 micro-usb battery bought elsewhere from forever ago is still reliable? the whole reason I cared so much about getting a good one from ashe was bc theirs has usb-c charging) I really wish I could say it was user error, but after trying to make their defective battery work so our money wouldn't go to waste, this also happened with at least 3 carts (see pictures) yea maybe this affected me way more personally than it should've, but it really just boils down to the terrible customer service interaction I had with that one manager. all of this could've been avoided had they just exchanged the brand new battery. I was already overlooking the nonrefunded counterfeit bill I had received in change, the shutting down of delivery, and the uninformed product substitution. instead, I'll always remember this place with disdain and feel a repelling force from it. read more

Ok deals here but the front desk ladies are always rude. They sold my boyfriend a micro bar that was burnt and refused to exchange it or give store credit. On the phone call, we asked if we could exchange it for another item and the lady said yes. But it was up to her higher up what that item would be. And upon arrival (a 30 minute drive from Irvine) they said they could not exchange it unless it didn't emit smoke or was leaking oil. We told her the pod was burnt/foul tasting before we even made the drive there and she said we could exchange. Horrible customer service, I would rather go to Jade room, Packs, or Mr. Nice Guy. They allow you to browse freely and appoint multiple budtenders to answer your questions at your discretion. And they also have excellent deals and sweet, welcoming, and helpful staff! read more

I had a great first experience using pick up and the first time customer deal. After that, I was so excited to come back to pick up again and this time actually head to the dispo in person. I just knew when I walked in, I wasn't going to be helped thoroughly. The worker didn't really care and seemed annoyed to be helping me. I even told him something prior and he still got annoyed with my transaction. Didn't put my item in a bag either and didn't know prices. Just stated "I don't know, 30 something or $40" and didn't even bother to check. Pretty disappointed, not sure if I'd go back anymore. And the pod I paid for was a lot more than it stated. Like, part of customer service is not wasting your customers' time. The workers here are super chill, easy to talk to, always very friendly. But the system management has setup has repeatedly shown its incompetence and i will not be returning. on 4/20, before i entered their very long line, i wanted to ask if they still had the product i came to buy. Management instructed their workers both not to answer such questions and to prevent customers from going to physically look if they had the product in stock. Result? I waited 20-30+ min in line to find out the product wasn't in stock. Today, i order online pickup at a dead hour in the middle of the afternoon on a wednesday. They had one guy working the pick up booth, and at least 5-6 staff in the store. The entire store was empty for customers except for me and the customers ahead of me also doing pick up. The one guy working was doing his job excellently - engaging with the customers ahead of me, showing empaty, building good will. Doing that takes time, which includes my time i'm spending waiting there. The idea I can't be checked out or helped by the numerous other staff doing nothing, once again, emphasizes the incompetence of management Like, it's really difficult to get staff that fit a particular vibe, engage with customers, act like they're genuine, and you have staff doing that in spades. Your management is doing a huge disservice to the store and its employees when they have stupid policies that cause customers to leave the store feeling frustrated in spite of that. there's my essay, folks. read more

Buyer Beware: use your WM login when creating your account on the ASHE website! I was fortunate enough to learn that the hard way today after creating my account, trying to place an order and getting stuck at a phone verification because I'm not receiving the text. I realize that because my number is tied to a different email on WM that must be the issue. Cool, lemme logout and sign in with that email and get things moving.... Nope, when you sign out there is no sign in page when you try to log back in, just automatically logs you back in to the account you created YEA NO SECURITY!! So now, I use a different number to complete the phone verification process to place my order. New account = discount right? Nope, technically I shouldn't receive the discount but who's gonna say no right. I get a confirmation of my placed order, only to find out when I get to the shop my discount was removed and my price is now $40 more. I politely explain the situation with all the hoops I jumped through to give ASHE my business and would appreciate if they would honor the discount to show appreciation for receiving my business. The manager politely heard me out and started there was nothing they could do, great way to tell your customer to shop elsewhere and oddly enough both Stiiizy & Catalyst are minutes away. Hope the discounted price ASHE saved with me was worth the loss of this customer and the public education it has resulted in. read more
