This is the most amazing Dr I've ever met! He is so thorough but quick. He does an extensive exam with a soft hand and efficient measured. It may not be pleasant having a camera inserted down your nose but he makes it as painless as possible. Dr. Wadwa and his staff and been extremely professional to work with. Dr. Wadwa does a great job of making me feel comfortable and explaining the various treatment options. He also openly discusses the pros and cons of each option, clearly stating the risks. Based on my personal health, age, skin type, etc., Dr. Wadwa made his recommendation, yet ultimately accepted my decision, of course. During my first visit, Dr. Wadwa found something unrelated to my visit that required a biopsy, eventually requiring additional treatment. I'm happy he found it before the condition became more serious. His staff is diligent at follow-ups and returning phone calls. Generally don't review a Doctor because they seemed to all know what they're doing, but after getting the same surgery for the second time I can tell you that this time I can see the results and they are outstanding. I'm able to breathe now throughout my nose and not from my mouth. The service was not just great but wonderful the nurses are amazing always friendly and helpful. I have ear wax that builds up a lot, especially due to wearing hearing aids. Putting in mineral oil, etc., and flushing does not work to remove the wax; I tried doing that for years. The only procedure that really works is the use of a suction device which is like a vacuum machine for the ears and only ENT physicians have those devices. I looked around and read quite a few websites for ENTs and was impressed by Rancho ENT in Poway, run by Ashish Wadhwa, M.D. He charged me $200 for an initial examination that included a hearing test, along with the suction procedure. I was impressed with his professionalism, including the front-desk receptionist, who was very nice and friendly as she juggled phone calls and visitors. Once a patient pays the initial $200, they charge $50 for follow-up visits. I do not know of any other ENT physician who offers that. It is a bit of a drive to Poway for me, but I do not mind because of the savings for future visits. (I live in the San Diego community of San Carlos.) They also take credit cards, which makes the initial payment somewhat easier if you do not have the cash or a check. read more

I came to Dr Wadhwa with a severe bleeding issue, which was frightening to me. He knew exactly what to do and prescribed a course of treatment that worked better than I ever hoped for. One time in the waiting room, I had a conversation with another patient who lives in Temecula and comes down to San Diego to see Dr Wadhwa for appointments. She told me she'd suffered from sinus headaches for 30 years and had been to one ENT after another. Finally she was referred to Dr W by her internist. No more headaches! This is an incredible doctors office. The entire office is very upfront about all charges. In fact they explain each procedure in detail and you even have to sign saying you understand the procedures and charges. I went in to see Dr. Wadhwa last month for dizziness and a sinus infection. His office staff tried to get me in quickly and made sure that I had all the information I needed prior to the visit. The doctor actually spent time with me! He was so good at explaining what was wrong in a way I could understand. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a good ENT.
