I called and spoke to Simone who was very helpful and was able to get the order in before the cut off. The flowers from the photo sent to me are beautiful and the recipient told me that the delivery gentleman was super nice and went over and beyond to help her with them. My loved one is ill and was alone when they were delivered. The gentleman helped her them into the house, unwrapped them and placed them where she was to po ot them. WOW! What an incredible florist! They have a fabulous selection of flowers and ask you what you would like/envision for your recipient and subsequently create the arrangement on the spot. Ashland-Addison also has some amazing cookies (butter chocolate-chip) made by a local bakery that was a huge hit! In completing your order, they actually send you a photo of the floral & gift right before it goes out the door. That florist told me to call back, they were busy. I called to order flowers to be delivered the following day. I described what I like, and the man on the phone was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The woman who received the arrangement was thrilled. They used gorgeous flowers to make a sophisticated arrangement without any cheap filler flowers or greens. My family has been using Ashland/Addison since they were actually on the corner they're named after, and they have never disappointed! From our wedding reception, to birthdays and Mother's days, the flowers are always beautiful, well preserved, and actually assembled when delivered (unlike other 800 number florists). They also have great customer management systems. After ordering, they send a photo of the arrangement so you can see what is being delivered. Upon delivery there is a confirmation email.
