Apparently, this business is under new management. I can't comment on that because this was my first time there . I made an appointment for Manny ended up getting a Mani Pedi I found the service to be very professional and extremely well done. The only issue that I experienced was a distinct language barrier to the point where we had to use charades to communicate for the most part.. I had a very weird experience in that one of the nails did not seal and the gel polish popped up I went back the next day and it was fixed promptly and with a smile. My pedicure was for 4:30. I soaked my feet for a good 20 minutes before the pedicure actually started... It was a good pedicure but by the time it finally started, I was over it. My pedicure was finally done around 6pm. I had a gift certificate from 2023, but it stated "no expiration date" on it. When I went to pay, I found out that the lady took over the business about 2 years ago. She said that she'd "honor" my $40 gift certificate for $20. I got the Deluxe Pedicure ($50) and gel polish ($16). I didn't give her a tip, they already got a $20 tip... I won't be back! read more

If I could give a 0 star I definitely would! The lady did not listen to what my friend requested. The nails were bulking, uneven, and all around awful experience! She went back in to talk with them about what she recieved vs what she got and she was met with gaslighting "You" statements and blaming her for how they came out. After all the blaming the woman put onto her, she trimmed down the nails and painted the French tips awfully. My friend tipped this woman 30 bucks just for taking up her time and she still left displeased but clearly her work was not going to change. Been getting my gel acrylic nails done here with Brian and gel toes. He always asks for cash and a bigger tip.I used my debit card, last 2 times as I didn't have cash on me, and he told me the bank fees are too high, and was mad at me for using debit instead of cash. I Then tipped $20 for 2 pedicures (my mom and i)to cover his fees. I was not happy and will most definitely not ever go back. read more

It's been 4 days since the last time I visited this place. I was on a work trip when I felt that it would be nice to treat myself to a gel mani and pedi. I googled this location and walked over, when I arrived they asked me if I had a buffer and a nail file. I was complete clueless ! Not sure if this is an Oregon state nail thing or what but I'm from California and never had I been asked to provide either. However, it was kinda nice since it's personal personal hygiene and what not, ($2 for each bu the way). As I mentioned I'm from California, Los Angeles and I normally pay about $30-$35 for the same service that I received here. The gel mani didn't feel like a true manicure and gel polish more so like a like nail file here and a nail clip there and time for the gel coats. Once everything was done I ended up paying $52 ! I was so shocked that's what I normally pay it I want acrylics and a gel pedi! I wouldn't be complaining if my gel mani suddenly turned into a faded pink and beige color and chipping just after 4 days. read more

Meh, not that great. Two stars for the staff/friendly atmosphere! Zero stars for the length of time my gel French manicure lasted. Three of us all got mani /pedi over a week ago and my French gel nail manicure barely lasted 2-3 days before chipping. Sadly I have had this same experience at other salons --- it's the crappy brand of gel they use (DND). It does not last!!! Pedicure was fine, but I'll skip the mani or go elsewhere next time. I was here yesterday, the guy who did my nails was fast and nice, but he failed to mention that you get charged extra for length and that I wanted a matte finish. So when I went to check out I was charged an unexpected extra $20. And the nails are horrible quality, the gel top coat wasent completely dry yet when I left and got ruined. And they are uneven and even had bubbles. It's been 24 hours and the polish is trying to peel off. Definitely not worth the $70 they charged me. read more

I was caught up in the moment when I gave my 1st review. I wanted to like them but honestly both times I have gone there I've had to go back in to get something fixed ie they forgot the gel top coat on one nail. When I went to get my fill they gentleman must have been having a bad day. He nicked me more than once causing soreness and trimmed around my nails way to close causing pain. I've never has so much discomfort with a set of nails that lasted the entire wear time. Won't be going back. read more

I've been to about a dozen different nail salons since I first got turned on to it; I've had good, bad, and mediocre shellac manicures. I've even had a few weird ones where someone punched my arms. Whatcha gonna do, you know? This place isn't crowded, which I like. I don't like getting my nails done at a costco-vibe nail salon where the hussle and bustle leaves me feeling invisible. My nails look great. That said, the woman who did my nails never told me her name and didn't force a lot of conversation which I also like. The way I see it, there's two kinds of people that go to nail salons; there's someone who goes to have good shit done to their nails and isn't interested in telling their life story (me). Then there's quirky people who go to get their socializing on and want someone to talk to. I think a key plus to a good nail artist is being a me to pick up the difference between the two. I docked a star because the woman who did my nails stated five different times that my nails would look better if they were longer. I equate this to the salon to get your hair dyed and having them say "this dye job would look better if your hair were longer" which is both irrelevant and not very complimentary. I will probably go back here because my nails look very nice and they were willing to do a design I really liked. read more

Went here last week with a friend and they were awesome! I was super frustrated because I live in Grants Pass and NONE of the salons there could take me that week. KB nails was the first place I called in Medford and they were able to get me and my friend in for mains and pedis that same day just an hour after we had called. They did an awesome job on my gel mani/ pedi and my friend got a gel pedicure and acrylics and was super cute happy with her service as well. This was my second time going here as well as my last. My grandma & I went here to have our nails done- she got a mani, I got a mani & pedi. Total was $100. I had to tell the guy who works there FOUR times what we were there for & he wasn't even paying attention to what I was saying- very rude. After the pedi I reminded them I was also getting a mani, the lady said she didn't know. So, after a group of 4 women came in, the lady who did my nails sloppily applied the polish as fast as she could & finished in less than 10 minutes. After going back home & looking at my nails, the polish looked aweful, it wasn't even completely covering my nails & was all over my skin which allowed the polish to start to peel. We had the gel polish applied which normally lasts 3+ weeks on the nails. After 5 days both mine and my grandma's gel nail polish is mostly peeled off. What a ripoff! Will be taking our service to Star Nails & Spa next time for their quality service & consistency. read more

Absolutely DO NOT recommend. Bryan is very rude and gets upset if your tip isn't large. They have a debit card machine, however Bryan gets irritated if you don't pay in cash. He was 20+ min late for my last 2 appointments and just canceled my appointment for tomorrow because he double booked. I made my appointment 2 weeks ago. I will NEVER go back. That said, staff there is friendly so if you enjoy a chat during the pedicure, you might like that. Owner doesn't make time for appointments. I would make appointments a day in advance, have to wait 15 minutes, and have my time split between other customers. Paid with cash and left a tip every single time (they get visibly upset when you pay with card) but this always happened. My recent visit, when I got up to wash my hands he put a walk-in in my seat and moved my bag, I had to stand. He then rushed the rest of my nails, sat back down and told the walk-in "sorry", but did not apologize to me? They do decent work for cheap, but the customer service is severely lacking and unprofessional. I won't go here again. read more

went in with a friend for a mani, pedi. you probably won't get a walk in appointment because it's just a husband and wife team. shop was very clean. couple were very friendly. they didn't talk in Vietnamese much, a plus as that always makes me feel uncomfortable. I thought I had found a permanent home but when I got home I noticed my nails seemed rough on the tips and I had to take a file to them. later that night I noticed one was broken and chipped. have no clue as to how that happened, I will probably give them another try and see if a second visit will be better. prices were same as elsewhere and they didnt say a word about using my card or the tip. Was visiting Medford and this salon was closest to my hotel. The gentleman that did my pedicure cut the bottom and heal of my foot being incredibly rough. He scrubbed my feet with a pumice stone so hard I had to ask him to stop. Also, pedicure polish chipped in 3 days. I've never had that happen. My gel polish manicure lasted 1 week. Again I've never had polish crack and chip like this. I wouldn't recommend this salon. read more

I'm from San Diego and I've gotten my nails done numerous times. I came as a walk in early in the morning and got assisted right away. Brian did my acrylic and gel nails and he was so fast! I've always dreaded the acrylic because I'm used to having my fingers bleed and hurt from the shaving but he was very quick and it turned out gorgeous. While I'm pleased with being able to get a same day appointment I really don't like that 3 different people worked on my nails. Right after I sat down I told the first person that I changed my mind and wanted a different color than the one I told her 5 min before. The colors were similar glitter colors but she didn't change to the new color and I got the original color. It is nice but had only 1 person been working with me I don't think this mistake would have happened. I only noticed the difference when I got outside to leave. I really wanted the 2nd color choice and I even showed the 2nd person (a guy) which one I wanted. My second issue is with tipping. I don't feel the proprietor should make a comment about the tip; tipping what ever amount is my perogative. I will most likely not go back. read more
