I went with the 10" Portuguese Pizza ($14) which sounded interesting and it was hot & ready in about 25 minutes after placing the order. The pizza was loaded with lots of different toppings including tomato sauce, ham, tomato, peppers, sausage, corn, green olives, bacon, eggs, onion, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese on top of a soft light crust, mayonnaise dipping cup on the side. I enjoyed one slice of pizza on the spot and it was very filling and heavy to eat. I ended up eating this pizza over the next couple days, reheating a slice at a time in the oven.

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.

We also had some chicken and veal parm which never disappoints. A couple guests ordered the shrimp cocktail at $16.25. One gentleman ordering it assured me it was well worth the money. You only get 4 but they were some of the biggest I've seen in a restaurant in a long time. When done you bring your check up front to pay. I found it convenient. We'll definitely be back again soon.

On previous visits I've arrived based on the quoted ready time only to end up waiting significantly longer. It hasn't stopped me from coming back because the pizza is consistently worth it, but I'd recommend giving yourself a little extra time if you're ordering for pickup.
