We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.

Crispy and tender with delicious hot peppers added in as well. For the main courses we got the Chicken Piccata severed over Gnocchi which was good but nothing special. Gnocchi were a bit denser than we like. Our other main was the Seafood Paella. On the plus side it had a lot of seafood in it, mussels, Shrimp, Scallops and a white fish. All of the sish was cooked well and was tender and juicy. However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

I did not know there was a Brazilian style for burgers, and Marao opening up recently gave me a place to learn more. What is a Brazilian burger? In addition to the regular lettuce, tomato, etc, there is corn and potato sticks added to the mix along with Brazilian sauces. Ham and cheeses are the norm for most folks, but we skipped those. I expected something spicy, but that is not what is "standard". We added onion rings and fried plantains as sides. Way too much food for two people! How did Marao's do? Pretty darn good! The burger was a bit overcooked for my liking, but everything was fresh and very flavorful, especially the meat. There are times that each taste grabs center stage as the toppings and large toasted bun were very, very good. You need an oversized bun for the oversized beef patty and for all the toppings. We could only eat half the food and ended up having another burger meal for dinner from the leftovers. I swear the tastes were better after being reheated! And they have green bottled Coke. This is food prepared to order, so you will have to wait a few minutes at one of the tables. Others may be faster but these burgers are worth the wait. I really enjoyed my special meal, and will be back before getting any older! They are worth giving a try.

I placed an online order through DoorDash recently. The pricing may vary with the store prices, but since I had a special promo code from DoorDash, I ordered on the app. I received 30 percent off the total with a DoorDash promo. I ordered a Chicken Parma with Spaghetti ($10.99 plus tax) which was a pile of thin soft spaghetti with minimal red sauce and a breaded chicken breast cutlet topped with mozzarella cheese. I also got 3 Mini Round Pizzas including a Meat (Carne) ($1.49 plus tax), ground beef on a soft dough crust, thick on the edges. The Spinach Cream Cheese ($2.10 plus tax) was cream cheese and chopped spinach on a soft dough crust. The pickup time was originally quoted as 22 minutes after ordering, but I received a text from DoorDash that the new pickup time was 35 minutes out. However, I decided to fuel my vehicle and clean up my phone apps as I waited until the new quoted DoorDash pickup time. When I approached the counter at pickup time, they told me the food had been ready almost 15 minutes ago, the original pickup time. DoorDash has been screwing up lately and I did notice two different times in the past of what the restaurant sees and what the customer or Dasher sees on the DoorDash/Dasher apps. For a Dasher, the later pickup time is great since the food is already to go and no waiting for the driver when they arrive. As a customer (not as a delivery driver), this ticks me off and DoorDash really needs to change their system. When an order is actually packed and ready, the restaurant should be able to have the ability to press ready to pickup on the tablet and the pickup customer is notified immediately.

The entrees, the salads, and all the apps are also phenomenal, again with high quality ingredients and sophisticated flavors, and their burger is definitely the best in Metrowest. Their only flaw is that someone in the kitchen has a heavy hand with black pepper and red pepper flakes tend to appear too frequently, so I always make sure to ask for no added pepper. The specials are not to be missed, unfortunately they're only served on the weekend, and the special desserts--oh my! Kudos, Jack's Abby! We sat at the bar per usual and shared the half nachos (+ candied jalapeños and chicken). We love the way their nachos are served and honestly the portions are huge and very generous. We couldn't even finish the half nachos between the two of us! The nachos are always LOADED and have such unique flavors. My favorite cocktails at Bourbon's are: Saturn (not currently on the menu but they are typically still able to make it), Clear Intentions (clarified Mai Thai with the most incredible flavor profile) and Freezer Door Martini. 10/10 recommend all 3 of these but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.
