The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

her flavors are very poor and taste is not good…read more I ordered an expensive cusyom cake which only looked okay from outside. From the inside, it was a disaster. I had ordered a plain sponge cake with coconut layer. And the baker put big raw chunks of coconut as layer instead of adding a crème layer. As someone who is a professional baker, this was so poor to bake a dry sponge cake with raw and big coconut chunks. When I reached out, she was defensive and blamed me for picking a flavor not listed on her menu. this is even sad because I didn't force her to bake this flavor but requested if she can. I just feel that if you are a novice baker, you shouldn't overcharge and under deliver. Just let the customer know beforehand about the experience.

The owner was extremely nice, but not only that, she waited past closing time as I was traveling from far away and she was very understanding and stayed open past her closing time so I could pick up this desert for my girlfriend, which is almost unheard of. Upon taking the first bite of this desert our eyes rolled back as the sensation of a beautiful combination of Gulab Jamun and Tres Leches cake collided with sparks and fireworks. It tasted absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and will most definitely reorder from here again. I scored BIG points with my Indian girlfriend, Thank you!!

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

If you are looking for wonderful pictures, wonderful ambience, then this place is totally worth the visit. However if you are looking to eat delicious food, then this place is definitely not it. Their crepes are premade and after visiting them 2 times, the only thing I think they are doing is reheating and serving them. First time we went in, we ordered the Ricotta Crepes. These came in looking beautiful but they were extremely hot on one side and cold (almost from a refrigerator) on other side. Clearly precooked & refrigerated but then microwaved and the whipped cream and fruit compote was added on top. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

Hey hey... this place is really pretty darn good and if I could do 4.5, I would... I really…read morevacillated between the 4 and 5 star rank because there are so many things that are right about this restaurant. But there is something missing...? Maybe it's just a wow factor. The food is solid and I've eaten at a LOT of Indian restaurants. Just mostly before doing any reviews it's pretty much my fave, just not a lot where I reside. I digress! Service was good we only waited a few minutes at the front before someone realized we were there and from that point we have been pretty well attended to. Waiter was attentive and its busy Mother's Day Holiday. The ambiance is nice, clean, comfortable, upscale, decor is mood setting, music is spot on. What is boils down to is the food... it's good, but is it the best Indian food I've ever had? Well, sorry no. The base flavor is great, but something felt like it was missing? The vindaloo spicy could be a LOT hotter, and it's got a lot of tomato. Usually when you have the sauces over time the spices just dance in your mouth and you get different hits of things and I felt like something was muted? The back end complexity I'm used to isn't there. But don't get me wrong-we will likely be back because the food is solid and a close enough drive. Great location. Maybe I'm being too hard? But it's one of my favorite foods. The boys loved the hearty large pieces of meat... I was less of a fan but saw their view point, e.g. more filling, less dry. The chutneys, kinda standard fare until you get to that spicy one and then WOW! That's amazing! We got a mild, medium and spicy leveled sauces. For your average foodie that doesn't eat "spicy" food I would say it's spot on... for someone who is looking for something nuclear, how do they request that?? Need to know how to order something REALLY spicy... bring the pain...!!! Barely broke a sweat on the spicy vindaloo and spicy coconut chicken... but tasty! * we talked about it on the way home and we were thinking maybe because it was Mother's Day weekend. There was high demand so the sauces might be a little young too? Might not have had enough time to really flourish and simmer. Naan was yummy and fresh. Chai super flavorful and rich. Lassi was solid great taste, not really chilled so if you are looking for a chilled lassi, just be aware... The other thing I noticed as far as service goes there was nothing that just came out with the meal. I'm kind of spoiled and that I've gone to Indian restaurants... usually have something served on the house like a papadum or naan bread or raita or rice with meal? Granted it's been a little while so maybe this is something that's going away with the times? Hope they will have fennel on the way out. *update they didn't but that's OK. They had candy. :)
