I've been coming to this salon for a while, but unfortunately this will likely be my last visit…read more I showed a photo of pink and purple flowers for my nail design, but the technician painted the flowers white without asking me what color I wanted. When I pointed out that the flowers were supposed to be pink and purple, she appeared frustrated about having to redo them. I apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I thought the white was just the base color that would be painted over. After that, I felt uncomfortable with how my service was handled. While doing my cuticle work, the technician nicked my skin twice, and toward the end of the service seemed to be digging the cuticle cutter into my fingers more aggressively. I brought the cuts to management's attention before leaving. I also had concerns about the pricing. My total was $122, and I was told I was receiving a $7 discount, bringing the total to $115. However, the salon advertises a cash discount, and when I offered to pay cash, I was told I could not receive the cash discount because I was already receiving the $7 discount from fingers being cut. This was confusing and did not feel transparent. To be fair, I do like how my nails turned out, and I tipped both technicians because I appreciated the work that was done. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the final result. I have experienced similar issues here before, and after this visit I don't feel comfortable returning. I've included photos of the cuts on my fingers as well as the finished nails so others can make their own judgment. I also included a photo from a previous time my cuticle was cut that I brought to their attention which hurt very bad and received a $5 discount.

He's done my builder gel, dip powder, and now Gel X; he truly does it all. He's incredibly personable, friendly, and a total perfectionist. He always makes sure I'm 100% happy with my nails before I leave. Holly is my absolute go-to for pedicures. Between her and Ken, I always leave feeling relaxed, taken care of, and refreshed. The salon itself is always clean, the music and atmosphere are such a vibe, and I love that they always offer a drink (I never say no--their white wine always sets the mood for me). I genuinely look forward to their new colors and releases, and I trust them completely with my nails. Highly recommend Ken and Holly if you want amazing service and a place that feels like your go-to spot.

My nails looked like wide eggs. The tech told me it was because my natural nail base is wide and that they "would've looked better longer"--something they absolutely should have advised me on before starting. Because I had my 3-year-old daughter with me (who also got a paid service), I left and called them from the car. They explicitly told me to come back and they would redo them. When I drove all the way back, they flipped the script. They refused to redo them because I left the store. I asked for a simple reshape instead; they said yes on the phone, but once I walked in, they refused again, saying it would make them look worse. It wasn't until I demanded they just take them off completely that they finally agreed to reshape them. Please look at my media. The photos show they look way better after the reshape (going from wide houses to almond), meaning they lied to me just to avoid fixing their mistake. Furthermore, the video shows the terrible application: the nails are angled upward instead of flat, and the pinky is totally crooked. It is a horrible feeling to be treated this poorly by a business you have supported for years. Never again. You first said you could redo them and then said you couldn't. Leo didn't not want to reshape them till I told him to remove them. You did absolutely nothing to help in this incident and only embarrassed me as a customer. Do not come in here talking about policy when you disrespect your clients. Shame on you for your poor response and service.

I was surprised by how few veteran-owned nail salons there were, so when I found Trendy Nail & Spa, I knew that was the place. I stopped by in person to make a reservation for four. The owner was was incredibly welcoming, and even though they were fully booked on what looked like a very busy Saturday, he made room for my group. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Even with a full salon, the place never felt rushed or chaotic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and were genuinely happy to be there, which I knew it would contribute to my friends' experience to be even more enjoyable. The ladies had an amazing time, and their manicures and pedicures turned out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and customer service were outstanding. This place gets a 10 out of 10 from our military family. If you're looking for a salon with great people, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service, Trendy Nail & Spa is the place to go. Semper Fi! How they have so many positive reviews is beyond me. If you take time to scroll, you can see they also have multiple negative reviews due to hygiene issues, causing infections, appointment issues, customer service issues, and others who have had issues with Tracy directly. There are also tons of fake yelp reviews that yelp does not recommend. You can access those at the very bottom. Reviews from accounts that have no other reviews and no yelp friends. I debated on whether or not I was going to post this, but nobody deserves to be treated the way Tracy treated me based on a blind assumption. Please think twice about coming here. You get what you pay for here and that's why they have "deals" Monday-Wednesday for 4 hours. Every time I went in some poor lady would come back upset because her nails broke 2 days later after getting her manicure or within 5 days. They'll blame you every time for it too. Their facility is not clean at all and the restroom there will confirm it. Their nail products are old and expired as well. They'll play nice until they get called out for their lack of consistent work and blame you for the nails not lasting long when it really is all about how they prepped your nails. You're not saving money if you're having to go back every week and you're better off paying an additional 20 dollars for a longer lasting manicure.

I have tried many for many yrs and they are not as welcoming as them and the service given is extraordinary, very friendly they give water and snacks out, their prices are just right and their place is really clean and such peaceful. I highly recommend them! Ask about discounts they work with you and sometimes offer return discounts and 10% discounts too!!! I get my pedicures done there all the time and just got my haircut and im extremely satisfied and happy, im not one to recommend a spot if I truly dont like the place or people. I have been an returning customer of this establishment for the past few years. It has been hard for me to trust people with my hair and nails, but these ladies have put my mind at ease. Christina does the best eyebrow waxing and I always request her! Erin is my favorite nail tech, she always takes her time to perfect my nails. When we walked in, the salon was completely empty and there was only one technician sitting there. I actually had a bad feeling and almost left, but we decided to give it a try. Instead, the massage felt like the technician was just lightly touching my legs instead of actually massaging them. She also ruined the shape of my nails, leaving them rough and sharp. Even worse, she cut my skin, and now my big toe is painful to touch. I'm also concerned about whether the tools were properly disinfected. My daughter's experience was just as disappointing. She got a gel pedicure, but the technician ruined the nail shape and applied the gel poorly. The polish didn't even cover the entire nail. She was so upset that she cried the whole way home. If you're looking for a decent nail salon, I would not recommend this place. This was our first visit and definitely our last.

Along with that, my hair color faded. It is normal for hair color to fade, because nothing is forever permanent. I was surprised that it lasted for a long time, so I will take it as a good sign. I wanted a plummy purple this time. She did it in a fashionable manner. I didn't want the purple all over my whole head because I want to keep the natural vibes. Instead, she did a balayage.
