I paid $300 for highlights and color ,unfortunately they damage my scalp very bad I went to my doctor and they prescribed me an ointment for my scalp with severe burns and burns over a large area of my head. I take long time finding a good place to do my hair and then this happen. read more

My first time here and I loved the experience. I went in for a haircut , didn't want my hair too short and I explained that to Bertha, she cut my hair exactly how I wanted. This is the best place for everything from hair, nails, makeup, and make overs. My daughters and I have been coming here since the place opened and have been beyond happy with our experience every time. When I was looking for a drastic change I knew where to go. I cut my hair from waist length to just above the shoulder, changed the color and added high lights. All I had to do was show Bertha a picture of what I wanted and she knew just what to do. She also taught me some trick to tame my new do. If you want a legit mani and pedicure this is where you need to be. I've been getting them done for years but I've never been as happy as I am here. I feel like every other place I've been tried to rush me out the door to get the next person in. Not here, here you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. I am very picky in how I get my nails done. I pick at my nails a lot and do my own manicures at home so I guess I would say I'm very nitpicky in how I do my nails. I came here a day before my wedding and let me tell you bertha and her daughter did an amazing job on pampering us! Berthas daughter was actually the one that helped me and she spent at least 1.5 hours on each manicure and pedicure, getting every cuticle and such. Normally at other salons, they spend about 45 mins on each. It was very satisfying I'm sad I don't live in the area but I honestly would drive all the way to Berthas for another self pampering. read more

My mom has been coming here since the 90s and i started going when my hair adventures started in 05. From getting perms to red hair to highlights (pix attached) etc and I have always been completely satisfied. Also if u are not sure of what color tone to get, they help u choose and even give their opinion, which is always a great honest one. This place was amazing!! Best haircut I've ever gotten. I had not cut my hair in 2 years as im picky and many get too scissor happy. I had the mom and she was so great and sweet she knew exactly how to flatter my face shape. I've gotten so many compliments and am happy to have a great hairstyle. :) read more

I sent my daughter here to get her eyebrows waxed and an up-do for prom. They are AMAZINGGG! They even fit her in to get her makeup done. The process were beyond reasonable! They start at $25 for an up-do, Anywhere else i called started at $60. Makeup was only $25 with eyelashes. This is definitely our new salon. Not sure how to post pics. Excellent service. I was visiting Knott's Berry Farm resort from San Diego and I needed my hair and pedi service. After reading the reviews I went there and let me tell you, I received the most humbling experience from Ms Bertha and daughter Marisol. Very humbling family, caring, and gentle in all the procedures. They have demonstrated professionalism in service and skills. I came here a few months back, this place is awful. Then lady who did my hair kept on talking to other people and wasn't really focusing on my hair. She took about 6 hours to finish my hair. I wanted a ombré hair but it ended up looking gold with highlights. My hair was really shiny she made it look like a wig. On top of that, they said the most they were going to charge was $110 but ended up charging me almost 160$ for some crappy hair. I am very disappointed in the fact that I picked this place to dye my hair for the first time ever. Just so they can mess it up. I am definitely paranoid to go somewhere else to get my hair done. What a great experience! We were trying I find a place close to the Marine Ball and our hotel! It is always scary going to a place you don't know with stylists who don't know your hair but we were pleasantly surprised! We both had styles picked out from a photo and they did an AWESOME job!
