1 Star (Only because I had to select a star to post) I have never dealt with anything like this in my life. I purchased furniture on 5/19/2026 and was told it would arrive two days later. It never came. No one from the store contacted me to explain the delay. When I called, I was told the furniture had been damaged and that a replacement would arrive on 5/26. It didn't. Over the next several days, I called multiple times and was given different delivery dates, including 5/27, 5/28, and finally 6/2. Throughout this entire process, the store rarely provided updates and eventually stopped answering my calls altogether. I was left constantly chasing information about furniture that had already been paid for. What happened on delivery day was the final straw. The delivery team initially told me they couldn't bring the furniture into my home. Then I was told it could be done for an additional $450. When I offered $300, they immediately agreed. That raised serious concerns for me because it appeared that I was being asked to pay extra for something that should have already been covered. When I contacted customer service and explained the situation, I was told, "Oh, absolutely not, that's not right," and they contacted the delivery team. Based on that response, I felt the request for additional money was completely inappropriate. The only positive part of this experience was Hassan, who was professional, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. He was one of the few people who actually tried to assist me. From 5/19/2026 through 6/2/2026, I experienced repeated delays, poor communication, inconsistent information, dismissive attitudes, and an overall lack of accountability. What should have been an exciting furniture purchase turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. I was referred to this store by someone else, and even they were disturbed by how my situation was handled. The furniture itself is beautiful, but the customer service and delivery experience completely ruined my first impression. I will not be purchasing from this location again, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience. read more

I was truly impressed! From the moment we entered the store until the moment we left. Our salesman was there for us, knowledgeable, personable, professional and a gentleman. He knew his business. He knew we were young and just starting out and explained everything. He anticipated things we quite honestly would have not thought of and could have ultimately been a very costly mistake. It's nice to be able see a large selection of beautiful furniture in an absolutely beautiful environment and don't feel in anyway rushed or pressured. The store is very easy to move around in wether you're 6 or 76. From play areas for the little ones or rest areas for tired ones (it's actually a quite large showroom) or wheelchairs for older ones. Surprisingly, everyone there said "Hello" and seemed very happy that we were there. The manager was introduced to us and actually thanked us for coming in and purchasing. All in all, I have to say it was very rewarding experience. We have told our friends about the store and suggested that they take a look when they are shopping for great furniture at a great price. We have more rooms to do and will definately go back and see our new friend "the big guy" again! read more

OMG, I just received my brand new apartment. And I decided to check out Ashley Furniture. I walked in and was greeted with a standoff present by M**&!. He appeared to seem uninviting and not willing to assist me with my needs. I continued to walk through the entire store with no assistance. When I asked about a canopy bed he told me they only had one. So I walked back to the front of the sales floor when I grab the attention of Brian. He was my savior orange dress shirt and stated, What would you be interested in today? With a delightful smile I shared my interest and he was so sincere that Ashley's Furniture had just what I had been looking for. It took less then 10 minutes to get the paperwork process for credit approval and I had moved on to the best selection of mattress. As Brian would describe it it's like Golde Locks and the three little bears. I hop from mattress to mattress til I feel asleep and in love. Thanks to his attentiveness I meet the phenomenal Phyllis she was a gem in her own right. She walked me through Ashley's Polices and Additional Services. Wonderful prices and great displays. The customer service support I received from Cindy was exemplary to say the least ! From the moment I walked into the store she welcomed me with a warm and friendly demeanor. She proceeded to inquire about what it was that I was looking for and gave precise suggestions based off of my answers. The furniture pieces that she suggested made me feel as if she knew me all of my life and knew my exact taste. She knew exactly what I was looking for and satisfied my shopping experience. Cindy was so sweet, caring, understanding and considerate of my spending limit. In all honesty, I only went in looking for a dining table. However, I not only left with a dining table but also with a new living room set and bedroom set !! Way to make a sell Cindy ! I left there extremely satisfied knowing that what I picked was well worth it and that my salesperson was so helpful and friendly. To say that my husband and I had an amazing experience at Ashley Home Store would be an understatement. We were having a horrible day with furniture stores telling us we would have no luck getting furniture in to our new home by Christmas (we are hosting!) We were almost ready to give up but then a guardian angel, Calvin (our sales specialist) walked in to our lives. He approached us without being pushy and gave us a few words of advice. His advice was so great, we decided to have him help furnish our entire home! His expertise (20+ yrs. in the biz) is something that I know we would never find anywhere else. Being first time home buyers, we needed a lot of direction and he was AMAZING! And the amazing-ness did not end there. Through the buying process and shipping he kept in contact and made sure we would have everything in time for the holidays. My husband and I had been looking for furniture to put into our new home. We've been to plenty of furniture stores but found Ashley's to have better deals nd awesome customer service. Our store representative/sales person was a very helpful and very patient person. My husband and I couldn't agree on anything. Our sales person just smiled and kept telling us to take our time. According to my husband we were in there for like 2 hours. Guess what? I didn't see the "oh boy these people face from our sales person. Finally, I got my way and bought the bedroom set of my choice. Me and my partner had an incredible experience at the Ashley Furniture of Linden. Jason Posso assisted us and it was all because of his incredible customer service that we left as happy as we did. Jason was not the typical sales guy that smothers you as you shop or makes you feel pressured into making a decision. Any question we had he was available, he recommended pieces based on the room and style we were looking for. This was all while helping several customers throughout the time we were in the store. My partner and I needed some time to discuss our options and actually left without making a purchase that day. Jason was very understanding. The next day we came back to the Linden store to specifically work with Jason. Greetings definitely recommend this place when you go ask for Hassan he was the salesperson who helped me. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and he asked me if I needed any help looking for something. He let me walk around and look for whatever I was interested in and gave me my space when I was ready to ask questions he also came around and he answered all of them. I didn't buy anything that day because I wasn't ready but when I was I came back. I was a little in a hurry because I had to go to work and I asked Hassan if he could please make the transaction quickly. Hassan along with his manager Meddy did a great job getting me out in time for work. This was one week ago and my furniture is now coming this Tuesday I'm satisfied. We bought a couch and love seat, along with a rug for underneath the coffee table. The sales rep was helpful, knowledgeable and he was NOT pushy at all. The delivery came on the scheduled date, and in the timeframe stated. After receiving our items, we realized that the size of the rug we had ordered was not the correct size. Without ANY problems, Scott the manager hooked us up! Not only did we exchange the rug to the next size up and we only had to pay the difference in price, we took the floor model rug home with us which was hanging in the back of the store, Scott helped carry out to the truck! I had no problems whatsoever with Ashley. They have beautiful furnishings, and the price was perfect. Thanks again to the people in this store that made our living space so beautiful. read more

I visited the store today in Rahway NJ to purchase den furniture. I was immediately greeted by Sales Associate "Melvin" who was extremely professional, polite, personable and respectful. His product knowledge was very impressive as well as his poise and demeanor and his manner of dress was impeccable. I have been shopping at Ashley for approximately 2 decades and I have never had the experience with any other sales person like I had with Melvin. I sincerely hope the corporate office knows what an asset he is. I really appreciate Ashley Furniture being patience helping with my situation. I was having challenges finding furniture that would fit into my daughter's apartment building elevator. This was becoming a frustrated situation. The sales representative, Barry Dixon, was really helpful. He was professional and friendly. Customer service is always top notch and Barry was more than willing to assist me, no matter what I shopping for! My husband were looking for a new mattress. We just so happened to be riding down Rt1 and saw the Ashley store. We went in and as we made our way to the mattress section we were approached by one of the salesmen. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He answered every question we had about every mattress. We didn't purchase anything that night but we came back a few days later. Not only did we purchase the mattress, we ended up getting an entire bedroom set and pillows as well. We couldn't be happier! What a great selection at the store, from great prices to beautiful styles. You won't believe the size of this store. The friendly, knowledgeable and patient sales lady suggested for my family style the "worry free protection" and what an idea! I thought it would take years to use it and to my surprised the first week of the sectional being at home my daughter stained it with grape juice and with this protection service it was taken care right away and no worries. My sister needs a mattress now and of course I will take her Ashley at the Linden store so she can choose from such a huge selection and great prices. read more

As I walked into the Linden Homestore, I was greeted by an Associate Kelvin Bello, who was super helpful, polite, patient, and demonstrated great customer service. I was very indecisive of what I want my son's room to look like, so I kept changing my mind each time I decided on a product. Not one time! did Kelvin show any annoyance or frustration with me. He was right there with me all the time price checking, offering suggestions, and pointing me to product I would not otherwise noticed. I wanted to take the time out today to thank Salesman by the name of Manny. In late August I came to the store just wanting to browse around to see if they had a queen Mattress and box spring on sale. The Sales Associate Manny was kind in not harassing me for a big sale. He assisted in showing me and testing the mattress (sitting/laying) all the Queen Mattresses in the storethat were on display. I was able to decide on my own what mattress I wanted to purchase. i had a wonderful time at ashleys the other day. HUGE STORE!It was so neat and clean inside the store and the furniture was beautiful. My sales associate knew almost everything about couches.The deals they had were pretty good. At first i didn't want a lighter couch but they have an awesomely unique protection plan that sounded great. I tried out their bedding gallery and these beds were serously some of the most comfortable beds i have EVER LAYED ON! I had shopped for an affordable sectional that met my needs at several major and minor furniture stores in the area. This place, by far, had the best selection and the quality was great, some other places had cheapy stuff. I'm very picky when buying things for my home, and this place had several sofas that I was happy with. The sales people were helpful and not too pushy. He was very professional and helpful!!!He showed us one section where they were and then took us around and showed us where others were.
