We ordered an accent cabinet on November 25th with a scheduled delivery for December 11th. The main issue with my rating is that we received a confirmation text and voicemail on December 10th confirming the estimated delivery window. My wife took off of work for the day to ensure someone would be home for delivery, but on the morning of delivery, she received a call from Ashley Furniture stating the piece was damaged and they could not deliver damaged furniture. This is all fine, except for the fact that I would have expected them to have checked to make sure they could actually deliver the piece before sending us the confirmation so that we would not have wasted our time taking the day off. Now we have to wait an extra week and a half to receive a new piece. In addition, since we received the confirmation text on the 10th, we went ahead and cleared the space for the new cabinet and the TV that will be sitting on top of the cabinet will now be resting on the floor for the next week and a half. On top of this, while ordering the cabinet, we were first told the price was $560 after their discounts. I had already pulled the piece up online that showed the price was $499 before discounts. The store matched the price online, but the main concern is that had I not had the online price pulled up, we would have paid $60 more than necessary. Do not buy from this store the sales men are not honest and will tell you anything to get a sale! I was sold a $3500 in bedroom furniture and was told it would be delivered on 11/19! I waited all day from work and Know one showed up! I tried calling multiple times and was on hold for 30 minutes! When I did speak to someone I was told my bed would be delivered on 12/19, 2 months after I initially was told by my salesmen it would be delivered on 11/21. They sold me a mattress pad with out my consent and was told you signed for it so no returns! What a scam I paid $150 for something I never asked for! I placed an order with Ashley Home Store on 5/11/20 that was charged to my card on 5/14/20. Today is 6/4/20. Can not get an answer from Ashley's by any of their methods (Phone, e-mail, chat. message) calling local Ashley in Durango they can't (won't) help not even with contact numbers. Even when contacting Ashley's parent company they switch me to the voice mail number that sends you to voice mail after you hold for 15 minutes to leave a message to not be responded to after six messages left. All I want is my product or to credit back the money they charged to my card. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED. Don't risk your time and money with this company. read more

Worst experience ever, more painful then car shopping. In October 2018 I ordered 2 end tables and a coffee table. When the delivery came the the coffee table and one end table were damaged. The offered too used a color pen to fix it up. Fast forward to Dec and 6 refused deliveries, me, taking time out of my day, countless phone calls and promises to return my calls (that never happened) passing the buck as to who's fault it was. They finally got it right on December 28. They promise someone will call me to discuss all that I went through. Two weeks later I have not heard from them and I called them. They promised they'd call me back within 24 to 48 hours and again that never happened and I had to call them again. Sent me out $100 gift card to their store for my troubles. What good does that do me when there delivery is 129 and you can't get around. My wife and I went in there yesterday and bought a dining set and a coffee table and two end tables from Christopher! Picked up the items in their warehouse today and started assembling them! One of the end tables came with three of one leg and one of another. Simple fix right? Not by the girls standards of customer service at the desk! Oh I will order you a new leg! My wife and I in unison NO we drove all the way to the warehouse, either we can get the showroom table or the leg! Lady at the counter well we don't do it that way! Let me talk to the manager! This company is terrible. I bought a $2,000 sectional (yes, $2k, not the $500 cheap one). It arrive damaged, and it took 3 service calls for them to fix it as well as 15+ phone calls of them moving the appointment, confirming, etc. Yes, they eventually fixed it, but that was 12 hours of leave from work that I had to miss. Their customer service number people are rude. If you have to call them for service, i highly recommend also signing up for meditation, a therapist, or getting on Xanax. Their sales staff are nice people, I'll give them that. On the other hand, I know a used car salesman that would love to be your friend... My advice, buy from somewhere else. If you buy from them, don't forget that small claims court is a very easy process... read more

I purchased a book shelf from Ashley's and when I opened the item all the metal on the stands where dented and chipped. I have been trying to get in contact with Ashley's for over a week now and have not received any reply and when you try to call customer service all you get is a voicemail to leave a message and then have them return your call within 72 hours. No email reply or call has come in and my product will not be set up until I get a new item that isn't full to dents and scratches. I paid over $350 for this bookshelf and expect it to be in decent condition. I could purchase something second hand that would be in better condition than this "New" item sent from Ashley Furniture Store. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this retailer since they have no care or want to try to resolve my issue. I will be calling their store that is in town and will be dropping it back off for them to refund or replace my item. I am 100 percent sure that the reason my item is so messed up is because the UPS delivery driver was upset that the item weighted so much and basically did all he could not to keep my product from getting messed up. He basically threw the item out of the truck and into the back of mine. Way to go UPS your drivers suck. read more

Stop replying to my post because I wrote such a bad review Ashley. After 4 trips out here including from Serta, my sleeptracker is finally working. And the resolution only shows how inept your first and second service people were. Turns out the processor was there the whole time and was plugged into a bad outlet within the bed that the Serta person was able to fix and finally get me up and running. I appreciate that Ashley sent out a couple of people to take apart and put back together the bed, but they were late and the Serta person had already just crawled under the bed himself to see that the processor was in fact there, but not on. Yes, they are relatively lower cost compared to other furniture stores, but that lower cost comes with a price of terrible customer service. Do not shop here unless you want to waste your money. They delivered a malfunctioning recliner and have yet to replace it with a suitable one. I spoke to them and they didn't seem to care about making it right. The first replacement came ripped and wobbly so I rejected it. Now I'm consistently being given the runaround For a replacement. The last few times they schedule the delivery for last . Last time the deliver guy called after 6 PM requesting a reschedule because they ran out of time . The new delivery was scheduled for today; it is Now 5:50 pm....and. nothing .I called the operations manager at Ashley Southpark Meadows and she said she didn't have any control over how long it takes them to put furniture together and that if they couldn't get there today just reschedule again. I've had multiple terrible customer service experiences with Ashley HomeStore over the past few years, both in-store and online. From a leather sectional delivered damaged (we purchased the warranty and instead of someone coming out to repair it, they literally mailed us a sheet of leather) to a customer service representative literally not responding to correspondence about a bed that arrived damaged for over a week, to another customer service associate speaking to me in a condescending tone on the phone when I requested to not have to incur the expense of disposing of a bed that arrived TO ME DAMAGED. Worst furniture seller I have ever seen. We just moved to the US 3 months back and purchased all our furniture here across different Retailers like Living Spaces, Rooms to Go, Star Furniture and Ashley as well. Amongst all of them had the WORST experience with Ashley (Pfugerville) from where we bought our bed and nightstands. It started with the sales rep Tim-he gave us wrong info on how the bed box will look like (he said it would not show but it does show). We went back again before the delivery to verify the info and he again confirmed on this. He also committed the delivery date as 5th Aug (we placed the order in July). When I didnt hear anything from them on the 5th of Aug I contacted them only to hear that the delivery is planned for the 10th and not the 5th which was completely against what Tim told us. We let it go since we are aware of the long logistics time etc. When the bed arrived on the 10th the box was visible again contrary to what Tim had told us. We let that go too. Finally we waited for the nightstand delivery which was to have happened end Aug. When I called end Aug I was told the delivery has been rescheduled to Sept 2022 !!1 Yes 1 year later. I told them thats not ok and wanted to cancel. They said someone will call in 48 hours to cancel. No one called-after that I called them 5 more times to confirm the cancellation-no one ever followed up for cancellation. The suddeenly I got a SMS after a week stating my delivery has been rescheduled for Sept 24, 2021. I was fed up by then and didnt want to take this. Kept calling them-they keep on long holds, they phone line keeps disconnecting (have had this experience with anyone else). As of date still chasing them for a cancellation :( read more

We are building a new house and decided to go furniture shopping and spend 5k today. When we went to Ashley, no one greeted us when we entered. There were various pieces of furniture that we liked, but there were no prices on them. As we were walking around browsing, we passed numerous employees. None of them asked us if we needed any assistance. Then in 2 separate areas we had a employee ask people right next to us if they were finding everything ok.but again, no one acknowledging us. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. We ordered a bed which was delivered to our new place on August 11, 2019. Their staff looking into inventory forgot to pack bolts needed to connect different parts were missing......so we excused the delivery guys who were nice.... its the third week and we haven't heard from them regarding the delivery of BOLTS and INSTALLATION of our bed. They are sooo bad with their customer service that we didn't even felt like buying sofa for our new house from them. We bought sofa from Pacific Lifestyle surprisingly their customer service was tooo good unlike Ashley. Me and my husband are regretting our purchase from ashley!! My husband and i thought it was just about time for new bedroom furniture. After looking all over town, the bed we liked best was at Ashley. I wouldn't say that the sales experience was bad. A little rushed and the pricing is really not much better than anywhere else, but the sales experience was not terrible. The delivery experience, however, was INSANE! We were told that we could have delivery on a Wednesday. The Friday prior, my husband received a phone call asking if the delivery date could be moved 4 days earlier to Saturday.We were thrilled. On Saturday, we realized that the warehouse had never called to give us the three hour delivery window that they promised. My husband called and was told that our furniture was not due to be delivered until Wednesday. When my husband explained that he had received a call from Ashley asking to arrange a different date, the customer service rep simply told him it was impossible to deliver the furniture that day. But after my husband asked to speak to a manager, an available delivery truck appeared out of thin air! We were told that our furniture would be delivered between 2pm and 10pm that night. We rearranged our entire schedule and waited up until 11 pm Saturday night. Guess what? NO FURNITURE! On Sunday, we visited the store in person and had the pleasure of speaking with Emily, the store's very surly office manager. She claimed to be completely unable to help on a Sunday and said she would call us Monday with the status of our furniture and a delivery time. By this time we really weren't surprised that she never called and we had to call her. Emily finally did get our furniture delivered to us and she said she'd refund our delivery fee. (I'm still waiting on the check in the mail, but I'll update this later.) So...end of story? NOPE! When the furniture was delivered, our mirror had a crack in the wood. The delivery driver tried to talk us into accepting the damaged mirror and then requesting a technician to fix it. Now why in the world would we accept something damaged? We paid for new, we expect new. So we refused th mirror. That following Thursday, we were given a time for delivery of the replacement mirror. The delivery window was 5-8 pm. At 9 pm on Thursday, the delivery driver called to say he'd be 30 minutes late. Umm,,, okay. He was already an hour late then. So we waited. At 11 pm we went to bed and of course, 5 minutes later the delivery people called to say they would be at our house in 30 more minutes. Of course, it was already after 11 pm on a work night. NO WAY!! We refused the dlivery and requested a refund for the mirror. So now we're waiting for two refund checks...one for delivery and one for the mirror refund. Guess we'll see. read more

This store and salesperson deserve a negative rating . This was the most unprofessional experience purchasing furniture I have ever endured. They lied to me to get the sale .They did not follow up on what they promised. We went to Ashley's to purchase furniture for a new apartment . They were having a 25% off sale . We first chose a mattress and box springs . After we chose these items we were informed that the sales didn't cover the mattresses. We really needed the bed so we proceeded with the purchase. As a condition of the sale we told them repeatedly it had to be delivered the next day. We did not want the items unless they would arrive on Saturday. We then discussed the possibility of same day delivery which we were happy to agree to in order to have the mattress delivered promptly. We were also looking at purchasing a couch from them but it was not due in their warehouse until September 5 so we decided to wait on this item . The salesman checked with his manager and said they could do a same day (possibly) or next day delivery but we would have to be available from 2-8 pm on Saturday to accept the delivery. That evening while we were at dinner the salesperson called me on my cell phone and said the delivery was definitely confirmed for Saturday. I thanked him. We were so excited that they confirmed the next day delivery that I called him back on his cellphone. I told him that since they definitely would be delivering the bed the next days he promised when we purchased it, we would place the order for the couch that evening even though it was a long wait to even get into their warehouse. I confirmed my credit card over the phone and he put the order in for me. Not once did he mention their would be a 10% cancellation fee on the couch if we cancelled this order. The next day (Saturday ) we waited from 2pm to 8Pm on the delivery of the bed. We never left the apartment. We sat there undoing boxes and waiting for the phone call and the knock on the door . The salesman had not given me a number to contact the delivery people only his personal cellphone. At 8 Pm I texted the salesman to say they had not shown up ! There is no way they showed up during this time frame and actually knocked. Two of us were in the apartment silently waiting on this delivery ! The salesman had given the delivery people a wrong phone number but the salesman had 2 numbers for us. They had my cellphone which the salesman was using to text me that the delivery was confirmed ! NO CALL ! NO DELIVERY! I called the store to try and reschedule delivery. I was able to set the delivery for the following Saturday. They were suppose to call 30-45 minutes ahead of course they did not . We kept looking out the door and finally we saw them wandering around the apartment complex looking for the right door. My son got their attention they came to our door and literally through the box springs at him over a railing. I was astonished at their incompetence. They proceeded to our door and brought in the box springs and the mattress and doing so knocking over my son's computer which he managed to catch before it crashed to the ground. They did not have the bed rails which I had talked specifically with the salesperson about but of course he forgot to add them to the order. He did try to push an expensive mattress pad on us which we were smart enough to decline . That day I texted the salesman to cancel the couch order and stated in the text that the purchase of the couch was dependent on Ashley delivering the bed the next day as he promised and confirmed and I expected a refund. I did not hear back from him. I called the store to speak to the salesperson to cancel the couch order. He was not in. I called the main number and they said it could only be cancelled by the salesman that placed the order but they would leave him a message. I did not hear a word from anyone. On Sunday we went to the store and spoke with the salesman. He said he did not get the text (we had been texting numerous times the previous days) nor did he get a message about cancelling the order from the store. He said he could not do this and turned me over to a girl behind a desk . She proceeded to inform me that I could cancel but I would have a 10% cancellation fee . We discussed this and she basically said she was not able to do anything about it. It was their policy. She did not even want to credit my account for the balance of the charge. I told her I would speak to the credit card company about this charge. Not only did she charge me 10% on the price of the couch but the delivery fee and the tax . REALLY!!! The couch was NOT a special order just a stock item that was not even currently in their warehouse. I will never purchase anything from the Ashley store in Austin . You can't talk to the sales team that helped you once you make a purchase, this is their game to wear you out. The absolute WORST customer service team I have ever experienced! EVER! I am writing this review while I am sitting on hold once again (this is the 6th time I have experienced this hold). They have absolutely no problem selling you the furniture, that part isn't too terrible. The terrible experiences begin once they have your money, that's when they don't care anymore. If you read their reviews you will find I am not the only person who feels this way! The delivery time was no where close to what they said it would be, they are suppose to have GPS and you can track your delivery time, that is an out right lie. They arrived 4 hours after the 4 four hour window was up and even then they did not bring everything. I had removed my bedroom furniture to make it easy for them, a neighbor wanted it so I thought, hey why not. Well I shouldn't have given it away expecting them to provide me a place to sleep over the weekend. They showed up missing the slats for the bed so they couldn't put it together and I got to sleep on the sofa all weekend. After many calls to their horrid customer service reps they promised to bring the slats out the following Monday so I could get some rest. They did show up Monday, minus the slats of course so once again I am calling people who just don't care! I tried to cancel the order after all this but they want to give me a store credit, I refuse to buy anything from this company EVER gain! I have cancelled the remaining furniture that was suppose to be delivered and I will just donate this bed to Goodwill in hopes they have some extra slats laying around. Buyer Beware! Take your business to someone who cares, I am going to Rooms To Go myself! UPDATE: I just hung up with the customer (we don't care) team, they said I would be unable to cancel the furniture that we have not even received yet. On that day I borrowed a truck and was set. NOPE! It didn't make the truck and so it would have to wait another 2 weeks. I wasn't having that so they finally agreed to ship it to my house the next week. Ok. I get off work early and wait. And wait. And wait. 4 minutes before their cutoff time I get a call that the delivery driver lost his keys. Great! And of course I'm told to expect it the next day. So once again I get off work early and wait. This time, 9pm rolls around and nothing. Not even a call. So I'm sitting here, wishing so hard that I never stepped foot in that place. I don't know what the resolution will be. All I know is that I will NEVER buy from this place again and highly encourage you to avoid it like the plague. read more
