We purchased a tv stand and had it delivered at the end of November. Most of the hardware was missing and it wasn't completely assembled. We were told by delivery personnel that we would be contacted about getting the hardware and scheduling for assembly, but we were not. We called days later and were told the hardware couldn't be delivered for two months. Days later, another call, and we were told they could exchange the entire piece of furniture with hardware. We were told we would be called, but weren't. When we called, we were told they could deliver on Xmas Eve. We then attempted to return the furniture and were told we couldn't, even though it hadn't ever been used because of mistakes Ashley made. Again, wait for a phone call, didn't get one, call Ashley and schedule the replacement to arrive on December 29th. Got a text in the morning saying it was on it's way. Got a call later that morning saying the replacement was damaged and it wouldn't be delivered, but we could scheduled for the end of January. Which coincidentally is the same time they said they could replace just the hardware when the problems originally started. So now there will be a piece of unusable furniture in my home for two months that, according to Ashley, cannot be returned. Horrible customer service regarding this issue, an issue that they were responsible for and didn't seem to care about fixing. read more

I recently bought a bedroom set for a guest room in my house and I was extremely satisfied. Getting to this location is a little tricky since it is tucked behind the Best Buy in front of it, but worth the drive. The price was very reasonable since they make all the furniture they sell, financing is a snap, and delivery is prompt and speedy. They attended my needs, had plenty of sales staff even though the place was packed and had me in and out of there in no time at all, and they were able to answer all of my questions and open my eyes to things I did not even consider when buying my furniture. They were able to match up my color needs for the room I was outfitting since I had a desk already in the room and the room looks great. read more

Im only giving 1 star because the delivery guys did great job. DO NOT and I mean DO NOT use Gabriela Saez for your sales rep at the New Port Richey location. We should have requested a different sales rep when she acted like we were bothering her and her lack of interest in helping us. We purchased a bedroom set and matress set so we thought anyway. Turns out the box springs were not part of the matress set. We called and asked her where the box springs are and she said that it would be additional charge and additional delivery charge. We asked why didnt she say something while we were at the store shopping (which took her and hour and half to put in the order) she said that she did which was a bold face lie. She NEVER mentioned or suggested to us about the box springs being a seprate purchase. If she had we would have added that to our already almost $4,000.00 dollar purchase. whats another $240.00 dollars when you've just spend near 4K. She was rude when we called and asked about it and lied and said she did tell us. (why would we not purchase the back bone to the mattress) It could have been an easy fix but she had basically said sorry about your luck and pay the $240.00 and additional delivery fee AND that they will not set up the box springs and that they will be simply set at the front door step. after trying to contact a manager that never returned our calls we decided to use a different company to purchase the box springs. Our couch was delivered a few weeks ago. We immediately told them that the alignment was off and to send a tech. The tech came, made the gap and alignment worse and then wrote in his notice that "It is up to manufacture standards." When I spoke with customer service they said gaps were normal since they were hand made. It is unacceptable for the price I paid for the couch to have strings coming our all over and a huge gap and misalignment. It looks like I purchased it from a thrift shop. This is the style and color that I was looking for. So I am upset that I will now be returning it, since their standards are so low with how it should look. I recently moved into my own apartment. I didn't have anything and what I did have, I didn't want to move it to my new place. I went into Ashley Furniture, looked around a bit and was helped by Mila. I asked about store financing in which she helped the application. Once approved, Mila asked of my price range, allowed me to shop and browse a bit on my own, then showed me some living room & dining sets that was in my price range. Mila was very helpful. I ended up purchasing an entire living room set along with a counter height dining set from this Laguna Hills store. I came back a week later and bought bedroom set from Mila. All 3 sets were delivered the same day without a problem. The furniture looks great and I'm very happy with my purchases and experience at Ashley and would shop there again if I needed to add another piece. read more

I would have given four stars but there was an issue with pricing. Before we went to the store I was looking online at the furniture they had. We went in with our list and made a purchase of over $4000. After we returned home I looked at the printout and thought that one of the items didn't have the same price as online. I was correct, so I started checking all of our items and found that none of them matched the online prices. The store prices were higher. I contacted the store and they did adjust the prices to the online prices. The refund was over $600. If you shop here, make sure you check the items on your phone to see the online prices and that they make the adjustments for you. read more

If I can give a negative star, I would. I bought over $8000 of furniture for my mother and I. The sales person, Valerie, gave us false information and regards to them picking up the old sofa. We were told the sofa bed was arriving in 3 minutes the day of delivery and never showed up. The delivery guys didn't want to take my mothers sofa to the second floor. The team leader kept stating he felt like. 60 year old man when he was only 30. Additionally, kept complaining how his knees were hurting and he just want to go home to sleep. He could angle the sofa to put it through the door so I had to tell the how to do it. He brought my coffee table to my mothers house when it should go to my house which is on 3 minutes away. The would not drive 3 minutes to drive to my house. The team leader ask me to take the coffee table when I paid for delivery. Three weeks later we are still waiting for the coffee table. I drove to the store four times because I was on the phone with customer service for 2 hours. I talked to the GM of the store Bryan and he talks down to you as the don't care, they made their sell. There is no customer service from top to bottom. Where is corporate? Who is correcting all this issues? So to answer the question if I recommend this store, that would be a big NO. Hire Marines to do the job right, that is what I say!!! read more

Probably the worst customer service I've ever had in my lifetime. The first time we bought furniture from the Tampa Ashley's, they forgot the bed rails deliver them at the wrong time. Tried calling customer care and took three hours to get through. Made the mistake of buying a couch and two recliners and was promised an early morning delivery as we were flying out in the afternoon. The day before the delivery they called and said late afternoon. When I called the store and explained he promised to call back and hour later, this was after getting hung up on three times trying to call. It is now three hours later and have not received a call back and every time I try to call it gets disconnected. This will be the last time we ever go to Ashley furniture. read more

We had a very bad experience. We paid +$6000 in cash for furniture, and the salesperson informed us that we would receive it on the agreed-upon date. They never delivered the furniture on the scheduled delivery date since it was raining heavily, which is understandable. What is not excused, however, is the poor customer service and the length of time it takes to get someone to answer your call and get your order delivered to you. I had to return to the store to reschedule. They called us on the second delivery date, which was a week later, and told us that we needed to reschedule since they were behind schedule. I requested a full refund after canceling my order. You can image how inconvenient it was to be stuck in a home with no furniture for more than a week while imploring them to acquire the furniture you paid cash for. To top that, the salesperson didn't respond when I requested cancellation. I had to stop by the store to cancel. I'm never going to buy anything from this store again. read more

I purchased over $14k of furniture from this store as well as the extended warranty. After about a year the furniture was delaminating very badly. The sofa was piling horribly and looked to be about 10 years old. I tried contacting them several times and none of my calls were answered. I finally found a Social Media site and complained. I received a communication fro someone named Katrina Ashley. (Fake name I'm sure). She had the warranty dept reach out to me. They didn't even attempt to look at my furniture and just flat out said it was normal wear and tear and would not be covered. I am pissed. Jordan was super friendly, respected our wishes, was there when we needed her, answered all of our questions in a prompt and courteous fashion, and was probably the most friendly sales person I've worked with in a while. I am usually turned away from stores by their pushy and unfriendly sales people, but Jordan was a breath of fresh air. We ended up finding way more stuff than we came in looking for and we love it all. My only complaint: availability. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a furniture store. Here are the highlights: 1) Private event pricing was higher than online pricing the following morning. They had to issue a credit to me. 2) Delivery people assembled table incorrectly and had to return. Wrong height chairs delivered - December 27th. 3) When I went to store to on a Wednesday to correct chairs, manager told me they would get back to me. I did not hear from them until Friday and then they told me the correct chairs could not be delivered until Feb 2nd. 4) They agreed to credit $150 delivery fee (which is less online as it turns out) and provide a small credit for another piece I wanted. Delivery for correct chairs and sideboard set for Jan 27th. 5) On Jan 25th I get a text that correct chairs not avail until March 9th. 6) I ask for entire dining set to be returned - they agree and leave pickup date as Jan 27th. 7) On Jan 27th I get call from driver after waiting for them for 5 hours. They went to the billing address and not to the address where the furniture was delivered. Need to reschedule to following day. 8) I'm told by office scheduling they will be at my place approx 2:30pm in a window going from 1pm to 5pm. They show up at 6:30pm. The gents did not take time to disassemble the table getting stuck in my apartment doorway and scrapping paint on the door. 9) Here's the worst part...it's 2 weeks after pickup that I am writing this and they still have not credited my card the $2000 they owe me. I was told it could take 2 weeks! There's more than I listed above - these are just the highlights. Just all around horrible! read more

Is it possible to give a ZERO rating? We purchased nearly $2000 in living room furniture 18 months ago. AND we purchased the 5 year extended warranty, to boot! After only 3 months, one of the cushions developed a seam separation. We called, they sent a replacement cover and a tech came out and replaced the cushion cover. 3 times this happened, all on the same cushion of the couch. This was over a 6 month period. Then in March, the same situation occurred. Seam separation, but on a different cushion this time. When we called, the warranty company, GBS, we were told that they don't cover seam separations. Rips, tears, holes, yes; but not seam separation. This past week, but husband called first, the warranty company, GBS. They were extremely rude. The rep asked him if he had a copy of his warranty and when he said no, she began to read to him, verbatim, the conditions of the warranty. He asked for a supervisor and was flat out told No. He hung up the phone and called the local Ashley store in Brandon, FL where he was put through to the only person in this story who was helpful, Jaye in the warehouse. She was kind and understanding and did her very best to assist. She called GBS to get a tech to come out and look at our furniture, one thing that the GBS flat out refused to do. The rep came to the house last Friday, and was extremely rude himself. He looked at the furniture, didn't take any photographs as we were told he would, and went on his way, after telling us that he would right up his report. Today, a rep from Ashley corporate called and basically said, too bad. He said there were no pictures to review WHICH THE GBS REP WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE, and didn't give a flying flip as to the issues we have had from nearly the beginning. We would have been better off to go to Big Lots and buy a cheap living room suit, and tossed it when it wears out. I have NEVER had a piece of furniture fail like this has. I am so disappointed in the Brand AND every person, except Jaye in the warehouse. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again, and as God is my witness, I will tell everyone and anyone that cares to hear, how terrible their customer service is, that they won't stand behind their product and that GBS warranty is horrendous to work with. read more

Yep! Bad Service. Since December 4, my wife and I purchased an entrance table, two end tables and a coffee or center table. They didn't deliver on time the entrance table, and the rest of the tables were never delivered. We went to the warehouse and were not there. We went to the store and supposedly someone had cancelled the sale for those tables. As of this point they have not picked up the entrance table, and who knows when they will refund the total sale of $324.00. This has been the worst shopping/buying experience I have EVER had. Placed an order for a bed and couch. 2-3 weeks for delivery and then the delivery guy shows up at my home unannounced. I have shopped here for over 10 years but will never again. I bought a sectional sofa after purchasing the store called & said I had a credit so I asked for it to be put on a store credit. When I went in to use my store credit after I had picked out a dining room table they said after looking at the paperwork they made a mistake. The lady at the counter said I'm sorry but I was off that day you should not have been given a credit. She was basically like to bad!! I would not recommend using them they play to many games with giving credits then when you pick out something on store credit they tell you you have to pay for what u picked out on store credit! And although we are happy with the sofa we are VERY VERY unhappy with the Guardsman service pkg we were convinced to purchase by our sakes rep. We have never bought any warranty or svc pkgs and after inquiring many questions with the sales rep we thought that now having kids it'd be a good idea. We are very dissatisfied with how the company handles service. It is but as easy as our Ashley's sales rep stated and I would have been able to save money on a service that is NOT worth it. They make it very VERY inconvenient to set up a svc call and it takes them just under a month to come service your piece. We are very dissatisfied. read more

Bought over $3000 worth of furniture about a year and a half ago. One of which was a sectional and I got the protection plan. They push it because they know their furniture will fall apart. It's made with particle board and there are no screws or glue holding the pieces in place. They're placed in like a puzzle so pets can just fall out. There's also not enough stuffing in the furniture and when you call corporate to ask for the stuffing to put it in yourself they tell you that you have to pay for it because the protection plan doesn't cover it. If you buy furniture from Ashley you should turn it over and look at it because eventually parts will loosen and fall out. You can't even lean on the armrests without it causing damage to it. For the amount of money you pay for their furniture it DOES NOT hold up to normal use. I trusted the name Ashley Furniture, DON'T make the same mistake. *UPDATE* 5/4/2018 Got a text message saying that I had store credit to replace my damaged furniture so I called the Brandon store to make sure it was real. They gave me the run around told me a manage would contact me later and they never did so I called back. That's when they tell me that they do not accept store credit at this store and I would have to go to Williamsburg (in another state) to use my store credit. So, I called corporate to see what was going on. That's when corporate tells me they shouldn't have any problem using my store credit. So apparently this store is full of a bunch of deceitful, lazy people. They never once called me back, and I had to get corporate on the phone to solve my problem who then called the store.
