I order a couch,Twin bed, Chester draw, and a night table set at the Farmingdale location since June 14th. The sales rep was very pleasant, but Horrific delivery experience. My delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, July 22. They called me on July 19 and informed me that all the Item is not available and they will have all the items in stock on July 30th, so the will reschedule the delivery date for the July 31st. I agree for that date, but when the delivery person showed up he only had 2(couch & chester draw) out of the 5 item. I called regarding the remaining Item and I was promise another delivery date for August 22nd, when the delivery person showed up they had the wrong part. we called customer service and the representative promise me he have the right item re-delivery to me on 24th, I also request to speak to a Supervisor and I was promise a called back within 24 to 48hrs. Called on the August 24th about my delivery and the rep on the phone have NO recollection for what i was talking about. The representative apologize and promise the remaining will be in stock on September 8, and they will schedule to have all the item delivery on Sept 9th. Its now September 12th and still nothing is schedule for delivery. I called today and the representative informed me that the items will not be in stock til October. STILL WAITING FOR A SUPERVISOR CALL BACK SINCE AUGUST 22ND. THIS IS THE WORST EXPEIENCE EVER!!! read more

My husband and I went to Ashley's home store just to look around and at first we were looking on are own, telling the sales people that as well. After about 15 minutes, a salesman (Bill Lewis) came over and asked again if we were looking for something special, we then told him living room furniture. We also said, we wanted to see what was on sale. He was very very helpful, and showed us a few different sets. We decided on a set and he showed us how to apply. When we did we were denied, but that didn't stop Bill. He told us we can try another way, and still have the 12 months same as cash deal. Well that went through, and my husband and I were very happy. Bill never gave up on us and wasn't acting like we were a sale for him. He really was genuine. I even hugged and thanked him for his help. I will write a review, once we receive our furniture. Thanks again Bill Lewis, Ashley's should be proud to have him and the young lady who drew up the paperwork. I tried to find her name somewhere on our paperwork, but couldn't find it. She also was very professional and you can tell she enjoyed what she did. She came around the desk and spoke to my husband and I, which I thought made the signing of the papers more personal. We just left Ashley Homestore in Brooklyn, Ohio. After visiting five Ashley stores in the last few weeks, Hugo was the most friendly and helpful employee we encountered. We needed to purchase furniture for two bedrooms, a basement, a dining room, and a mattress, and have been planning on completing the transaction for the last two weeks, however, each time we entered an Ashley store, we never felt comfortable with the salesman/woman. Hugo provided us with detailed information, patience, and complete respect while picking out our pieces. I went into Ashley Home store looking for inexpensive furniture for a new apartment. I was helped by Mary-Jeanne Baker who could not have been more helpful in choosing my living room and kitchen set with me. There was then a question whether the furniture would fit up the second flight and through the narrow doors of the apartment. Mary-Jeanne went above any expectation I would have in a salesperson in coordinating and confirming everything with the delivery department. The furniture arrived as scheduled and everything went smoothly. The delivery men were also great as some of the items had to be reassembled in the apartment by them on delivery. I was in need of a new bedroom set quickly. I went to the North Canton store and Lisa was ready to help me. She took her time and showed me many floor models, but she could tell that I didn't like them. Lisa showed me other options of their online inventory. I found the set that I wanted. Then she showed me many options for a mattress. My furniture was delivered by the date I needed it, when they promised it, and in excellent shape. I have gotten so many compliments on it. I was really impressed by my warm welcome. I appreciated the fact that I was given a chance to take the store in before I was approached, I wasn't bombarded by salesmen/women. My shopping experience went smoothly I didn't feel pressured to purchase rite away.
