My husband and I ordered a mattress from the Cedar Park, Tx location on May 31st during their Memorial Day sale, I was told at the time of purchase that it would be delivered in 7-10 days. Great as my husband has cancer and needs the flexible base. Like Janelle in a similar review my delivery date kept getting pushed out over and over again. I was finally contacted and told "good news" my delivery date was now July 3rd. Great and we agreed to take delivery. I called on June 28th to confirm the delivery on July 3rd since no one contacted me about the delivery. I was then told by the assistant manager that the delivery date was once again moved out to July 26th. Could someone not have called me and told me it was delayed again? I asked why the delay and he told me he had no idea and no explanation and that it just effected my mattress. Hummm? During our conversations he ,had also offered credits for the delays which were never processed. I finally told him we wanted a full refund and he agreed to credit my purchase except for a portion I paid with a cash gift card and that would be sent in the form of a check. He then curtly emailed me not to contact him again and to go through customer service going forward. Nice guy right? I waited for the check for 2 weeks, nothing! Then after many calls to customer service and being passed around and waiting days, I was told my refund had been processed as a store credit. Seriously?. I told corporate customer service that I did not want "Ashley bucks" as I don't plan to ever shop here again. She told me she would help me get a check since that was what I was told by the store (she was nice). Finally she got back to me today saying that the check would be cut next week but I would not receive the check for 3-6 weeks, Really? How in the world are they sending that refund? None of this was my fault, I just wanted to by a mattress. After hours on the phone and email with the store and customer service, my nerves are shot and my advise is to stay away from the Cedar Park, Tx store at all costs as they delay delivery dates and do not do what they say. This business is the worse. I ordered a bedroom set in July 2021. a 4,000. spend. To date, I have not received my bed and, they would have held up the rest of the set had I not forced the issue. I have to call them to find the status, they NEVER call to follow up. why should they? they require full payment at purchase. After 9 months, they offered me 90 dollars to appease my having to wait yet another 3 months and I anticipate at that time, they will push it out again. If I could give a lower score I would. This will be our last purchase from Ashley Furniture. We purchased a new bedroom set on 7/31/21. It was delivered on 8/17/21. Not a bad turnaround. However, the bed was sent with no hardware so they could not put it together. Also the chest of drawers that was delivered was damaged, so they had to order a new one. We have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for about 3 weeks now and still no hardware or new bed. I was told it would now take till Sept. 21 which is ridiculous. They attempted delivery today of the replacement chest of drawers (almost 3 weeks from the original delivery) and they brought the dresser instead of the chest of drawers. The drivers also said they had hardware for the bed at the distribution center, so they don't know why that has not been taken care of. After they left without delivering the proper item, I called customer service and they said they couldn't do anything until the truck arrived back or give me an estimated time of how long it would take to get the proper chest of drawers. I am sure it will be another 3 weeks or longer to get the new dresser. Of course you can't talk to anyone at the store unless you go there in person. I ordered a couch back in August 2021. We were told it would be 8-12 weeks. 12 weeks passed and I was told now it's 4-5 months back ordered. Finally in March 2022 when we still had not received it I went in and asked for a refund. We had paid some cash and some on my card. The manager helped me and said I would get sent a check for the cash and the rest refunded back to my card. I told the manager I have a new debit card but it's linked to the same account. He said it wouldn't matter and I would still get it. I received the check but never got the money refunded to my bank account. I'm still owed 400 dollars from the store and it's now almost May. read more

In December of 2021 I ordered a dinning table as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. My salesman said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. I waited 6 weeks to call him and he said it was delivered damaged so they returned it and it would take another 6 weeks. I waited and when they finally delivered, the men took it out of the box and found out it was damaged. So they returned it again but this time it only took about a week to schedule another delivery. I left my daughter to accept the the delivery since I had to work. She text me saying they were in a big hurry to get out of there and didn't completely check the table until they left and as she turned it around she found how they drilled the screw in to far that it went thru the wood. There is no way they didn't know this. When I called customer service they said they would have to order that part and I would receive it by UPS or FedEx then I would have to call them so they could send a service man. I asked them,what if I just want to return the dinning set and cancel my order, she said I couldn't cancel my order since the the table was delivered in my house. It's been a month now and have not received anything but my bill. The table and chairs are beautiful and my salesman was very kind,but the delivery men were deceitful and that is why I gave two stars. read more

Sales people are purposefully misleading on the delivery times. were initially told 8-12 weeks for delivery. 8 weeks in now I called and they are saying delivery will be in December. over 20 weeks. I asked if this is common and they said it is. If this is true your sales people are lying about delivery times. 5 months to receive our couch is just too long they are holding our money and stringing us along. read more

I have always loved Ashley furniture. However after the beyond subpar customer service experience received today, I will never visit or purchase from this location. I walked the entire store, and no one acknowledged or even greeted me. Meanwhile four associates were sitting at the counter laughing and having a grand old time. Before I left (giving them one more shot...), I inquired whether the online store has the same items, and was told "yes" and as I turned to leave, the young lady came out from behind the counter and proceeded to tell me, "...with delivery and everything it's probably best to go through our store..." I responded, "I walked the whole store..." I'm not shopping here. There was no apology, nor how can I help you....nothing. I encourage you to retrain your associates on the importance of providing excellent customer. Worst store. We got our worst experience in this store. We ordered sectional sofa from Ashleys Cedar park on July 4th sale. That time they told you will get your item in a week. After waiting more than 2 weeks, we went to store but they said we will get our delivery in 2-3 days. again waited for 1 week and we called them but no one was answering the call. so Finally called customer care and came to know this item is back dated. after following so many time, after one and half months later they delivered partial order. 3 pieces of the sofa was missing. we went to the store and the person was on counter was so rude, aggressive. He didn't give any answer clearly which we asked.So we said we wanted to talk store manager and then he became so mad and loud, stared shouting on us. it was really worst experience. I never expected this king of behavior from a store person. Really Bad! Finally we talked to store Manager and he said that he will look into this and will give us a call in 2 days but we didn't receive any call from him. Now I am hopeless. I ordered twelve pieces of furniture at this store. We know items are back ordered due to COVID, so we worked with a sales person to identify pieces that would be in stock "soon" ie to deliver in 4-5 weeks. We had bi-weekly communications with our sales rep, and thought things were moving along. At the 4 week point he told us 90% of our items were at the warehouse. Then he told us these items could deliver on August 15, which is a Sunday, so I got suspicious. At the same time, I noticed other retailers were sending shipment details in email and text, and Ashley was not. I went into the store to see the manager. I found out 4 of the 12 items were in the warehouse, and there was no confirmed delivery date. Our sales rep lied to us about virtually every update and instance related to the timing and delivery of the order. They deceived us, and we paid them thousands of dollars for furniture that is months out from delivery. They full well knew what they were doing! What a scam. read more

Wife and ordered 2 bookcases to go with a new entertainment center that we bought for our new home on July 31st 2021. The delivery date was set for November 9th 2021 (yeah should have read about slow delivery on other reviews before going here, but we had good luck with the Round Rock / Pflugerville site). Delivery date comes and goes no furniture no communication no nothing. Called store several times and got permanent hold so decided to go into the store. No customers in site just 10 to 12 sales folks sitting around (I'm wondering why they couldn't answer a damn phone). Talked to some girl at front desk who was clueless as to why items were not in warehouse by now (translation the furniture had not even been built or shipped in 3 1/2 months). So decided NOT to wait another 3 months and demanded credit to our account (let you know in 7 to 10 days if all goes well). But for this store, based on no product for months, poor customer service, and no communication, I would avoid this store like the plague read more

If I could give 0 I would. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have EVER dealt with. I am currently on the phone attempting to contact someone at the actual store location for the past 30 minutes with no luck. They have given me constantly changing dates on delivery including at one point having everything in the order reported ,and I confirmed with the rep I was talking to MULTIPLE times, to be delivered only to find out the day of that it was a lie and I am missing half of my items. They then placed a credit hold on my account due to a tax mistake that they made in the store and the only way to fix this is to speak to the store which, I can not get a hold of. This is a terrible experience and if I can find a way to never have to deal with this company again it will be to soon. I have been lied to by salesmen, and customer service reps. I have been given the run around by managers. I have been told I would be contacted and wasn't. By far the worst business practice I have dealt with, Oh and to top it off, if you finance they can not reduce any prices even though they are listed at a discount. Apparently when you finance in house you lose money by charging the same price to everyone. Never again. read more
