Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere!! This place is fake with their customer service. They delivered my furniture damaged and the delivery guys said they will take pictures of it and Ashley's will contact us for a replacement... they never did and upon me calling several times to their store and leaving several voicemails, no help or follow up was returned. You basically will be put on hold for hours and they will just hang up on you after all that waiting. If they deliver anything damage to you, tell them to take it back otherwise your stuck with it. I brought a 8 piece whole bedroom set and each had some form of defects on it. On one of the nightstand you can see that they tried to cover up the dent with paint. It's not hard to miss since it's right in front of the nightstand. Also did I mention that I bought insurance on the furniture and when I called, they simply told me that it's Ashley's problem and that I had to go through Ashley to get it resolved..this is the worst and last experience I will ever have at Ashley's!! The delivery team did not properly/fully assemble the bed frame I had recently ordered and is NOT SAFE to sleep in. I had been in contact with the delivery team and it has almost been 3 weeks with rude customer service from the delivery team. Called the first time and thought someone would call a couple days later to help finish assembling and no one called. I called a week later and nothing was put in place. We called multiple times with different dates, different reasons for the delay. Finally we got ahold of someone and set a partial delivery of just our couches, the bed frame will be at a later date. Well, when our "partial "order arrived wasn't I surprised when the bed frame that was on back order and won't be at the warehouse for another 3 weeks was on the truck. This was something we were not expecting so we had to have them put the boxes in the garage, and now we have to set it up cause they won't send another team. My wife went into the Colton Ashley store to purchase a queen Bed and mattress. The sales associate was pleasant until she couldn't sell us what she wanted. My wife had reservations on spending 2500.00 for a Sterns and Foster brand. After spending quite some time discussing this with her and her store manager, Andrew, and her telling us that anything but that Sterns and Forster was crap and her manager did not correct her we decided to leave. We then went to the Montclair location and met Omar Garcia. Mr Garcia sat down and listened to our needs and proceeded to show us what we were looking for. Bryant was fantastic and the sole reason they're getting 2 stars. I seriously hope he gets paid commison. They get knocked off stars for the incredibly poor and rude customer service desk. We spent about $4000 on a new bed and a bar and over 3 days I had to call about 15 times to sort out an issue. I had to call 15 times because they only managed to actually pick up the phone 5 out of 15 times. Phone logs don't lie. Twice I was on hold for so long that the call magically "dropped." The last time I called i was actually put on hold for so long waiting to talk to a manager that I got so annoyed that I got in my car and drove down to Ashley's and got assisted faster then on hold and I live twenty five minutes away. From walking from the front door to the service desk I counted 12 people that were standing or sitting around talking to other employees that could have EASILY picked up my holding phone call. Thats some incredibly shitty service and not worth returning to. In addition we had to schedule a time with the warehouse to pick up our bar. We showed up on time for our appointment only to be told that the bar wasn't ready and they had some sort of issue. HORRIBLE! Just horrible. From the sales associate not knowing what they have in inventory, to the customer service girls, to the LONG wait time to pick up my order. I purchased a mattress and scheduled for a pick up one Sunday afternoon (I purchased it on Friday). Back track a bit, I asked the sales associate if they sold any type of "bed in a box" mattress. He looked at me confused and told me "I don't think we do". So I ended up purchasing whatever they had in store. My sales associate advised I should rent a truck instead of delivering it to "save money". So I ended up renting a Home Depot truck to pick it up. Fast forward to Sunday, I went to the customer service desk to pick up my order. I wasn't asked if I needed any help from them for roughly 15 minutes. THERE WERE 4 GIRLS SITTING TALKING TO EACH OTHER like they don't even see I was in front of them. After someone finally "noticed" I was told to drive around the back to pick up the mattress. THEY WERE WRONG. The customer service lady told me "oh it's actually at the other warehouse, just drive around there". I parked at the warehouse side to finally pick up my order (after waiting another 10-15 minutes). The guys working at the warehouse finally came back with a few things on their forklift. The only thing I saw what a large rectangular box. I asked the guy "is that my mattress?" He told me that's what I ordered. Well whad'ya know, it's a bed in a box. So in summary here's what happened during the two days I spent with them: Their sales associate doesn't know what they keep in their store. THEY DO SELL A BED IN A BOX. Originally, I was very happy with the purchase of my section and received several compliments and referred many friends. Within about two month of my purchase I noticed the corner seat I sit in the most began to peel. Well at this point it was in the middle of the COVID-19 shut down and it was impossible to get a live person on the phone. I would try chatting with on-line help and it was a joke with ZERO resolution. Well I first reach a human in February 2021 who asked me to take pictures and send them. I never heard back so I called back. They said they had no record of the February call and would schedule a technician to come out May 5th, 2021. When the tech showed up I outside of the hours he was scheduled to come I was on a conference call and my husband had to speak with him. He said that "yes, he saw the cushion was peeling and would be ordering a replacement." Well now I'm on the phone with someone and their saying the tech blamed it on my pets and no new cushion is coming? Long story short do not buy from this furniture store. I'm not a fan of car dealerships so I'm really not a fan of this place. I like having someone welcome me into their business by saying "Hi" or "Can I help you?". I don't like everyone descending on me like I'm food and they're starving. I've been to this location a few different times. I have only made it to the back of the store once to look for an office item my dad wanted. It seems they have a huge selection of moderately priced furniture and accessories, but I don't want to be chased and hounded by every floor employee. I would just like to casually shop and ask questions when I have them. My first occasion here was around Christmas time so I figured they were really trying to help me find a gift. I asked the 4th person about an office chair and the staff person really didn't know where to direct me so I walked off to find it for myself. There were more people approaching me and I was finally directed to the back of the store. It seemed like employees were coming from every where trying to find out what I was looking for and if I needed financing. I didn't see what I was looking for and decided to leave. I had 5 more people approach me on the way out the door. Again I chalked this experience up to being the holiday season or maybe just this location. I came back a couple times after that but again I got the same experience from the staff. I just wanted to look to see if they had what I happened to be looking for at the time and not greet someone every few minutes. I got as far into the store as their coffee bar and realized that it must be their m.o. to badger people until they're weak and succumb to financing. I'm looking at the reviews and they do not understand why they're not higher. I've been looking for two particular pieces of furniture. I've been to quite a few furniture stores and of course I was attacked by what seems like used car salesman. When I walked in I was greeted by a salesman named Dominic. He was so chill and walked me around to all the places I could possibly find my pieces and voilà I finally found them. I was very surprised by their designs. They really had a great eclectic mix of different styles. The happiest part was that the one piece I found was on a manager special at half-price hooray hooray hooray! And he was able to price match the other piece that I got which made me even happier. Then I was going to pick up the furniture and it ended up I didn't and he worked with me brilliantly to get my furniture delivered by a Great third-party company because I couldn't get back in to sign paperwork for delivery by Ashley. It was a mad house considering a huge sale was about to conclude that Monday. We don't like to be bombarded- like to shop without being haggled by sales people. ***WARRANTY SCAM*** ***POOR QUALITY FURNITURE*** We purchased dining and family room furniture in December 2018. At the time of our purchase, the sales rep (Philip S) convinced us to buy a very expensive 5 yr warranty ($1999 but he gave us a "great deal" at only $599). He assured us this warranty would cover EVERYTHING! We just couldn't go wrong with this warranty! So we got sucked into buying it along with the rest of our purchase. The delivery process was clunky at best - the media cabinet was on back order and we never received our rug, etc. Half of the chairs had significant problems upon delivery but finally we settled in with our new furniture. 14 months later - the backs of the dining room chairs pop off when someone sits down, even with minimal pressure. The fabric on our couch cushions is "pilling". Guess what? NONE OF THIS IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! So frustrated - we never buy warranties, stupid and naive that we fell for this sales scam. I give images of the pest and a pest control invoice to a young man who tells me they will escalate to corporate since it was nothing the store can do. I go back a few days later to follow up and the young man that helped me didn't even escalate the matter. Let me start by saying this, WE DID NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY. My boyfriend and I stopped in yesterday morning looking for a new loveseat. We were immediately greeted by Bill. He asked if we knew what we were looking for, and I explained in detail what we wanted. Without hesitation he took us right over to the set that was perfect. Now, we spent about an hour in the store. When it was time for us to leave, I was devistated. Why? Because our time with Bill was over. I have never met a more genuine, pure hearted, more kind soul than Bill. During our visit, he had my boyfriend and I in side splitting tears from laughter! He explained that he's 71 and walks a bit slow which wasn't a problem at all. There we moments like when he told us about seeing Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin play live and he explained the pure magic that he heard come from the stage. We talked football, my man is a Buccaneers fan and I'm and Eagles fan and Bill talked about older games he's seen and how football is changed over the years. Now, I could go on another 20 minutes about what we talked about, but that's not it. I didn't want to leave the store. I didn't want to leave Bill. I told my boyfriend that we needed to take Bill with us. Joking of course, I can't steal a human, but if I could, Bill would be my number one pick. He was so sweet, and kind, and HILARIOUS! I order a 70" tv stand on June 19. I pick it up on June 21. Once I open it to put it together found 3 pieces defect from factory. They send some guys for rapair but they did not do anything they didnt even know what they where doing. They schedule a tech to come on June 30, my wife had to unpack the defect items cause they where not doing in it and they where 2 gentlemen to help and unpack heavy items. I read all the reviews and nobody spoke about Lizabeth. I am not surprised. She was very helpful, very accommodating, she said here's my cell phone number text me anytime, just not past midnight, I had one customer do that. All was super great until we decided to buy. We did the whole deal and then when our order arrived it was the wrong color. We text Lizabeth and she asked if we declined it when they delivered the furniture. I said decline?! What?! What does that mean? Because basically it wasn't her problem if we didn't decline it. I was texting her during this time and I did not understand what she meant so I called and it went directly to voicemail and then she text me immediately after to go to customer service. I was upset that she couldn't even explain it to me and so we got ready real quick and went in to the store and they said it was nonrefundable. Flat out. I said but they delivered the wrong color furniture! Only to find out that they discontinued the color we wanted and only had grey ones. I asked for Liz and she came and spoke to the nice lady helping me at customer service and we were across them but Liz wasn't even looking at us . She was speaking to the customer lady 1 foot across from me about the situation and didn't even look to face us. She was telling the lady what the issue was and I was saying no, that's not the case. And she kept talking not facing me and the customer service lady was like, she is saying no. The lady was basically saying she is right there. But the fact that she was across the counter from us and did not even look at us to discuss the issue was real messed up. I mean she sold us the merchandise and we drove all the way back to Ashley's. Why can't she explain the issue to us? Instead she spoke about us directly across from us. I then asked where it said the stuff about the refund and that we didn't realize it so I wanted to see it. And rudely another male employee behind the counter said that they weren't entitled to tell us & that it was on the back of the page somewhere & picked up a sheet of paper and pointed at the back. At that point I already understood that it was nonrefundable, that was my bad for not asking. Although we received the wrong order and that was still messed up though. So then I asked for a Manager just to share the fact that I didn't realize that but what could I do. I wish Lizabeth shared that information with us. I wanted to let the Manager see my texts from Lizabeth and tell her that we got the wrong color couch and now nothing could be done. I wanted to tell the Manager that we weren't informed that we could deny the furniture when it was delivered. But she said it was common sense. I asked how it was common sense when we could not see what color the couch was because it was wrapped up. It was not visible. She had no answer. She offered to give us 300 to shop around the store for our inconvenience and ofcourse I took it, but again she stressed that next time not to receive it because it was common sense that we do not receive the delivery if it was the wrong one. I didn't get that comment of hers because the couch was not visible at all. What was I suppose to do? Break the box open when delivered and check on the color beforehand? I checked the item number to confirm and it was the same but apparently not the correct color. And this is a big investment we're talking about here. This was over a grand. But now I know to open up the boxes when delivered Well that situation sucked but Edward helped us get 300 worth of end tables and that took no more than 30 minutes. And Edward told us that the items were nonrefundable blah blah blah! I'm like thank you for informing us and that we already knew. We found out the hard way. Before ordering with Liz we came for 3 hours on a Saturday and then 4 hours the next day. She was always busy with other customers even though she made an appointment with us for Sunday. At 11am. When we were driving home my husband and I spoke to the kids about business ethics (our parents both own a couple of small local businesses), we spoke about greed and how Lizabeth was greedy. Not relevant but we explained the difference between greedy and stingy. We spoke to them about business ethics and tfw importance of not being like Lizabeth from Ashley Home Goods. First off, I received my chest with parts falling apart off the track when opening the first drawer. Secondly, purchased two side dressers only received one and other been in transit for a week. So I've been calling customer services only to be left on hold forever. If you leave a voicemail and wait for someone to call you it never happens. I order a dining set in Oct 2021. I was told by your lying employee 6 weeks for the order. We mentioned the shipping delays & she ensured us she could see where it was coming from. We contact Ashley in November and find out it's going to the warehouse end of January & won't be delivered until March. I'm upset but still waiting. I send constant text message going over my order number & phone number because your online tracking program cannot find my order. One day I waited on the phone with customer service over an hour to be told I was as caller 85, 95 and then 96? Shouldn't the number go down the longer I wait? I got a hold of someone on Wednesday.I found out our order is going to the warehouse March 21,2022. I went through holidays and everything without a dining room table. I've received no updates EVER from Ashley. Nothing about shipping & I was never told of any additional delays. I was never given any apology and I am so nice when I call. Had I known I would have to wait 5 months for a dining room table I would not have ordered it. Ironically I'm a paralegal for a consumer law attorney. Your employees misrepresented the order and delivery date. I would definitely consider this a CLRA violation. I canceled my order and you can take your $150 gift card and shove it! read more

Worst CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! Deliver delay after delay, and with minor damages . This purchase was made in Feb and delivered at the end of May after 3 reschedule attempt due to missing furniture!!! Tech came out July 31 made fixes and ordered parts, but here we are basically October ... and they have "ordered parts" and will be delivered end of October / early November .... RIDICULOUS!!! store service is trash i went in to purchase a new bed which i bought. set up to have delivered to my house with no issues once i opened the bed to start putting it all together and i noticed the bed had a bunch of broken parts to the bed. i contacted the Claim department at 909-639-1420 they informed me that i had to take pictures of the broken parts which i did. once i did that they told me that they have to send out a technician to see if the whole bed needs to be replaced or if it can be fixed but there is no fixing this. so after going back and forth with them i said fine send the tech they scheduled me for the 26th of December. today is the 26th so i decided to call to find out what is going on and if a tech is still coming out. i was told that they do not have a appt for me on this day and the soonest they can get someone out would be the 28th of December. on 12/21/23 i spoke to the store manager (kavan) and he told me that he would schedule a tech to come out on the 26th but yet here we are. the experience that i have had with Ashley homestore has been horrible and i will never buy from here again i shouldn't pay 3500 for a bed to jump through all these hoops to try and get the items bought from there store replaced. read more

We had such a pleasant experience at Ashleys Furniture Store Ralph was our sales rep and he did an incredible job helping us find the right selection for our home.We felt neither pressured nor ignored. He was very informative super helpful who listened carefully of what we wanted , We bought several items (living room , bedroom set and dinning table as you can see he spent a lot of time with us! And never felt pressured! He was also helpful in the delivery process. A true profesional!! This has been an excellent experience and we look forward to many years of enjoying our new furniture I highly recommend buying from Ashley's and specifically, from Ralph Perez. read more
