We had a power reclining chair that was delivered 7 weeks ago. The first time we used the chair, in stayed in down position. We have been told that a replacement will be here 3 different dates and still no chair. Being told now it's going to be another 2 weeks for it to be here. I am paying for a chair that does not work. If I could give this store a ZERO I would. We went in in October to purchase a couch, we found one that we liked and that would be delivered ASAP (it had a delivery date of Nov. 8th) which we needed as we had family in town and the holidays were approaching. November 8th goes by, no call or email regarding our order and we have no couch at our house. The delivery date continues to be pushed and pushed, I called the store, spoke to managers told them I wanted my money back. The call backs were few and far between forcing me to go into the store multiple times to get an answer. Finally, they pressured me and convinced me to SEPARATE my order so that I had something to sit on for Christmas, and out of desperation I agreed as they promised the first three parts of the sectional would be delivered on Dec. 14 and the other two on Dec. 26. Fast forward to today, FEBRUARY AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY COUCHES!!! Not only that but the two missing parts ARENT EVEN IN STOCK!! I have called the store countless times, I have spoken to corporate countless times until I spoke with a customer service manager who was extremely rude and disrespectful and told me they do not do refunds or exchanges and that I accepted the couches. When I told her I did under the premise that I would have a complete couch by December she told me that no one FORCED me to accept the couches into my home and that that was my choice!! I'm sorry, what?? Yes, no one had a gun pointed to my head but if I had known this is what would follow I wouldn't have. The majority of the items were either delivered incorrectly, broken, or not al all. Called today and found out that one of the broken pieces of furniture that we've been waiting to get replaced is now obsolete. We've been waiting on a replacement for 10 months, and now they won't accept returns, and we can only work with the original location in Frisco for any help. (We've since moved to Florida). What's the point of working with a large chain if you're forced to use the original location? I bought a sofa and loveseat from Ashley furniture in July 2018 With extended warrantee for 5 years. I called them to let them know that my sofa is sinking in the middle and the leather portion is tearing. When they told me that is not covered. I asked them why did I pay for the extended warranty if that is not covered what does it cover. They didn't know what is covered and then they have given me the phone number to the warrentee department. Terrible customer service after sale. Initial experience was good till it came time to deliver. We were moving into new house and ordered 3 months in advance. The day before delivery they called to say only 25% of order was ready and remaining would be following week. The next week came and only partial delivery again. Part of this order was a $4200 mattress and after sleeping on an air mattress for two weeks and Ashley delaying delivery for a 3rd time, we cancelled the item and purchased from another store. I had to go to the store for cancellation and store manager didn't have a clue what to do. He finally found the cancelation form and was very vague about what he wrote on it. I made it describe in detail the cancellation and give me a copy. He said I'll receive a check refund in 10 days. Well 10 days came and went without a check. I called the store on multiple occasions without answer and always got kicked to national customer service. They informed me they show no cancellation and I need to talk to the store. After being run around for a day, I had enough and disputed the transaction with my credit card company. Beware of dealing with this store. The sale process is fine but after that look out. Make sure to get documentation of all parts of transaction. I would have been screwed if I didn't force him to give me a detailed cancellation form. read more

I work in retail so long story short, as a consumer you have to understand there are a lot of hands that are involved with any transaction you do. That all being said, I think we can all give a bit of grace when mistakes happened. How you judge a company is how efficient they are at correcting those mistakes. Although my experience was very bad in store, a member of senior leadership called me directly. Apologized (and most importantly owned) the mistake. Corrected everything that day, and followed up with me every step of the way. Additionally, they informed us that it wasn't the first interaction like this from that store and based off of customer feedback they have had a leadership change. Long story: Leadership listens to their customers, makes adjustments based off that feedback and owns when things don't go right but most important fixes them quickly. I was told 2 weeks so we took her other bed down after 2 weeks not realizing that they were complete liars! Finally got delivery end of March, I had to hire someone to come put the bed together and they were able to schedule me end of April, thanks to Covid. I did not open the boxes b/c I didn't want opened pieces of furniture just laying around my home. When we finally opened boxes the headboard was busted badly. I called the Ashley customer serv line. Came in for two stools to match my current dining set from Ashley Furniture. Saw them for 75 (about 50% off) at Nebraska Furniture but came here to see if they had them and at what price since it is Ashley brand. The sales man Bobbie was actually very friendly and accommodating and went to ask a manager for a price match. Manager told him no, he didn't want to "lose money on 2 stools" but would give 20% off instead, despite company policy of price match guarantee. So we left the store. I then saw the SAME deal offered online at Ashley Furniture website for exactly what I was wanting. I came back in and asked the next associate to have the manager come over when they asked for the price match. He asked " who are we trying to price match this from." To which I responded, yourselves and showed the online website. He signed, said nothing else to us and walked away. No apology, no thank you for shopping here, nothing. I drove 30 miles to cancel, they said it would take 7 days for the credit to hit my card. I waited 15 days, no credit. I again tried to call this Frisco store, didn't work again. I am so very disappointed in your store. We went to your store in Frisco (Tx) recently to purchase an item to help in redoing a small room. We told the salesman we needed something small-- a small couch, a chaise lounge, etc, but it needed to be with STORAGE! We needed STORAGE! The salesman showed us a Realyn Twin Daybed with a large storage drawer. We checked it to see if it would meet our needs, the STORAGE DRAWER was usable for our needs--- so we told the salesman we would buy that. He said if we also bought the mattress now, he would give us a good price--- so, yes, we added the mattress and cover. We signed papers for the Realyn Twin Daybed that the salesman sold us---- with the large Storage Drawer------ the price shown at store on bed was $849. We looked at no other items, no other items were shown us----and we signed papers for our bed with STORAGE. And we were told, if not satisfied. we had 30 days for return. On delivery., when we opened the box , we saw no storage drawer. The person helping us, called on his phone and he was told "the storage drawer was a separate purchase!" What??? This call was made on delivery--- certainly within the 72-hr -- but not from phone number on receipt. We have been on phone with the store and your customer care service since then! My daughter, who made the purchase, is a single mother and nurse and because of January flu illnesses could not come back to store until later in January. She was told the store could do nothing--- only your customer care. Those calls have not been satisfactory. We were told since we had not made a complaint earlier--- our earlier calls to store were not recorded apparently--- and since it was past 72 hrs. there was nothing to do! We DID contact you earlier--- on delivery and also store calls. The mattress and bed box is all totally wrapped in our living room waiting for outcome---- would we wait so long to voice a complaint?? On one of the calls to your Customer care, the agent kept saying " you're not listening to me-- you signed the papers!" Yes, we signed papers for what the salesman showed us and sold us--- Realyn TwinBed with STORAGE DRAWER--- it was all about the storage for us! One of out last calls to your customer service, we spoke with Cecilia --- who offered us two codes--- to give us 20% discount and to order the storage drawer and she referred me back to store. The store said they knew nothing about a 20%, the codes were too short, and the storage drawer cannot be ordered. Only Customer Service can make orders. Then we are told this item cannot be ordered separately--- not available--- can't be done! You are a furniture store----can't be done?!!?! Our purchase receipt is for $1850--- for an item not usable as is! Purchase was made by single mom---- with one special needs child at home. A cost of an item ---not useable as is---is not in her budget! The Realyn TwinBed you delivered lists as $629!!! That's a $220 difference! Stuff is all still wrapped, return/exchange is our first choice ---but if not, at least get us a storage drawer!!!! We have had the worst experience with the Frisco location. We bought our couch on 7/26 mainly because we were guaranteed that it was in stock and would be delivered on 8/9. On 8/9 we still had not recieved any notice on what time they were delivering so we called. After NUMEROUS phone calls, someone from the customer service line was finally able to tell us that the couch wasn't in stock after we were told it WAS and that it would be another 3 weeks before we could get it. We tried calling the Frisco location and could not get a hold of anyone until that Friday when we got a hold of Susan, the operations manager. Susan guaranteed us that she would call back within 24 hours to figure out what could be done about all the trouble we have gone through and the empty promises. It has now been a week with no contact from Susan dispite numerous calls and texts. It has been OVER a week since our couch was supposed to be delivered and we still do not have a solution. After moving to Texas we went to pretty much any furniture store that was available because we needed all new furniture. To be honest, the customer service here surpasses all the other stores we went to. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and Gary took us around the store showing me things based on the style I wanted and the budget that I had. All the other places we went to just pointed us in various directions and just let us figure it out.
