Good looking furniture, terrible customer service. Moved across country and knew it may take some time for the furniture to come in so ordered 20 plus days in advance. Asked when, and could be delivered at that point and they gave me an answer but ultimately found out they had no idea. Was promised a delivery date and told they would follow up with any issues or delays. As it turns out we had to do all the follow up and delivery was pushed back three times. Ultimately I would suggest using another Ashley store because my experience with this one was not great. FYI..... Update, two months later we still don't have all of our furniture. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars!!!! This place is a COMPLETE scam. I have made 4 requests via email, chat and in person trying to cancel my order. I was told it would be NO PROBLEM if they could not deliver prior to us moving out of state. Brandon G is unresponsive to email requests to cancel the order and refund my money. I went to the store after no response to my email requests to cancel and Chris and the manager promised a refund within three days. I have NOT received ANY refund back from these crooks! Contacted Ashley corporate and was told a refund would be provided by their manager but lying to customers must start at the top because I have still NOT received the promised refund from them either. When I told Chris to cancel my order, he went in cahoots with the manager and tried to get me to take a different mattress than the one I ordered. Ummmm.......NO! I knew when I walked out of the store and Chris "assured" me he was canceling my order and I should have a refund in 3 days that it was all lies. What company/business doesn't provide a confirmation of cancellation and refund at the time the customer is requesting the cancellation and refund? After 25 years of doing business with Ashley I will NEVER do business with them again and will tell all of my friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances to also avoid them and go somewhere else! I am still waiting for my over $7,000 refund but it appears that it will take legal action to get my money back for a product that could not be delivered in time and I cannot get the horrible people at Ashley to cancel it as I have requested multiple times!!! Purchased furniture and it was delivered 11/30/2016.. not only did I get a new bedroom set but I also got bed bugs! Do NOT purchase from here! They are doing nothing to fix the problem other than sending a "tech" out to do absolutely nothing. Do NOT, under any circumstances, purchase furniture or anything else from any Ashley Homestore. They steal your money and commit fraud with it. I purchased a sofa with chaise, arm chair, and ottoman at the pre-black Friday sale in November 2019. When my arm chair and sofa broke (sofa for the second time) in January of 2021, I was told that I would only have to pay labor costs and not parts since it was still within the 5 year manufacturers warranty. I was then told I would have to pay those labor costs up front as well, which does not make sense but having no furniture usable furniture wasn't an option. I had a tech come out from the contracted company they use do an evaluation of the repairs and claimed it would take 4 hours for repairs. I went in and paid for the 4 hours, $390 total, and waited for the repair tech to come and do the repairs. He came and started work on the day at 11:25 and was done by 12:00. He mentioned that he had been repairing for 30 years and could work very quickly and that I should call to get a refund for the difference since I paid for 4 hours. The following week I called and requested to talk to somebody about a refund and was told that since the technician clocked in at 11:25 and clocked out at 3:34, claiming that he worked in my home for the full 4 hrs, that I couldn't get my money back. I even had a photo of a gift that my friend delivered timestamped that day at 1:00, a full 2.5 hrs before he even supposedly finished the work, sitting on the chair that was fixed, with the repaired sofa in the background. He flat out LIED on his timecard, and because of that, Ashley is taking the word of a contracted repair guy, over their customer, to refuse a refund of a few hundred dollars. If someone takes their car in to get repaired, they don't pay for the labor cost before the repairs are done! This is absolutely ridiculous, theft, and fraud! read more

Please never shop here, 4 months ago I ordered furniture and was charged $2700. As soon is I found out the furniture would not be delivered for six months I canceled my order which was the very next day after this purchase. This company has failed to refund me my money and still I pay payments on furniture I never received to save my credit report from negative marks. I have made a complaint with the Ashley furniture credit card company and they referred me back to the store saying they see I never got my crap but there's nothing they can do, when I try to call the store they don't answer and when they have answered they've said there's nothing they can do because it show never delivered . They are aware my order was canceled before my stuff was delivered but they don't have a way to put the money back on my card. As I said Ashley furniture credit card company is the worst they do nothing. So it's been four months of me making payments on furniture I never received and nor will I ever receive because it was canceled.The store says o well. I was informed I had to cancel online since I had ordered it that way. I have been trying to contact Ashley online for 2 weeks. I have left three messages for call back, chatted online to be disconnected or told they could not find the order. (I have receipt and invoice number) I was Told today (chatting minutes speaking) to go to store I bought from. I told them I did not buy at store. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! I've had an issue with every piece of furniture purchased and have work orders open since December 2022 with no resolution. If you call their customer service line that is outsourced, they'll hang up on you or pretend like they are going to research the issue and then just transfer you to the survey. This has happened at least 30 times. When you attempt to call the store and ask to speak with them, they'll leave you on hold or simply hang up. On one occasion, I asked to speak to a manager and was on hold for 35 mins. I happened to be in the area, so I just drove to the store. Upon pulling into the parking lot there were literally no cars in the parking lot and as I proceeded to enter the store with my phone on speaker you could hear the call ringing while everyone was just standing talking to one another. I think they literally train their employees to avoid answering calls or talking with anyone. Even the vendor they use (AHM) to work on warranty items has nothing nice to say about the company and has said they by far have the worst customer service. So, your buying experience may be good, but after that, it goes downhill from there. Save yourself time and money and purchase your furniture from a store that stands behind their warranty and products because Ashley Furniture WILL NOT. read more

ASHLEY HOMESTORE UPHOLSTERED BEDS ARE JUNK AND I HAVE PROOF THAT ASHLEY FURNITURE KNOWS IT! A side rail on my less than two year old Ashley Homestore "Windville" upholstered bed failed under normal use. Literally just buckled in the center. An Ashley Homestore customer service representative, in an email to me stated "We see this often with these fabric units". OMG. Really? Often? and you choose to do nothing about it? I have never been treated so poorly or have been so disappointed with a product and company. Your bed is probably the most important piece of furniture in your home. When you purchase a new bed you expect it to last at least ten years. You should not have to take out an expensive warranty to protect yourself from inferior design, materials and service. It does not matter how pretty your new bed is if a side rail collapses. Also, this is dangerous. What if this happened to an elderly person, or a child? I have called, emailed, chatted, and even taken the time and expense to send a registered letter to their corporate offices in Arcadia, Wisconsin to no avail. Horrible communication from customer service and corporate. I purchased dining room set on 10/18/21, delivered on 10/21/21. As soon as the delivery truck pulled off I was calling due to 5 out of my 6 chairs were rocking (unstable). I was informed I had to call back following day due to order still showing in transit. I called the following day horrible customer service I could barely hear representative (phone line was very choppy). He informed me someone would contact me. After waiting 5 days I called again and another service ticket was entered still no call back. I went to store following week and Amen put in a service ticket to be expedited. I'm just getting a call back today which he left a voicemail stating that my chairs couldn't be even exchanged which I didn't understand message even they were suppose to be replaced since they were delivered damaged. I went to store and still no resolution. I then requested a refund and informed him that they can come and pickup the table since I can't get a update or call in reference to replacing damaged chairs. He then still has to send an email to corporate and I have to wait on a response. This is ridiculous that they can take my money but can't provide customer service or replace damaged chairs. I shouldn't have to keep going back and forth and waiting over 3 weeks to get this simple matter resolved. I highly recommend no one shops at Ashley Furniture ever again. read more

I bought a bed in early November 2019. I was told the bed was on back order and that I could expect delivery in 4 to 6 weeks. The store promised follow up during the delay and would be sure to let me know the exact date of delivery. I never heard from the store. I waited until the beginning of the 7th week to follow up and was told that the bed would be available in a "couple of weeks" and the store would follow up with me. Given my experience thus far, I was skeptical anyone would follow up and of course they did not. I called several times and was told a different version of the same story multiple times. When I began asking about cancelling the transaction things got even worse. To make a long tragic story short, I drove to Grapevine and picked up the bed on Feb. 8th. Extremely disappointed, I purchased a accent chair and cocktail table on September 11th. Cole, the product specialist, said that I would receive a call for delivery within 2-3 weeks. It's October 5th and still no phone call. When I contacted the store their response was it could take an additional 2-3 week just to receive a phone call to arrange delivery. I told them this was very poor service on their behalf. Their response to me was, "well sir you can cancel your order, but you have to come to our home store." Well we didn't even give them much of an opportunity. We walked in the store my husband was greeted by the sales guy. My husband told him what we were looking for and showed us about two sets before his cell phone went off. He took the call. Going to try and keep this as short as possible. We looked around for a year at EVERY furniture store imaginable and found nothing we liked! UNTIL we went into Ashley's Furniture and were greeted by Warren Outlaw. He gave us our space and didn't hover but was available and super helpful when we had questions. I told him that I liked very large headboards and he showed me their set with the largest headboard. Sure enough, it was the largest headboard out of every store we looked at. The headboard is almost 6 feet tall. We did not purchase that day because we wanted to wait for our wedding because our family was buying us our new bedroom set as our wedding gift. Wedding rolls around and we go back in, this time greeted by Wally. We ended up purchasing that day after an amazing deal we couldn't beat! We got a $1,400 king mattress for $900 and they had a great sale on their furniture. Anyway, they told us it would be two weeks until it is delivered. Later that day, I get a phone call from the delivery warehouse and they say my mattress and box springs are in stock and ready to deliver. I tell them to wait to deliver until all of the pieces arrive. They told me EXACTLY when the pieces left on the truck and EXACTLY when they will arrive in their delivery warehouse. Sure enough, the day they told me they would be in, they called me to schedule delivery for 2-3 days out. We got a delivery window on the exact day we wanted. They called me the day before the delivery and gave me my 4 hour window time. Then the next day (delivery day), the delivery crew called me and said they were running AHEAD of schedule and asked if they could deliver early. Ofcourse! Being in a new home we just built, I was so nervous they would scratch my wood floors or damage my walls. They were incredible and such a nice group of men! After reading horror stories from Rooms to Go and Ashleys, I was super nervous and skeptical. I will be a repeat customer for sure! Quality furniture! HEAVY wood! NOT TO MENTION, Ashley's furniture has a lot of fun features!! We purchased the "Roddinton" King Bedroom set. The nightstands plug into your electrical outlets and you can charge your phones, tablets, etc. in the top drawer of each nightstand. (USB outlets as well). AND the dresser has a jewelry organizer built into the drawer which holds my earrings, watches, bracelets and necklaces. read more

We visited this location a week ago when we were looking for a sofa & love seat. We were greeted within five steps of walking through the door and introduced ourselves to a sales rep named Scott. We told Scott that we were simply browsing for sofas and began looking around the store. Scott kept a very respectable distance from us yet he was always within sight in case we had questions which we did. He never pressured us or talked our ear off. We had questions, he answered them and then kept his distance to allow us to visit with each other and continue to look around. We didn't find couches that fit our budget needs so we asked for his card and we moved on to another store. Fast forward to today... My family and I visited this location to look at mattresses. We had done our homework and researched different types and visited many different mattress stores before visiting this Ashley's location. We were quickly greeted by a sales rep named Rich. He asked us what we were looking for today and we told him we were looking for mattresses. He asked us to follow him to the back where they have an area of mattresses. When we arrived to the bed area he asked both my wife and I what we were looking for in a mattress. We specifically told him medium to firm coil with a pillow top or a coil/memory foam hybrid. He showed us a bed with a hybrid coil/foam sample block sitting on top. He said that the bed is a great example of what were looking for as he showed us the sample block. Then he noticed that the sample block was sitting on the wrong bed that didn't match the sample block he was showing us. Realizing that he made a mistake, he immediately began to tell us that memory foam is the only way to go as he lead us around to some other beds. He then said that he was going to go get his mattress price specials list to give us the "actual price specials" that were different from the posted prices in that area. As he was gone my wife and kids were looking at other mattresses in a different section. When he returned he ushered us back to the expensive area and started talking to my wife. She very clearly repeated what we were looking for in a mattress. He responded by completely ignoring her and instead showed her another all foam mattress. The ENTIRE TIME we were there he NEVER stopped talking. We never had the chance to ask questions because he constantly talked without pause. When he did ask us a question he promptly ignored our answer and moved on to showing us the EXACT OPPOSITE of what we were looking for. We understand that their mattress inventory my not have accommodated our needs and THAT'S OK! What upset us and ultimately caused us to turn around in the middle of his sentence and walk out of the store is the fact that we were ignored, talked down to, had our time wasted and we're treated with little to no respect. Not going to return to this location if any Ashley's Furniture store in the future. read more

Do not order from Ashley & don't go to this store expecting good service. My delivery keeps getting pushed back with NO COMMUNICATION FROM ASHLEY!! I was told my items were in stock & given a delivery date. That delivery date came & I got a call saying my items were not in stock. The next delivery dates comes with no call from the store. I had to reach out to get an update the day of delivery only to find out some of my items were delayed an additional 3 weeks & others another month. Went to the store to discuss this with the manager & he was rude. He spent 10 minutes having a conversation with another customer about sports & where he played football even though he knew I was there to see him. The appropriate thing to do would have been to wrap up the conversation with the customer as friendly as possible & provide the next customer with service. We bought a leather couch and recliner 2 years ago here and they assured us it was good leather (I've had a bad experience with leather before). Within the first year the leather started wearing on the color, so They allowed us to come in and pick out new furniture because apparently the "leather" we got wasn't real leather??? So we came up and picked out a better couch and recliner spending even MORE money (about $2,000). We've had this new and better couch and recliner for 10 months and its doing the same thing. This time they will only "fix" it. In about 2 months the manufactures warranty will be up and they won't have to dill with it. I just want my money back but they won't do that. We took off work for the delivery and planed a family gathering. No courtesy call on the RESCHEDULED delivery dates EACH TIME, no apologies, no discounts. Thanks Ashley furniture. We used a visa gift card to purchase an item and after returning the item because it had a hole in it, no one in the store knew how to give us a check rather than refund the gift card that was thrown away. One man said he did it, and after 30 days of waiting on a check, I called and they said they refunded the gift card. They told me they would give me a call back the next day after contacting the corporate office and I never received a call. I called and they said they would call me back because they are busy. The worst customer service and I will never buy from them again. This company should be embarrassed. They are the worst in the furniture industry. read more

My husband and I just moved to the area and have been shopping around for a new bedroom set and we were feeling pretty defeated when we went to Ashely, but we were greeted right away by 'Frisco Fred' and the hopeless feel went right out the door. Sales guy named Blake was really helpful. He knew a lot about the products and wasn't overly pushy. He helped us get all the furniture we were needing and worked really hard to get us the best deal he could. We found some of the furniture cheaper at another store and Blake was even able to match the prices we found. I really appreciated him as our sales guy and will definitely ask for him again when we go back to get new bedroom furniture. By far the worst store ever! I should have read the reviews before purchasing from here! This store has given me the run arounds with my furniture and delivery! First they lied and told me the delivery guys could take down and remove my old bed and put up the new one(that was a lie). The space must be clear..... then they left my dresser off my order then after trying to reach someone for days I finally spoke with someone only for them to say "let me take your number and have the manager call you" never received the call... I had to call them back then after they fixed the situation I had to drive way back up there to resign paperwork and the manager told me my dresser would be delivered on the 5th... I called on the 5th to see what time cause I never got a time to some lady telling me it's supposed to be delivered on the 9th! Boy was I fire mad because the manager himself told me it would be here today now I'm getting told something different! This whole store and the team in it is a joke! They take your money"cash money by the way" and then after that give you the damn run arounds before receiving what you payed for!!! I will never shop here again I'll take my money else where...ridiculous! And the fact that the lady didn't try to help at all is what made it 10xs worse all she could do is tell me is that" Gaven "who is the manager is not there ans they can't do anything and to call corporate!!
