Gustavo sold us the lvg rm set, and Juwana sold us the bed. The manager, Jeremy, is awesome! He could tell I was stressed about spending alot of money for the TempurPedic, and he spent a considerable amount of time with us, telling us about TempurPedic beds, the warrantees, showing us how it works, options, etc., and it put me at ease. And, he was right-the bed is great! Only problem is, We don't want to get out of it!! Oh, and the delivery team is good, also. I've called customer service multiple times about my damaged dresser. A tech came out here to look at it and a week later I haven't heard a single thing back. I called customer service again and the lady just transferred me to the store. The lady I spoke to said a claim was never even opened for my case. Went to look for a mattress set and ended up at Ashley HomeStore on Decatur LV. Sales person K.C helped us tryout a few. Decided on a Tempur Cloud Luxe Breeze. We told him we would be back in a few hours to do more research and ended up finding one for $500 less. We went back as promised to give them a chance to match the price we found, tax and delivery included. I didn't think they could do it, but they did! They not only matched it, but even came out lesser after taxes and delivery. ​we bought our mattress from Ashley Furniture in north Las Vegas in March, we noticed that something wasn't right about it, when we felt like we were falling out of bed. I called Ashley and they ended up sending two different people out to review our complaint. It was deemed defective. Here's where it gets interesting. We spoke to several personnel on the phone and explained to them that we were not wanting to exchange it just get our money back. We were also sold a mattress cover and we're told it would not only protect the mattress but it would help us with our warranty. Ashley said they can't take back used mattress and refund money they could however exchange it for the same mattress or of course upgrade us. What my wife and myself don't understand is that if the mattress is defective whats the big deal, or to put it another way, there not taking it back to resale it because it's defective. We both feel it's not about customer service it's all about profit. Rudy was our sales lady and she was great up until she got our money. Our couches got delivered and i was allergic to them, getting them to accommodate a return was impossible. We have made 3 purchases from Ashley 2 of the 3 have been bad. After having so many issues we felt it was time to share so others are aware and can make a solid decision on where to purchase their furniture. Which is Walker Furniture with Roger. We went looking for a dining room set and worked with Larry. We went over the sale and the different options to purchase plus financing options. They had a 0% financing for 60 months but for some reason he was trying to push 24 months along with the package. We wanted to make sure that it would fit so ran home to measure. Upon  returning to make the purchase we were greeted by the GM of the store.  He ended up assisting us because Larry was busy.  At this time we found out that we could buy the items a la carte and still take advantage of the sale.  It didn't have to be the package that Larry was promoting. Doing it this way we saved almost $300 - $400. We stated that we were not in a hurry as long as we had it by September. The GM stated that everything was in stock the earliest delivery would be June 5th We were surprised come to find out later that this would be the start of the lies. We received an update from them that there was a manufacturer delay. Which we thought was odd if everything was in stock, but went with it.  The new delivery date is June 10th. On June 8th we that everything had come in table and 6 chairs. We were good for the delivery on June 10th. The delivery team arrived a little after 8am. I proceeded to confirm with them what they had and found out that they didn't have all of the chairs. They didn't even have record that there should have been 6 chairs. They only had 4 chairs on the truck. At this point we had now been lied to multiple times. I had to wake up my husband, who works nights, to confirm with him what that we would not be accept a partial delivery. His job and the safety of others depends on him getting sleep.  I also had to miss a day work.  I informed the delivery team that we did not want this delivery since we had been lied to.  The delivery company was on the phone with Ashley informing them. He also stated that he hears things all the times and they are not a good company. We called the customer support number. They could not assist because it was still an open invoice.  He suggested we go back to the store to get this handled. We went to the store GM was not available but we talked to another supervisor who also could not explain all the miscommunication.  At this point we just wanted to cancel the entire order.   Well guess what she couldn't help us because of the status of the order and we would have to come back again.  While we were talking with her, we let her know that our frustration was also do to a previous order that had issues. We had purchased a loveseat that was reclining.  The main selling point was how far back they went.  Upon arrival ours did not go that far back.  We called a tech out to see if it could be adjusted.  He stated nothing he could do.  When we went back to the store to compare models again. This model was no longer on the display floor.  It somehow just disappeared.  We had no proof to compare it too and since we had signed for the delivery there was nothing they could do for us. That was one of the main reason we refused this delivery.   We were not going to be stuck with an incorrect order again. But, as we were walking out of the store the loveseat was now back on display and it worked like it should.  We went back to the supervisor to let her know and she didn't seemed too surprised. We returned to the store again on June 11th to speak with the GM to cancel the order. Explained all of the reasons to him again along with previous purchase.  He had no idea why the warehouse did what they did. Believe it or not he stated yet again that everything was in stock, but not even 24 hours earlier our delivery was incorrect. We started the paperwork to process the cancelation so we can get our money back.  We needed an immediate credit to our card and then needed to ensure nothing went onto our Ashley. She had to call the Ashley Credit Card company to stop any charges.  Once she was done with that call she just went over to a coworker and was working on something else. We had to follow up with her to see if everything was completed She said yes, not sure why she couldn't have followed through with the customer in front of her. While waiting 3 more people waiting to talk to the GM that had issues.  The store had only been opened for about 30 mins and he was already at 4 complaints. As we walked out we showed the GM the couch in question and all he could do was offer to send someone else out again.  At this point we had made up our minds that we wanted nothing else to do with Ashley. Stay away from Ashley unless you like being lied to and dealing with frustration. Instead head over to Walker Furniture and see Roger.   First notch impeccable customer service. read more

When I questioned that, he then read the policy, told me it said 'returns and exchanges are at the discretion of Ashley.' So I guess it was their policy but also their choice?? I got in my car and decided to try the customer service number for the 5th time that day, hoping to get through, which I hadn't before. I did, the women opened a case number for me and said the store would contact me to pick up the chairs and issue my refund. Several issues with Ashley furniture as a whole, not just this store. Buy a couch and warranty for scratches and damage. Call them less than a year and they refer me to the warranty company who keeps telling me it's the stores issue being it's less than a year. Go to the north Decatur location to buy a bed and apparently their deliver ly company doesnt know how to use a phone, bed never delivered because I live on a new street and they cant find it. Can't remember the guys name who had helped me but hes the only reason this place got an extra star, i ordered 4 pieces of furniture in early February and its coming up on the end of june and i still have not received my furniture. The service was good. We selected a dining room table and chairs. The district manager was in the store and knocked off a couple hundred dollars off the sale price. We were told that we got a really good deal. We paid cash and the furniture will be delivered in a week. Later at home, I checked the price on their website site and discovered that the same table and chairs were listed at a lower price. We are disappointed because we feel misled. My cellphone was dead while I was in the store or I would have checked the price online before agreeing to the final terms. They sent a replacement cushion to my house, and I called to schedule the repair. Soonest appointment I could schedule was 2 weeks, I need to call and confirm the appointment, as I've been trying for 2 days or they will cancel the appointment and I have to wait 2 more weeks while I sit on a broken sofa. Tl;dr: Their furniture is garbage. Their customer service is a black hole of multiple people saying "not my problem." Their "warranty" is a scam. Avoid these people at all costs. I have no clue how such a deplorable company is still a big name in furniture. Review: Our problems started at delivery. They shorted us a bench and a couple chairs we ordered. It took over a month to get the stuff we ordered (which was in stock at the time). Then, the back of one of our wood chairs had a splinter that caught on someone's sweater and tore a chunk of stained wood off the chair. Next, the bubbling started. We set a cold bottle of Deep Eddy's vodka down on the high-top "bar" table, and the condensation caused the table to bubble in an area. You know, like the top was made of cardboard. No problem, we thought. We paid $70 extra for the 5-year "wood protection plan" which was represented to us to cover "any kind of damage that can happen to wood," people not using a coaster was given as a specific example. So, we proceeded to contact the warranty people (within 5 days, because that is a requirement - who knows why), and they set up an appointment for a "tech" to come out and look at the damage. About three weeks later, Keith the "tech" arrived an hour after the 10AM to 1PM window we were given. Keith looked at the table and immediately said "water damage, huh?" I said "yep," and Keith proceeded to take multiple photos of the table. After about 10 silent minutes of taking notes, Keith pronounced: "yeah, this isn't going to be covered by your warranty, this table clearly has not been taken care of and there are multiple damaged areas" (referring to other small nicks and scratches the table has suffered from use). I asked Keith where in the warranty it says that the table has to be pristine in order for damage to be covered (I was holding the warranty in my hand), he said he has never read the warranty, but that's what they tell him. I asked Keith for a card, they apparently don't give cards. Keith then nonchalantly walked out of my house and told me to "take it up with them." I called customer service back and found out that Keith wrote in his report I didn't know the cause of the damage and that's why the warranty was being denied, which is BS on so many levels. Anyhoo, it will be a cold day in hell before I buy anything from Ashley again. I hope this helps some fellow Yelpers avoid the same mistake. If you want cheap furniture go to Ikea, at least you know what you're getting. Otherwise, buy actual solid quality furniture somewhere else. Ashley is a joke. read more

We moved in on New Years day and didn't get our set until February. Not only did we not get it close to on time, parts were damaged. I found what I was looking for however, the sales woman was so pushy to the point of when she had the sale I walked away. Her words were, "that's the best deal take it or leave it". So my husband and I bought a table and hutch from Ashley. When we asked about what the table was made of the sales lady said "solid wood", which was anything but the case. When our table arrived it was full of scratches, our hutch has a glass shelf shattered, and a chair was broken. Immediately we didn't not sign for it and Ashley dispatched someone to take care of it. Which has been a total joke. The quality of the table is poor. My husband and I tested it; it seriously stretches if you put a plate on it. I informed customer service this was a problem and the best they could do is replace the table. When I demanded a full refund because the table showed up damaged and poor quality they told me there was nothing they could do except replace the table. So they replaced the table and as soon as the guys put the leaf in it they cracked the wood on the side. But this point my husband had already inspected it and signed for it so they won't take it back even though he called them immediately after the workers CRACKED AND BROKE my new table. We even asked for the customer service rep we worked with before and they seriously told us "we can't find her". Avoid Ashley like the plague. Yay! I'm a fan. So I found myself in a situation that one can only find in first world countries. I just moved into the area, but I wouldn't see all my belonging for about a month. So after the novelty wore off from using a sleeping bag on my living room floor like I was five years old again, I had basically two options. One was to buy an inflatable mattress until my bedroom furniture arrived. The other was to finally ditch all the hand-me-down stuff I've collected since moving out of my parent's place over a decade ago. Despite still working on the whole being an adult always and forever, I wanted to own my first bit of real furniture. So let's start with the bedroom, and let's start at Ashley's. I've had one prior experience with Ashley's (not this one), and it was generally an okay one. Their selection is mostly found online, so the store experience was relatively brief. What I remembered though was the quality of products for the price. They do have the usual fair that can be found just about anywhere for more or less the same price, but if you want something with style that will last, there's no solution other than going to the seller, like Ashley's, itself. This time around, I wanted to be able to have a better idea of what I was getting, and as amazing as the internet is, it pales in ability to convey the size and depth of physical items. This time I also didn't have a terribly good sense of what I wanted, so luckily they have a very experienced staff here with each have decades in the furniture business even before working at Ashley's. The gentleman knew the exact questions to refine my search, and about knew before I did that I just needed to at one point wander and think to myself. It was about as perfect a shopping experience as it can get. At the end, we deduced that I have more expensive tastes than I was ready for, so we departed on the terms that I needed to more time think about it. I returned some time after realizing that in all the furniture considerations, I never gave enough thought to mattress selection. The first gentleman was not available at that hour. Oh, did I mention they have awesome hours for the working class citizen? Yeah, huge kudos there. While I did kind of have to start all over with a new gentleman, I quickly learned that he too was quite experienced -- better yet, in a slightly different way. He also asked me exact questions to refine my search even further. He also went through an interesting, and strangely scientific, exercise to help choose the best level of firmness in a mattress for me. Unfortunately, it went slightly contradictory to what I had always thought, and while he encouraged me to go with what I feel rather than what he concluded, I again decided to depart to do yet more thinking. Truth is: I wanted to make sure I talked to the first gentleman again. They have a neat system for commission at Ashley's. Employees are able to designate percentages of commission from a sale amongst all those involved. While it was the second gentleman who explained this system, I still felt it necessary for my own edification to talk to the first. I ended up glad I did for other reasons too. While I went with the second's recommendations, the first had a better idea of my financial concerns. After a little discussion that I would hardly call haggling, we came to a mutually respectable conclusion. We strap the mattress to the top of my car so I have something to sleep on while I wait for the rest of my furniture to arrive, and at this point I am one happy camper. A weekend goes by, and I realize I want to change my order slightly to better fit my living needs. Despite that it ends up refunding some of my money, I received zero hassle and expedient service. Unfortunately the manager, who are among the only ones authorized to make such changes, failed miserably to tell me this would change the delivery date. Sadly this very human mistake made me wonder on a particular day where the hell my stuff was at. After expressing my disappointment, that manager called me back the following day to apologize. Many moons later, I finally get my furniture. At first, they will schedule you for a whole day to receive your delivery, but a day or so before the actual date, they will call you back to 1) confirm delivery & directions, and 2) to narrow the delivery window for you from the whole day down to four hours. With 45 mins left in the window, truck shows up with a couple guys strong and smart enough for the job. I say that because I opted for a traditional, solid wood theme, which requires a lot more strength and skill to set up. Worse for them: they have to take it all up a narrow set of stairs with tight landings -- without a single bump or scratch. They assembled and placed all the pieces (even the mattress I already had) to my specifications. Without a doubt, my bedroom is now the nicest looking room in all my house -- all thanks to Ashley's. read more
