I bought a bed from the store. I had a terrible experience with the salesperson named Matthew. He was extremely rude and continuously argued with me through out the process even when it was not needed. He kept nagging about buying from Ashley and asked me to buy from other stores when I mentioned that ashley delivery and assembly is very expensive compared to other stores. There are hidden pricing like 180 USD for delivery and assembly per item purchased. Costco does this for free, Dania furniture charges 99 USD. I like Ashley products. But I left the store with a bad experience and rude behavior from the salesperson. read more

Their delivery staffs blocked my car parked in private property. When I asked them to move their truck so I can pull my car, they refused to, gestured to go around them, and treated me as I am invisible. I had to move my car front and back repeatedly in order to pull around their truck. When my car's rear bumper got damaged, they teased me as "Do you want us to move our car now?". I asked for information of their company to share this unrealistic experience, they said my damage is none of their problem, although I am certain it was their problem when they blocked my car in designated area and refused to move. I contacted their Lynnwood store and corporate office multiple times but never got connected or call back from any supervisor. I believed I deserve attention and apology from their supervisor but apparently they did not agree. Even the corporate office said I will need a order number and full information for purchaser even after I explained that I am not a customer. Absolutely disgusting and ignorant experience. Will never purchase or recommend getting involved from this company. read more

Well it looks like we are falling into the same problem alot of other Ashley customers are complaining about here. My wife bought a sofa sleeper couch from Ashley furniture during the Thanksgiving sale. She was told the estimated delivery time would be 1-4-2024. Then it was pushed back to 1-16-2024. That date is today. So after chatting online with them I find out it's been pushed back again to 1-27-2024. Now I'm very concerned, after reading all these yelp reviews, that we'll also be getting screwed by this store. read more

I advise everyone to never ever buy from Ashley ever again We bought one too many of chairs online and wanted to return one. There is a warehouse down the road which first Ashley said we can return to. After that they said that we have to Fedex it and can't return it to the warehouse. The return cost via Fedex is more than the cost of the item ( like $400)!!!. This is ridiculous. They know what they are doing - this isn't an accident. The customer service is horrendous. I REALLY wish I would have read the reviews first before shopping at this Ashley store. My interaction with Redit was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The delivery of my furniture is a whole different story. When I purchased my sofa, chair, and area rug, I was told that all the pieces were in stock. When I received the call from the delivery company, I was told that all the pieces were not in stock and they only had the sofa. The original delivery date was 10/4 but I decided to reschedule for 10/9 so that I would receive the whole delivery at the same time. I had my old furniture removed so that I could get my carpet cleaned before the new furniture was delivered. And yes, you guessed it, I received ANOTHER call saying that the chair was STILL not in stock!!! WTH!! The new date I was given is 10/13 but it wouldn't be able to be delivered until 10/16!! This is insane!! I have no furniture in my living room. I even asked if I could have the chair that's on display in the store. I told them that I would even rent a truck to pick it up and have it cleaned. I've never had an issue like this from a furniture store. I'm really contemplating returning the whole purchase and asking for a full refund and going to a different store. From all the reviews I've read this seems to be an ongoing issue when it comes to the delivery company. I just don't understand that if you are getting the same complaints from your customers that they wouldn't fix this issue. Instead of taking it back as the delivery people are supposed to do they dropped it downstairs in my house and left. I had the make 3 trips to the store and spend hours on the phone to get them to come pick it back up. Now 3 weeks later I do not have my refund yet either. This store operates like a shady car lot. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any business. We bought a couch that had to be delivered. We didn't have many issues with purchasing it but when it came to delivery the customer service was absolutely abysmal. They called to schedule a time to deliver and everything seemed fine but the date came and they did not call at all, got to my location, did NOT knock on my door, took a picture to prove they were were there, and then left with my couch still on the truck. I was home all day because I knew it was getting delivered and they claimed no one was home. Called the location and got the runaround and no information so I decided to go in. They seemed helpful enough but after being told i would get called to schedule another delivery date on the next day I never got a call. I ended up calling the Burlington location where an employee named Wesley was incredibly helpful and kind actually went out of his own way to drive to the warehouse to find my couch and make sure it was on the delivery truck and personally ensured that we would be contacted prior to the delivery. The delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and I have still yet to receive any communication from the Lynwood location in regards to this issue. So shoutout to Wesley for being going above and beyond. I don't usually buy new furniture and I know for sure that I will never buy anything from this business again after how much of a hassle we had to deal with just to get a couch. read more

This is not so much a rating on the store and staff, as they have good inventory, layout and nice sales people. My wife and I selected a living room set. Couch, chaise and 3 piece set two end tables and a living room coffee table. We were moving into a new home, so these pieces were important to my wife. I was told by the store staff to respond to the text (which my wife and I did), the email (which we did) prior to delivery to confirm. I even called and acknowledged it also... and guess what? They missed the CONFIRMED date and time, Sat at ~8:15am. I called and asked immediately at 8:30am why I got a text for a Monday delivery? They said that is the date. This is Ashley corporate and routing - not the store. Then on top of that since they don't deliver on Sunday! So we have to sit on the floor and wait till Monday!!! I asked for a refund of my delivery at least for the inconvenience and they said - take it up with the store!!! The store did give me credit on next purchase, which is why the two star versus 1. Ashley corporate - fix your automated delivery confirmation systems and routing staff! I hope Amazon buys them one day and actually shows what real delivery and customer service looks like! We had a good experience both with in-store purchase process, delivery, and an exchange of one of the items (a chipped mirror). We walked into the store randomly thinking we'll just look at some couches and they had a Memorial Day sale that day. We just finished moving into our new house, so we were dressed pretty scrappy after a long week of unpacking and maintenance work. Despite our "homeless" appearance we were immediately greeted by Moustafa who was very polite and helpful. Quite a difference, because we were ignored in a few furniture stores that day presumably because we didn't dress up and it was an impromptu trip. As they say, don't judge a book by its cover.. We shopped the store for about an hour, while periodically asking a question here and there. Moustafa was great, he was available for questions, but did not "hover" or tail us like some sales reps do. We felt like this was a very low-pressure experience, and he was quite informative and pointed us to pieces within the store that we were looking for. We ended up getting A LOT of furniture (couch, tables, dining server, mirror, TV stand, etc). Moustafa even applied some pricing corrections to price-match with their online store where certain things were a bit cheaper. I appreciated Moustafa checking the warehouse and store inventory to make sure items were actually in stock. We've had other furniture stores sell us things that were not in stock, so it was refreshing to see them actually care that we would get our items. They quoted us ~1 week for delivery. The delivery got re-scheduled, but only by a couple of days. Honestly, right now everything is late, overpriced, and out of stock everywhere, so a couple of days delay wasn't bad at all! The delivery guys came in an assembled everything. One of the mirrors was slightly chipped / cracked. I reached out to customer service via online chat and uploaded a photo, they scheduled a free replacement right away with no questions asked. We got the replacement today (~1.5 weeks later) and it was a no-fuss experience. We will be buying from Ashley Homestore again, as overall that's the best furniture store experience we've had in many years. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. The staff and the manager (Andre) are extremely rude. They try to cheat the customer with false promises at every juncture. Andre actually said "get out" to me and my 5 year old son and threatened my family when I asked him why the sales lady failed to mention the 5-6 week timeline delay for delivery for "in stock" items, when I asked her about it when I entered the store and only told me once I spent 2 hours picking the furniture. Never going back to Ashley after this experience. We bought a lot of furniture over the years at Ashley but never again. Also their furniture protection plan is a big ruse.
