    Great service, great experience! My boyfriend and I purchased a home recently, so we've been shopping around for a dining set. After looking at a few things online and being disappointed by some oddly textured, fake-looking wood peices at another store nearby, we found a beautiful, real wood set at Ashley and were assisted by Curtis. Curtis is the best! He was super friendly and very helpful. We were toying around with the idea of mixing and matching different chairs with the dining table, and he graciously took us around the store, discussing pros and cons of some of our chair options. He was very honest and helpful in discussing different tones of wood, fabric, leather, etc. In the end, we decided to stick with the matching chairs. While waiting for the paperwork to be printed, he brought us each complimentary coffees. After everything was said and done and we were about to leave, we decided to inquire about an additional bench option. Curtis came back with not only the name and item number, but also measurements and weight and price, simply for our reference. He was so helpful, we decided to just add on the bench, too! :) We would definitely come back and work with Curtis again for any of our future furniture needs!

    I wish I can give a better rating because the quality is pretty decent. The issue I have is selling people insurance/Warranty for furniture but the warranty is not really covered ever! They will not replace your damaged sofa, bed, or anything. The technician who came to my home was very nice and was brutally honest with me and said it's 99% chance they will rather have a tech come fix it then replace it. The email I attached here is proof they will never replace or repair anything. Which is sad because after paying over 9k in furniture you will think they will help their customer. I just want to warn others please don't fall for the warranty policy, IT DOES NOT EXIST !

    Do not shop at Ashly furniture. Your better off going to Roseavelt ave and buy the cheapest furniture and it would be better/ last longer than this place. We purchased a dining set from there, no even 2 years later the leather started to peel. We were sold a platinum warranty and told everything was covered from rips to scratches no matter what. What a scam and flat out lie. 2 grand in the garbage. I would also like to add we barley used it. Mostly on holidays and family dinners. A total of 2 dozen times, at most.

    Missing piece -- cushions fell off every 5 seconds until the rest of the sectional was there.

    Don't even bother browsing or doing business with this store/company. Bought a specific sectional and THE MOVERS damaged the piece. Put me on the phone with customer service gave me the option to keep it and have someone come to fix it. I opted to decline the piece because with the damage they would need to replace anyway. Fast forward to 5 phones, a visit to the store, texts with the salesman, a call from the manager and customer service -- nothing was done. THE MOVERS AND WAREHOUSE put the wrong piece in the computer that I declined... EVEN THOUGH I SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE WAREHOUSE ON WHAT PIECE. It took 2 WEEKS to then get that one piece THE WHOLE REASON I BOUGHT THIS SECTIONAL, to arrive at my house. It is now 3 WEEKS since I've spoken with Marlin, apparently a manger (but the lady in the store stated Racquel was the manager???), to get back to me about refunding the one sectional as well as the delivery fee they made me pay $500+ for. Do not waste your time, money, or effort... you will be disappointed & left with a headache. Buyers remorse is real on this one! I wasn't even going to post a review because I feel one bad experience should not ruin a business but based off other reviews, this business sucks. UPDATE: the customer service offered me $100 (HALF of the delivery fee). Pathetic for a $2600+ purchase and they can't even refund the full delivery fee. ESPECIALLY since the delivery/warehouse messed up. They can keep the $100!

    We ordered our furniture from our salesman, Jeff Post in December. He was great to deal with, in fact gave us his cell & email address should any issues arise. Boy, did we fall for it! We were told the furniture was in stock & would be delivered within 4 weeks. Well, we are now in the middle of February...and no furniture. Every time I call customer service they give me a date that's 3 weeks out-seems like bs to me! We paid in full for the furniture, donated our living room & moved with no living room furniture thinking our new furniture would be arriving quickly. Customer service gives you a phone number to call the store manager that only brings you back to customer service again. I recommend that you purchase your furniture elsewhere-where they tell you the truth. Update 3/11/2021: We have received both pieces of furniture-as you can see, our living room looks beautiful! Thanks to Austin from Ashley Furniture for all his help. He has made me reconsider-I do think I would shop at Ashley Furniture in the future.

    Horrible couches. Sadly my couch did not even last a year and cushions were replaced 2 times. Not worth the money.

However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. It's definitely one of the go-to places I will check when needing homewares.

Called Bob's Discount Furniture to return and get reimbursed, but they said I only had 3 days from the delivery date to return it, and they could not help me. They said it was a 3rd party seller, so they would not help me. I had no idea they sell furniture that isn't Bob's Furniture. That is horrible customer service!! I never heard of a store that does not let you return. I even offered to pay the return shipping for my refund but was denied. Shame on Bob's Furniture Store.

She said we don't give refunds. only store credit. I said i don't need anything else and honestly i don't feel comfortable buying from your establishment any longer. she said i'm sorry but that is store policy. I asked to speak to the Manager who naturally and conveniently wasn't there. so i am currently waiting for the manager to call me back. Had this associate told me that i would have to wait a month and a half for this chair I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT THERE. So buyers beware. We were the ones who eventually caught the store's mistake when reviewing the receipt, and when we did, the rep treated it very casually. Instead of taking real accountability, we were told there was only a '50/50 chance' of fixing it and that we might need to deal with a duplicate charge, essentially holding two charges at once, until the right bed was ready. A duplicate charge for a mistake that was not ours is not a solution. It is unfair and unacceptable, and now we'll have to wait at least an additional month for the correct bed to be delivered. This was not our mistake, yet the options presented still left us facing extra charges and unnecessary stress while this Macy's location avoided taking responsibility for its negligence. The way this store handled the situation showed careless customer service. They brushed off their own mistake instead of taking it seriously or being proactive, which forced us to escalate to another employee. We trusted Macy's because of its name, but this experience proved that reputation means nothing without real customer care. I wish I had looked at the Yelp reviews beforehand because it is clear my experience is not the only one like this. If you expect accountability or reliable customer service, look to another nearby furniture store in the area. Responsibility is simply not a part of how this Macy's location operates.

As to the store it is not set up well and there are some really junk pieces that shouldn't be there, especially the couches. IMO. Most of the items have been pulled prodded and otherwise Unser. I saw two people sitting on a couch with their shoes and feet on TJ he couches. I hope they were buying it. I find the chairs and bedroom end table to be overpriced for the situation. However, I am very glad they are there and the inventory changes often. If you keep coming, you'll likely find a good deal! The sales people are varied in terms of their engagement with the clients. One man, the older man, was very aggressive and got me to apply for a Macy's card. Of course there was a 20% discount in it for me. The other young fellow who I checked out with for my table was not engaging even though I tried to get him to help me with the bed. Consequently I lost the 20% discount on the table. I should have waited to checkout.

They sent out an inspector for the manufacturer warranty and replaced the whole sofa. Eight months later the same issue again. They sent another inspector and this inspector says this is normal wear. Seriously- eight months and the cushions are sinking in. They refuse to honor the manufacturer warranty and told me to call the extended warranty company which I did pay for at the purchase. The extended warranty company Worry No More says - oh we don't cover cushions - sorry. So there is no assistance available for a sofa that is a few grand and only a year and a half old. Please shop somewhere else.

    5/25 Well! well!--- well! well! what have we here? A…read moreContainer Store in Garden City. The only Container Store I remembered was in White Plains NY and that is out of my way. Going in and finding exactly what I wanted made the shopping spree more than wonderful. The store was clean and the product in the section I was in, needed a lot of attention, however I did manage to find something at an awesome price. After picking out my treasured piece, I looked around the store for a few minutes more and then I headed over to the cashier where the service I received got better and better and better. SERVICE* So in reality, the service was GOOD because I found the container store. That's having a store available in the town I was visiting. The service got BETTER because they had what I needed, at a reasonable price and it's availability. The service was at its BEST when I checked out and paid less at check out and, not only that, I'm excited now.... The cashier left me dumbfounded when she put a Bed, Bath, & Beyond (BB&B) coupon in my bag. I was literally like, what's this. What's happening, what's going on. And then she told me that The Container Store will be stocking BB&B products in the store really soon. TOUCHDOWN!! IYKYK if you didn't, NYK! I just made that last part up to keep the acronyms flowing. It's Now You Know. But in all seriousness, I can't wait to get back to shopping here. And having a plus one that is so willing and patient felt surreal. Hands down, they gave me two good reasons to... Inspire more, Yelp more!
