We ordered a complete front room furniture set with lamps. They spent a lot of time with us picking out lamps that were not part of the original furniture group. The lamps we chose were more expensive than the standard lamps that came with the furniture group. They were very accomodating in adjusting the price by removing small items that came with the furniture group that we actually did not want. Our buying experience with the sales women was great. She was very new in her position. She didn't have all the answers but she got all the answers we needed to make the sale finale. Our delivery was delayed for for about ten days due to some manufacturing issues but they notified us as soon as they were aware of the issues. After setting up a second delivery date they ran into more delays from the manufacturer. Once we explained to them our dissatisfaction about the delays and that problems like this would be a reason to choose going to another furniture store in our town for our future purchases they were able to get the problems rectified in a timely manner. They also sent us a gift card for future purchases. Their actions showed us that they truly cared about our satisfaction. I was shopping around for couches and a bed for my daughter. She has a back injury, suffers from chronic pain and is only 12. Amber and Brandon's personal attention, knowledge and helpfulness, without being pushy, superseded all other local furniture and mattress stores in the area. Yes, I went to several. Brandon Walsh is your guy if you need a mattress. His expertise and insistence that my daughter try out some beds for 15 minutes each is exactly what helped her choose the RIGHT mattress. Most stores have you bounce from one mattress to the next. But that 15 minutes allows your body to adjust and test its comfort. Amber and Brandon went above and beyond in assisting me. They gave me unbeatable deals on both the couches and mattress. They were kind, funny and listened intently to our needs. They were very, very respectful and do not operate in the typical sales person way. They truly cared for us to get what was best for us. They have my loyalty forever! Worked with many different salesman and managers and even visited the store multiple times, always going back for more! Everyone took care of me with honesty and respect and treated me like family! My husband and I are in the middle of moving and wanted to purchase some new furniture for our home. They didn't have a wall-size entertainment unit on the floor, but the Manager graciously grabbed the order catalog and had us look around. I found the unit I wanted right away and he not only gave us a deal, but it was an AMAZING deal which included a heavy discount along with free delivery, set up and clean up! I cannot wait to get this in my home! Jairo was a wonderfully kind manager and showed a lot of attention to us while we were there alongside the other very kind employee/salesman, Russ. He is a newer employee still learning, but was more than happy to go get answers for us, work with us and even ask for help from Jairo if/when it was needed. I don't normally rate any business good or bad, but this place needs to be out of business. As a Carr Fire victim, I purchased a complete bedroom set from Ashley along with the Furniture Pro protection plan in October 2019. The set was delivered and has a defect in a drawer not closing properly. I've called the local (Redding) store and spoke with "Red". Red was unable to help and passed my call to someone else. A female answered and stated another person would call me later. I never received that call. I called back in the afternoon and "Red" answered again and told me I need to make a claim with Furniture Pro. I called furniture Pro and was told that a manufacture defect needs to go through that department. They provided a number 800-477-0097 option 4. I am currently on terminal hold on that number. Now 20 minutes listening to Christmas music. I'm hanging up. I wasted 3900.00 and will never shop at Ashley again. I suggest you look else where, any where, also. 4-25-2015 Went shopping for a sectional couch. I was pleasantly surprised to find a good quality sectional at a phenomenal price. The store manager, Brandon, was eager to please and delighted to close the sale. 4-30-2015 Delivery was prompt and on time. They said 12:30 - 4pm - they were there at 12:30. The driver even called before he showed up!! The delivery people were clean and friendly. 5-7-2015 We did find a slight cut on the corner wedge (packing knife went through the plastic and lightly touched the leather). I have contacted Brandon, and we shall see if he is able to follow through and replace the corner wedge. I expect that he will be able to execute. 5-8-2015 I have spoken with Brandon and he is willing to replace the corner section. They will be able to replace the unit in 3 weeks. This is acceptable considering it takes 2 weeks to ship a piece of furniture across the country. 5-29-2015 corner sectional arrived today - looks good - thanks for the service. We recently bought some living room furniture at Ashley Home Store in Redding, CA. The store is well merchandised with an amazing amount of sale/discount options. We found a couple styles that we liked but would have kept looking had it not been for our sales associate Cliff Benet. He answered my husband's questions directly and without artifice. He gave us a good price on a rug that completed our set and was very helpful without the "used car salesman" run-around and smarmy attitude present in most stores of this type. He did play around with the price a lot, but since it was to our advantage, no problem, but it does make you feel a bit like no matter what the final price is, you could have gotten a better deal. We took that to be Ashley's business model and really didn't hold that against Cliff. Bottom line - Cliff was very professional, knowledgeable and a great salesman. He sealed the deal for us and we want the management at Ashley to know they have a real asset in Cliff. read more

My wife and I had a very pleasant shopping experience at Ashley's in Redding. It really is the people that make or break the furniture shopping experience, and these guys were great. Specifically Craig and David. Craig helped us as we tried to narrow down our options and was very patient with us. He also had good discernment to know when to give us some space to talk 1:1 and browse around. Then as we came to decision time, Craig inquired with his manager, David, who came to explain some of our options and really worked with us to get the best deal. We have been in this town for over 16 years and my wife and I have shoped in about every furniture store there is in this town. Have had good customer service at some and poor customer service at others. Some so bad, it's no wonder they go out of business. That has not been our experience at Ashley Furniture Home Store with Jeff Reeves. Not only are their prices reasonable on Quality Furniture and Tempur-Pedic beds. We are thrilled with the purchase of 2 recliners, a loveseat, and accent chair. We first met Katrina last February, but because we were moving, we put our purchases on hold for a few months. When we returned, Katrina remembered us and was wonderful with giving us ideas and thoroughly answering our questions. Jairo couldn't have been nicer, too, with our final sale and reassuring us that our merchandise would be ready for pickup when we bring our moving truck. I just moved to Redding and was shopping for furniture around town and I want to say that I was very pleased with the overall customer service, politeness, and information about their products and deals. When we first walked in, no associate greeted us or offered us help, but Brandon was the only one who approached us, giving us the information we didnt know about the couch we were sitting on. After that, I found the couch set I wanted and had been looking for and immediately went back to Brandon and told him I wanted that set. He was very informative and helpful. From experiences at the former Ashley store I finally came to the new store at its new location. Difference was noticeable. Excellent help from Amber who was extremely nice and very helpful. No pressure to buy and no 'stalking' when you walk through the front door. Amber understood what I was looking for and showed us our options. It turned out that what I was looking for was not what I bought. She wanted to show me a style I had not thought and yes it was perfect. We returned the next day after taking measurements home. I have had very good deliveries to my home too. Excellent customer service. They are all very friendly and professional. I always feel at home when I go into the store and one of the managers even gave me a gift card after I purchased an entertainment center. They also have good over the phone service and always get back to me and give very good prompt service. This is the new corporate Ashley store in Redding. So amazing and what a difference it makes. Light years better than the old store or any other furniture option in Redding. Just bought a Tempur-Pedic from Thomas (sales associate) and David (manager) and had the most wonderful experience. They both gave great customer service and answered all of my questions, just a great experience. Had a great experience at Ashley working with Chris Ryan. He was very patient with us as we had a hard time fully commiting to our purchase. He gave us time to converse look around and did not apply pressure. We made our purchase and set up delivery. The delivery was early but they called to ask if it was ok. It was, the delivery team came and set everything up and took the mess. They even showed interest in my sons excitement over their power drills and offered to show him how it worked. They sincerely care about you and help you out any possible that they can!! I hated Ashely's furniture due to my previous location (palmdale ca) so I wasn't sure about this location either.
