I had to give a star in order to place a review. I bought the Bladen couch and chair which I received in November 2020. Took a very long time to receive the chair. Couch was delivered on time, but found out when I called to inquire on the eta, it had been sitting in their warehouse waiting for me to pick up. Why? No clue. In early February of this year, I noticed the sides and back of furniture was getting all snagged and pilling, I assume from their microfiber material. I immediately took pictures and went into the Roseville store to complain. I live alone and there was no reason this should have been happening within the few months I had purchased it. Took another 5 weeks for a technician to come to my home and say it appears to be normal wear and tear. Of course my response was, after owning only 3 months??? Needless to say it ended up not being a win win situation. I got rid of the furniture and ended up buying a sectional online from Wayfair and couldn't be happier. I should have looked at the reviews prior but live and learn. Funny because every person I have spoken to since this has had a horrible customer service issues with Ashley and will never shop there again. read more

We had a wonderful experience at this store. Right when we walked in we were greeted by a lovely sales associate named Vicky. She even gave us a gift card towards our purchase! How nice is that?! We ended up purchasing furniture for our entire family room and we are so pleased with everything. The delivery was fast and hassle free and we have received a few follow up calls which I really appreciate. If you need new furniture go here! Unfortunately the customer service was deplorable. We bought a bedroom set for my daughter and it was one problem after another. I will say the staff in the store are all super nice but unfortunately unable to follow through with simple tasks such as communication, give a call back, follow up on delivery and returns, etc. The other major issue is the wherehouse shipping dept. They take over one week to return an item back into their computer system, if at all. Usually need management to get involved and babysit the process. And their communication is not helpful. You basically need to work with mangers in the store to get anything done and it still doesn't get done. Numerous visits to the store and numerous phone calls were done just to return items. Of note, what they have in the store does not match what is delivered so watch for that. And items shipped are very difficult to return once you accept them. So if there is any doubt, return immediately and do not accept the item!!!!! The showroom presents beautiful. The computers are awesome. The staff are all very nice. BUT they are lacking in customer service and quality. Please shop somewhere else and save yourself a headache. read more

I like the sofa Sectional I got my problem also happened doing delivery the truck pulled up i bought a large three piece Sectional they took all three pieces out of the truck I am out front the driver said to me you are going to have to haul away all the packing material I said I don't thing so they were rapped in three layers of packing Including cardboard then the Attitudes started. they got the first piece in the house then the driver said somebody stole his box cutter and asked if I had one so I went and got him one after the job was done I was to sign for the delivery I was checking the sofa for damage I signed the paper he was out the door in A split second then I looked for my box cutter it was gone so somebody stole his and he stole mine I Immediately called Ashley the person I talked to said the supervisor would have them return to give it back still waiting. its not a valuable tool but its the Principal I have A lot of time on my hands so they will wake up when they get a Subpoena for small claims court the court cost will be more then the tool but the tool has Sentimental value It is been over two months and I still haven't heard anything I've left messages and emails they're just ignoring me read more

I'm only giving a 2 star and I feel that's a bit high for the experience and lies I went through. I went in and they said we match online prices and would give the discount showed all over the store which was 50% off. So I asked multiple times will you give me the Internet price shown and the 50% off the lady said yes 100% I said cool will take this set here. After she punched in all the numbers she did not give me the 50% off she said oh the Internet price is already half off and I mentioned that's not what you said you were going to do Internet price and 50%. So the manager and her accused me of not understanding and that I was wrong when I already said no she told me this. Very nice salesman (Alex) and as usual, high quality furniture that I purchased. But this HomeStore is by far the worst I have ever worked with. I feel like they only cared about making money. My delivery was a nightmare - they never scheduled it with me, just showed up at my house one day when I was at work. So I missed that. When the furniture actually did get delivered, it was by a delivery company the manger "highly recommended" but that alone was awful. The delivery guy showed up SOLO with a young child to deliver a heavy dining room set and the truck tore up my front yard. The second half of my delivery wasn't scheduled with me either, they again showed up on a random day of the week... I thankfully was at a vet appointment and was able to get back home in time to catch them on my driveway leaving where they proceeded to give me the rest of my purchase to put in my car because they weren't able to bring it back up to the house again. Every time I called the store out of frustration I was completely blown off. Their management is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional, their customer service representative was so rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find a different ashley store - just don't use this one. read more

STAY AWAY! Their customer service is GARBAGE. We ordered our couch on 8/10/2020. On 9/15/2020 we got our couch delivered, but only two-thirds of it because the chaise was on back order. They told me that the chaise would get delivered on 9/23 and the day before I got a phone call saying there was a delay in the truck and they wouldn't be able to deliver it. Rescheduled for a week later, waited for my delivery and it never came. I called them probably 6 times before anyone answered the phone and they told me that the girl I had talked to before must have been mistaken and it was on the truck that was supposed to get to the warehouse the next day and they would be able to deliver it in 48hrs. 48hrs comes around, no delivery. I call them again and they tell me AGAIN it's on the truck that's supposed to get to the warehouse the next day, but this time they wouldnt be able to deliver it until October 13th, after arguing with the lady she then tells me she will try to get it sooner. In the middle of the week we get a text saying it's set to be delivered on October 4th. Today is October 4th and I called to see if we are getting our delivery today and once again, NOPE. Absolutely ridiculous. Once again was told it looks like it's on the truck that's supposed to get to the warehouse on the 5th. Asked for a refund for my delivery fee but apparently i have to go into the store for that. This girl also told me that they send out automated text messages. So why are you guys sending out automated text messages telling me my delivery is scheduled for this day if it's not? Got transferred to someone else and she told me that my delivery was scheduled for September 15th. (Uh, DUH lady, we're in October now. I got half of my delivery last month, that's not the issue) She then tells me that my chaise is ready to be delivered? Okay then where is it? She says she can get it delivered on 10/21/2020. So we are at almost 8 weeks now still waiting on our chaise and have been told several different times it would be coming on "X" day but it never does. Absolutely pathetic service. We'll see if it actually comes on the 21st but I will believe it when I see it. We also emailed the store manager Kevin who has not returned our email and no one at the store ever answers the phone. Yet, when you're in the store they're all just sitting around at the counter hanging out and chit chatting with each other. A gross company that I will never shop for again. Our first purchase was great! the salesman was super nice and helped us out finding a few items. I was so happy I went back to buy a bed frame. The woman who helped me wasn't very helpful and was being a pushy sales person. Outside that I was so excited to get the frame. The delivery showed up and the wrong parts came so the bed couldnt be completed. The footboard was missing and instead 3 side pieces came. So they loaded it back on the truck and took it away. They said they called someone about it but after waiting for a full day to hear back we called and no one knew about the issue. So we finally got it rescheduled and the same problem happened. I went into the store to get the issue fixing determine that the wrong items for the bed had been ordered. The woman. at the desk wasn't wearing a masks for starters. The sales woman who had helped me denied doing anything wrong and kept insisting she ordered correctly. In the processes of fixing my order the woman at customer service (still not wearing a mask) helped someone else instead of finishing my replacements. She then stopped to check a text from a co-worker who had just had a baby to show off the baby picture. Then said I had to email her the Next day to complete the replacement because the items haven't made it back to the warehouse. In the middle of getting me her information she picked up a personal call from that same newly delivered co-worker And stayed on the phone with her while she was handing me paperwork. So completely unprofessional and zero customer service mindset. When spending $1,000 on a bed frame and hundreds on the previous purchase I expect so much better. The new Ashley furniture has great furniture. However, buying the furniture takes more patience than I have. We came in, pointed to exactly what we wanted. One hour later we are still waiting for them to take our money! I think one of the problems is they have new associates that are not very computer savvy and since they work on commission the associates don't seem all that willing to help each other! I went to the Roseville Ashley Furniture and was greeted by a salesman named Abdel. He looked at me and told me I looked tired (I was in the hospital with my brother all day) and asked what I was looking for. When I told him the couch I wanted, he took me to see a few. The very first question I asked was if Ashley furniture removes old couches. Abdel told me no, so I said "thank you so much for your time". Once I started walking away, Abdel said "oh but for you? We will do it". During this time, Abdel was complimenting my tattoos, told me how beautiful I am and asked many questions about my boyfriend. He explained how lucky my boyfriend is to have the perfect woman During this whole exchange, I repeatedly asked Abdel to make sure it is put on the receipt that Ashley furniture will remove the old couch. He told me that there is no way to put it on the receipt but he will make sure that it gets done. After this, while I was walking out of the store, Abdel asked me if he could come over to my house and try out the couch. I was so shocked that I left the store immediately. That night, I received a text message from Abdel. He went into my account and got my phone number to send me a text. The Next day, I called and spoke with the manager named G. G was very polite and apologized for how I had been treated in his store. In order to avoid a sexual-harassment lawsuit, he offered me $200 in store credit after my return of the sofa. Once I returned the sofa, I got another text message from Abdel asking why I canceled the order and that he never lied to me. To avoid a lawsuit and the financial burden, I ordered a nightstand. When it came, I noticed it was the wrong one. That was my fault. My boyfriend and I took the nightstand back to the store, still in the box, to get the correct one. G did not look happy to see me in the store again and was actually quite rude and dismissive. Another manager at the store even "shooed" my boyfriend away. It has been a week and a half and I still have not received it. I called Ashley furniture HomeStore this morning and was told that the order was never entered. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had purchasing furniture. Oh and by the way, Abdel was never fired. read more

If I could give this store negative stars I would! This is hands down the worst business (if you can call it that) out there! Avoid Ashley Home furniture at all costs! They have the most incompetent and un thoughtful employees and especially managers here! The roseville store specifically is absolutely terrible! My wife and I have spent quite a bit of money on furnishing our new home and chose to go to Ashley unfortunately. We ordered a sectional couch in April and we're lied to by a sales woman who promised us we would have our entire couch delivered in 2 shipments within two weeks of eachother. It is now June 16 and we still haven't received our entire couch. My wife is pregnant and now they are telling us our 1 piece we are missing will not be delivered until the same week my wife's due date! I even tried to cancel a wedge piece with a manager (Mustaf Batayneh) two weeks ago who assured me it was cancelled and I was being refunded. He also promised me he would call me back (never did) and inform me where my end piece was. My wife and I called today and spoke to Jeannine (customer service) who has been the most helpful of anyone. She stated that the wedge piece was never returned and I wasn't set up for a refund. Managers are completely incompetent! My wife especially has been consistently completely dis respected by this awful company by customer service in the Ashley Roseville store. This place is the worst! We tried a mattress in the store and liked it, so we ordered one. What we got was not like the mattress in the store and I called and called and called. I called the store, I called the head office, I called the warranty people and any customer service numbers I could find for them. They tried hard to ignore me, they NEVER returned my calls. They claimed that employees I spoke to never worked there or they never heard of them. They told me that all managers were busy. They just gave me nothing but the runaround. In the end, I was told definitively that the mattress was ours now and that it was tough if we didn't like it they would never take it back. I told them that we were good customers, made several purchases, had a high credit account with them and that we would never make another purchase from them if they screwed us over on this. Apparently, they didn't care, and still don't. We hate this mattress and are still paying it off. When we've paid it off we'll go elseward for a new one, as well as our Livingroom furniture that we are replacing next year. We HATE Ashley's and we tell anyone who will listen not to shop there! read more

This store deserves 0 stars!!!! The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever!! I don't know why my husband and I even gave it a second chance after the ordeal we went through with them the last time...it has been several years since we had that bad experience and we no longer shopped at their stores. I guess when I saw that they had opened up a new location maybe..just maybe we would have a better experience. STRIKE TWO!!!! We explained our last trip ( horrible experience) to Brian the salesman and he basically reassured us that things would be different this time around... Spoken too soon. Another terrible attempt to deliver our piece of furniture. They kept changing our delivery date and time. 4 times!!!! Do they not realize people have jobs and we can't sit around and wait all day and night ?? We specifically had a day/time set and their so called " text confirmation " reminders are the worst!! They continued to change our day and times it was ridiculous!!! Then when they finally delivered it had noticed a couple small chips at the bottom of out tv console. Granted I didn't make them take it back because the delivery guy said they could have a technician come out and fix it. I did make a note of it on the invoice and called the store right away. Of course the gal on the phone was of no help.. the usual run around and she pretty much said I would have to jump through hoops to get anything resolved and that there was no point in trying to get anyone to help me from the store...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Who says that??? She proceeded to give me corporate's # to call and deal with them. Ok, I do that. They want pictures so I send them..oh but wait, now we want some with you standing next to it...? Buyer Beware! This store does not allow returns on purchases unless they were damaged in shipping. Purchase your items online instead where they will allow returns for any reason. I recently purchased an item from the store when the salesperson assured me they could match the online price which was about half the price displayed in the store. I was told to check the item when it arrived to be sure it wasn't damaged; I was not told that would be the only condition for return of the item. When it arrived at my home it did not work with my decor at all. When I inquired about returning the item, I was told they only accepted damaged items. Came into the store to buy a furniture set because someone I know bought one here a year ago and had a great experience. Ours was not very good. Salesman was terrible, he was new and left alone to flounder through the process. We knew what we wanted and it still took almost three hours to complete the process. There was a mistake with our coffee and end tables, so after dealing with rude people on the phone we went in and dealt with more people that had little to no knowledge, but finally we settled for the floor model because they had nothing comparable to what we originally bought. We got tables and even though they had a scratch in them we took them-no discount or anything. People that loaded them also rude. We purchased a picture as well-should have had it in two days that was over a week ago-still nothing. Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

We have been trying to get warranty service since October, and it's now the middle of April and we finally got a technician out today, seven months later. I bought a new bed with the hybrid mattress. I went in one day before making my purchase To browse; I browsed for about 2 hours then told my sales associate I would be back next day to purchase. I went back next day and waited over 2.5hours for my sales associate; he walked lasted me 3 times and not once said hello to me, when he finally got to me I was rushed through the whole process, there was curse words dropped throughout my transaction I felt awkward and rushed. He's telling me how much money he has made already ($8000 in sales) that made me feel uncomfortable because I know you are there to sell but I don't need to feel like I'm just another transaction. I was guaranteed a delivery date and then nothing. I got a text saying there would be a delay of 5 days from guaranteed date after I said and put in writing DO NOT CONTACT ME VIA TEXT. I contacted store customer service to have someone call me and NOTHING, nobody bothered to call me back I contacted customer service again they said they would send me a $100 gift card for my inconvenience (never received it). I personally went to the store and asked what was going on and they said well I'll refund you the delivery fee. They talked to a guy named Perry something like that maybe store manager or something then perry came over not showing any kind of sympathy or apologetic, after I told him the situation again he offered me a $100 gift card but only gave me a$50 gift card, he couldn't even keep his word on the gift card. So days pass and delivery comes. The guys who set up my bed asks where my foundation box is at? I said what you mean I was told multiple times I didn't need one because of the slats, he said no there's no slats and you won't be able to sleep in bed without a foundation so I immediately call the store and the sales associate Tim tried to blame me for his mistake he said I thought you said you had a foundation. I specifically asked multiple times at initial purchase if he was sure I didn't need a foundation he said no. After all the ordeal of back and forth he said he would give me a brand new $200 foundation for his mistake. Days pass again I called to ask about delivery of foundation and they said Tim would call me back againNOBODY called I finally went in A week later after no one bothered to call me back not even my sales associate. When I show up I said no one called me back he acted surprise ignored the situation and said go around back of store to pick up foundation. I go to back wait 10-15mins for someone to open the door and when the foundation is being brought out it was opened not wrapped in plastic, it's dirty and damaged, and it's still being dragged out across the dirty floor; I asked Tim; what, it isn't even wrapped! He said "no I told you nothing is wrapped here!" Which he never mentioned when someone says brand new I assume it's packaged up. It was raining and I asked for something to cover the foundation. I was given 3 pieces of cardboard!!! My brand new bed and new mattress stink they smell mouldy. Horrible experience all the way through that was my first time being a customer and must likely my last. I don't see myself purchasing or going back to Ashley furniture. Bad customer service from sales associate all the way up to customer service.. to bad I had to give one star because I would have given no stars. read more

Our most recent experience was very good. We bought a chaise for our daughter and our salesperson Brian Greenberg was great. He really helped us find the right rug to go with it and set up delivery. I was very impressed with him from start to finish. This was definitely a 5 star trip and I would buy from him again. I went in to order a bed frame I had seen online and was hoping to see in "in real life." They did not have the bed on floor but assured me they would match the online price and chided me never to buy furniture on line. I ordered the frame and box springs and was given a delivery date of 3 days hence. I paid with credit card a charge just under 900 dollars. When I got home I responded to a text stating they would put my furniture on the truck and would contact me for time frame on delivery day. That is the last I ever heard from them. No delivery on promised day or following days. Called customer service, they told me only available delivery slotwas in 2+ weeks which did not work. I asked to cancel the order and was transferred to a different department who told me they would cancel and they would contact me in 4 business days with confirmation. I heard nothing for a week. I went to my credit card statement to see if they had removed the charge. Instead I found that they had charged me twice for the same purchase. So I have no bed, double charges on my credit card and no refund, and several hours of phone time spent. I disputed the charges with my credit card and the agent I spoke with had similar recent experience with Ashley. read more

I got a bedroom set here about a year ago and since then I have had 4 different mattress that have all been bad. I went in and spend way more money getting a tempra-pedic this last time which is not even the problem. They said they would refund some money for my troubles which they never did and they never dropped off or picked up the old mattresses the days they said they would and I would take off work waiting for them. I have bought bedroom furniture 2 months ago and I have just purchased living room furniture. The first delivery went as planned and was very happy. There was unfortunately a problem with my delivery for my living room furniture. I spoke to a manager and they couldn't get me my same promised delivery date but got it scheduled for the next day. I have purchased several items from this store. I have had two major issues one recently where the child's bedroom set arrived broken and scratched. I knew to refuse the entire delivery per the paperwork you sign otherwise it's very difficult to return. I did give them three attempts before I finally asked for a refund but the key is to refuse it at the door if damaged. Secondly, I have learned to price check everything in store with on line because it can be hundreds dollars difference. My most recent purchase is recliner white leather coaches priced over 5,000 in store with store discount 3700. I priced checked on line got both love seats for 2250 they sale on line was 1250 per coaches saving me hundreds. Lastly, buy online it's so easy and no annoying paperwork you find click buy! read more

Absolutely the worst purchase experience I have ever had in my life. We bought a dining set and when it came, 5 of the 6 chairs were assembled in a shoddy and unacceptable manner - The lower braces were not touching the legs and screws had been driven in a crooked manner trying to provide some strength to the chairs - An absolute mess and NOTHING like what we saw in the showroom. After noticing the problem during delivery and being mis-directed by the warehouse drivers to accept the delivery and have the technician work it out, the nightmare bnegan to unfold. We kept receiving chairs that were improperly assembled. After 1 frustrating visit from the technician, (who stood in my livingroom and basically said that Ashley Furniture sells garbage,) and 3 tries to get replacement chairs form the warehouse, including a final ditch effort to get chairs in the box that I could just assemble myself, no resolution. We bought the set in early September, and have been trying to resolve this ever since. 8 days ago, I was promised a full refund by the store manager Kevin, and have not heard anything else from them regarding picking up the furniture - Called this morning to find out that the refund request was just submitted YESTERDAY and is pending approval from the corporate office. You cannot make this stuff up. My wife and I have been dining like two gypsies, avoiding the use of this garbage furniture sitting in our house waiting to be returned. 8 days, and we don't even have a pickup date scheduled. It's insane. I will be sure to let everyone I come in contact with know that they must at all costs avoid Ashley Furniture. It's depressing. Don't give these fools your business. read more

My boyfriend and I are moving in together and we decided we wanted a new couch. We popped into Ashley HomeStore in Roseville and we started by taking a look around with the intention of just pricing our options in the market. First off, LOVE the furniture in Ashley. Everything is great quality and has a nice variety of styles. Second, really nice location, very clean and orderly. We were assisted by Brian Greenberg, who was amazing and so personable and energetic. He ended up helping us get a 14 piece living room set for only a little over the price of what we wanted for a single couch!! We got a sectional, coffee table, end tables, lamps, rugs, pillows, throw blankets, and living room accessories for a little over what we had in mind for a single sectional (that wasn't even as nice as the one we got!). He helped us all the way through the process and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We love the furniture, received a GREAT price for everything we got and had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I HIGHLY suggest this store and if you can catch Brian Greenberg (hes off Thursday and Fridays), I would definitely do so! Wonderful experience!! read more

Worst customer service ever! Their site has a "contact us" and a "help center" option at the bottom of their web page, neither of which can be found when clicked on. Their in store customer service is absolute trash! When they're trying to get you to buy something, it's great. When there's an issue with a product or service, that's when nobody can understand or help with your issue. I went in trying to buy 3 barstools, I got 4 different prices from 3 different people in a matter of 10 minutes. I'm going back and forth with the rep, so I ask for another rep. The other rep goes into the computer and gives me a different price (more) than the previous rep. I ask to talk to a manager, the manager went into the computer and spit out a different number (more) than the previous 2 reps. When I pointed out the discrepancy, he said, "yeah, that doesn't make sense". When I said jokingly, "Can you look in the system again? I'm sure you'll get a different price!" Sure enough, he did! I said, "this is ridiculous! "He said "sorry, there's nothing I can do". I will never buy from these people again. read more

The furniture is absolutely GORGEOUS! I bought an adjustable bed, a rocker/recliner and matching loveseat and LOVE them! They are the most comfortable pieces of furniture I have ever put my body on! But the best part was their customer service! Very friendly and accommodating (recovering from accident that required me to have brain surgery). I was dreading the process but they were so kind and thoughtful. I bought my furniture during the Memorial Day weekend and saved THOUSANDS! I highly recommend Ashley Furniture! Beautiful, comfortable and up to date furniture. My bed not only has a night light under it, but it also has a USB ports on both sides as do both pieces of my living room furniture. Terrible, terrible customer service!!! After several phone calls (several messages left on vm with no return call) a text 2 our salesman who told us he was off work and to call the store. Online help desk (Kenny) telling us he couldnt help us, to calling the store back a couple more times to be hung up on both times. Filing a complaint with the BBB, only to follow up with them and they tell me they havent heard from them to showing up at the store (after finally fitting it in my schedule) and speaking with the manager, Gee. Gee promising me I would receive a phone call by 12:30 today, still no call. I then call corporate office to get some help, again on hold for 34 min, only option is to leave yet ANOTHER vm. Automated message says will return calls 48-96 hours later, WOW!!! Cant anyone get their heads outta their asses and do their freaking job!!! To think yall want $15/hr, yall aint worth a red cent!!!!!!! So done with this place. Next step, channel 3! read more

Absolutely horrible experience, we couldn't even look at a piece of furniture without the guy that was following us around trying to sell us on it. I understand sales as I am in sales but this was overwhelming and uncomfortable. I also had done a lot of online research and knew what I wanted and the price on their own site. They were quoting me prices that were far higher than their own website. Then when one set we liked was on clearance he tried to talk us out of it. I was done after that I went to Andrews furniture and got the same set... Ashley brand for cheaper than on their website and with amazing customer service! I will not come back to this store due to their sales methods. Do yourself a favor and to to Andrews or 5 Star they were far superior in service and prices! read more

I came in just to check stuff out and found amazing furniture plus Jessie was amazing and didn't make me feel pressure at all!

Tonight I got a call from somebody from your store stating that a transaction had been deleted and that I needed to come into the store and show my bank statement. When I arrived at the location there was 6 to 7 employees standing and talking in the computer area. I stood there for about two minutes before I announced that I was here and had an issue. No one bothered to greet me or make eye contact with me which I found odd because I was just called and asked to come to the store which I would expect that someone be there to greet me. I could not get sales reps to leave me alone when I was there to purchase. I was then referred to Janine who asked me to print out my bank statements which I thought was a complete invasion of privacy. I was extremely upset that a retail store would ask for something personal like a bank statement after I had received a receipt with confirmation of the transaction and clearly showed them my bank statement with the withdrawal. I was clearly upset and Janine walked to the back and would no longer speak to me for about 20 to 25 minutes it was stated that she was on lunch and was the only person I could handle this. So, I asked who the sales manager was and they referred me to Kelley as I walk towards Kelley I said his name multiple times and he ignored me and then when I walked up to him and addressed him in conversation with another employee he stated excuse me I am having a conversation and you just interrupted me he didn't told me that I needed to calm down when I tried explaining the situation he said that my energy was not the same as his no point did he apologize his body language and facial reaction was that he didn't care I got fed up with his attitude and told him that if I was in his position the first thing that I want to say to someone a customer that made a purchase was that I was sorry and that we will find a solution. He said nothing to that so I walked away. I didn't proceeded to call my bank and had the bank teller explain to the person that originally called me asking for my bank statement that the transaction had went through. I also had the lady that initially sold me the mattress there who listened to the bank to teller state that the transaction went through and it was stated to me that basically my option was to provide my bank statement or we were at a standstill. Against my better judgment I have provided my bank statement to Janine I am extremely uncomfortable with the fact that I had to provide it and extremely upset that I would be asked to go to these lengths for your business. This is completely unacceptable and I do expect that someone with authority will reach out to me and insure that others are not hassled with poor customer service and a failing system and be asked to provide personal documents. read more

The managers went over and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase and my furniture came within a week!!! Tina my sales associate was super sweet! I can't wait to buy more from them! read more

Customer service couldnt be worse. On a fresh start for me moved into a place with no furniture. Ordered sofa from Ashley Roseville learned would be on backorder 6 weeks, i wanted that sofa so i agreed. They offered sunday delivery and that was better for me so i didnt have to miss work. Since i live in chico i asked if she was sure they deliver to my area. She answered confidently they absolutely do. All set. I bought an accent chair at a local store so i would have something to sit on while i awaited my sofa for 6 wks. I had added a shelf stand to my order i saw when i was checking out at ashley because the wood matched another table i had and my tv stand. A day before my delivery i got a call they had to reschedule me a week more out because they do not deliver to chico on sundays. They managed to apologize but not with much concern. Got my delivery a weel later but did not open the box my shelf stand was in until that weekend. It was white not wood color sent wrong one! I called the store but when they dont answer it rolls to call center which i now know is always. She opened a case for me and said i would hear from store mgr within 24 hrs. Of course 3 days later still no call. Called again got call center looked up my case and told me the store closed it because their policy is all sales are final unless somethg is wrong AND deliveries are final even if. She just talked over anythg i tried to say loudly reciting the policy over and over. After my 3rd attempt to speak she hung up in my face. I guess shop here if u want this kind of experience. read more

One of the worst purchasing experiences I've ever had. It started off with walking the store for an hour and ultimately having to ask the customer service desk for assistance. The customer service rep didn't know any details about any of the furniture he was selling. He really only cared about closing the deal. After our purchase was completed we were then told the couch we just purchased was back ordered for a couple weeks. At this point not too big of a deal. The salesperson said he would set up two separate deliveries so we could get the majority of our stuff now and wait a couple weeks for the couch. I scheduled the day off for the couch delivery and waited. I didn't get any delivery confirmation phone calls, emails or text messages so I called. I was told the couch went actually available for an additional week and I was set up for pick up. First of all I paid for the delivery and second, the warehouse is a two hour each way drive from me and the store I made the purchase at. So, they agree to deliver. Again I take the day off and wait. This time I get called and get told the delivery truck broke down and they'll have to reschedule once they get the furniture back at the warehouse. I called the customer service number on the website and got told to call the store. I called the store and got stuck on hold for a half an hour to get told there isn't anything they could do and I'd have to wait again another day for the delivery. Awesome customer service. Don't think I'll be buying again from them and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Purchased $2,000 in living room furniture to be delivered 12/6. We're having a Christmas party on 12/16 and I was assured we would have the furniture in time. I received a call and text confirming delivery on 12/4 and again 12/5. I removed all old furniture the night before delivery. On12/6 the day of delivery after they sent me 2 confirmations I receive a call saying my furniture is back ordered until 1/3/19!!!!!!! The person from the warehouse was rude and told me I needed to call the store. I spoke to the manager who at first seemed concerned and I had some hope the issue would be taken care of. Once the manager didn't call me back when he said he would I contacted him. He no longer sounded concerned or apologetic. He said he contacted customer service and was having the person who sold us the furniture handle it. I said I would give him to the end of the day and I would come back to the store in the morning for a refund. The time and stress when I'm already preparing for a party and Christmas is frustrating and the lack of care from Ashley HomeStore is infuriating!!!! I do not recommend shopping at Ashley! read more
