I told my story to the salesman (I think his name was Vim) and how the couch I had before (eight years old) had cushions that were finally collapsing in on itself. So he sold me on the extended warranty called "Montage". After hearing my tale of woe, he said the warranty would cover "anything that goes wrong" including the cushion issue. Lo and behold, 13 months later the cushions are sagging to the point where I call up Montage and explain the situation. Go figure... "We don't cover that, sir. We only cover if the structure actually breaks." Great, so I bought a $500 warranty because I was told it would cover "anything" only to find out the salesman had to close the deal so he would have said "anything". I think it's ridiculous that your delivery crew is sent to our home with furniture that they cannot assemble due to missing hardware. We tell them to take it back and they say no no we'll be back in 2 hours with the missing hardware. That night they come back with the wrong items. We say ok take it back and they're like no no we promise we'll come in the morning to assemble it. Next day no call no show. We call your store and delivery line nobody wants to help and tell us this unassembled furniture is now ours. We refused delivery. We did not sign the paperwork accepting delivery and they told us they would leave the documents until they fix the furniture. We went to the store and they would not refund our money, they would not arrange a pickup and told us it would be at least two weeks before someone would even contact us about picking this furniture up. Now they're claiming it's un-hygenic to take the furniture. The delivery people did not want to take it back. I want this furniture out of my house. I want the rest of my order cancelled and I want our money refunded now. This has been almost 18 weeks of nightmare dealing with your company. If we have to pursue legal action to get our money back and this furniture removed we will. This has been the worst experience and is only the tip of the iceberg of problems we've had. The worst experience ever! I wish I had looked up the Yelp reviews before shopping here. We just moved here and we didn't have any furniture. We came to this store on 7/29, so excited about getting new furniture for our home. The salesperson, Myra Alawar was great at helping us pick out our sofa, dining table, and bedroom set. I made it known to her that we didn't have any furniture and we didn't want to wait for it, I asked her to make sure the items were available. She checked every and said all except ONE item was, "available". I asked her when we could get our furniture, she said, "Monday". Everything else was available. We go to sign papers and find out delivery would be over 400 dollars! I asked her if we could pick it up ourselves. She said we could but if anything was damaged when we got it home they would not be responsible. Ok, so we have no choice. We paid cash for everything. The weekend came and we still had no phone call. Myra had given us her email address and said she responds to her emails right away. So we email her, no response. She responds with, I've been on vacation but says we can call customer service. What happened to Monday?? After several emails and phone calls we were told we would get all our furniture on 9/17. They showed up with only our sofa. No dining table or bedroom set. Long, long story short, it's been 5 weeks and we STILL don't have our order! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!! They just lie through their teeth! Update: They said they couldn't confirm when we would get our furniture. They showed our bedroom set was unavailable until December and even then, no guarantee. We requested a full refund for our bedroom set and dining set. They finally refunded our money. It was a total waste of time and unnecessary stress. The last time I reviewed Ashley regarding my purchase, they replied with an email and phone number for assistance. At that point my bed was delivered 3 weeks later, broken! The backup was scheduled and never showed. The response I got for the "manager" was your best is now unavailable until August. It's now august so I follow up, because they won't call you. Your order will not be available until October! WTF. Did everybody in America order this bed? Did the company close? I had the most horrible experience at Ashley (Pat Booker Rd, San Antonio). Their salesperson, David Hernandez made a mistake in my order. Delivered the wrong product & it took them 4 months to deliver the right item. And they don't want to honor the discount of the same product at the time I purchased it. Giving me the run around that I should have taken the floor model. But they also said they don't deliver the floor model. The managers didn't do anything to correct it. It is a pity that we cannot give a zero or negative rating. After spending well over $5000 6 weeks ago and setting up delivery at the same time (again 6 months ago) to receive notice that they cannot deliver on time is unacceptable. So now I have to reschedule appointments that I made over a month ago, if not I cannot receive the furniture I purchased over a month ago. This is just not an acceptable practice for any business. It would be one thing if they even made their own furniture but they don't. I wish I would have read reviews before even walking into the store. So from now on I will dissuade anyone from going to Ashley and I for one will never go to their store again. I am extremely dissapointed with the customer service I have received since AFTER my purchase. I was promised a delivery date of end of March. Had I not already followed up twice with this store, I would have been waiting on two occassions for a no show. If I would not like the product I bought as much as I do I would cancel this order just because of how poorly this experience has been. I called to speak with a Manager at the Pat Booker location in San Antonio yesterday and a person (I say person for a reason) named Hailey was on the phone. She said there is no Supervisor on site and that she was a floor manager that I could continue to speak to. The quality of professionalism was absolutely questionable. When I asked her for her name she said Hailey and that she refuses to provide me her last name and that I don't need it. I did let her know that I didn't appreciate how she handled my call or my concerns and that I will be writing a review as well as reaching out to cooperate. She was very rude and I then asked for the number for her Supervisor or your corporate office. She gave me your 1800 customer service hotline. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service! I am due a $600 refund. This has been going on for the past several weeks, and it has yet to be resolved. My experience with Ashley Store at 7919 Pat Booker Road, San Antonio, Texas has been extremely stressful. My wife and I ordered a couple of bedroom sets and a living room set; the total cost was about $6,000. The Sales Representative, Jose, told us that delivery will be made on 10 November. We needed the furniture before 1 December because I have official government orders assigning me to Korea. Jose told us that we needed to leave a 10% down payment, and we can cancel at anytime without penalty. Ok, we did that. We waited patiently to hear from Ashley. On 9 November, I telephoned Ashley Delivery to discuss the status of our order. I was put of hold for over 45 minutes. Finally, a representative got on the line and rudely told us that delivery will be on 17 December. She disdainfully suggested that if we needed the furniture sooner, then we should get a truck and physically go to the warehouse to retrieve it. What nonsense! Suffice it to say, my wife and I were furious. We returned to the store at Pat Booker Road and "canceled" the order. The Manager told us that we were obligated to pay a cancelation fee of $658 because the furniture was at the warehouse. That made absolutely no sense! If the furniture was at the warehouse, then why did we have to wait to 17 December to receive the order? As luck would have it, we were able to get a delivery on 10 November. With that, we re-entered the items and returned home. However, due to the cancelation and re-ordering, Ashley owes us $600 for the down payment that we had made when we initially purchased the furniture in October. On 10 November, on / about 5:00 PM, we received part of the order. Unfortunately, one of the head boards and the dresser were damaged. The Sofa and Love Seat were not available with this order. We returned to Ashley on 11 November to discuss furniture delivery for the head board, dresser, sofa and love seat. We scheduled the delivery for Monday, 16 November. Subsequently, a representative from the delivery team told us that we will receive all the pieces ( headboard, dresser, sofa, and love seat) on 19 November. On 19 November, Ashley delivered a head board and dresser. The sofa and the love seat were not on the truck. And, to top it off, the head board was damaged - yet again. Once again, we go to Ashley at Pat Booker Road. The Manager had us work with another representative, Mike. We asked Mike about the $600 refund, which, at the time of this message, we have yet to receive. According to Mike, he called in a "favor," and we received the head board, sofa, and love seat on 25 November. The head board was filthy; it was neither covered nor protected. And, the head board was "scratched." However, since 1 December was only a week away, we accepted the head board. At this point, the $600 refund remains unresolved. The Manager told us that he sent messages to Ashley corporate to process a refund for us. We were told that Ashley corporate would send us a check; that did not happen. We were told that Ashley corporate would credit our charge card; that, too, has not happened. Essentially, we have been given the "run around" for the last couple of weeks. I contacted Ashley today, 28 November, and chatted with "Dominque." Dominque told me - through chat - that she instructed the store at Pat Booker Road, San Antonio, Texas to process a refund for me. Dominque told me that it would take 7 - 10 days to process the refund. I told "Dominque" that we've been working with the manager at the Ashley store at Pat Booker Road for the last several weeks, and we have yet to resolve this issue. "Dominque" told me that she could not expedite the refund. This has been a horrible experience. My wife even got sick due to nerves while we were dealing with Ashley furniture. Granted, Ashley has good deals. But, trust me on this, those deals aren't worth the aggravation. Ashley at Pat Booker Road is located within a military community. Apparently, that store doesn't care about repeat business. It is all about the commission. The store figures that a new group of "suckers" will come to the community. Will never shop here again! They have missed deliveries.. managers I've dealt with are rude. They've tried to deliver damaged items. It's been 5 months. I ordered the same desk and bookshelf off Wayfair for the same price maybe a little less. Got here in 4 days . The box has their name on it!! What a slap in the face to get this in days what Ashley has taken months to deliver . While at the store out sales person Q was awesome after she made her commission she disappeared. No response so follow up. . She's good!! She said what she had to say to make a 12k sale off us . You've been warned. If I were to do this whole shopping experience again, I definitely would. Since moving into my new home on 6/27 I've been looking for a new dresser and found one that I liked on Ashley's website. I went in and told the salesperson exactly what I was looking for on 7/1. She showed me a couple different pieces that were completely out of my price range. We finally found the one that I had seen online but it was a different color. While taking my information for delivery, my mom and I had to leave quickly because of a family emergency and I didn't know until later that I got charged for a $119 protection plan that I didn't get asked about or talked to about. I did get that refunded and it went back in 7/10. About a week later I got a text message for delivery for this current week 7/8-12 and I chose 7/11. And of course when this delivery was getting close I kept getting messages for scheduling a different day. It's now my supposed delivery day and I call the store and they said that it's actually not being delivered today but from 2 weeks from now. The worst service i have ever received in my life. I just bought a new home and we wereq buying furniture for the home. We have never received a item of furniture complete without have to wait 3 to 6 months for it, i would receive part of a bed or just the head bord or just a base of the beds. December i ordered a dining room table February. they dropped it off and left it not in any boxes just wrapped in delivery blanket (someone elses second hand unwanted returned dining room table) when i tried putting it together it was missing feet of the dining room table. I called to let them know i was told the would deliver the feet. March came no feet i called was told it was 3 week April came i lost it told them to replace the full dining room table with a new one because they were charging me for a new dining room table and its now April and i still have no working table. May now and im told that it cloud possibly be only July i told the to just forget the replacement to pick up their second hand junk the gave me ill get a dining room table somewhere else. Now they trying to tell me that i can not return the item, even though I have never had a complete dining room table delivered. Im told now that i have to wait for Ashleys to make a decision on whether they will pick up and refund my Ashleys credit card. In November of 2020, my husband and I placed an order for two sofas, a coffee table, and two end tables for our living room. We waited until February to receive our furniture. Both sofas and one of the end tables arrived broken, so we scheduled replacements to be delivered. We waited until March for the replacements. Those replacements were also broken, so we scheduled yet another replacement order. We waited until April, and for a *third* time, the replacements were broken. Out of frustration, we went back into the store and chose two different sofas. We set up an exchange. We were told that the new, different sofas would be available for delivery at the end of May. It is now the end of May. I just called customer service to find out where the sofas are. The representative told me that our sofas won't be in until July. To summarize, 6 different sofas and 3 different end tables arrived damaged. We placed our initial order in November 2020 and are now being told that we won't have furniture that is intact until July 2021. We have purchased from Ashley many times over the years. Zero stars. If you want to spend decent money on a bed frame where the screws strip out in the first month, and then wait 4 months for new parts, look no further. No offer to do anything else for an item under warranty. So for the next few months I have to decide whether to use the bed and probably cause more damage that will result in waiting longer for repairs, or go buy a new bed. This bed is in stock, I could buy a new one and have the problem fixed faster. Gave Ashley's a 2nd shot after buying and expensive and poorly made table, so this will be the last. First time-because the items "were damaged in shipment", second time-"manufacturer issues"...would not recommend Ashley to anyone. Update: 9/10/2019 Thought I'd give the company a second chance. Since they never answered any of my calls or even returned calls and email, the living room furniture ended up being delivered on Saturday. The delivery driver unpacked and every piece was damaged. I called the store for return and was told that I could not get a refund but they could "fix" the damage. Damage included tears around the corners, broken seams, unraveling under the sofa (base and the seams). I want to start this by saying I have bought multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley over the years, as have my mother & grandmother. My husband and I just finished building our custom home and wanted to get some recliners and a couch to match the couch we already have. The buying process was smooth and easy, they had NO PROBLEMS taking our money. We paid cash for the furniture and decided on pick up because of the horror stories we've heard from other friends & customer reviews, but also because both my husband and I work shift work & have very odd schedules. They told us we were guaranteed to pick it up on Monday, October 12th from the warehouse. Mayra told us it was guaranteed, there were no issues with pickup, and that it would be ready October 12. We were told we could pick up our furniture today from the warehouse. We tried calling the warehouse before we drove the 22 miles (one way) to pick it up, no answer. I tried calling Ashley furniture, no answer. Finally got in touch with Mayra at the store we bought from who told me she scheduled it for tomorrow, even after we had discussed IN LENGTH the day that it was due for pick up. She then decided to cop an attitude and say "well we don't guarantee anything so I couldn't have given you a for sure pick up date. Oh and the warehouse is closed today" Her attitude, the fact that she straight up LIED to us to make a sale, and the "inability to confirm pick up" dates by Ashley has made my husband and I decide we will NOT purchase anything else from Ashley. We still have quite a bit to buy but we will go somewhere else. How is it that places like mattress firm & other furniture stores can guarantee delivery but Ashley can't?!? Just moved to San Antonio. We ordered dining room furniture and living room furniture for our new home. The dining room came when promised. It has been 19 weeks and the living room set has been delayed a 4th time till mid April. We requested a refund. The credit to our credit card was $300 less then we paid . Store staff's only response was that was what the computer showed. We have been to the store many times over the past few months. Always a different "manager". Today we were told the manager is on vacation. Having worked in large and small retail businesses I know there is always someone in charge to resolve customers issues. ***THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON ME*** So let me share my Ashley Furniture experience. On August 12, 2020, I purchased a living room and dining room set. I was so excited, I texted my sales rep asking about additional pieces. I went into the store that weekend and purchased more items. My sales rep, Jose, was to call me on Monday to let me know when my items would be delivered. He didn't and I patiently waited a week. The following Monday, I texted him requesting a status and received no response. A few days later, I called the store number and pressed 2 for a status of my order. The call was forwarded to another state and I was told she would send an email to Jose and the store manager requesting someone call me. No call was received... On Friday, August 28, I called the store and pressed 3 to be directed to the store. I asked for a manager and was told they were all unavailable... The man I spoke to told me he would "hand deliver" messages to both Jose and the manager so someone would call me. I explained I just wanted to know when I could expect delivery and had already left several messages with no response. I also explained that I was becoming frustrated and was considering cancelling my order. I received NO call, text, email or any other form of communication... I waited 26 hours and then drove to the store. I spoke with a manager, also named Jose, and cancelled my order. He explained the "only way to process" the cancellation was to include a 10% cancellation fee. I explained I was not cancelling because I wanted to but because I'd lost faith in Ashley Furniture. I asked to talk to someone else and he told me there was no one else... I let him process the cancellation feeling very disappointed in the service I was receiving and sad that I wouldn't have the pretty furniture that I really wanted... Afterwards I walked around the store telling my experience to other potential customers. A female manager (I'm assuming she was management) asked me to stop and I refused as I felt I had a duty to share my experience so I continued on. The female manager asked me to leave and I again refused moving from group of customers to another group. She walked away and after I was satisfied with the facts I had shared, I left the store and walked my 83 year old father to the car. I turned in the air conditioning, approached another 3-4 groups in the parking lot and then got in the car to leave. AND THEN A POLICE CAR PULLED UP!!! I waved to the officer saying "I think you are here for me." He asked if I was leaving and I said yes. They actually called the police wanting to file criminal trespass charges on me!! I wish I had looked up reviews before going here to purchase furniture. I bought two sofas, three side tables and a TV table. It is ten months later and I haven't received any tables yet. It took four months to get the sofas, and then one was delivered damaged. The delivery guys called someone that day and I was promised a call within 24 hours. I called a week later and they said they had no record of a damage report and I had to go directly to the store to try to address it. The online customer service is the worst. I would receive a call that an item had arrived, then they would say they had to call back to schedule and there would be no record of items arriving. I took a couple of vacation days in September to come into town and purchase a bedroom set (Bed, dresser, and two night stands) prior to us moving which we did. We were told on September 14th "it would take 8-10 weeks to be delivered to my home" I was ok with that because we weren't moving into our home until September 20th, so we would just have to tough it out a few more weeks. I called the store November 12th to check the status of the bedroom set because it's been 10 weeks. The response I given was " your furniture is starting to be built and we may be able to get your night stands out to you in two weeks." I am then told I may receive my bedroom set by the end of November. We decide we've waited this long whats two more weeks? Today (December 4th) we go into to the store to check the status and speak to a supervisor. I am told "yeah our supplies are all delayed you should get your set by the end of February or the beginning of March" I've spent more than $2,500 at this store in September and here we are in December and I haven't received anything. Your store wasted no time charging my card but you think it's ok for me to wait five months to receive what I paid for...HOW!!??? I understand the approximately 8-10 week window, so I told myself 8-12 weeks but five months is unacceptable! Your store doesn't even call and update customers about "delays" you just leave them waiting for nothing. Side note I have a pregnant wife due in February and a 7yr old. We joked in October maybe my daughter would be here before our bedroom set. Long and behold my wife would definitely give birth before I would've received a bedroom set. If I could leave ZERO stars I would! First, we had the WORST sales person I've ever met! He kept walking away so when we had questions we had to keep waiting for him to come back! Then we had to wait over 6 weeks for our order. finally, on the day it was to be delivered we were told our delivery window was 2:15 pm - 5:15 pm. At 4:55 pm, after not hearing anything, I tried calling the number on the delivery confirmation and was kept on hold for 46 minutes and I finally hung up infuriated. I went on the website and utilized the chat feature only to find out that the delivery window had been changed to 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. The person on the chat didn't seem to give a damn. Why bother giving the delivery window information if they have no intention of keeping it? I took off work to be there during the time I was given!!!! read more

My wife purchased a brown coffee table. Two GREY cheap tables were delivered. We were told they do not accept returns. We said it is not a return because this is not what was ordered. We have spoken with customer service and the store manager several times. Thieves. Do not shop here. There are better options available. *** beware *** don't not believe what they tell you about estimated delivery dates. they have no idea when they're getting furniture. 6 to 8 weeks is reasonable expectations. then they will update status and add 13 to 15 weeks beware 6 months maybe to get furniture. do not take partial delivery of your furniture... you cant cancel with partial delivery all ready made. if you call store they never answer , customer service is rude, manager doesnt return calls. if they would have just been honest from the beginning, but they just want the sales !! gladly paying 10% for canceling order. read more

NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK to fix anything - its ALL THIRD PARTY companies - delivery, assembly, warranty, financing, and customer service from india (or overseas somewhere). $2,600 on table and 6 chairs and three of the chairs have legs that are different lengths on the same chair - about 1 1/2" different lengths. If I could give this store less than one star I would. It wasn't their selection that I had the issue with. My issues was with the customer service. I ordered my furniture with Michael C. on 3 jul 20. He assured me I could get my furniture delivered by 3 aug 20 if he put the order in ASAP. After I contacted the delivery department two weeks later they said they couldn't deliver until mid-September at best. I came in to the store and they said I would lose 10% of my purchase because "that's policy". Seems like complete bull to me if you can't get someone their stuff on time. After putting in 2 requests to get my order cancelled they still haven't cancelled it. It's been two weeks since my initial cancellation request. Their phones are off so the only way to get anything done is to drive all the way to their store just for them to give you a "whoopsie daisy" answer. read more

I hate to leave a terrible review, but I am happy to share the details of my experience to caution others who are shopping for furniture. We bought a couch from Ashley (Pat Booker) and had it delivered January of 2020. This past December of 2022, one of the sectional pieces started to badly sag. On December 21st I had a very informative text message conversation with a customer service rep. She informed me the piece we needed was covered under warranty, she would order it, and I should go back to the location I purchased the couch to pay for the labor. Since we no longer live in San Antonio, it was quite the drive to go back to the Pat Booker location and frustrating to learn from a rep there that since they didn't have a direct amount to charge me, I wasn't able to pay- so a waste of a drive. She informed me, she would contact someone and email me in 24 hours with the quote. I never received anything. I then had to call and was bounced back and forth between the home store and the repair services. It was crazy to me how much effort I was having to put in to pay for this service to make sure my couch could get fixed. Someone finally answered the phone and told me that it was all covered under warranty and to set up the repair appointment. By the time the appointment was scheduled, it was a month out- January 20th. The repair technician came and informed us it was the wrong part. He said he would order the correct part and to the reschedule the service once it arrived. Finally got it, had to wait a month to the repair appointment (March 3) to find out for the second time, it was another wrong part they sent us. Our couch now sags even worse at this point and looks like it's about to completely crater. The same repair technician said he would order the correct part and included two couch cushions (this is the only time I feel like someone from Ashley was trying to make the situation right by ordering the two cushions) and of course then schedule the repair appointment. On March 20th I realized how our new part still hadn't arrived. I called and continued to of course get bounced back and forth between the home store and repair center. To then find out that the order was never placed. I was then told that the part wasn't covered and I would have to pay for it. It wasn't clear if they just never put the order in, or decided I needed to pay for it first now and never even inform me of that. We have never been told to pay for a part yet in this process, if anything it was the labor in which I did try and pay in person and over the phone multiple times. I was so confused and when I asked to speak to a manager regarding the payment, the customer person informed me that, "they would tell me the same thing." I was still confused and frustrated, I went to the store location in New Braunfels, thinking they would understand.. After explaining this to reps at the NB location in person, I was so surprised and truly disappointed after explaining this process that started in December, there was no apology and still informed that the piece cost $37.50+ tax. I have made two trips to different Ashley locations in person, stayed home from work two days to receive incorrect parts, spent so much time on the phone with various customer service reps, to find out I owe $37.50+tax after all of this. There was no desire from customer service on the phone or at the store front to make this situation right or a clear explanation as to why I have been told so many different things since December. I paid for the part, I scheduled the delivery and of course today, get a notification that it was 'delivered' with a picture of the side of our house and no delivery part in sight. Awful experience here.. came in with cash to buy a sectional. Showed up, was told I would have the couch the following week-that my sales guy would call me within the next few days to set up a time frame on the day promised to deliver the couch. Delivery day comes and goes, no word from sales guy, made 4 phone calls over the course of the next 2 weeks, had to leave messages for both sales guy, and managers-no call back, and no couch. Finally 2 weeks after the couch was to be delivered, so now a month out since I was in the store-I get a phone call from the sales guy saying only part of the couch is in stock. That they can deliver literally 1/2 the couch, but they have no idea when the other 1/2 of the couch will be in. Salesmen said I had the option of having them deliver the couch basically with the opposite set up I wanted, but when the piece I actually ordered came in, I would have to pay a pick up fee for the wrong piece. My husband and I had just moved into a new house and were supposed to be entertaining family that weekend. I ended up with no couch, and my money tied up in accounting for another 3 weeks. To make matters worse when I went into the store, the salesmen thought it would be cool to comment on my tattoos, while running his hand down my arm, all while telling me my body looked good for having 2 kids. Gross. In the end I finally got my money back, and I wouldn't buy something again from this store if even if all went on sell for 50 cents. Buyers especially women, BEWARE Oh & just a sidenote.. don't buy their shit in the reply comments to negative reviews about how they've tried to be in contact with the customers with no response. You can't even get ahold of them when YOU call THEM directly. I also would like to add, after getting the worst customer service I've ever received for a month, I called corporate and the woman I spoke with there was pleasant, helpful, and was the one who truly ended up handling the situation, and getting my money back. Bought some couches years back the material completely fell apart so bad that I'm throwing them out now . My other couches that I bought around same time are perfect. This Dura Bled is crap . I've read all the reviews and complaints on it , they all have the same problems with the material . Some have even got store credit. Spoke with sales rep rose who was really nice on giving me as much info as she could ,she recommended me call customer care . Customer care could not help me because it had been past the 5 year warranty . Stay away from Dura blen , I'm throwing mine out . Now to get some new ones . Somewhere else. read more
