They delivered the wrong dining room table color over 3 times. In store, the table they displayed was a tan and the one they kept delivering was chocolate and they had the nerve to say what we display and what you receive can be different and you just have to deal with what they give you..... Really? Poor customer service and poor choice of words to say I have to deal with the color. In addition I bought a sofa and it had wood trim and they scratched all the wood at the bottom and tried to correct it with furniture marker that was black when the wood trimming was brown. They delivered me one today and it was cracked again!!!! Not only the people in store but the ashley's call center and HR department are so unprofessional and uncaring. Our sales consultant Chris was absolutely fantastic, outside of him it's been a miserable experience. We bought close to $5,000 worth of furniture. We were told delivery dates for everything, our couch ended up being 3 weeks late. My daughters dresser was late as well, and came damaged. I reached out to the call center where they were very rude and i was told "there's nothing they can do". I began reaching out to the store about it on January 4th, 3 different managers have told me tickets were put in and that they would personally reach out to me or my wife once they get a reply, every time I've called back a week later to be told the ticket was closed and that i need to use my warranty, which is unacceptable considering it was delivered damaged. The last time i finally went into the store, the manager said she was putting a ticket in to have the part shipped to my house and she'd call me within 3 hours to let me know if it had been approved. I haven't heard anything in 2 days. This is unacceptable. I have been offered no solutions or monetary discounts for my issues. It's been nothing but a run around. I've always shopped with Ashley, but unless something changes fast with this experience, it will be the end for me shopping with them. read more

Bought what I though was a leather (turned out to be a fake leather, this part my fault for not reading fine print) from this store about 7 yrs ago. I remember the salesman really pushing the extended warranty which I ended up buying. I contacted customer service today to find out that I an past my 5 yrs coverage time frame and will have a store credit.. which is great right??? Except , I can only use that in store and cannot be used towards the replacement of two cushion covers that have the "leather" starting to just flake off.. so, even though I will have to pay full price for the cushion and/or covers to be replaced as well as shipping for said product I will also have to pay $30, plus $59 and additional $89 to have a tech come out and verify that only the cushion needs replacing. I tried to get clarification on this more than once regarding why if my purchase is no longer under warranty and I just want to replace failed product and pay shipping why I would have to pay unknown about (could be more depending on how long tech is here) of warranty is no longer valid. I guess that I will be looking to buy new living room furniture, but will definitely not be buying from here! PS, I hardly ever use this couch, not in direct sunlight. Less than 1 star if possible...purchased 2 recliners so that husband and I could have matching chairs. Less than 6 months and mine broke. Store accused me of intentionally damaging my chair. This is the worst by far experience I've ever had buying any furniture. The sales man Chris was amazing. I'd personally recommend him to a different sales job although. We purchased a complete bed frame and mattress. They had a delay in the shipping originally. When the bed came it was incomplete. The guys ordered the parts confirmed it and failed to mention that they knocked over a item from our family for years. The parts came and are not the full parts we need to complete the bed. Now having to wait another couple weeks for parts. The only solutions they had was a 10% return of our money. Oh and a loaner frame that might come at the same time as the bed parts. Those are not a solution to any of this. I recommend never purchasing from here ever. Update: The manger we were dealing with was fired for many complaints. Happy for that and the new manger we are dealing with is helping and reordered the parts again since the last still didn't order the right parts. I ordered furniture from this store and scheduled my delivery. The Wednesday before my delivery I was told everything was ready to ship by my sales rep. Day of delivery I was informed that part of my order was set for pick up. I wasn't happy but at least the pick up place was only a couple miles from my house. The delivery guys arrive and they are missing another part of my order. I was told that it was set for delivery two weeks later. I called customer support and they offered me two bed side tables to make up for all the issues. I was told the ticket was created but the store manager has to approve it. Now I can't get ahold of the store manager to approve the order. My sales rep keeps telling me it shouldn't be a problem, I'll look into it. It has now been two weeks and I have not gotten a answer. Back in 2020 I ordered a panel bed and it took a month or so to get it. I understood that we were in a pandemic so I patiently waiting. They said 2 week, but then kept pushing it back. So this time I was hesitant on going back, however I went into Ashley's (pat booker) on 28 Oct 23 looking for a recliner. I found exactly what I wanted. The sales guy (Sergio) was very helpful. He looked it up and said it would be delivered in 2 weeks on 10 Nov 23, which I thought, hmmm geez, here we go again. I went against my gut and ordered it anyway. It was in Mississippi and needed to be shipped to New Braunfels and I would get it in 2 weeks. Here we are 7 Nov, 3 days before Im supposed to get it and they say oh it's on back order till the 17th. I'm so disappointed in going against my gut. We are not in a pandemic right now and it's the same crap. I canceled the order and will take a chance somewhere else. I hate this store now. PLEASE STAY AWAY! My husband and I purchased our 3 year olds first big boy bed from this store a month ago. It has been a nightmare. I will spare all the details other than after 4 attempts at delivering the correct bed, one was finally assembled and a minute after the delivery guys left, a chunk of the bed broke off. I was furious. There was also a defect in the ladder that took 2 more repair appts to fix. So yes- i had a total of 6 repair men at my house the last 2 months! However the most frustrating part by far of this 3 week fiasco was the inability to get ANYONE at the local Live Oak location to answer the phone or return a message. The customer service of this entire company is pitiful. I have made over 50 calls the last 3 weeks to the customer service and or local store- some productive, most not. If I could rate the Ashley Furniture Live Oak store ZERO stars I would! I purchased a sectional for my daughters and I from one of the managers Chris Espinosa who told me he could get our sectional delivered to us TODAY August 31st, and prior to paying out of pocket in full for the sectional, I asked Chris repeatedly if we would definitely get our sectional by August 31st because I didn't want to pay cash for an item that wasn't even in stock, and he assured me I would get my sectional by today. However, when I called Ashley two days ago to check the status of my delivery since I hadn't heard from anyone, I was told my sectional is OUT OF STOCK, and wasn't even going to be in stock until OCTOBER 9th. We have nothing right now, nothing, because we lost everything we owned and are having to start all over. I am a retired disabled veteran, and one of my four daughters has scoliosis. We desperately needed this sectional, and it was sold to us under false pretenses. For this reason, and for continuously being jerked around by Ashley employees and managers, in addition to nobody from their store having the decency to return a phone call or process a refund like Iris from the Live Oak store told me she was going to do 7 hours ago, but never did, I am strongly advising every person who reads this post to NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. This company is selling furniture to people, and promising delivery dates when items aren't even in stock for months. read more

I have to wonder when the stress of this entire transaction will ever end . It has been a full month since this nightmare began. The store is asking for proof of address in spite of having already delivered our furniture. They stated that if we do not give it to them that they will have to come pick it up ..... yet they need proof of where we live . . . The one finance company has NO record of us in their system and thus we were unable to make a payment. In addition, we were told we had to make the payment in person and the location is way out of the way for us . We have yet to receive our $200 credit back since Ashley corporate apparently gave it to Acceptance NOW who refuses to deduct it until AFTER we are paid in full.. Acceptance NOW (RAC) which is located IN the Ashley Homestore and is contracted with Ashley should be considered a SCAM. they rate up there with loan sharks ! 90 days same as cash is NOT 90 days same as cash when they charge a 12% fee regardless. They also refuse to accept anything above the minimum payment. Unless you can pay the full amount all at once. Essentially these are tactics to make it difficult to pay before the 90 days is up and thus leading you to pay more interest. As a matter of fact if we paid the interest over the term, we would pay a full 3x the purchase price of the furniture. This ought to be illegal . I am sure the attorney general's office will find it interesting to know the ways which this company skirts the edges of the law to Rip off hard working people . I intend to file a formal complaint and draw as much attention as possible to the unscrupulous business practices that go on here. I encourage anyone else who has had a similar experience to do the same. read more

I purchased a new love seat back in april from ashley to be delivered in july. I understand the delays in shipping and production due to all the covid issues so ok I get it. !st love seat delivered late and only after I had called to find out why I had not been called to schedule a delivery. Ok Again I get it, but still very poor service. Delivery was made at the last 1/2 hour of my eindow time mind you, and the guys bring it in and leave. A couple days later we notice that the loveseat is slanted and that one side of the couch sags in the seat and the cover does not close straight on the top. We have to go in and try to get our money back, but are offered and exchange in about 2 weeks. I deceided ok that is fine lets do this. Schedule the delivery, and my wife stays home all day to receive said couch and no show. Call to find out what had happend, they stated that no one was home when delivery was attempted. What? My wife and adult son were both home all day. Call to get a new schedule for a folowing week after our vacation and all is good. The week we are out of city they called over 30 times on my phone and more on my wifes phone to deliver on a different date stating that if we are not there we forfeit our delivery... What? I get called the following week and am told we are sorry we are trying to get you scheduled for the 28 of aug, what We were schedule for the 21 after all this other stuff happend, after complaining about that borerline harrasment on prior delivery she stated Oh yea we can do that. I am so displeased about the treatment. the only thing that went well about this...... is I will Never return and will be spreading this review over every platform I can. read more

Stay away from a sales rep named Nikki (male). We qualified for a high credit limit. Once he knew that he was very friendly. We were going to buy a furniture piece but changed our mind. He already put the sale through without our consent. We told him we did not want the piece and he told us the sale was final. We told him we did not sign anything and at this point his entire demeanor changed. He was extremely rude and didn't want to deal with us. Clearly he was only thinking of his commission and not about what we, the customer, wanted. We did let the manager know, and he was very polite. My order has been postponed three times and each time I was never even warned or given a heads up. I had to call each and every time to verify any information and news about my delivery. I was supposed to get a delivery tonight and not only is my furniture not here. I never even got a call confirming or letting me know of any issues. We came in to purchase a new couch. The sales staff was very helpful and certainly willing to take our money. We were told that it would take 30 days for our couch to be delivered and we were fine with that. What we are NOT fine with is the delivery being rescheduled twice and Ashley's poor customer service. We have called numerous times and are automatically put on hold for 15 minutes or more just to be disconnected before being connected to someone. Since we couldn't speak to someone on the phone, we went to the store and spoke to someone about the delivery who seemed very indifferent about the poor customer service and was told she would post a message in their system and someone would call us in 3 hours only to be ignored again! We would NOT recommend this experience to anyone and will not be purchasing from here again. Update to original review- We went to the store and spoke to someone who explained the situation with their factory during this pandemic. Now we have to wait another 6 weeks for our furniture! We have been customer of Ashley Furniture for sometime & had been "mostly" pleased with their products . We purchase items from higher end stores as well, but for the price point that Ashley is selling the items at, the furniture seems to be pretty good quality....until this absolutely terrible issues that we have ran into now & their inability to warranty the product that they are selling & say that they WILL WARRANTY! Basically one of our sofas - that are very large & are matching are located in our family room & has broken 2 times when a LADY sat down in the middle section of it during a gathering that we were having! HOW EMBARRASSING FOR HER & US!!! While trying to have the sofa repaired, we have had numerous run-around issues, I.e., rescheduling, company repair issues & customer service reps not even logging my calls in their system when I called had in!!! I even called back in to check on a call back & found that they had not documented in their system that I had called in! I then requested to speak with a manager. The CS rep escalated the call to Bridget - I believe she was one of their "pretend/fill-in managers on duty". She has NEVER FOLLOWED BACK UP with me to this date as well!!! We had one person that was actually very helpful & her name was Marlina. At this point we are absolutely DONE WITH THIS COMPANY!!! We will be contacting our attorney - buyers DO have rights....maybe this company will wake up some day. I should also contact the family that owns this company - I'm sure they love to hear how their name is being smeared in the mud after all that they have built! People do read these reviews & I would not waist my time putting all this information in here if I didn't think it was important to pass onto other buyers. My husband and I went to this store yesterday and James who works there ruined our experience right away. We told him we are about to close on a brand new house and needed some furniture. He asked if we were both on the home note, while looking at my heavily tattooed husband. James was told this was not an appropriate question and he even said we were probably right! Whatever his intention was by asking this was rude and judgemental! I even brought it up to a female associate who approached us and received a half-hearted apology. We turned around and left. I left a glowing review on 9/14/2020, after spending nearly $3000 on a new Hillcott bedroom set. It is now 12/16/2020, and I still do not have the door chest I ordered. After stringing us along for months, constantly pushing out the date for delivery, the most recent delivery update is for MARCH 2021! Calls to the store go unanswered, the salesperson, Mikell, never returned a message left by text, so we are left with getting updates from the delivery warehouse which we have to make multiple calls to get! We were told they could not give us the showroom model, as this would prevent future sales. Sales of an item that we have already waited THREE MONTHS to get, and are expected to wait another three months if we have the hope of ever completing our bedroom set. There is absolutely NO service after the sale, and if we had known we'd be waiting this long, we never would have wasted our time with Ashley Furniture. This is the most unacceptable experience I have ever had with a major purchase. My family will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. read more

I purchased a couch from Ashley HomeStore, paid over $3,000.00 for it and when it was delivered I found out it had plastic legs. Very poorly manufactured. I called the store and the representatives reaction was "Well didn't you look at it before you bought it" I told her I didn't get on my hands and feet to inspect it. Decent furniture come with wood legs. Also when it was delivered the dust cover under it was torn. I was told by the delivery man that he would let them know and they would contact me to replace it.
