I wish I had read everyones review before I purchased anything from Ashley on Carl Silver Parkway, Fredericksburg. My husband and I were helped by salesman Mike. We were buying a Sofa and Love seat, coffee and end tables and a nightstand. We specifically said from the beginning that we needed the Sofa and love seat delivered by a certain date which we were assured that would be no problem. We agreed that we would PICK UP the other items since they would be in at a later date. The day before the sofa and love seat were guaranteed to be delivered I had not heard anything. I called customer care and they said oh no they dont have you scheduled. They are waiting until all items are in. I said please read the instructions from the salesman. I HAVE to have the sofa and love seat delivered tomorrow as promised. She made the arrangements for delivery the next day. Had I not called I would have had a house full of company with no furniture. She also had said that when the other items came in they would call me. So now that leaves the night stand and coffee and end tables. I waited and waited and finally called several days after the expected date. She said the night stand was in but the tables had to be reordered because they didnt pass inspection when they came in. I called our salesman to confirm this is what really happened and he assured me he would call me right back as he knew nothing of the delays etc. Mike our salesman NEVER called back. I went and picked up the nightstand. Again she said we will call when the tables come in. EVERY time I had to call or I would have never received my merchandise. I called about the tables and they were in. I said I would be at the distribution center in an hour to pick up. She said no problem you can pick it up anytime until 6:00pm. When I arrived 4 1/2 hrs later the distribution center said that Ashley Store was supposed to let them know I was coming and that they had to assemble it. I waited over an hour with the person I had to get to help pick it up. Finally one month later I have all my merchandise ONLY because I called THEM to find out the status. What a nightmare. If I could give zero.. I would on behalf of my family. They just had there new bedroom furniture delivered from Ashley Furniture. This was supposed to be an exciting time for everyone, newly built home and new furniture. However, this Ashley furniture experience has been terrible and extremely upsetting. The delivery company TNT distribution was an epic fail to say the least. When they arrived 2 men came and the first piece was a bedroom dresser normal size and weight. They struggled to get it up the stairs they made it up 3 steps when they stopped, (while it was very hot this day, but this is no excuse), one man proceeds to huff and puff then SPITS on my moms floor!!! WTF and then flings sweat from his face on the floor! While She was clearly standing there!! Then after that they make it up the stairs when She heard a bang! Of course She goes investigate and find not 1 not 2 but multiple marks and 2 gouges in the wall. With the 2nd piece more bangs. After the furniture is in my room She inspected it and the front of both dressers have paint like stains and marks all over the 2 dressers. She told them and they put her on the phone with customer service with Ashley home furniture. Rachel her advisor was polite and said someone would be out to look and repair the items, she also said someone from delivery would be calling about the walls. Okay fine. About an hour later Kelly with TNT calls and was super unhelpful and unprofessional. My mother and father are so upset over her unwillingness to understand my frustration. She proceeds to tell my mom they will repair the walls but will not refund her any of the delivery fee. Which was extra because they needed a Saturday delivery because they work Monday through Friday. All she would say is " this happens all the time and no one ever asks for a refund" ... first off what kinda company says that......well We paid for a service and this is not acceptable ! She wanted a date and time to come by to repair the damage but would not discuss any refunds for the delivery that we paid Extra for, when they damaged our house and spit on our floor. Later that day LazyBoy delivered furniture they had towels around their necks and sweat bands on. They were prepared and polite. All of the moving had been completed the day before by Able moving - they moved all of the stuff and never touched a wall in either home, extremely professional. Customers beware Ashley Home furniture and their delivery company! They will damage your home and then proceed to say "we will come out to fix it" which by the way is during the week when people freaking work. So the time you have to take off and the money difference is about the Same you'd pay to buy furniture somewhere else. Oh and they paid cash upfront for entire bedroom set. I can tell you one thing, this family will never buy from Ashely again. They lost money buying from them and our family. I went in this evening just to look around with my wife for some furniture for our new apartment. We were in the store for about a minute before we were helped by Juan Saenz. This guy was amazing. He not only helped you look around at furniture but he went over how the furniture was made and where it comes from. I really felt like we learned a lot from him and that he was super helpful. He went way beyond what I feel like was needed and just amazed me and my wife. Juan was just a truly wonderful guy who took his job seriously but also looked like he enjoyed doing it. My wife and I purchased furniture here Thanksgiving week, making it very clear it was for a home we were purchasing in December and providing a specific delivery day. The salesman and manager both said it wouldn't be an issue and that a week after the sale (first week of December), I would receive a followup call. Last week, after receiving no call and with a delivery date promised of Dec 23rd, I called into the store to see what was going on. I was told I would receive a call on Saturday at 1pm, as they weren't able to schedule it in their system right then. No call on Saturday, so I followed up today, Sunday. Now I'm being told the delivery is being pushed back a week. This is irritating. I am not receiving the merchandise on the day it was promised and I didn't receive not one, but two, followup calls. The current rating and multiple reviews for this store are accurate. I had full intentions of returning to Ashley's to purchase more furniture to furnish my new home. Now, I'll go elsewhere. (PS - I bough from Bobs in Falls Church and their post-sale service has been great. Ashley's may want to figure out how they do business.) read more

Amongst the worst customer service experiences I have had. Third time that they have scheduled a delivery through their third party delivery company, TNT. Third time that they have called to cancel because they do not have the parts. I confirmed with Cathy in the delivery department prior to last delivery who assured me that all parts were available and apologized for the previous two mix ups. This morning, during the scheduled delivery window, TNT rep Victoria called to tell me, yet again, part was not available. To pass the problem, she forwarded the line to a supervisor that was not at desk and did not answer. Call back was unsuccessful as well. Confused at this clown show. Highly recommend to stay away from this location. Update: Single email addressing 1/3 of the issue at hand. No follow up to response email. Half hearted attempt at reconciliation and non-address of the delivery issues leads me to believe there is a poor corporate culture severely lacking in basic business acumen and customer service. 1 Star is being nice. I ordered a bedroom suite from Ashley Furniture in June 2016. It's now 5 months later and I have yet to get the complete bedroom set that I ordered. The nightstand has arrived to my house 3 times, damaged. They told me I should take a marker to the damaged areas to fix it. Ah, that would be a negative. The dresser arrived damaged as well. They have shipped 4 dresser drawer replacements, all damaged. I will never ever purchase anything from this company again. Their customer service is awful. You can never get through to them via phone. They have my money, but 5 months later I am still waiting for the complete set of furniture to arrive at my home, not damaged. We live on Fort Belvoir (military installation) and were told we would receive our couch today. We were worried about them getting on base but assumed they had a plan already since our address says "Fort Belvoir" and they didn't say anything about it. Wrong, the store and the delivery service are NOT in sync and they openly know this. Which is unacceptable and terrible customer service. The delivery service only delivers on base on Fridays due to the paperwork needed, which is completely understandable, when told about this. Instead, we moved our old couches out, stuffed all of our living room furniture into the dining room area to make room for the delivery just to be told we have to reschedule to Friday because of their screw up. Now, my family, including my 7 month old have to sit on the floor for the next 3 days. What's worse is that the driver called my wife to tell her he "couldnt" give the guards his drivers license, not that he "didn't" have it. My experience initially was very good as the salesman Reggie Harvey worked with me. I made my puchase on 10/29 and was told and documented it would arrive 11/8, that date came and went. I followed up with the store and they said that one part of the sectional sofa didn't pass the QA but they were going to expidite the section and that I would receive the furniture before Thanksgiving, I again called 2 days before the holiday and got the run around that it wasn't available but would be for sure for the Black Friday event, whelp...... It's not here and I was told by Reggie that he was sending a 911 email to the powers that be. I finally called corporate customer care and spoke to the information Queen, Danielle who gave me more information than I received from Reggie Harvey who apparently was promoted to a manager. I am optimistic that Danielle will follow through with her email to the logistics department to expidite my delivery. read more

The purpose of this narrative is to make official complaint against Ashley's Furniture and make other potential customers aware of Ashley's bad business practices. On or September 16, 2016 my wife and I visited Ashley's Furniture located at 14250 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. We purchased a King adjustable bed and mattress. No delivery date could be confirmed. Instead the salesperson Reggie said we would receive a call one or two days before delivery dates. About a week later, the furniture was delivered on a Saturday at 8pm. The window was 1pm-4pm. About one or two days later we noticed that the mattress was not the mattress we had purchased. In addition, the adjusted bed had already malfunctioned. My wife visited the store to inquire and confirm that mattress was mistakenly delivered. After confirming, arrangements were made to deliver the correct mattress and retrieve the incorrect mattress. On October 1, 2016, a team representing Ashely's Furniture arrived with a mattress, but again the wrong mattress. We explained in detail to the delivery team that the mattress was not the mattress we purchased. We also spoke with a lady from Ashley's distribution center. Even though she was in disagreement we had photos of the correct mattress to accompany our sales receipt to prove that mattress was not the correct mattress. We visited Ashely's Furniture Store of Woodbridge and spoke with Reggie (Manager?) whom sold us the furniture. Reggie said the only thing he could do was send an email to Ashely's Corporate Office explaining the situation. He also said there would be a 48 hour window before anyone would contact us. (Nobody ever contacted us) After nearly four days and receiving no calls, letters, or emails from Ashely's Corporate Office, I decided to visit Ashely's Furniture of Woodbridge. I explained the situation to Ahmad (Manager?). I sat and waited while Ahmad made several phone calls. After numerous calls he was able to contact someone name Omar. After 20 minutes Ahmad had not decided a remedy to the problem. Moreover, he could not confirm that issue that led up to my visit nor a scheduled appointment we were told we had for a repairperson to fix the adjustable bed. As of this message, Ashley's Furniture has no plan to resolve the issue. I have many concerns because Ashley's is in breach of a sales agreement. I am being forced to accept a mattress not of my choosing and a broken adjusted bed. Moreover, the broken bed issue is one that Ashley's Furniture Customer Care Dept. is putting off on Sealy's (manufacturer). Again the bed broke in two days or less. This is more than a mistake or bad service. This is now a legal issue as Ashley's Furniture has not held up their end of this sales agreement. read more

The only way we finally got someone to contact us was to contact the Better Business Bureau. It was comical how quick we got a response once the complaint was made. I wish I could do a negative one review on this store because that is what they truly deserve. My husband and I purchased a king headboard/footboard back in May with a delivery date of July. Would of worked out great because we were closing on our house in July. Well we closed with no issues on our house but got that dreadful call saying our item was not delivered to the warehouse. So they gave us a new date for the end of August. Got a call again now saying it should be in the warehouse at the end of September! I would never recommend this company to anyone! I called to try to get an update on my item and was on hold for 10 minutes. Finally had someone pick up to only be placed back on hold. 20 minutes I stayed on the phone waiting and eventually had to hang up to take another call. Since this order I have ordered furniture from other stores and have Received the items with no issues. Yes I know things happen but the customer service I have received is terrible and there is no excuse for that. I want people to really be mindful of you ever purchase from this company that they have a no refund policy, which basically traps you, and should of been a red flag for us from the beginning. All I can say is UNETHICAL!!!! #BuyerBeware. DOES NOT DELIVER - Falsely make promises. I wanted to buy 2 Sofas and I told the sales person and general mgr I would buy the sofas if ASHLEY could deliver in two weeks. They said it would take 4 weeks. I was not happy with the 4 weeks, but, I thought they were of good faith for delivery. I told them IF THE DELIVER FURNITURE IN 4 WEEKS THEN I WOULD PURCHASE the sofas. I repeatedly ask, "ARE YOU SURE YOU CAN DELIVERY MID-MARCH?" They responded adamantly and emphatically, "YES!" The Sales associate and General Mgr re-affirmed the delivery date of 12 MARCH, 4 weeks from purchase date of 13 FEB and if I purchased tonight (13 FEB 18) I would get my sofas the week of 12 March. Again, I ask, " ARE you sure you can deliver that week?" I told the GM if he could not deliver THEN I WOULD WALK OUT THE STORE - Because I walked out on him before When he made a bogus promise (That should have been my spidy senses telling me to stay away from this store). Well, I thought he was sincere and I agreed to purchase the sofas. Fast forward a week, I checked the deliver status online and low and behold the Deliver date to the WAREHOUSE (NOT MY HOUSE) was 26 MARCH!!!!! THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF WHAT I FORESEE AS THE " RUN-AROUND" I called Customer Care and then Deferred me to the ASHLEY store in Woodbridge. I called the Store and they passed me to the sales rep that assisted me. I explained to him that this was NOT What we agreed to. I told him I wanted to talked to the GM who was part of this transaction, he said he would call me back. An hour and half later I had to call the store and found out the GM was off. SO I said put the manager on duty on the phone. I was passed instead to the Store Customer Care. I explained the situation again about the bogus delivery date, and she said the delivery date is "JUST an ESTIMATE". Two Weeks to me is more than an estimate. I told the Customer Care Rep to put the MGR on the phone. I explain again to the MGR my situation, and response was," Well, I did not take your order and I Don't know what agreement I had with the GM." So, I told him if the store cannot deliver as promised, then CANX the order. Then, this where the fun starts. He tells me to look at the small print on the back of form stating they do not DO REFUNDS!!! I told him how is RETURNS NOT ACCEPTED IF I NEVER RECEIVED THE MERCHANDISE!!!! The worst experience, sales people are nice but once their job is done you are left with the ineptitude and lack of customer service from the rest of the team. I bought a 5,000 mattress, was sitting at the store for 4hrs because the clerk made various mistakes in my application that had to be foxed with the bank.... didnt get fixed until the next day. Had to go back to sign and again correct them TWICE on the shipping address. No compensation or apology was offered for the store caused delay. Item arrived and its great. I got the card for the loan and cannot login to make a payment!!! I call the store and customer service as im fed up and just want to pay it off directly so i never have to deal with ashley furniture again and they say they cant take payment or do anything even though its only been 15days max since the purchase. Rude, lack of knowledge, and the worst is that they dont try to help you or work with you at all. You get these rude automaton responses from everyone and i got snappy rude comments from they customer service rep hahahahah do NOT recommend this place. I want to start off by saying that I have never written a review before, positive or negative. That being said, my experience purchasing this dresser was absolutely awful. It took three tries to get the dresser (and delivery was only Thursdays and every other Saturday in DC which adds up fast - I was led to believe it would be much more frequent when I purchased the dresser). It took two months (during which I was living out of boxes with no idea if/when my dresser that I paid hundreds of dollars for would arrive), significantly longer than the 2-3 week window I was promised. But I get it, I don't want a broken dresser. When large cracks appear during transportation, I appreciate them not just dumping it off. Makes me wonder the quality of my dresser, but fine. After all that, the dresser arrived in less than perfect condition. There were multiple scratches, which the delivery guys covered with marker. Additionally, one of the handles was loose. It took another two weeks for me to receive a bag of handles. Turns out, though, that the handles were for a different dresser. They reshipped the correct handles, but refused to expedite them. Even though it was their mistake. I was told it would come in about a week, and then called back and told it would actually be 4 to 5 days. All this time, I couldn't schedule a technician (who would only come out on Thursdays and one Saturday a month) until the handle arrived. When they only send out someone once a week, the slots filled up fast, and the times I was available were long full before the handle arrived, meaning it would be weeks and weeks before the dresser would be fixed. When I called, I was repeatedly told all the managers were in a meeting, and no, they would not call me back. Another two weeks later (we are at 3 months now), the correct handle finally arrived. I fixed the dresser myself - at this point, I didn't have time or energy to wait another couple of weeks for a technician - scratching the dresser in the process due to the defective screw the dresser came with. But at least I'm done. I paid $400 to feel like an inconvenience when I called to ask for a timeline or assistance, to have to deal with a broken dresser that was promised to be delivered in good quality. Ashley's Furniture's policies are frustrating and clearly geared to protecting the company, not providing a quality product to the consumer. And believe me, I now tell everyone I know not to order from Ashley's Furniture. read more

*Woodbridge VA Store- NIGHTMARE ENDS WITH WRONG DELIVERY- COFEE TABLE IS THE SIZE OF MY LIVING ROOM* This has been the worst customer service experience I have EVER had. I made a purchase 11/9/20and was told it would arrive 12/4. Once that time passed and there was no communication from the store, I left messages for the customer service at the Woodbridge location, but never received a call back. Starting 12/12/2020 I called customer service (corporate) and was told that there has been a delay, and some people are still waiting for their items from July. I explained that if there was an extensive delay I would rather cancel my order and get my money refunded. Corporate customer service told me this is not something they could help with, and that they would have to refer me back to the store. I called 12/19, 12/22 (4 times because I was transferred to the store & was disconnected/hung up on- Amanda at Corp. was understanding but she said only the store could help me), 12/23 (Isabella at the store told me the manager Malcom could not talk to me now because 'he has to make sales'- said he would call me back after 7pm. I never received a call). 12/29 x2 because after holding for 20 minutes I was transferred to the store and had to call corporate back because no one could/would help me at the store- Asad hung up on me (At Corp. I asked the Rep Sherida to speak to a manger and she told me that there was not one available. I told her I would hold, and she said that I would be holding forever and there was no one to help me. She said she would email a manager named Timia who would call me in 24-48hrs but I never received a call back). 1/5/2021 I called back because no one reached out to me still- I explained to another rep what was happening, and they told me that my order was at the Warehouse and ready to ship. At this point, something that should have been so simple- 1. The items were delayed. 2. Customer said 'no worries, but cancel and refund me. 3. TURNED INTO CUSTOMER NIGHTMARE because the STORE has no regard for customer service and no manager cares enough to call back... So, to get it over with, I said, 'great just deliver them'. They explained they could deliver 1/9/2021 and I said I had an appointment in the morning on 1/9 but I could do the afternoon. She said someone would call me to schedule. I specifically asked, 'will it be a person calling to schedule, or will it be a robot' and was told it would be a person... On 1/8, it was a robo-call that stated delivery time was during the time I said I was NOT available. I called to cancel and was told there would be a fee- I explained the whole situation again- the rep waived the fee and rescheduled me to 1/12. On 1/11 I got a call letting me know my bookcase was damaged and would not be delivered- they would resend and set up another delivery. The other items came today (a love seat which is perfect) and a COFFEE TABLE THE SIZE OF MY LIVING ROOM! The store ordered the wrong coffee table... On the sales notes it says "Lift Coffee Table"- which is a 36" Square coffee table that has storage and a lift. They sent a HUGE Rectangular coffee table. I refused delivery and called customer service where again they told me the STORE has to help me. Again- Asad at the store said a manager could not help me because 'they had sales to make', but that he would look over my paperwork and call me back. I explained everything that I have went through and explained NO ONE FROM THE STORE HAS CALLED ME BACK IN THE PAST 2 MONTHS and asked to speak to a manager and was still refused because 'THEY HAVE SALES TO MAKE'... Through this entire process I have been patient, understanding, and calm. I have explained that I would rather speak to a manager than turn to the internet reviews and BBB- but unfortunately this is where I am at. Lied to us. We purchased a fair amount of furniture, and they offered us the furniture protection plan through Montage. They explained that the plan lasted five years, at the end of which, if no claim was made, we could get the money back as store credit. We specifically asked, as I was active duty military, if both the protection plan and credit would be available around the country. They said yes. Now, six years later, they say that this is not the truth. Have had a great experience at other Ashley Furniture locations, but here they lied to us to make a sale. My experience at Ashley Furniture was great! The wife and I decided to splurge for once, and with the help of Kelly Kirkpatrick, we found everything we wanted. The wait was a bit long, but only because it was Black Friday and the store was packed. Being that Kelly had experience in interior design, she helped us pick the right matching furniture for our home style(she even moved furniture across the store to match different pieces). We were able to pick out 3 rooms of furniture, mainly due to the great help of Kelly F. ...she worked with us for several hours, as excited as we were to find those items that matched our tastes and budget. The staff was helpful in scheduling delivery around our needs. We've been back several times just to see what new items have come in, arranging a time we could work again with Kelly. NEVER going back to Ashley! Few days have passed no call from Ahmed-Manager or any Manager covering for him. We specifically bought a bed set wayyy ahead of time & gave them a date. No calls or updates about delivery for 06/20-I finally called and come to find out my items were in back order! The sales rep Ace said he didn't know that what we were buying was not available!!! I have proof of text messages from sales rep that he guaranteed that my items will be delivered by 06/20 so we will not sleep on the floor. MIKE, the owner needs to see the problems in his company. SCAM! Warranty is a total SCAM! We were told 'No questions asked...' but now feels like they intentionally make it extra difficult so people are discouraged. Also the delivery of the furniture was delayed and we were promised a $100 gift card as a compensation for the inconvenience which we have to receive yet after almost three years. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible experience. Me and my husband look around and I go to use the bathroom. He waits for me on the mattress outside of the restrooms. I come out of the restroom and sit for a second (in pregnant and my feet were hurting). Of course a sales lady comes over and starts giving us info on the mattress and we say we arnt here to buy a mattress. She keeps pushing and pushing after I keep telling her we just bought a mattress. She then goes on and on pushing for us to get this mattress. We leave the mattress section and the store VERY annoyed. BUT that wasn't even the worst part. We are LITERALLY walking out of the store. When we get 10 feet from our car we hear a yell behind us and it was a sale associate. I figured I left something behind. BUT NO...he came out and said his boss sent him out to see if we were helped finding a mattress. HE FOLLOWED US TO OUR CAR PEOPLE. I will never go back because they were so pushy. I should've known the quality build of my purchased Ridgley Sleigh bed frame was bogus! When.. Not even seven months after purchasing from Ashley HomeStore, this product starts squealing /squeaking like some old rickety piece of furniture when getting in/out of it. I had to contact customer care to have a REPAIR man come to my home to FIX (cost me $75) product I spent almost a grand for. Fast forward... Now my bed is sitting on the floor BROKE!! Detached from a side rail on one side with short nails exposed. Shoddy construct apparently! So, I contact customer care again to send someone to repair? They tell me... because I didn't purchase their expensive extended warranty at the time... that they can't do anything for me. I feel soo duped by Ashley Furniture... I will NEVER shop with them EVER again! I will DISCOURAGE ANYONE who would purchase this expensive crappy furniture... Who spends hundreds of dollars to replace furniture every few years?? DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing furniture from this store. Initially, when I went in there, everyone was very friendly. The manager was the one who ended up selling us the furniture. We bought over $2000 worth of items, a bedroom set and dining room set. I was told we would have delivery NO LATER THAN March 20th, 2018 and that was a "far" estimate because they had been backed up from President's Day. Which seemed fine to me. This was February 27, 2018. I went on vacation for 10 days on March 2nd and was surprised that I had not received a call to at least SET UP the delivery. I called the store and the first person I spoke with told me that it now wouldn't be arriving until the first week of April ..... "maybe". My old furniture is already sold and out of my house in preparation for our NO LATER THAN March 20th expected date. I told them that this was not okay and that I wanted to speak to the manager. I was told that he was busy and would give me a call back. About 3 hours later, I still had not received a call so I called again and spoke with a different person. I explained the situation to her again and she told me that he would have to call me. I expressed that I had already been through that and he didn't call. She ensured me that he would call before the store closes at 7pm. I did not receive a call. First thing this morning, I called the Ashley HomeStore corporate office. They basically told me that there is nothing they can do and that I need to engage with the customer service department for this specific store. I called the number I was given, come to find out that they are only open Tues-Saturday?? I guess people don't need customer service on Mondays. The actual store itself doesn't open until 10 am, so I just have to sit on my feet until then, to probably get told the same thing, that the manager will call me. It is so frustrating to spend an extra $150 on delivery fees for a delivery that doesn't happen when it is supposed to. I'll update as soon as I hear more.... EDIT: Called the store multiple times today. One person told me that my furniture now would not be here until April 23rd... ALMOST TWO MONTHS AFTER I ORDERED IT. After close to an hour on hold with different people, DeAnna (she is awesome and probably the best part of the store) was able to help me and get some movement. I heard back from the manager (after raising hell) and they are requesting expedited delivery. I hope this works because it will suck to be without furniture for another month and a half.... BUT rest assured, I will never spend money at this Ashley store again. read more

This is the last time ill be shopping here. They do not value their customers at all. They lie just to get a sale. This by far the WORST customer service experience I have ever experienced. They ask you to pick a delivery date and then they don't deliver on that date you call ask whats going on just to find out they have a whole different date set up. Even though the items you have ordered are still at their main warehouse when you try to cancel the order they still want to hit you with %30 restocking fee but the items are still in their position and at their main warehouse. I would completely understand if i would have the items in my position and then try to return. Then you talk to the rep and pretty much in other words my purchase means nothing to them because they have soo many people buying from them...... I completely regret buying from them. We ordered our furniture on June 6th 2020. We were told that it would be ready in 4 weeks. July came around and we had not received a call or an update so I called early July and was told that it would now be ready at the end of July because they were just waiting for the mattress to arrive. We understood that with the whole corona pandemic there was a major push back on the order so we waited. Last week I called again 2nd call and they told me that it would be delivered to our home on August 6/2020 and that we would receive a call on 8/5/20 to pick a time frame when they can drop it off. That was a lie because no one ever called. Now we are in August, I called again for the 3rd time now and they are telling me that our new estimated time will be August 12-19th. What ever happened to it coming on 8/6/2020? We ordered a bed and mattress and when I called the first time they told me they are waiting on just the mattress. Now they're telling me that they are waiting on the headboard and parts to put it all together. Either someone is not doing there job right or they're lying. I am getting different answers every time. This is getting ridiculous. To top it all off I spoke to the so called store manager "Jill" which she was extremely rude. I don't know how she is the manger with that attitude and terrible customers service skills. She should not be working there. She started giving me statistics on how many workers they have which I didn't need to know. 98% have been laid off and only have kept 2%. I was calling to get a real answer on when our furniture was going to be delivered and why I keep getting different answers every time I call. At this point I could've gotten my furniture at a different store and would have had it in our home. I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK TO ASHELY'S EVER AGAIN!!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE GOING THERE. We went to this Ashley homestore in Woodbridge, to buy bedroom set and coffee table. The price tags on some furniture were not attached so we had to ask the sale associate. The bedroom set that we saw in there was more expensive than any other stores ( the exact same brand). Thus we ended up buying coffee table. The person who was helping us made us feel special and we felt like we got a great deal. However after checking their website, me and my fiancé felt like total idiot. The online prices were slightly lower( we thought he gave us discount) they even included free shipping. I highly recommend to check their Ashley website and buy online instead of this particular store. Online Prices are better and we can't trust these Sale people as they make commission. We were looking for a coffee table and office desk. The sales person greeted us, and we let them know we wished to browse and would check-in if we had questions. He followed us and kept asking questions and trying to engage us in conversation. We let him know that we did not wish to be followed or have questions. He informed us we were "rude" and that we were in his "house" and he had the right to do the s. We said, we thought he was being rude treating us this way. As he felt th A way, we left right away. I never knew how frustrating furniture shopping could be, especially for someone like me and my fiancee that need to furnish our first home together. After many failed attempts at other furniture stores we finally found one that had it all, great price, great selection and overall most important amazing customer service. I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture! I received excellent customer service from (Nelly Panta) and the management team they are very friendly and knowledgeable about all types of furniture. Nelly was also very patient and took the time to show me and my fiancee different pieces of furniture based on what we were looking for and answered all of our questions.
