I got stuck on the highway ..we were scared to death. I called Cambria Auto and talk to a very nice lady named Sarah. She sent her mechanic up to look at my car. He was so friendly and knew immediately what was wrong. My water pump was leaking bad. I called Duncan Ford and they said bring it on over. Five minutes later Duncan Ford called back and said..we can't take you. That's ford not standing behind their cars. Cambria Auto took my car to their shop and started working on it. My car was ready Friday by 10 AM. Sarah worked with my extended warranty co. and took care of the charges. Next morning Sarah brought my car to the hotel. As far as Towing, I have had two cars towed by them and the drivers were always great. I also…read morethought they may be good for auto repairs and have had cars to them at least 4 times. Prices seemed high but I figured for the convince of location was worth it. This is until the last time I had a problem. Coming home from work the car lost power and called for a tow. When he arrived he put on the jumper cables and sparks flew out like I have never seen from just a jump. Battery would not hold charge and he said he thought it was the alternator-so had him take it to shop and install new alternator. Got car when when finished and went to work. That night, the exact same thing happened and same driver came and tried to jump and more extreme sparks out of battery and this time he said that "the battery is to small for the car" so back it went and had new battery installed. This time when I picked it up the windows, radio, rear break lights and dash board lights were not working. Back to their shop it went. I called the next morning to check to see if it had been looked at and was told "havnt had time" waited a day and still nothing so i just said forget it and picked it up. A co-worked said "it sounds like he fried the battery and/ or blew fuses when he jumped it". So took it down the road to another mechanic and he fixed it within 2 hours and said the TOTAL CAR CARE seemed to have blown the fuses when jumping,and said I probably didnt need the alternator nor the battery- they are crooked and overpriced

Update: 4 months later and during my state inspection, the mechanic found my coolant was extremely…read morelow. After a pressure test, the issue was the exact hose Firestone replaced... Come to find out, the heater hose that had been replaced wasn't even on correctly!! It was sliding on and off and would not click into place. I don't know if the gave me the wrong size hose, a faulty hose, or just didn't care enough to do it correctly, but there's no reason why it should break within 4 months. The reason I didn't fully dump coolant was because the hose expands when the car runs, so it creates a good seal. When it cools, since it wasn't on right, my car slowly leaked coolant over several months. I'm so glad that I ended up only paying 220 for this hose, because the original quote was over $600. If I had paid over 600 to get a hose that would break in less than a year, I'd be furious. I am still pretty upset because my mechanic thinks that Firestone just forced the hose to fit on there when it shouldn't have been. I will not take my car here again, that's for sure!

He works on all my vehicles. Bottom line: Don does solid work at a fair price. You just need to be flexible with him on your schedule and when he can do the work. He's very matter of fact. Some approach business with him by pushing agendas and expectations. Expect push back from him if you do this. If you want someone to tiptoe around your feelings only to upcharge you or fix things that aren't necessary, you'll be better going somewhere else. He may be gruff, but if you go in making a decision to assume he knows his stuff, and not be triggered...you'll find yourself discovering a gem in Don...and you might just make a friend in the process. He's a good dude.

I SINCERELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP…read more I own Honda Accord 2021 Sport. I started getting a bunch of warnings on my car such as TPMS, Breaking System, Sensors, Lights etc... I went to them, and explained the problem to them very thoroughly. They made me pay 250$ to run a FULL diagnostic on the car to figure out the cause of the problem. Once it was done I got told that I needed to replace the tires in the back IN ORDER to fix the problem presented to them. So I approved the repairs and paid 1375$ adding the fact that i got charged an extra 200$ for some whit locks. Once the tires got changed the car was given back to me and I was assured that the problem has been resolved. I drove the car for about 0.3 miles and got the same warnings as before. I bring the car back they run another test and I'm being told that when they ran the diagnostic a second time and found out that my gas pedal was faulty and did not show up on their computer... So they told me that it needed to be changed in order to fix my initial problem, cost me about 422$. I was initially promised a reduced price at 250$ but the next day I was told that the charge would be 422$ because of the cost of said gas pedal. They replace the gas pedal, and give me the car telling me the car is fine now and all the warnings have been fixed. I was guaranteed that the car was tested. I drove the car once more and encounter the same problem. As I'm typing this, I went back to their shop today to ask for a refund, due to their inability to fix my problem and being charged for repairs that have NOT FIXED my problem whatsoever. I was denied my refund under the guise that they have already done work on the car even though they have not fixed my problem. Long story short, I've been charged for repairs, been guaranteed that those repairs were going to fix the problem made aware to them. Just to end up back to square one with the my initial problem and spending close 1800$ on useless repairs. I'm sharing this story in hopes that other people NEVER go to this shop. Predatory business, overpriced estimates, no guarantee that your car will be fixed after they have worked on it.

One day, without an appointment, I drove up and Mr. Gabor listened to me for about 1 minute, said it was one of two things....and immediately replaced a fuse and charged me $50.
