My parents dine here frequently and brought me along for dinner one day. Parking is not an issue at all and we went early enough that seating wasn't either. I did notice that it started getting busier past 6:30pm [which is a good thing because then the food stays fresh!]. The pricing isn't bad for the variety of food that is offered. I believe for holiday pricing it was $14.99/person for dinner. I stuck with the salmon, eel, coconut shrimp, green beans and a TON of beef :) The staff was diligent about picking up our empty plates but neglected to refill my water. This place is a complete ripoff!!!!! A friend told me he had eaten at this place a long time ago and it was very good food and a great price. He was meeting a friend there and I was going to get something to go. First they told me they had "to go" by the pound for $7.99 including the rolls. When I put some in one of their plastic containers and weighted in at 1.08 lbs. Then they wanted to charge me $24.99!!!! The young man at the register then was told by some woman speaking chinese that it was not $7.99 per pound! I started to leave when she told me I had to pay for it because I put it in a container. After I stoped laughing I told her I had no intetion of paying for something that I did not want! They need to educate their employee's about the real price of their food and not try to steal from people!!!!! I will never go back!!!! read more

Been coming here for several years now. One of the better Asian buffet restaurants in OC. Unlike some competitors, they replenish the serving station trays fairly often and it's unusual to find something that has sat under a heat lamp for hours as is all-too common. Very wide variety of items in the lunch buffet, although at $19, it's about $6 too high for what you get, especially since a soft drink is not included for that $19. read more

This is surprisingly one of the better buffets in town. All the reviews that are 2 stars and lower, just ignore them. The people who probably wrote them are low-class hicks. The food taste great for what you pay and the service was quick. Every time a family member or I would go get more food our drinks would be refilled and they would even keep the area clean. Great quality ingredients and I really recommend going here if you're trying to get something affordable for you and your family. Eat very little fried foods but if that's your thing you're going to be in for a huge surprise with shrimp, chicken, and tempura. I had an urge for a buffet and in Southern OC thats hard to come by...alas Asian Buffet to the rescue...nope not really. I was quite expensive for 3 of us and 3 drinks it was $45!!!!! Shoulda gone to King Fish instead where we would have had a decent plate of food. No wait time...cool. Broken leaking cup of water....not cool. Seafood delight...cool. Nasty, skimpy, thin slice of salmon on a thick rice pad....not cool. Egg drop soup....cool. Plates super slow to leave the table....not cool. Tried a lot of stuff and Id say stay away from the Korean BBQ steak...bland and chewy. They have sour strawberry's and seeded grapes at their salad bar...no bueno. Their corn on the cob is good as is their jello but for Chinese food Id say stick to Panda Express. read more

The food was absolutely delicious and there were SO many options to choose from. My husband and I filled up multiple plates and ate to our heart's content. It was not too busy as our visit was in the mid afternoon on a Thursday. Overall, the establishment was pretty clean and the service for our drink order was swift. Although, the waitress forgot to bring me an ice tea. Everything we ate was amazing with the exception of their desserts. Some of the pastries were stale and others were fresh so it was hit or miss. We did really enjoy the fried squid and the pork dumplings as well as the varieties of shrimp and muscles and other various seafood. We will definitely be returning. It's hard to find a good Asian buffet but this place is A-OK. They have a good selection and the food is good but not great. They feature various hot items, cold items and dessert. There is nothing here that stands out but they do a consistent job from item to item. They have many chicken items such as General Tsao's Chicken, Orange Chicken, Honey Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken Stick. They also have beef ribs, fish and vegetable items with a sprinkling of other food such garlic bread, pizza and french fries. One recommendation is to get rid of Pepsi and replace with Coke. read more

Great array including Chinese, Japanese and Western options. For birthday deal-seekers: You can get a free meal here on your birthday with a party of at least 4. The quality of the dinner/weekend buffet is comparable to more expensive Asian seafood buffets in this area. The decor could use a facelift, but then the prices would go up. I am very impressed with this buffet, they had a lot of food to choose from and everything I had tried was delicious. My favorite was the garlic mussels, coconut shrimp and sushi bar. I live over 2 hours away and I was visiting Luguna woods for a few days. I would defiantly come back out to Luguna just for this buffet, it puts all of ours to shame! read more

Variety is the spice of life and that's where this place shines. Pretty good food and lots of choices.

My relatives or friends would meet here in the past six years for large group gathering or celebration. My dad wanted to go here for Father's Day so the price was a few dollars more but there were much more food and desserts selection. The food was actually pretty good (4/5) that night. In the past, I thought the food was average. If someone wanted to go here, then I would go because I liked the seafood selection. The staff quickly filled more steamed crab legs and food which I thought was great considering the restaurant was very crowded. The customer service (5/5) was very good for a busy night. read more

Same comments of my original review with the following additions. The chickens in general were much better. The orange chicken was still not too good, but not as bad as before. The sesame chicken was slightly off. Some of the other dishes were not as good as last time, so there may be a quality variety. I would say, for the most part it is a good selection, and most items are good or at least ok. It does not have the highest quality food but for variety I currently give it a 4 stars (Actually I would give 3.5 if I could, not quite a 4, but that is not a Yelp option). Improvement is needed in consistency, last time I was here more of the items tasted better. The orange and sesame chicken need improvement, especially the orange chicken. Might be back again, if so and improvements occur will give another update. read more

Before covid the service and food was great, after covid we visited last month the food not great anymore, they do not refill right away the shrimps, crabs and it seems to be unorganized and some areas in the food sections like around the soups were nasty & dirty. Staff & manager was not very responsive when you let them know the food are not being refilled. The fact the prices went up they should provide good food. Do not come to this place after 8 pm. They do not put out anymore fresh food even if they have people in the restaurant still. My family and I have been coming to this buffet for years, but will not be back after this experience. If you did not want to take us all they had to do was tell us and we would of gone elsewhere. My daughter asked multiple times for pizza and the staff acted like they didn't hear her. You are not giving us free food as we are paying customers. Ended up paying $60 for 2 plates as they had very limited/old entrees. I would of made a scene, but I had my daughter with me and know that that is not the way to behave and chose to leave. I will not recommend this place. Staff were very unprofessional and huddles around the buffet area looking very angry. That is not the way a restaurant should be. For $15 per adult, the buffet selection was decent. They have crab leg, fried shrimp, steamed fish. It's an ok option for buffet. But don't expect to have a 5 stars casino buffet service and food standard. It's not Vegas and you are not paying that price. So with that in mind, you should have an ok experience. I have lived in Mission Viejo for 30 years and have noticed this business but never visited figuring that it was another dirty buffet with crappy food. Not until my neighbor took me there did I venture into the location. I was really surprised as the place was clean, well decorated and filled with a lot of people during lunch. I checked out the restrooms to verify my findings and they too were spotless and modern. I found a large variety of food including salads, soups, sushi, a large selection of entrees and deserts. While not stellar it was really pretty good and you might say for the price it was excellent. There might be items that are not to be to your liking but being a buffet you can just get something else. There is something their for everyone and if someone in your party does not like Asian food there are American dishes alow. Give it a try. read more

This place has a decent buffet at a decent price. I came here upon being recommended after going to nearby Laguna Hills mall. The workers are all very friendly with warm greeting entering and saying goodbye upon departure. I enjoyed the wide variety of food, american and asian. My favorite items were the chinese donut, sesame ball, vegetable tempura, crab meeat, potsticker, chicken, garlic bread, and the shrimp. We went to this place one night because we were hungry and desperate. Can't say I am surprised about the food. The sushi was a bit embarrassing and the white fish sashimi was definitely questionable. I am so glad I did not even try them. Also stay away from the dessert section. What do you expect from a cheap Chinese buffet after all.
