Ate lunch here today for the first time. They had a decent lunch crowd, which say a lot! Service was excellent, food came out fast and the Pad See Ew was great. Very flavorful, with enough sauce. I asked for chopped peanuts on the side which they gave me at no extra cost. I only wish there were a few more broccoli florets added as opposed to more stem. To my surprise they also served a rice soup which was tasty. I left with enough to have another meal. Thus, making 2 meals at $10.50 each. For eating out these days, I felt like it was worth it. Look up hole in the wall family owned Thai eatery and Thai All Day restaurant might just show up. I loved everything about this place, their menu and single waitress running around serving scattered tables with what one can only describe as going to your childhood friend's house and eating what their family makes-- filled with drama-less order and prompt attention. Hadn't seen fried wontons anywhere in a little bit and they did not disappoint. Adding that little bit of green onion in the cream cheese filling was brilliant! I think I just found my new go-to Thai spot! We came here on a weekday, around lunch time and was able to get seated right away. I appreciate that Thai All Day has a lunch special menu. I was craving pad see ew on this particular day and even though it's not on the lunch menu, I was so glad I ordered it because it completely hit the spot! Mango sticky rice is a must have too!!! That All Day is your typical neighborhood Thai restaurant. Spice levels reflect the neighborhood and are definitely not Thai spicy. My husband ordered his curry medium and it was more towards mild, with the slightest hint of heat. They have lunch specials Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm, with most of the items priced at $15.95. Lunch includes soup, rice and salad - unless you order a rice or noodle dish and then it's just soup. The soup was a chicken broth with rice noodles. I ordered pad see ew with tofu. The tofu was nicely fried and the noodles were decent. My husband was a little disappointed that his curry didn't have as much heat as he likes. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. It was a bit hard to spot in the mall, but it's right next door to Alien Diner. Plenty of parking in the lot. read more

I placed an order to go. Thai food is my comfort food so was excited. There pad see ew was fine but what really did it and it's been days I been thinking about this was the pineapple fried rice. I hate to do this but was the worst rice I've had. Nearly $20 with no flavor, rice undercooked, and no taste. Looked great visually but this was the worst. Wanted to support a new local restaurant so came here for date night to give it a try. Place replaced the old 'Spice Thai' restaurant which I was familiar with and has been around a long time. Started off with an off-putting smell after entering. Maybe some weird authentic sauce I thought but it wasnt pleasant. I should have left but stayed. Ordered a few dishes. Prices were definitely on the higher end from most standard Thai restaurants but if the quality is good I dont mind. Dishes started off strong and then became worse. Here's the rundown: * Rotti with Curry app - 5/5. This was very good. Curry was flavorful and not spicy. Roti moist and cooked well. * Pad See Ew with Shrimp - 3.5/5. The Pad See Ew noodles were fresh soft and cooked perfectly. The sauce was on point. The Shrimp were large. Honestly it would have been 5/5 if not for the single raw undercooked shrimp. The rest of shrimp borderline raw. Bummer. * Thai Iced Tea - 3/5. Flavor profile imbalanced. Not creamy enough. Bitter thai tea aftertaste. * Crab Fried Rice - 2/5. The crab didnt taste fresh was very ocean salty and dry. The egg on top was undercooked as well. * Crying Tiger - 1/5. This made me want to cry. Choices on menu were Medium or Medium Rare. I asked for Medium Rare. It came back charred Well Done. Since the dish costs $30 and meat wasnt that soft after a few bites I asked to have it re-made. Dish came back smaller portion than was sent back with half the meat still Well Done and the other half Rare. No joke. So I tried but at this point I just wanted refund or dish comped. I showed the uneven meat to our server. The server was nice enough but only offered 50% off this dish. Another lady came out and was defensive and claimed I ate 70% so I should get 30% off the dish. Not true btw. Really petty stuff. At this point I just wanted to get our check and leave. They gave 50% off crying tiger dish. Server apologized multiple times. Sadly I wont be coming back after this experience. Advice to management: 1. Get a better cook who knows how to properly cook proteins. 2. If you mess up a dish either fix it correctly or comp it 100%. Anything less to Americans is an insult. Especially with the prices you charging. 1 Star read more

I was hoping this place would be as good I've always counted since new ownership. I am pleased to report it absolutely was! Ordered the crying tiger and green chicken curry. These are two of my go-to's and they did not disappoint. These facelift inside was much needed and so glad to see the refreshed booths and it looks cleaner too. The service was good although the waitress did make us feel a bit rushed - I was hoping to learn more about the chef and had a few other questions but oh well. There's plenty of parking here and the new menu isn't much different than the previous. Prices are similar and consistent with competitors. I wish they shared what was gluten free for reference. The soup for lunch special was replaced with rice vs rice noodles would be the only thing about the food I didn't like as much as the old place. Will def go back read more

I'm honestly a bit picky, and it took me a lot of my life to stray from burgers and nuggets but I tried yellow curry and was hooked...now as a big yellow curry fan, this one did not disappoint!! I came to Thai All Day in Lake Forest as I was in the area - I don't usually come here often. They are located in the Lake Forest Village shopping center near Albertsons and have taken over the space from Spice Thai recently. It's a very nice spot with fun decor. We got the chicken satay appetizer with peanut sauce, pad thai with chicken and crab fried rice. Everything was delicious! The crab was fresh and tasty, and I really liked flavor of the pad thai. Chicken satay was perfectly cooked and the peanut sauce had a hint of spice, which was nice. The service was great, and everyone was so nice. They sent us home with a sweet snack to try! I have visited this place twice since they turned into Thai All Day (used to be Spice Thai. Most of the menu stayed the same BUT they downgraded the wontons. They dont taste as good as Spice Thai's. Pad Thai was good but not as good as Spice Thai's. I'll keep giving this place a shot. read more

Ordered Pad See Ew, Roti with Yellow Curry and Mango Sticky rice to go and even though I didn't eat them right away it was still so hot and amazing! Roti was a lot more than I thought for an appetizer saving some of the tasty curry left over to eat with rice :). Pad See Ew was flavorful and good portion.
