Best Chinese food in Goose Creek, SC located on St. James Avenue. Oh my goodness the best Mei Fun I have ever had! We always order from here when we are in town visiting the family. We keep it pretty simple and enjoy their Shrimp Mei Fun, Vegetable Mei fun, steamed dumplings and shrimp egg foo young. All very delicious and not full of dark soy sauce. Ordering online was very easy. Our order arrived fresh and steaming hot. The Mei fun is very similar to the Filipino pancit. Noodles are thin. The veggies and shrimp were fresh. My husband loves the shrimp egg foo young. This Chinese omelet was nice and fluffy with shrimp and chopped onions. Steamed dumplings was also warm and very flavorful of ground pork, cabbage and chopped scallions. We didn't wait long for our order, 25 minutes approximately. The young man who delivered our order had his mask and gloves on which we really appreciated. Very courteous too! My family and I definitely recommended Asia Express! read more

I am extremely picky about my Chinese food, but today I wanted to try somewhere new, so I took a chance. I ordered all my usual favorites and I was pleasantly surprised by most of the items. This might be my new go-to if I don't feel like Lam's Garden. The Crab Rangoon was great, well-stuffed and not overfried. The steamed dumplings were so delicate and I found them delicious, but hubby thought they needed more meat and fewer onions. The dipping sauce was perfect. The chicken sticks were excellent and cooked perfectly, with a fantastic teriyaki glaze. Hubby's beef lo mein was very good, with tender beef and savory sauce. My orange chicken was nicely breaded and still juicy. The sauce could have used more orange zest. I will request it next time and see what happens. They were pretty efficient getting the food prepared and ready to go. Young lady I spoke to at the counter was very cordial and quit can you take care of me. When I got home I was able to inbox everything and found that the pork egg foo young with rice and gravy were excellent. My issue comes in the shrimp egg rolls... kind of confused why it cost more to get one piece of shrimp in each egg roll... I have ordered by phone as well as their online ordering with their website Asianexpress.com and never once had a problem. My favorite go-to dishes are vegetable Lo mein, General Tso chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I've also had their beef and mushroom, the Rangoon and steamed dumplings. I liked everything I've ordered. I feel the prices are about the same as every Asian take out, and the portions are a pretty good size. I end up with two meals from my order. I always get the food quicker than they say and it's usually hot, so I can tell that they just made it fresh. The delivery folks are always nice and on time. The staff inside are nice, I've ordered fir pick up before, too. The place is easy to find, it's right off St James near Lowe's and Walmart. Overall, I highly recommend. Stay at the Holiday inn and found this place on google ! First the lady who pick up the phone was really nice and patient to us describing the menu . After we pick up the food chicken and broccoli taste so yummy and super good ! The family enjoy the ribs and some wonton soup . I ordered plain lo mein and got plain rice. the guy I spoke with said I screwed up, not him and unless I pay another delivery charge, he would not bring out what i ordered I repeated it 3 times because I have received shrimp or vegetable lo mein instead of plain lo mein. Honestly I really, really liked the food, it was very good. It was nice and hot, had good flavor, and satisfied me. The white sauce they give you are in very large containers. I just got some simple shrimp fried rice, some lumpia, and honey wings with a side of fries. Nothing too crazy. The problem is, I think I got some low grade food poisoning... I'm also pregnant so this was very concerning to me. Of course pregnant women get sickness sometimes, but this was vastly different than what I've ever experienced in 8 months. About 2 hours after eating I started feeling flush and very hot. I attempted to sleep but I just felt so faint and fatigued and sickly. Around 10 pm is when the vomiting began, which happened several times through the course of the night. The food I had eaten (which was the only food I ate pretty much the whole day) came up entirely. None of it was digested really. It was miserable and I had a bunch of cramping and it made for a terrible night. I'm glad I only ate a few wings and some shrimp fried rice and a couple bites of lumpia, or I think it would have been exponentially worse. I'm still experiencing some lingering effects. I don't want to give a terrible review because it's hard to tell when you're pregnant if you're actually truly sick, but I don't want to give a 5 star because the sickness was unlike anything I've ever experienced and had tell tale signs of food poisoning. Horrible customer service. Hibachi is not really hibachi, its stir fry, i asked the owner why list it if you don't offer it. He said so they can offer teriyaki, i told him, teriyaki or not, its the the food is cooked....if i wanted something steamed and stir fried full of liquid... i wouldn't order hibachi. If you care about your health because of allergies stay far away from this place for your safety. I thought I was ordering from a different Chinese place cause they screwed up my order once before. I am highly allergic to onions and my first ever order from them I specifically said no onions on my order. And guess what a shit ton of onions on it. I was on the phone for 15 minutes being argued with about me being wrong then the owner gets there and argues with me for another 15 minutes. 30 minutes on the phone because of their screw up they didn't want to fix. The owners excuse for the onions was it didn't say no onions. SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN DOES NOT COME WITH ONIONS! So at this point I just wanted all my money back for 30 minutes of arguing for 9 dollars and they could of sent me to the hospital. They do not care about your safety or food allergies! There is another Chinese restaurant by the GameStop who will get your order correct! I have already put in a complaint with DHEC and better business bureau for the lack of training in food allergies. My ""Go-To"" Place I tried this place with co-workers and didn't expect much in terms of quality since it was lunch time. But the dish that all of us got were satisfying (veggies w/chik, beef and veggies, general tso, garlic chik, black bean). For me to say the food was phenomenal would be a far stretch since it is kind of pre-prepared and so cheap but it does the trick when you're looking for a solid place to get some American-Chinesefood. Today was my second time I ordered a take out combo from Asia Express in Goose Creek. The first time I did not order from the menu and didn't include an egg roll. Today I noticed that the combos included egg rolls, so i mentioned to the young man that it wasn't included in my order last week and he replied; " I don't know" while walking away. An egg roll probably cost them 30 cents. They would rather loose a customer then fix the issue. I'm a fan of this place and I was appalled by the number of negative reviews; so I'm going go help them out. The people here are extremely friendly and their staff can communicate with you with no difficulty. The general tso's chicken is the best in the state, not just a puddle of grease like a bunch of places will give you. The taste packs a punch the way it's supposed to. I've never had to wait too long for my order. My only criticisms are the egg roll and the hibachi menu. The egg roll needs a rework, and the hibachi cannot compete with the other Japanese hibachi/teriyaki in the Goose Creek area. Nevertheless, this place will continue to have my business. read more
