When I realized how long it had been, I KNEW I had to order a small feast for the wife and I. Bubble Milk Tea (Coconut) - this drink doesn't factor into my rating of the restaurant. I know that most places that aren't dedicated to selling Boba/Fruit/Milk Teas are just going to sell mediocre instant powder mix drinks. with that said, I love everything coconut and I was a happy boy with my drink. I especially loved the large size which made the $9 cost easier to swallow since that's the same price I'd pay at a Gong Cha. Miso Soup - wife and I order this EVERY TIME. of all the places we've tried this, this place consistently serves our favourite. of course this is very subjective since Miso Soups can come in so many different concentrations, and the miso section in H Mart will show you how many flavor varieties this soup can come in. Gyoza Soup - the clear broth is very refreshing and stays nicely in the background to let the gyoza be the star; which tastes just like I would expect. yummy pork in a soft, broth-soaked wrapper. I personally think the ratio is a bit off and there should either be less broth or 1 additional gyoza in the bowl, because it seems a little imbalanced with so much broth. Seafood Salad - this is a perfect size serving that doens't ruin your appetite for the main course. nice ratio of crab meat, squid, shrimp, etc. it actually comes with a drizzle of Sriracha (or some hot sauce) already drizzled on top and it was a perfect complement to the salad. Holiday Appetizer - it's imitation crab meat and cream cheese wrapped up and fried. it's delicious and indulgent and it's served on a small bed of greens. I love getting this app every now and then. Honey Sandwich - I'm not a professional sushi reviewer with delicate taste buds. all I can say is that these little triangle bites are splendid and full of filling. Salmon Avocado Roll - uhh this needs no explanation. wife gets this every time and loves it. happy wife happy life. Tempura Ice Cream - this place sells one of my most favorite fried ice cream. the tempura batter is lovely and crispy and it actually encapsulates most of the ice cream. it's a must-get if you have a sweet tooth. this is NOT like other places that either do a cakey batter or they lazily top off a scoop of ice cream with corn flakes. this place is very close to the real deal experience I get in Boston.

First, you need to look for the place, as it's in a small business block with a slight setback, so it is real easy to miss the sign on the building. Plenty of parking, but you may need to park 50 or so feet towards the main strip building lot, as there is limited angle spots in front of the restaurant (as they share the lot with other businesses). The place is divided into 2 rooms. The main room has the bar, grill seating section, and tables. The other is added dining for groups, or more regular table seating. Ordered from the bar while awaiting the group: pricing OK, and the drink was OK, but I thought could have been a bit better. I am not sure if the bartender (one of the owners) is very experienced, but it is what it is. We had a new server, one of the local high school girls, and I know what it is like to be new. But, she did a good job, keep the tabs correct, and I hope she stays. Menu: the place is a combination of three fares - Japanese, Chinese, and the hibachi menu. The menu is extensive, so checking the menu online before you go may be helpful. I can not speak for the hibachi menu as we ordered off the Japanese and Chinese offerings. Won Ton soup is very good, and flavored very differently than I am used to. I really liked the pork dumplings, and there were 6 of them. I ordered Beef Chow Fun, and I found it more "saucier" than other places, but I liked it, and had a bit to take home. My wife ordered a Tuna and Salmon poke bowl and it was a good size, too. Fresh fish chunks, and she was very very happy with it. Others had various sushi's, and they were good sized, and those that order it like their selections. One fellow ordered just a whole large plate of Chinese spare ribs; to each their own! They didn't take a request to "substitute" items in some selections, as they said, they cook it according to what that offering is supposed to be. The standard Chinese meals were plenty, and no one had any complaints (except the one fellow wanting "this" instead of "that") Price: hey, its 2026, so it's fair pricing, in my opinion. There are at least 3 "gourmet sushi" specialty places in the general area, and they are easily 30-60% more expensive. For us, being about 15 minutes away, Other notes: the restrooms are a bit of a hike. You go out the back door which opens to the back hallway of the strip mall. Walk about 40 feet, turn and go through the glass doors that separate the older building from the new one: the facilities are right on the right side. That was worth a fun discussion at the table. I see some reviews are all over the ratings, and I can't speak for staffing beyond the time we were there, but we all know that is a problematic area that can sometimes affect the experience. Your milage may vary. I'd put this place on my return list.
